Wow, did that just happen?!? Worst FedEx experience of my life. Big Tough Guy behind the counter thoroughly enjoys being a Richard Cranium to the public and it’s very obvious. Ruined my entire day.I travel all over the Midwest, and swear by FedEx. Until today. I’ve used this location probably 5-8 times in the past over the last few years. For shipping, printing, etc. Walked in and said “hello”, was ignored. Probably because I don’t wear face diapers. Whatever, so then our interaction began. I was on a tight schedule, after 5 PM, helping a coworker out by shipping a product desperately needed….and let him know I’d be utilizing my company account number. Through his mask up to his eyes, he said “you’ll have to have an email from your company to use the account number”. I explained that I have never had any issue at any other store just using MY COMPANY account number. He as a matter of factly said “well that’s how we do it here”. Could feel his aggressive stance and called him out on it. Had an exchange and told him his attitude sucked in so many words. He told me to get the F out. Gladly, Won’t ever do business here again. Lost a customer today.

They want to put you through as much hassle as possible in order to pickup your package. Even though the package matches the name on your ID you better make sure the address you sent it to is on your ID or theyll make you jump through hoops and hassle not just you but whoever lives at the address it was sent to just to release your property. Doesnt matter if you have all the information in the world related to the package if the one small detail of address doesnt match your ID.

This team has always been great! I get a phone call immediately (when open) or promptly (as soon as they open) to confirm my order and answer any questions. They agree on a time for completion and it is always ready. When I get to the store they are prompt and professional. Not always friendly but never rude. One time I forgot to wear my mask and they kindly reminded me the policy. A pleasure to stop by and work with them!

If you have an already packed item to ship, skip these guys and go to the FedEx ship center at 3524 Crouch St. These guys will insist on opening your package, then tell you it doesnt meet their shipping standards so they can sell you an expensive box and packaging materials or their packaging service that often costs more than the item and shipping combined.If, however, you are looking for printing services, I have had good results from the office side of this place. They seem to just get your order done and get it to you. Its kind of a mixed bag here.

Store hours advertised as open at 10 am. Walk In at 10:15 am. No one else in the store. No one. I am sorry sir we cant help you until 11 am as we have a policy to only help people over 60 at 10 am. Well, there is no one here, I am sorry you have to leave. Great policy FedEx, thats why your market share is declining.

I arrived at 9:15, close to when the store opened. Despite no information posted online to indicate this, I was told that the first hour of the store was reserved for people over 65 and high risk individuals.I was the only person there, and I was wearing mask. I had a return which literally only would have required the staff to scan a QR code from my phone and take the package from my hand.Still, the manager blocked the door and turned me away, insisting that this had to be done “at the counter,” and I would have to return an hour later.I am 100% on board with COVID-19 precautions. However, the way this man handled the situation was rude and showed a complete lack of empathy and customer service.

Decent place to go for all of your shipping and copying needs. They can do scans to a flash drive if you have one, but it would be nice if they could get into the 21st century and e-mail scans to you.Everything is pretty expensive here. Copies are 17¢ each, envelopes and other supplies are also on the high end. Do your copies at home if you have the ability.This is one of the few locations that will ship out FedEx Express on a Saturday, so you might be forced to come here if youre in a pinch.

Came in to scan 7 large drawings to a flash drive and also print out a set for myself. Scanning went well and I needed to print out 66, 24x36 drawings from my drive. Most fedex stores will run a batch program at the front desk and all I have to do is stand and wait then pay at the end for them. The person at the front desk told me to go and do each one through the self service. 66 drawings I need to choose out of the drive, pay and print each separately. No thanks. I sent them to staples and will pick them up in the morning.

I asked them for a box to ship my laptop, they say the laptop box is $24. Yes. It’s the price of box. I chose another box and they said they won’t ship with any other box. When I said I still want to buy another box and go to another place to ship, they rudely and begrudgingly sold it. Asked me “card or cash” and I said card, and asked a few questions. He pretended to not hear my questions and virtually shouted to me “card or cash” again. Very unprofessional and rude employee. Not all employees are like that, but the one helped me was extremely rude.

