Sound Check has great friendly staff. I go there they host car audio competitions for MECA. Absolutely a great time and family oriented. There are several competitors with nice loud vehicles. Go check them out!

Never answers their phone.. ever. I asked for an invoice for my dealership to install a radio through Sound check and they sent me pricing on everything but no invoice. I emailed back and called at least 15 times. No response yet. Unprofessional at best.

I liked that they are veteran owned and operated and prided themselves on selling American products! That reason alone I will go back.The guy I spoke with seemed to know what he was talking about. He was never rude and answered any and all questions. The only reason they did not get 5 stars was because both times I came in I just felt like unwelcome or uncomfortable. Im not sure exactly why but that was the vibe I was feeling. Like I said I was not treated poorly and I purchased speakers. Idk thats the feeling I got walking around the show room.

Where to begin.. This place is simply amazing!! I needed a radio for my car, but sadly Sound Check couldnt fit me in, so I had to do the installation myself. The horrible part is that I havent worked on anything like this since 1989. Granted, it all came back to me, but I needed a little help. I must have called those guys 20 times. While I expected the staff to get upset with my calling and finally just hang up on me, but they didnt. I have a long drive ahead of me and not having a radio would have been hell. Thank goodness for their help. You should also know the prices were very good. Finally, this is not someone from the company or a family memberTHIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!Thanks Sound Check!!!!

Came in from out of town to get some work done because there isn’t an authorized sundown dealer in Indianapolis anymore. The owner and either co-owner or employee were both amazingly helpful. When I got there they even let me know did they had found a better way to do what I asked for cheaper with even better equipment that I had originally ordered. I’ve worked with a lot of shops over the years and there aren’t many that could compete with the quality or service that I experienced year. On top of that the Price was pretty decent too.

So I wanted to get way better sound in my new Challenger. My neighbor has a great system in his car from these guys and highly recommended that I start with them. Glad I did! Super friendly people and great explanation of what my options were. Also could make an appointment which for me was huge and also open on Saturdays which works even better. Not great for first impressions. Asked if they could cut an 8 spacer ring and was told I would need to wait a week. They also told me my sub would blow in my enclosure even though it is the airspace the manufacturer recommends and my friend has the exact same setup and it has performed well for a year. This tells me that they match/adjust amps wrong, or that they dont really know what they are doing. I guess Amazon exists for a reason...

My experience here was a good one. The manager will work with you. I made a purchase I was not happy with and he took it back no problem. They will make sure you are happy you just need to be reasonable and polite. They will work with you.

Went there a couple years ago to move a sub unit from one car to another. They stole my amp from another car and replaced it with another one without my consent. They then had the audacity to charge me way more than what was quoted. Awful attitude towards paying customers.

Prices where higher than almost all the other stores i have been to . Tech was knowledgeable and took time to show me a few different subs

I won a remote start on the radio, and my old car and key fob couldnt keep up with technology, so they threw in a new key fob for free so they could continue with the installation. Very happy with the results, and very happy with how kind they are. Thank you!

Ripped me off. Supplied him with new gold plated RCAs and he used some that were extremely cheep. Same with the audio converter. Paid 30 for one in the store room and he installed a pos that he prob bought in bulk for 2 bucks a pop. He improperly installed my battery I made a turn and it shorted out to the metal tie down bracket. Asked him to run a remote wire and knob to my center console and he agreed. Said it was part of the install. He didnt he ran the remote to the ignition like I asked him not to.

Fast reliable quality help. Cant ask for better customer service. You want your radio to play that music the way it was meant to be heard this is your place. Remote starts? In and set up to your liking fast as can be and friendly help anytime you need help figuring out how to use it. I wont go anywhere else but soundcheck. They go the distance to make it rightvthe first time.

Went in first time there. Got quoted one price while waking around checking sub boxs out. Then he helped another person. Came back to me an told me a different price when I went to pay. Left wont be back.

Guy had an attitude the whole time (as if I wasn’t good enough for his time). Told me a certain price(200$)/time(2hrs) on the phone for when my raido would be installed. Then tells me 350$ when I got there. What a joke! Clear over prices and NOT HONEST.

I have been doing business with this ship for over 10 years now! Every car I get seems like the first trip is there to get my subs, amp, and remote start. Its nice to have everything under one roof and getting it done at a great price with professionals that care about what they are doing.I had some pretty big work done there while I was deployed overseas. During this time all the things I wanted done were done before I got back home and they were nice enough to store my truck until I returned home.I have nothing but good to say aboutthis shop. As for others saying the shop is there for a quick buck I challenge them to look at the customer base and time in business that this shop has!! In closing I will say Ive always been treated well and I will continue to refer people and go back myself as well.

I came in with a simple problem regarding my subwoofers and asked them to look at it. Instead, the guy who seemed to be in charge insisted that he knew what the problem was without having to look at it. He referred me to a store down the street to purchase a new amplifier because he claimed it would be cheaper than what he had in stock. Nevertheless, I bought the cheaper amp and came back to have him install it. After installing it he told me that my subwoofers backed when he hooked up the new amp so I would need to buy new subs to get my system to work. He charged me $60 for the original install and continued to talk me into buying new subwoofers from him. Since I had already invested $160 and my system didnt work, I decided to get the least expensive ones in the store ($100). So he installed some subs that they had on display in the store and they finally worked. I paid and drove off, excited to leave for my road trip the next day yet still disappointed in the money I was talked into spending. An hour and a half into my trip to Michigan my subs completely turned off. I took my car back in for him to look at and after a diagnoses he tells me that the volt converter isnt compatible with my stock radio and its causing problems. So here I am $260 out and no working subwoofers. I truly hope you have better luck than me.
