I have been a customer for over 15 years or so, for the most recent transaction they were able to find me a direct replacement for several of my battery needs. Not always the best price but very fair and competitive and so far they have had what I needed in stock.

Batteries Plus in Lake Forest has a selection of batteries not found anywhere else on the West Coast. The management is extremely helpful and friendly. I was 25 minutes after closing on my way from quite some distance for a new AGM car battery. The manager stayed waiting for me to get there to pick up my battery and still offered to help me change it after the store had been long closed. It is so rare to find a store that is willing to wait for you, let alone not closing the doors on you 5 minutes before closing.

Ease of pick up of my order and placing my order, once Id found what I needed on the website. Locations staff were great, helpful and friendly. One star off because the website was a bit of a pain to use for what I needed and had to go back to Google to find the one I needed.

My experience with Batteries Plus was great in that I was able to order online and pick up locally. I thought the UPS batteries I was looking for could only be purchased online by some obscure website with no physical location nearby but the assurance of having a storefront to handle any defective batteries (which often happen with the nature of those products) is comforting. The staff was nice and happy to help me. I will definitely come back again for future battery needs.

Ordering on line was easy and I selected battery for my car model based on info I had.So, ordering process would get 5 stars.However, I waited about 4 hours after placing an order for store confirmation and since store has not acknowledged the battery availability/readiness (it was stated that I need to wait for store confirmation) – I called the store and confirmed that battery is ready.When I came to pickup, Lady at the store told me that per BMW requirement this battery must be registered upon installation otherwise it will fail within a year . I said that I am fully aware of this and I will register this battery.However, I was told that since store no longer offers battery registration for BMW, I have to go to a dealer or BMW shop to register this battery and their documented registration will be required to keep the battery manuf warranty.I stated that I have a “Carly” device - with battery coding/registration capability which is very popular and performance proven within BMW owners community and I use it for BMW repairs and maintenance. So, I will register battery myself though I am not sure what kind of verification /documentation I can provide to satisfy their needs?Lady insisted that registration needs to be documented but did not suggest what documentation will be sufficient in my case. Warranty card was not filled at the store so I am not sure if I purchased this battery with or w/o warranty?. (I can drive to the store and register this battery again on their parking lot if this is what store needs to verify registration )Of course I registered this battery immediately upon installation but based on store discussion, I am not sure if this battery warranty will be honored by the store and this is disappointing.I will post my experience and concerns on BMW boards so members are aware about my experience before they select Batteries Plus as source for their battery replacement.So, my rating would be 4 stars for ordering process ( no response from store) and official battery registration documentation requirement while not providing this service (devices to do it are not expensive) to keep warranty gets only 1 star.That is why overall rating is 2 stars only.

On September 14th, 2019, I went in to Batteries Plus on El Toro Rd., Lake Forest, CA. as my warning light on my BMW 528i had come on weeks prior indicating Battery Discharging While Stopped. The salesman, (who presented himself as owner said needed replacing). I spent $262.65 on battery. After installed, he indicated battery had to be registered with BMW, or wouldnt work properly. He told me he needed to purchase device that would facilitate, and would call me in 2 weeks to fix problem. No one called, so I called, and never got a return call. I went in store today, and they are washing hands of matter. I have useless battery in my car. ECO Boost doest work, and several other software problems which can destroy my computer. I highly recommend you dont patronize.

Excellent service!! I purchased a replacement LG battery online and picked it up that same day. I wasnt sure if it would solve my issue so the associate let me open up the package and test it in store. It didnt solve my issue so they immediately processed my refund. Ill definitely be coming back for my battery purchase. Highly recommended.

Place to find unusual battery sizes for computer and vehicles and cell phones

Lets just say I had a terrible experience at Batteries Plus Bulbs. Your employee Denny displayed the most insulting customer service Ive ever seen. Not only was I talking to another employee, he entered our conversation yelling over my voice and telling me Im ignorant. if I didnt already pay the $200 I wouldve taken my purchase elsewhere. its a shame that employee represents your company, Disgusted by the customer service

Super friendly, extremely helpful. I had an old car clicker that wasnt working and I wasnt sure if it was a battery issue or a circuit board issue. They set me up with the right batteries, tested it in store to make sure it was sending a charge and told me I could return the batteries if it still wasnt working. Clickers working great!