I visited the store to pickup a package. Terrible customer service, very rude condescending employees. The employee seemed annoyed I was picking up a package, they couldnt find it. We had a difficult time verifying my address because I had just moved. When trying to verify on the computer he refused to take my clarification on the address. I was understanding that the item was undelivered but the attitude the employee had when I went to pick it up was the worst Ive ever experienced. I am a customer service employee so I understand how tough things can be. I left upset with my delivery. The experience completely ruined my day.

What is the point of having your own FedEx account for your own company where you can print your own labels, pre-package your items? In the web portal, FedEx themselves instructs you to drop them off at any FedEx location. Yet, strangely, the actual FedEx location wont let you just drop them off! They want to open the boxes, inspect the items and re-label everything. What a waste of time.

To simply send a box, they require a photo ID, your street address, the card yourself using to pay, and your phone number, all at once. They are the only store I’ve ever been to that requires your phone number for service. So if you’re okay giving a fedex cashier all of your personal info at once, go for it.The rationale for the phone number is asinine (what am I going to do to help a package over the phone once it’s out for delivery? They already have my return address.) Either deliver it or return it. Talking to me on the phone won’t help any of the scenarios. The USPS has figured this out, I’m sure you can too.

I will never use this location again. We have a customer with a Fed Ex account so we have to use them. Tonight they refused a box as the edge of the flaps were slightly bent (the damage was so slight I don’t even know how to describe it). We were shipping envelopes so the box was solid as there were inner boxes inside of the outer box. There was simply nothing, I repeat nothing wrong with the packaging. We’re a commercial business and have been shipping packages for almost 40 years. They sent me to Crouch Street location. They said since this store is a franchise they want you to pay to repack. What a rip off these people are. I only use UPS and for good reason. Whenever their sales reps contact me for my business shipping I always tell them I will never switch to Fed Ex. Just another of many reasons why. Simply poor, untrained customer service people at this location.

BEWARE - DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION!! You will NOT receive competent cordial customer service and they might even call you a POS as you walk out the door!After bringing in a package that was not up to Fedex shipping standards which requires 2 inches of bubble wrap around electronics (I had 4 inches on every side), I was told I had an attitude because I didnt understand their shipping requirements (because we clearly met them).The customer service rep JEREMY opened my package (without my permission) and began to rearrange my packaging. After I explained to him that my packaging was up to the standards they had just laid out to me, I was informed that I had an attitude and he didnt need it today. So, it was off to the races! After being belittled and told I didnt know how to package my laptop and cell phone - I was told Id need two packages (double or more the shipping I had a label for).After Id had enough of being lied to and having my packaging all rearranged I was told all they could do for me was give me a map to another Fedex location. On the way out the door I did sling some nasty words (I am not sorry for calling out atrocious customer service when I see it) but was surprised when I was yelled out the door by JEREMY letting me know what he thought about me too!I spoke with the Manager of the Fedex location (Eric) about an hour or two after the incident. After being interrupted about 4 times while I was trying to explain what happened in his store I was told that they were going to coach Jeremy on how to be better at customer service (idk how youre going to coach a customer service rep into not being a Pr*ck - someone explain that to me). I got the distinct impression from Eric that not only was nothing going to be done to address the problem but essentially I was told to go F*ck myself.TL:DR - Tried to ship my laptop 3 miles across Lafayette. Ended up having all my packaging destroyed, treated like Im an idiot for not knowing shipping requirements (even though we looked them up and our packaging met them), cursed out of the office when I told them I didnt want to change my packaging, and then told by the manager to go F*ck myself and nothing was going to be remedied.

