We originally purchased a used Dixie Twister that was made in China from a carnival but did not receive any information on how to operate it or set it up. When we called Fun Attractions they confirmed they made it in their chinese factory and were happy to help us. The lady on the phone had the owner call us back and he walked us through the set up and sent us a manual for the ride. We were so impressed we decided to make our inflatable purchase through them. I wish more companies would be like this.
DO NOT buy anything form this company!! They are SCAM artists. We bought custom 8ft aluminum fencing from them in October 2015 for a mechanical ride that was to be made using rounded edges (not sharp square) on all sections of the fencing and it was to be shipped to Florida for our annual Trade Show in November 2015. We arrived at the trade show to find out it was not the custom order we placed (there were different sections of fence 7ft, 7.5ft and no 8ft sections) so we declined to take it with us. Teresa their sales representative apologized profusely and said that she would call the warehouse and have them start making the correct pieces and ship to us at no charge. We received the shipment in December and the fencing failed inspection by our state inspector for not having rounded edges and the latches on the gates posed a pinching hazard. We called and immediately told the manager Harry that the fencing and gates were not what we ordered and they sent a call tag to have it picked up. The pieces were returned to them and now they are refusing to refund the amount paid for the fencing. The owner is in China and his 80+yr old father is trying to run the business while he is gone. He claims that the fencing is just fine even after speaking to our inspector directly. Take your business elsewhere. They have had several complaints regarding their rides too, enough that their merchant processor has cancelled their account. This information was provided by the owners father Harold. Crazy !! Take your business elsewhere.
This company sold me defective and non-working Bumper Cars. The day I received the shipment of 4 cars and hooked up the batteries, We tested them and 2 of them had pedals that didnt work. The 3rd one fried as soon as we hooked up the battery. The 4th one, that seemed to be the only working one, ran for a little less than 8 minutes and then died out using a battery that they recommended. When I brought it to their attention, they refused to send me new pedals even though I offered to pay for an electrician to install them. I ended up hiring an electrician anyway and he used a medal button as a pedal all because Action Rides/Fun Attractions didnt want to do good on their end and send me new working pedals. At our first event with only 3 cars working now 2 of the cars started burning wires on the bottom within 5 minutes. We were able to save one but the other one was shot. Found out later through the electrician that Action Rides/Fun Attractions sold them to me with exposed wires on the bottom of the cars.At our second event with only 2 cars working now, one gave out in less than 8 minutes and the other one wouldnt turn on at all, learned later that the power control box gave out. After fighting with Action Rides/Fun Attractions for over a month, they only agreed to replace the power control box so I sent them mine as they requested and they sent me another one. But guess what? That one didnt work either. When I brought up to Steve the owners attention, he pretty much called me a liar. They have refused to send me any parts and replacements or give me a refund. They said I could hire a electrician to fix everything and they would help him through live chat...really??? How about offering to pay him or pay at least half??They also offered to repair them but I would have to pay the full shipping of $1,500 to ship them to them and another $1,500 to have them shipped back to me. Since I dont trust their poor quality Chinese cars, I declined the offer. But I told them I would consider trading them in for another ride and thats when they said that I would only be able to trade them in for inflatables...(I already have over 50 of them). Then I offered to pay shipping to them if they gave me a refund, and that they could even take another $1,000 out of that, they wouldnt even do that.I believe that based on their un-willingness to resolve the situation fairly and without costing them a dime for their failed equipment, this was done intentional. They knew that they were selling me defective cars and that their wouldnt be a whole lot I can do since Im many states away. I feel like I was scammed by this company. To add the icing on the cake, after I posted a poor review about them on another site, one of their representatives wrote a nasty review about my local rental company and she is many many states away from me. This Company not only scams but they also retaliate when you call them out on it......So Event and Party Rental Companies as well as Equipment Finance Companies......BEWARE....save yourself the nightmare...do not do business with this company or finance any equipment for anybody who tries to use them. They sell defective equipment that I believe they know dont work and this is based on my experience and other reviews Ive seen.
Best customer Service around!!! Steven is the best!
