Easily the WORST bike shop I’ve ever been too. The employees are not 100% with customers and it’s just a whole mess. If I could rate 0 stars I would. They love to scam you with bike repair costs and then the day you come to pick up your bike you see that they haven’t even started. All in all, do not come to this Rock N road bike shop. Very unprofessional. On Sunday I took a baby seat and my bike asking for help if they can help me with installation. After looking at seat and bike they said, yes we can, but need to come on Wednesday to drop bike and seat and will be ready by Thursday.I did the same, dropped the bike on Wednesday. But when I went on Thursday to take bike they said they forget to work on this and asked me to come on Friday. I was busy on Friday, I went on Saturday. They said again same things that they forget to work on my bike.I asked why are you doing this tobe again and again. Then returned my bike saying that seat is not compatible with my bike.They could not able to check compability on Sunday, not on Wednesday, not on Thursday but on saturday.I was very excited to take my baby on a bike ride. You took one week out of it.

Charging double of what other shops are and cant keep up with the work. I guess thats why theyre charging double.They also insisted that I needed parts for a service that I didnt need. They just assume that the customer knows nothing. The service guys think theyre cool but theyre not. Overated place.

Worse customer service ever !! I called the store to pick up a bike stem . And she said she has it and will keep it for me . And make sure will hold it for me . Since i need to drive 60 miles to get it . When i got there . A boy work there helped me to find the stem . And he said that stem is not available to sell since it sold online a night before .i drove after i made a call with the lady at the same day . And What he can do only said sorry man . Wasting my gas my time my energy and my mood . Stay away from this people

Cant get someone to return my call. Left several messages. Texted several times. Had to resort to actually driving to their store to find out the status of my bike only to find out that no one had ordered the parts. Finally, they got my parts ordered and I returned my bike to repaired again. Same experience. The very definition of insanity. Im trying the same thing twice and expecting different results. Ill overpay to any other cycle shop that can at least meet the bare minimum of calling me back or texting me back or emailing me. Absurd.

Great store and Awesome Staff but the blonde girl still doesnt wear her mask. She didnt even have a mask. Everyone else in that store had a mask on. I guess she follows a separate set of rules

Dont attempt to replace a warrantied item through them. Its been since July that Ive been waiting on a derailleur and thats one thing but the other part that reflects how little they care is the non existent communication. Ive never received a single phone call addressing the warranty replacement. Ive called them numerous times and at one point they told me they would call back the next day so a mechanic could fill me in on the situation. Never got the phone call.To be honest about this place, if youre trying to buy a bike, theyll treat you like your neighbor.Try to do something that doesnt benefit them financially, youll probably be wondering if they care at all about customer retention.Path bike shop has been 100x better in terms of customer service. Definitely check them out.

Decent shop with helpful staff. Got some good service on my bike, my kids bike and info on local trails. The prices are high and the shop work left my bike dirty and I felt the price for labor was high. That said, its been the best shop to work with in the area thus far.

Stay away from this place. I was here today looking to purchase a bike when a bike out of nowhere fell from the top rack and landed on me and my 16 month old. The employees offered absolutely no help. Terrible customer service. This should not happen at a place like this the bikes should be secured.

When I walked in I was skeptical, I was greeted by a great young man named Mikael Rodgers. I heard hes the stiffness consultant so I wanted to talk to him right away. He advised me to buy the S-Works Rider-First Engineered Tarmac as opposed to their S-Works Allez as the bottom bracket stiffness was incomparable meaning none of my precious watts are lost in power transfer. I highly recommend going to this location only and speaking to the one and the only, Mikael. I am highly satisfied by the great service of this Rock n Road location.

Recently purchased a bicycle here for my son and they were very helpful in helping me pick out the right bike. Also took my bicycle here for repair (replace 2 tires, and fix a sticky shifter) and they did a great job for a fair price.

I stopped by to get a few things adjusted on my bike. They staff was very helpful and friendly. They got me taken care of very quickly, their pricing was fair, the location was super convenient.Couldnt ask for more.