Avoid dealing with their senseless employees at all costs, it will ruin your day. Terrible customer service. I came here to drop off several packages. The employee ask me to open a pre packed package. I refuse because I have specify what’s in the package three times. And he had made up his mind to open it regardless what I said. I don’t understand why do I need to open a drop off package. He then refused to take anything and send me away. Avoid this place!

Michael helped me, thoroughly looking into various possibilities to find the best option for me. Completely incompetent... Rude and unprofessional. They do not want to take pre-paid packages. If you do take a package in they will ALWAYS try to find something wrong with it. I think they want to sell their own overpriced packaging supplies. Save time if you are sending a package and go to the Crouch street drop off center.***Leaving a one star review is way too generous.

ERIC was very rude & unpleasant to have to deal with/wait on me. I was ONLY customer in the store & doing a simple return of cable equipment. ERIC acted extremely rushed & annoyed to have to deal with it then on top of it he wouldnt even take back all of the equipment! So now Ive just had to waste more time double checking my account, and will be mailing the remaining box back myself that he basically refused to take, claiming it wasnt on my account. AWESOME 👎

The ladies there lied to us. We came in with a 27-inch monitor to send, the younger woman told us that it would cost 100 dollars, I acted surprised and then she told me that if I buy foam, bubble, and box and pack it myself it would cost a little over 50 bucks. So we bought the materials and packaged it there. After we finished wrapping the monitor with the bubbles, the older woman told us that they do not have a box large enough for the monitor we have except for a 100-dollar TV box which includes the bubble and foam. We were stunned because the younger woman mentioned nothing about what boxes they had. I argued that they should’ve told me that earlier so I wouldn’t waste money on the bubbles. The older woman said that they did tell me about the box and implied that I was lying. I was irritated because my friend and I were 100% sure about what we heard or not heard. Then the older woman backed up and said that well, the younger woman told her that she did tell us. That was absolutely a lie and she was insulting our intelligence. At that point I realized that I wasn’t going to have my problem solved there unless I pay them at least 100 more dollars for the packaging. So I left with anger and my day ruined. Will never come to this place again.

I have never been treated as rudely before as I was by Eric at your Lafayette, IN store. I had my package diverted from home delivery to the store because I was called into work and would not be home. I went into the store and after waiting approx. 6-8 minutes for some on to wait on me Eric came out of the back and curtly said how can I help you? My response was my name and I would like to pick up a package I had delivered to the store. At this point Eric said so wheres you’re ID I was set back with his short rude demeanor and apologized for not being ready with my ID. After going back and checking, finding my package Eric returned to demand the tracking number. Eric had the package it matched up with my ID and shipper information I gave him and now he wanted the tracking number before he would give me the package. I believe this is a mean way to do business. If ANYWHERE I would have been told I needed to bring the tracking number to the store to get the package I would have been prepared. Eric almost laughed at me because he knew he could hold my package and there was nothing I could do. I requested to use a computer in the store to look up the number and he refused. I had to leave the store, go find a computer and return just to have Eric continue to be hateful. Im feeling fairly certain this email will make no difference to anyone but this type of customer service was honestly almost to the point of being abusive. Please, please do something to either make your customers better informed so the process can flow smoother and correct Erics indignant attitude and customer service. Ric Spaulding

Fedex company doesnt have the best service, but that also applies to pretty much all carriers.If you need to use fedex, this location has BY FAR the nicest people Ive seen at any UPS, USPS, Fedex stores Ive been to. A prime example of excellent customer service.

Very stupid policy with shipping items in boxes where the items can shift inside the box. Was sending two bags of Shakeology back with one of the boxes unopened and they made me pay 4 dollars for paper for each box. Even tho one of the boxes was shipped to me that exact way in that exact box! They literally made me pay 8 dollars when I brought in prepaid shipping labels with nice boxes and the items fit in the box. Maybe find a way to not let the items fall off the conveyor belt so the workers dont get hurt that does not involve making ppl pay for PAPER (4 dollars a pop) that prob wont do anything anyway.