Outstanding! A 10. I had the battery on my 2013 Volvo XC60 replaced. The B+ website was quick and easy to navigate. I fond the right batter for my car in minutes, and bought it. I picked it up and a technician had it replaced free, again, in just minutes. Totally painless and I saved over $100 on what I wouldve had to pay to the Volvo dealer service.

What a selection of bulbs and batteries! If they dont have the exact battery you are looking for.. They can find it! Plus auto batteries are priced very fairly with great warranties.

Always good service and have what I want however every time I ask them if battery was charged first they say yes and when I get home and put it on my motorcycle Battery Tender it always needs anywhere from 1/2 hr to couple of hrs to fully charge. Most batteries are supposed to be charged to max before initial usage so I suggest doing this whether the guy says its charged or not.

Complete waste of time. Called about a battery and they confirmed it was a FREE install. I purchased showed up and they said its a $30 install. I asked why and they said the car has a computer so its a non standard car?? The car is a 2010 and ironically they installed the previous battery in the SAME car for free, but now its $30 because it will take an hour.. Manny Moe and jack did it for FREE and it took 10 minutes!

I needed a battery for a cell phone which the manufacturer no longer sells direct. I found a duracell equivalent at B&B+. It was a little more pricey, but I could order it and have it waiting for me when I arrived and saved 10% by ordering online and picking it up. I stopped in, paid and left in no time flat. Would recommend this store to others!

Recieved excellent help today from We Fix It. The phone repair service is in the Batts n Bulbs store. Locate it parking lot side sandwiched between T-Mobile and Chipotle. At first I was a bit iffy, one person when I called was only mildly helpful and took some prompting to offer info. TIP *** I learned that online appointments could be made. I suggest dont nag them but if you are available early Id call to let them know you can fill a earlier cancellation slot if it comes up. I recieved a small discount for making the online appt. I suggest calling with your PH make/model/carrier and double check for parts in stock. FYI, I was lucky they had a part they dont stock as much. Tech for check-in was super helpful. Checked my PH out, besides my request to fix (cracked screen n more). Then we discussed repair and gave me a written estimate. I did more than one part repair so also saved a bit on parts/labor. The tech was honest and gave me a basic game plan for my PH too. I thought that was kind and really above the repair service. My PH was fixed within the promised time. Fit and finish after repair are awesome, I recommend their work. Tight seams, but I was warned after repair the waterproof ability is really not guaranteed. Makes sense they have to open, so deals arent as tight. We Fix It is a great place to breathe a bit more life into a slightly older PH, if you arent in a trade-in situation. Thanks Mr. T! Oh, Ill qualify and say Ive done tech work, but not PH, these ppl are legit. They had the price, the tools and training to fix as advertised.

Bought my Energizer brand UPS battery online and picked it up when the store opens. Quick and easy and the price is competitive to other sources like Amazon or eBay or some manufacturers own site.

Went to this place to this place after SquareTrade sent me to get my phone repaired. The slowest service I have ever received. When I went initially to drop off the phone there were four people waiting in line and there was only one sales associate there. No sense of urgency. Next day I go to pick my phone up and once again theres a line. I can clearly hear other associates in the back and no one came out to see if anyone needed help. To top it all off according to SquareTrade they apparently should have never touched my phone since it had a bent frame. They fixed my cracked screen, but left a huge gap between the screen and back. The phone also kept restarting. If SquareTrade sends you here DO NOT go. If you are going for any sort of repair DO NOT go.

I walked out. No hint of customer service here. After making an on line appointment for $10 off of service, and then standing around waiting for him to get to me when I was the only one in the store, I got a blank stare from the man behind the counter when I told him I was there to get my phone repaired. I had to ask him if I was in the right place! Then he told me Id have to take it to the other store because the service guy wasnt there. Whats the point of making an appointment? They dont want any business there.
