I went into the store several weeks ago and the staff was all nice. Jon’Vea helped me and she really went above and beyond. I didn’t find Everything I was looking for that day, so she found out my style, and text me several options to find the perfect fit. She was extremely helpful in finding the fixtures. It was like having a personal stylist but never made me feel hurried. Thank you so much for your assistance Jon’Vea! Sunbelt has beautiful lighting at great prices! Don’t see something in the Store, don’t worry, they will find the perfect light for you! ♥️

I had the same experience as Sheba Williams described. My sister and I entered Sunbelt Lighting today, 7/13/2021 and the two ladies at the front desk didn’t acknowledge us. We walked throughout the store and found several items we were interested in. Not one person ever approached us so we decided to take pictures of the items we wanted and take our business elsewhere.Unlike Mrs. Williams I am quite confident we were ignored because we were black. While looking at a chandelier upfront an older white couple entered and they were immediately greeted with a smile and asked how they could be helped. At that point the young lady realized her inappropriate behavior and asked us if we needed help. We then responded no you can’t do anything for us. We took our rather large lighting budget for our new home and the pictures taken of the 5 items we wanted and purchased them elsewhere.There are too many retail options to tolerate this poor customer service from anyone. Clearly there is a pattern of whom Sunbelt Lighting chooses to service.

Awesome place, I’m at this store or ordering something to get delivered regularly. Super friendly staff and great service. They are always on the ball, whoever manages that store is a superhero! You won’t find anything wrong with staff or store, and if you do, they’ll fix it quick.

Poor customer service. I just visited this business for the first time with my family, and we were not greeted or acknowledged at any point during our time in the store. I wont make assumptions as to why; but for the sake of painting the picture, we were the only African American family in the store. I made eye contact with staff on a few occasions, and still we werent even told, Someone will be with you soon or anything. My husband and I felt too uncomfortable to even consider supporting this business. Greeting customers is a basic skill and sets the tone of the experience for people who are willing to spend money in your store. If you choose to make customers feel unwelcome, customers will assume they arent.

After building my home, I have only one negative review to write. And here it is...if you are building a home or looking for lighting for any project, I strongly suggest you take your business elsewhere. From the moment I walked in to the show room dealing with Sunbelt was a disaster. They were the worst vendor in my ENTIRE building process. There were too many issues to list. I spoke to the manager, Candace about yet another incorrect delivery (there were SEVERAL) that actually pushed my entire project back and cost us serious money. I even asked if she was aware of what I’d been through in my dealing with them. She claimed to be unaware. After telling her my long history of horrible service she didn’t even apologize or offer a solution. Actually acted like I didn’t say a thing and wasn’t particularly professional or friendly. Do NOT expect good service, answered emails, correct orders, or for the person you’re dealing with to ever be at work.