The same thing that happened to Tony and Josh happened to me.Walked in with a prepaid box, prepaid for by a major corporation that I work for (hint: its your homepage), and they tried to tell me that they couldnt send the box out and that I would need to pay for two different boxes (at 25 bucks a pop, plus god knows what else) in spite of the prepaid slip.Went to the location on Crouch street the next day and was greeted with fantastic help, as they helped me send off the supposedly illegal box that then showed up at the Major Corporation Headquarters the next day. I even went in there just a minute before they closed because I had to work late (and screwed up driving to the location), and the woman working there was super-sweet and had none of the attitude I get from the State Street Fed Ex that I get when Im just there to give them easy money to scan documents during the middle of the working day.I didnt know Fed Ex hacks were allowed to up-sell on things. Dont trust them, dont go there.

Less than CompetentLeaving bad reviews is unpleasant. Brought in a USB drive with TWO folders containing Chapters in PDF form for TWO Booklets to be printed and spiral bound. The lady copied the files, ‘merged’ them into one, and then tried separating them into the two books. Suggested she do TWO projects, one for each book. Watched her struggle with this.This was 5 PM. Asked the books to be ready by 730 am the next day.Walked in 740 am the next day. One person working, helping some guy who can’t use a do it yourself copier. Waited 5 minutes, then politely interrupted that I only needed to pick up an order. Was told “I can only work with one person at a time”. Another five minutes passed and I was helped. Was told my order was ‘finished’ but was not supposed to be picked up until 6 PM. He had to ‘enter it into the system’ so I could pay. Took another 5 minutes. Looked at the end results and Chapter 2 was missing from one booklet. The PDF files are numbered 00 (Front Page and Table of Contents), 01 (Chapter one), you get the idea.Trying to be nice, but not satisfied. Either people are not trained properly or the system is inadequate. If an order is ‘done’ and printed it should be ready to be paid for. If files are plainly ordered and numbered, nothing should be missing. I even left a sample printed at another FedEx Office to follow.

This place is the worst for dropping off packages. They insist on knowing what is in your package. If theyre not happy with your.answer they will open it to inspect and then insist that your packaging is inadequate and you need to buy their packaging services. Ive been to FedEx Office locations all over the midwest, this one is the only bad one that Ive encountered. Been here twice now and will never stop here again.

After reading the other 1 star reviews, I have to agree with each and every one of them. I went there to ship a return with a pre-paid label. I followed the packaging guidelines set forth by the manufacturer and the package was fully sealed.I didnt even make it to the counter, before being approached by the rude FedEx Office (Kinkos?) PACKAGE POLICE. Wes immediately informed me that he needed to open my package for inspection, before theyd accept it. I told him that I followed the packaging guidelines. He then proceeded to start an argument about the amount of packaging material I used. He motioned at the box, and told me that I didnt use enough. Keep in mind that my package was still sealed,the object inside was completely wrapped in bubble wrap, and it didnt move if you shook it. He mustve used his X-Ray vision to see all of the bagged air in there, because apparently I didnt have enough.Seriously? Since when do we need to allow shipping companies to open and inspect our shipments for proper packaging?Oh yeah! Ever since FedEx Kinkos (or is it FedEx Office now?) stopped making money on copies. They now need to rip customers off by forcing them to buy packaging. All the while dealing with people on their PACKAGE POLICE POWER TRIP.Utterly ridiculous... If you need to quickly drop off a pre-paid fedEx package, go to Walgreens. They scan them when you drop them off, and theyre picked up daily. 1 star for Kinkos. If you still want to visit after reading all of the reviews, just look for the empty parking lot.

I was skeptical going to this location because of the poor reviews here, and went there expecting the worst. However I was pleasantly surprised. Staff member Nicole assisted me with the packaging and shipping my large items, she was extremely nice and helpful. The whole experience was positive, so dont be too deterred by the negative reviews here.

