Not a good experience!!! I’m from out of state working and had problems with my X5. I took my car to an independent foreign car repair mechanic first. He did what he could but didn’t fix the problem. I then took it to Moss and they had the car for over a week and didn’t communicate with me very well. I asked my service advisor to take the tire out of the back storage area that it was trash and the parts the other mechanic had left so that y’all could see what was replaced. None of that was done and all my glove compartment contents were shoved in the passenger door. You disconnected something because my radio hasn’t worked since I picked my vehicle up.I have left the service advisor a message but no call back. Thanks Moss for screwing me over while I’m here helping rebuild your community after Ida!

The service manager is a man of his word and sticks behind what he says.Roughly 6 months ago he promised a free oil change due to a mishap not only did he clear the mishap up but 6 months later he remembered and stay true to his word about that free oil change.Its the little things that matters thank you Moss Motors and thank you to the employees who worked there for doing a diligent job In a time of a pandemic.

Recently took delivery of this ’19 M5 Competition from Moss BMW. After searching nationally for months for a very specific M5 in pristine condition, at a fair price, I found this car. Robert Ray and his staff were responsive and professional from the start. It is somewhat daunting purchasing a high end (black) performance vehicle sight unseen. Robert and his staff answered every question honestly and accurately, provided all history on the car and sent multiple photos and videos. My purchase experience was straightforward and painless. There were no surprises or hidden costs. The car was delivered to me in South Carolina exactly as promised and depicted. I cannot recommend this dealership and their folks enough !!

I took my car in to diagnose a noise and it took them 3 days to let me know what the problem was I never received a call to let me know what the issue was. I had to call to get the diagnosis. I also had to call to get updates on the repairs. They found a problem that they claimed it was overlooked from previous work that they did for the previous owner which, thankfully, was still under warranty. This repair work took another 7 days. 10 days total in the shop.... Sadly it was an 11 yr old car and with $10000 in estimated repairs. I had to get rid of it and bought me a new car. Will not buy a BMW again!

With inventory low and Covid complications I had to wait for a part to come in. In the meantime they still did my trade in December when it expired and provided and delivered me with a Dealer vehicle until my new car was ready. This was most appreciative since I was affected by 2 hurricanes in Lake Charles ....they went above and beyond for me!

Absolutely brilliant service. During a drive from Houston to Florida on a Friday night we got a nail puncture on a run flat tire. I stopped repeatedly to fill it up hoping to get to a town to fix it. We found one further down i10 which was Moss Motors in Lafayette and called them advising the situation with an ETA of 5:57pm. They stayed open for us, got the tire switched out and back on the road. With a young family and dog onboard waiting on the side of the road and spending a night at a motel wasn’t top of my agenda. They were so friendly and the dedication to customer service was fantastic!
Moss Motors was great in accommodating me when I had a recent flat tire. As soon as I noticed the flat tire, the service department instructed me to come in immediately. My car was ready in less than two hours. Fortunately, I have a wheel and tire warranty, which covered the repair completely. I fully recommend obtaining a wheel and tire warranty on any car with low profile tires. Thank you Moss Motors for being a bright spot in a dim 2020 year!

I had a blow out on a Sunday before a two day holiday and during a freeze. It was very frustrating! When Kevin came to work after the holiday, he kept me abreast of the status of getting a new tire. It took 5 days for the tire to arrive from Dallas because of the cold icy weather. Levi’s was courteous and nice. As soon as my car was ready he let me know that I could pick it up.
Brought the car in for routine service/inspection. Treated with the highest level of professionalism.Kevin and the entire Moss BMW service crew did an excellent job of seeing to any questions and having back on the road as quickly as possible.

My experience is awful. I don’t have much of a choice because This is the only BMW dealership in Lafayette. Service is terrible they have had my vehicle for over a month!!!! I would not recommend bringing your vehicle here at all. I am tired of being jerked around, the story constantly changes and they have no idea when my car will be ready. This is ridiculous!!!! None of it makes any sense DO NOT bring your vehicle here, DO NOT!!!As soon as I get my vehicle back I am getting rid of it. Too many problems with BMW and I refuse to ever bring my vehicle here ever again!!!! 😡

On my trip from Houston to New Orleans, the low oil level warning came on in my 2016 X3. I stopped by Moss BMW in Lafayette to have it looked at, and the service I received was outstanding. I let them know I had a meeting later in the day and they took my vehicle in and checked it out immediately and had me back on the road in less than an hour. They didn’t charge me for this, and even gave me a free extra quart of oil, just in case I had further issues down the road. It’s service like this that makes owning a BMW an absolute pleasure and I highly recommend Moss BMW!

