Cannon mine coffee makes the best caffeinated drinks around. Their staff are also very nice and pleasant. Well worth the stop.

Cant keep my husband away from here for his morning stroll and quiet cup of coffee! Clean, hospitable, soft music and I love the old time wooden floors. It remind me of my favorite general store/candy store growing up in a tiny town, Golts, Maryland, not far from Sassafras in the Chesapeake Bay Area.

This coffee shop has a feel of its own style. Staff was friendly. Coffee was really good. In the morning it has a quiet feel. A relaxed feeling. Not only can you enjoy the coffee, but once you have the burst of caffeine, you can walk the strip to look at all the art. Reading other reviews, not only is it a relaxed coffee shop in the morning but a fun atmosphere in the evening. If I lived closer, this place would be my go-to coffee shop for the morning wake up and start my day. If you are in Lafayette in the morning, this would a top location to stop by.

I get an almondmilk latte almost every day from various places and I’m sad to report that this is probably the worst one I’ve ever had :( I like mine a little bit sweet but not overly sweet (I never add anything, just almondmilk and espresso) this one was super tart and I think they must’ve burnt the espresso. I’ve never had to stop drinking one 5 sips in, but I couldn’t take this one even while eating a burrito! I would def give just the almondmilk latte a one or zero stars. I give this place a 3 because all I tried was the one latte and it’s unfair to score lower than that. However, like you’d judge a Mexican restaurant on their chips/salsa/margaritas. I judge my coffee shops by the quality of their almond and oat milks. And this was terrible. Hope I help another almondmilk lover with this review! If staff changes their almondmilk and how they make it, let me know and I’m happy to take down this review!

This place has a cozy ambiance with the wood panels. There is also a fun rotating selection of art from local artists.I generally drink the tea myself which is quite good. I particularly like the Boulder Breakfast.The place also has a nice selection of about a half dozen local beer, cider and kambucha taps. Ive stopped in here a few times when waiting on a table at a nearby restaurant.

What a great problem to have in that there are multiple places to grab coffee in Lafayette. Cannon Mine has a great ambiance, cool events and music at night, has a great central location with a cool patio. Oh yeah, their coffee is great too (and they have a solid beer selection for evening events). Highly recommend!

Great local establishment near downtown Lafeyette. Looks small on the outside but has a surprising amount of space. Coffee is excellent and they offer a wide selection of specialty drinks. Service was fast, with a smile. Highly recommend a stop there.

Had a mocha that was so perfect it made me thankful to have mouth and took the sting out of being up early. Along with coffee and espresso there seems to be a selection of loose tea to choose from. The atmosphere is the usual eclectic coffee shop where things are perfectly mismatched. Local art for sale on the walls. One unique feature is the bar with local beers, cider, and kombucha. The staff was also friendly and personable.

I went to Cannon Mine on a Friday night and they had some free live music going on. Its kind of tight in there but it was cool. I got a smoothie and it was good but VERY sweet. My companions had tea and they seemed to enjoy. The place has a lot of character and I would definitely return.

Walking in to start my day. There are regulars that call the barristas by name. Warm, friendly and cozy atmosphere. This shop was here last I moved away in 2005 and has only remained the same yet beautifully evolving. I love this treasure of a small town big heart coffee hot spot!

Great place and nice people. As with a lot of places, I believe this may have become TOO casual. While Im close to the counter or inside the shop I dont especially want to hear loud conversation behind the counter about personal matters. Less sharing, more great service 😊Again, the drinks are great and the outside seating in nice.

Only downside, flavoring prices are not posted on menu $0.50 per flavor. Coffee is a little on the higher side, but from my 20 years living in the Louisville/Lafayette area some of the best coffee in town.

The coffee was average and the staff was so-so friendly. In a pinch its a good place for a cup of coffee but not my favorite. There is great seating to be had indoors and out and their baked goods are nice. The beer selection is pretty good for a coffee house.

Fantastic little coffee shop. Not only are the caffeinated concoctions made with skill and care, there is a great selection of local and regional brews on tap. Very relaxing place to post up and get some work down. On street parking can be hard to find, but it is worth it for get on of the delightful coffee drinks served up here.

When I visited this coffee shop, there was a little concert with some bands. I enjoyed the music but I couldn’t have enough conversation with barista for my order.... too loud...

Nice little coffee shop in Downtown Lafayette. They serve unpretentious coffee along with light fare for breakfast, all at a reasonable price. You can get beer or cocktails later in the day. It is never too busy, but there is always someone there.

My co worker and I go here 2 to 3 times a week. Usually before 10 a.m. the 2 ladies they have working there are amazing and work well together. If the hot pots are out of coffee let them know and within minutes theyre replaced with fresh ones.

We went for karaoke and it was the most fun Ive had in a LONG TIME. Plus the selection of songs was amazing

Hands down my FAVORITE coffee shop. I moved to Longmont and still drive 30 min to get their coffee almost every morning. All the hot coffee is amazing and Im obsessed with the cold brew they have. But the best of all us the extremely friendly staff. I love all the employees! Also check out their Yahtzee paparazzi Wednesdays and Sundays at 3!!

Terrible experience. The mens restroom toilet was horrific. One cannot help think if they dont take of the restrooms how well are they doing on food preparation and safety precautions? In the outdoor area, there were no signs about distancing nor notification empty tables were sanitized. We wont be back.

Comfortable coffee house on Main Street in Lafayette, CO. I have been here a couple of times on Wednesday night for open mic. Good players, friendly hosts and a decent PA. They have coffee, a small bar and basic food items, pastries, burritos, etc.

If youre in the mood for a drip coffee, they usually have about 4 fresh and local roasts to choose from. They are self serve so look around the counter to left. Their other drink options are extensive and the baristas are helpful. Nice spaces inside and out to hang. The pastries are worth checking out, I like the almond croissant. Havent been for beer or music, but I intend to.

Stopped for strong coffee. They brew great coffee, chai tea and more. Youll never be disappointed.

Ive never had a good drink from here. Always something wrong with the beverage. Iced coffee tastes like it was made last month. Burnt milk in lattes and the espresso is over extracted. Yucky.

Great coffee thats brewed just right. I think most places brew what I call airplane coffee which means diluted like what you get in a flight, but not here! Rarely too loud, which makes for a great place to meet up, read, write, etc. The staff is kind and helpful, and the owner listens to his people, and makes improvements over time.

The best espresso on the Front Range, in my opinion. Fast and friendly and a great place to hang out. Free Wi-Fi, which these days I know is very common, but still very much appreciated by most of us :-)