Poor service, yesterday I got flate tire they says, will take two weeks for repair😧

I commute rain or shine 5 days a week, sold the second car to eliminate excuses. My wife uses our only car to go to work. My commute is just shy of 40 miles if I go in the direct way. Im hard on my bike as Im north of 260 pounds and carry about a 15 pound sack on the bike. In the last 2.5 years, I destroyed 4 different back wheels, some in as little as a couple of weeks. Robert at the shop set me up with a 36 spoke velocity rim, this wheel has stayed true, no more broken spokes, no more cracked rims.Also Ive broken 4 different sets of pedals, 3 of them the pedal ripped off the spindle. Today on my commute I broke my right pedal, so I went to the shop to purchase a set of pedals (Candy 7), they replaced my pedals with the new ones and also tightened the front barring for no charge.I would highly recommend this shop over others.

We had an excellent experience here at Rock N’Road Cyclery! We went to Jax’s on Alicia and they wanted to replace our whole wheel instead of just the cassette. We decided try another place and ended up here. They replaced the cassette and they replaced the cassette and got it done in 10 minutes for only $25. Thank you Sammy and John!

Picked up my bike and it was covered in grease marks. I am so disappointed in my first experience at this place. These were not small marks that are understandable, but noticeable dark grease smudges and hand prints. I am not even crazy about keeping it that clean, but this was just downright disrespectful. Makes me question how they care for the bikes behind the scenes.Ive had my bike serviced at other bike shops and never had this happen before. Took it home and had to spend a good amount of time cleaning the entire thing... I could not believe how many places they managed to smear grease on the frame and seat.Not to mention I never got a call or anything letting me know when the bike was ready to be picked up. Waited 2 weeks and no one ever called. Not going back, theres too many other places in this area that actually earn the business.

At 65 you can imagine I have visited a lot of bike shops. Since I came upon Rock N Road in L.N. I dont bother with any other. You gotta love a business that remembers your name and treats you like family. Robert, Nikki and all are great, and go the extra mile for you.

Just happened to run into the bad reviews here which somehow were deemed most helpful and felt I needed to add my experience to the mix. Been to this shop probably 12 times over the last three years, maybe more, and have interacted with most of the staff, including the techs back in the shop - All of them have been helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous at every visit. Honestly I cant say this about many stores - cycling shops or otherwise.

I just bought a specialized crosstrail sport bike from RSM store and being a novice rider, I didnt know much about bikes, riding and equipment. After calling the Laguna Niguel store, I spoke to Max and he was the most helpful and patient salesperson I have come across in years. I could tell from his friendly demeanor that he truly loves his job. I decided to purchase my Thule bike rack from him and my lights and other accessories through him. He even helped me assemble and install the bike rack on my car and recommended what I needed to have to really enjoy riding. I am writing this review for all the people who need guidance or help in their decision making, like I did. Go out of your way to visit Max at their Laguna Niguel shop. He is an asset to Rock N Road Cyclery and has the perfect balance if knowledge, passion and patience that clients want and need. Well done Max! I appreciate you!

Road down from Costa mesa . Got a flat. I happened to be by rock n roll cycle. Was a lil irritated cause of flat . Steven attended me and was composed. So i purchased a patch kit. I couldnt fix bike. Steven ended up finding the problem on the rim, fix it, put it all back together and hooked it up with a innertube. Shook his hand and told him Im a customer for life. Good man. Brought my specialized mountain bike in for service and was told it would be 2 weeks. 8 weeks later still no mountain bike.! They have completely dropped the ball and can’t find it. I’ve purchased 3 bikes for them. No more .

One week to replace a spoke and true wheel is not acceptable. At one time they used to have loaner wheels .I asked for a favor to see if the wheel could be repairedin 4 or 5 days rather than one week but to no avail.Oh well all good things come to an end.

Not a single employee acknowledged me. So I left after browsing with 3 thousand dollars to spend on a new bicycle.

All they had to do was change my rear tube thwy ziptied my power cords to my electric motor wayy to tight did not pump my tires up equally very inadequate tire inflation went to leave my chain was not on my seat post was all the way up and they ised my battery up dueing their bullshit test drive.
