I mail ordered the little steamer for under USD 40.It arrived in time and when I unpacked it I noticed a lot of attachments that were very hard to attach. I added the water and plugged it in. It worked fine but had to refill twice. When I had to refill yet once again. No indicator light. NOTHING. Dead.I waited a couple of hours. Still dead. Same next day. What a waste of money. I wrote to them NO REPLY. FiguresBEWARE OF THIS COMPANY before you purchase

Have been in here twice with two very different issues. A light cover for a bathroom vent fan and a need for a capacitor for a home AC unit. Both time I was greeted warmly and given all the help I needed. For the capacitor, I was even given help on reinstallation as it was different than the universal unit being replaced. Ordered a dryer lint screen replacement. It was delivered and was broken. It was still good in the sealed plastic bag. It appears as due to length of lint screen, 2 boxes had to be used, but I suspect person who shipped order tried to jam the lint screen into 1 box, thus breaking the handle off. So I contacted McCombs via email, they resend another dryer lint screen in perfect working order and a prepaid shipping label to return broken item. Overall, I’m happy with product and the quick response to situation. I’d shop here again and I recommend this company.

Their website states one of our knowledgeable and courteous technicians the technician I spoke to was anything but courteous. He was immediately belligerent when I inquired about my order. He refused to put me in touch with the guy that handles our shipping or to ensure said guy would call me back. I cannot speak to their in person interactions, however online ordering/customer service is some of, if not the worst Ive ever received.

I am a single mom and my kids broke the clips that hold the door shelves onto the fridge door. I needed four replacement clips, and Maytag wanted $17 per clip. I found the exact same clips from McCombs Supply Co. for less than half the cost. The shipping was also less expensive. The clips are a perfect fit and I was able to afford fixing my fridge at a fraction of the cost. With only one household income, I appreciated the top quality service and affordability.

This place is the best. The gentlemen who took care me was awesome. He tested 2 switches for me and saved me the cost of replacing both switches. He then explained some other things that may be the issue. I got home and checked all the wiring and put it back together and it works. Thank you for saving me $$ and educating me about dryers.

I ordered and received a NuTone ceiling fan. The part in the box was the wrong part. The part number on the side of the box is correct for the part in the box. However neither is even close to the correct number which is listed on my confirmed order. Clearly someone in shipping has messed up. After repeated calls over two days I was able to finally get someone to answer the phone at McCombs, but they insisted I had to email them photos of the wrong part and the label on the side of the box before they could arrange for me to get the correct part. I did that. I have not received a response to my email. Now when I call them at their main number I get a recording saying to call back during normal work hours. Do they never work??? I have been calling in the middle of the day for three days and no one is answering the phone! Ill give them to the end of the day today before I have my credit card company reverse the charge of $90.60.

I do not advise anyone to order from this company! I paid for 2 day shipping for a part for a job I needed immediately. After paying for the part and the shipping it did not get shipped out until 2 days later which was the day I was supposed to receive it. I get an excuse of it not shipping because of a snow storm and fed ex didnt pick it up. It would have been easy for them to take it to fed ex and ship it if fed ex wasnt picking up packages. I now have to do a 100 dollar repair for free because the part did not arrive for 4 days. When asked to be refunded my 8 dollars for the 2 day delivery I was told it wasnt there problem! Rest assured I will pay double for a part before I purchase from this company again!!!!! I live in Colorado so the snow delay excuses dont work with me.

This place was an absolute disaster. I order stove knobs which arrived over a month after the order shipped! I ended up having to get them from somewhere else once they were lost in the mail and couldnt tell me where they were. Then they magically appeared after 4 weeks! I asked for refunds all along the way. They promised refunds which never materialized well refund part of it right now (they didnt) and kicked the can- wait until you receive it then we will refund wait until we see it is in the mail return wait until we receive it, they wouldnt even refund the SHIPPING!!! Buyer beware.... youll never get your product and youll never get your refund. They are horrendous to deal with. The only one that was halfway reasonable was Kate. Good luck but Id save yourself the money and hassle and shop somewhere else!!!Edit: I finally got my refund. But not easy by any stretch.

Received a replacement ice maker quickly. After 2 weeks it stopped working. I requested a replacement only to find I need to pay for return shipping and received no information on a replacement. Seller did not respond to my request for a shipping label. I try to buy local or small businesses even if they are not in my area but service like this keeps sending me back to Amazon. We ordered a gas valve, and when my husband went to put it in, realized that it was faulty. He spoke to someone from the company that manufactured the valve and they agreed that it was a faulty valve and should be returned to the place we purchased it from for a replacement. Mccomb’s claims that since we “installed” it, they can’t take it back, and have offered no assistance in getting the valve replaced. It’s not our fault it was defective from the start, but they refuse to make it right. Poor customer service!

