We decided to head out for a mid week bite to eat. When we arrived the restaurant was fairly full and the bar area had a good few people in it which was also a good sign.The staff were very nice and were also very quick.I ordered spicy chicken wings to start. At first the spiciness would knock you off your seat but then it calms down, the wings were extremely good.I ordered the valley inn burger with chips for the mains, it was just OK, a little burnt and a little bland but the chips were good.I would go back just for the wings alone!

We had our little girls first communion meal here today, and I cant fault one single thing, the food was fabulous and the staff cant do enough for you. We were really happy with our choice to have our girls special day here, we had 28 family members with us and everyone complimented the food and staff. Would highly recommend 👌
Really surprised. Great food and staff were great. 6 people starters and main courses, which included the nicest sirloin steak in have had in a long time in a restaurant, drinks 3 desserts and Irish coffees £210 including tip.

Went for breakfast, food was good I usually like the Valley Inn. However I really feel I need to write this review so the way we were treated wont be done to others.We phoned in advance to ask are you serving outside and we were told yes. When we arrived the first question shouted at us in front of all other customers was are you vaccinated. Not do you want to sit outside or inside? We wanted outside so there was zero reason for you to ask this question!! Weather we are or are not is not the point its your way of handling this very delicate issue. You can hide behind the governments rules, but the government didnt ask uses to harass customers like that.There was 5 mistakes on the order for 5 people.We went to pay and again were asked are you not vaccinated. Why would you ask a question like this after we have being served. Very disappointing and discrimination. And dont blame the government!We had a booking for Wednesday evening for 5 people which needless to say we have now cancelled. Over the years we have spent alot of money with uses we wont be spending anymore. But off course you can hide behind the government.

The owner is very rudeHe has no people skills what so everWe were there one evening outside in the marquee. We felt very cold I might as Well be in my back garden, I had to leave my jacket on the owner put us at opening of the marquee when there were other tables inside closed in....so I approach the owner and ask him could I move to one of the table further in we are freezing at the opening of your marquee .....he said no they are all sold I thought was joking at the start, so I said it to him again and owner said..... WHAT DID I SAY TO YOU NO THEY ARE ALL SOLD..... left me standing there in front of other customers that could hear our conversation he wasnt being quiet about it...Now we were there for about 40mins myself and my partner we werent drinking as we had the car and as we left... those tables were still vacant very poor management on his behalf wont be back and I will be telling everyone I know same to bypass this place.
Five ppl for food and drinkStarters mains dessert and drinks all meals came together absolutely beautiful. First class service and the cleanest place we have been in in a very long time.we will be back

Got take-away dinner on Easter Monday for the family. Great food, very reasonably priced and very friendly staff. Hopefully go for a proper sit-in meal before too long but definitely get take-away again.

Myself and wifeys first meal out in months and we were really looking forward to it.Had a breakfast here around Christmas time and it was absolutely gorgeous. Today I was shocked.....I ordered the Carbonara and the Knorr Carbonara packs are 10 times better, which says a lot! Almost €18 for a substandard dish is not good enough......AVOID THE CARBONARA AT ALL COSTS!! Staff informed and no discount on the bill.

I had the 12oz fillet steak and it was absolutely perfect. A lovely browned seared outside, bristling with flavour, and a tender soft flavour inside. I went for rare and was not disappointed. Lovely chips and mash potatoes too.

Lovely lunch, had the specials today, 21euro for homemade cottage pie served with man sized spuds and veg and lightly breaded plaice with chips (hot and crisp) and a lovely fresh chopped side salad. Sat by the fire, really homely. Friendly staff. Good parking.

Very nice food. Service between courses is very slow. Needs to be quicker as people who dont have starters are waiting nearly an hour. But overall very nice food.