I have a 2016 BMW X5 I35s that is a few months beyond warranty. It has approximately 19, 000 miles on it. I bought the vehicle in because the panoramic roof would not close. I have opened the roof a few times since I had the vehicle. I am the original owner and this vehicle is not driven daily. I was charged $170 to diagnose that the motor was bad, also the price included closing the roof manually which is a simple procedure. I was quoted a replacement and labor cost of nearly $1000. The vehicle has low mileage and is not driven daily as I mentioned. I have a problem with the dealer (BMW) not replacing the motor as though it was under warranty considering the circumstances. I intend on writing to the corporate office about this matter.
BMW is the worst dealership Ive ever dealt with. Never buy a used car from them. They cover up damages, good enough for a sale; within a week or less, all of their fake repairs are apparent. Example below, Moss BMW painted over seat damages, within a week the paint peeled. The peelings suck to the steering wheel and my clothes. I have many more examples.

This is Tina Barrett. I’m huge on a cars service department when purchasing a vehicle. Yesterday was my first experience with Moss Motors BMW in Lafayette. Overall, I was very disappointed.I live in Lake Charles and when I purchased my X7, I was told I’d have someone contact me within 2 weeks to follow up on a tutorial of the vehicle. I had to initiate this contact more than 3 weeks after I took possession of the vehicle.I was also told that when service was needed, because I have an issue driving on the interstate following a horrible accident in June, they would drive to Lake Charles and bring me a loaner while they serviced my vehicle. That was never mentioned when they called to schedule service. As a matter of fact, they said to even have a loaner, I needed a 2 week lead time on service.Within a few days of purchasing my vehicle, I noticed there was a large noticeable crease in the back panel of one of the seats. When I contacted my salesperson, he even validated that one of their employees had noticed that the day I took delivery but no one told me. In any event, they agreed to order a replacement panel for the seat. When the replacement panel came in, we’d been hit by Hurricane Laura. I told them I wanted the panel replaced but, because of everything we were experiencing following the hurricane, I’d likely wait until my first service to have the panel replaced.When I arrived for service, I needed the routine first oil service, the panel replaced (which I verified when I scheduled the service) and I had a tire pressure light on. I was told service would take about an hour and a half.Two and a half hours later, after hearing nothing from them, I called to check on my vehicle. The service man asked me if I’d bought a “loaner” car. Hell no! My vehicle had less than 100 miles when I purchased. He then went on about the panel crease saying BMW didn’t warranty this. WTH, he strongly insinuated that I’d caused the crease. I told him the entire story, which he reluctantly listened to.Then he said “your tire pressure light is on because there’s a nail in your tire and BMW doesn’t repair tires, they replace them and the tire is $600.” I told him to finish up the car and I’d have the tire fixed elsewhere. At this point he says he thinks he could get someone in the back to plug the tire.When I arrived to pick my car up, I transferred my belongings to my vehicle and no one was around. I walked back inside service and asked if I needed to sign anything or otherwise do anything before leaving. Here’s the biggest hickie of all. He says “well we normally CHARGE to plug your tire but you can go!”I was like. “Oh hell no, first you told me BMW doesn’t even plug tires! So how in the hell do you propose to charge for a service you typically don’t perform but ONLY had someone perform to help me. Secondly, obviously living in a hurricane disaster area, this isn’t my first nail and my experience has been that I have never been charged to simply plug a tire. And finally, you insinuated that I caused the crease in the back panel of the seat”. He turned and said, “yeah I assumed you did it because BMW doesn’t warranty that!”This is my 3rd BMW. I’ve owned 2 Mercedes and a Porsche and, until yesterday, I’d never been treated with such disrespect. I had heard Moss Motors BMW in Lafayette was great with service. Well, clearly I had the wrong service representative!!I have a choice about where I purchase my vehicles. I had heard great things about Moss Motors BMW. To date, I cannot say I can share any great such experience.