Workers here dont use common since and are very rude. I was sent a Fedex return label for a item I purchased that arrived broken. I not only used the packaging that came with the item, but I added some of my own until the box was stuffed. You could shake the package hard and nothing in it would move. Immediately when walking in this location, the lady behind the counter looked annoyed by just having to help me and told me she needed to open and examine my package. I understand if thats there policy, then whatever, but she pulled everything out, unwrapped the already broken item and said she cant accept it because I didnt use enough packaging although I couldnt really even possibly add more!!! Not only that, but it was a return item that was already broken! Use some common sence, seriously!!! Avoid this location at all costs. I will be going out of my way to a different location if I ever have to use Fedex again! Just stick with the post office!!!

Guard your wallet. They charge by the square foot for printing. If it goes over a square foot by .0001, youre charged for another square foot. It doesnt sound like much until its $15/square foot.Also, have everything ready to print. If you need help setting up positioning on the paper to be printed, expect to pay $10 for about a minute of their time. But dont worry, if you dont have everything ready, you can get it ready on an outdated version of Photoshop for 45 cents a minute. It wasnt much for me since I know how to make a template in Photoshop.And I love their proofs. I printed on canvas. They printed my proof on paper with a low-quality printer. Just so I can see if my print looks right on canvas. What a crock.Next time I need something printed professionally, it most definitely wont be here.

Very helpful staff. I brought in a package with a pre-printed label. I had not completely taped it on correctly, so they taped the edges as well as all the edges of the box to make sure it wouldnt tear open in transit.

Said there was too much movement in my package and refused to ship without first opening the package to examine the contents and how it was packed. On trip 1 the man I was working with said he could not ship without 3 inches of bubble wrap on all sides of the item. So I left and got a bigger box with more bubble wrap. When I returned I made sure there was plenty of bubble wrap on all sides and there was no movement. The girl still said there was too much movement and insisted on opening the box. She then said that it needed SIX inches of bubble wrap on all sides. When I pointed out that this contradicted what the previous man said she became condescending and suggested that i try another location then because they wouldnt ship it unless I paid $20 for them to repackage my item. So I took it to the FedEx location on Crouch in Lafayette who shipped it with no problems.

This place is overly expensive. 12 bucks to send a package standard ground that was 3 x 7 x 10. They couldnt ship out my package on Saturday, thus pushing the shipment to Monday. There was one person in line in front of me and it took them 5 minutes to get to me because the employee was slow. They made me hand-write all the shipment instructions, which took forever with their pens that didnt work (plus I had to ship two packages to different addresses). Then the employee literally transcribed everything I wrote into the computer, and printed a separate label to put on the box. They took forever to do all of this because they were venting about their personal life the whole time they processed my order. Oh and guess what??? every item in the box was broken upon arrival.

Just attempted to drop off a package that was ready to go. They insisted that they had to open it then stated it needed repackaging and was not packaged correctly. I had the original packaging that it was shipped in before from FedEx, so I went straight to the FedEx location and they shipped it with no problems.

Dont waste your time. I had a prepaid package to drop off. The clerk stated that they could not accept the package and would offer to repack it for a fee. Drove two blocks and dropped off the package at the fedex depot. The clerk said there was nothing wrong with the package and couldnt see why FedEx office refused the package.

I had to have a package redirected there for incorrect address. The correct address was already updated 3 times through fedex and the text message telling me it was available for pickup only said to have a photo id. I presented the photo id and the tracking and they would not give me the package. Told me I needed a bill showing the older address even though text message said nothing about that. I called fedex when I got home and they said that YES they did have the corrected address to compare to my photo id. I think like they enjoy harrassing their customers for no reason. Really bad customer service. I am amazed theyre still in business. I have used them numerous times in the past but will never again. I also filed a complaint about them with Fedex.

Their computer errors prevented me from self scanning something to email to myself. They will scan for you but wont email, only save to a flash drive. Since their equipment prevented me from scanning myself, I asked them to do it. They refused and suggested I could buy a flash drive from them - to pay for their error! Sales persons shrugged.