Pricing is good, but theyve wasted my time because they couldnt bother to check that a part wasnt broken before shipping it AND failed to ensure it was packaged properly to prevent damage during shipping.Our oven broke (bad oven igniter). A simple swap out of a part. McCombs had the best price and so I bought it from them via Google Express. The part comes and I open it to find the glow element is shattered into no less than 3 pieces. Its free-floating around in some lame black fabric-foam that youd use to insulate around a window AC unit. Knowing the glow element is ceramic of some type and fragile, why wouldnt you wrap this in bubble wrap before placing into the recessed foam packaging area which is clearly large enough for the part to flop around in during shipping.Im very flustered because weve had a non-working oven for over a week now because they couldnt be bothered to take care in the shipping process. When I went to re-order, Google Express showed the part not able to be ordered (no details). Going directly to McCombs website I find that its out of stock but back in stock soon! What? Did they ship me the last piece of junk?Fortunately Google Express made it right by crediting the entire purchase amount and giving a $10 were sorry you experienced this voucher on top of it. Now THATs customer service. They seemingly compensated me for my wasted time and owned up to it - though it wasnt THEIR mistake.McCombs - you should be lucky youre partnering with such a wonderful customer oriented force in Google. I re-ordered the part directly from your website (mostly because Google Express requires orders of $35+ for shipping to be free, though McCombs still levies a $5 ship charge - Im ok with this). In my order I SPECIFICALLY ASKED that they TRIPLE CHECK that the part theyre sending me IS NOT BROKEN and wrap it IN BUBBLE WRAP before placing it back into the foam shipping material thats in side its box.Ill update this review after I receive the new one in a few days [hopefully a few days].

Ordered 2 flame sensors Dec 15th paid as a guest. house needs heat. snowstorm in pa on 16th disrupts shipping. December 17th i have no e mail confirming purchase of furnace parts (one is a spare). Called no phones . sent multiple e mails. no response. set up account on Mccombs to see if it would come up. nothing. With shipping these 2 parts were $127.21. on the 16th in spite of storm my money was taken how about a response im cold getting colder Minnesota winters get like that.I feel like im slipping through a crack here people.

This is an excellent online store. The prices are very fair. Quick responses to email and fast shipping. It even arrived sooner than the tracking info stated. I had attempted to order this from another vendor on amazon but never received the item. I gave up and ordered from McCombs. They really came through for me. The only reason why I did not give 5 stars is because the construction of the lint screen is not the same as the OEM.

Ordered a water valve and was sent some wires. The part number I ordered had a 14 in it and a 41 was sent. Honest mistake but you cant get ahold of anyone to rectify the issue. Probably great to do business with if they dont screw something up.

Quick responses to inquiries to verify correct part. Quick shipment and careful packing of partially delicate part. Low prices compared to other places that like to overcharge more industry standard prices (which can be 3 to 5 times as much from what Ive seen). At a glance to a handful of reviews Im seeing some giving low ratings and complaining about ordering wrong parts. This is truly more of Google search problems often giving faulty or off results. This is fairly typical most times when searching for most things. You can easily get results for only part of what youre searching for and is far from exact. Being that appliance parts can be numerous and look fairly similar with very subtle variations yet only work in certain models/brands, you have to always read a little beyond what Google shows you and never assume youre getting perfect search results all the time. People with no patience or diligence to read details just lash out at others for their own mistakes.

Warning to all international customers - on top of the already high shipping costs McComb charges youll likely have to pay high fees, duties & taxes from FedEx (which they dont warn you about). I recieved a surprising invoice weeks later for $45 CDN when the replacement knobs for my gas stove cost $100 CDN plus over $30 shipping (which I already thought was crazy high shipping costs considering how small the items were).Great that they have items that are hard to find, but you certainly are paying for them and then some.Just be mindful of hidden costs.

Ordered 2 parts which I was told would be in within a week, took the cash from my account immediately.I have called multiple times over the last 2 weeks and was told it would be here soon.Today 3 weeks later and I call and talk to Mr Lopez, he tells me it normally takes 3 weeks to get the part.He offers to refund my money but I would waste 3 weeks which I cant get back waiting for element. I asked if there is anyway to contact GE and find out delay or expedite my order, he said no. Whoever I ordered the part from should have told me that.In my opinion after this order a total lack of empathy for people who order from them. I will not order again, and would suggest ordering parts from other place, the parts I ordered are in stock from several other suppliers.I had Mr Lopez cancel my order but have no idea when I will get it, additionally they in essence used my 200 dollars for 3 weeks, and I dont get interest, or even a sorry.I bought both parts for way less and they will be delivered in 2 days. My suggestion would be to buy elsewhere!

Worse customer service ever? If i could give no stars, I would. When searching for a replacement part for my dryer, I entered in the brand and model number. It lead me directly to their website with a replacement part. Well come to find out after ordering the part, it was incorrect. The company offers returns, but buyer has to pay for shipping. No thanks. When contacting the company regarding the situation, a rep tells me in an email that they are a big part supplier to the consumer and work closely with Google. I told the rep that this was very misleading and it lead to a part that was incorrect. In another email, the rep told me to discuss it with Google why it showed the incorrect part. Why should it be my job to do so? Anyhow, I am done communicating with this company, its not getting resolved. This would be the last time i will be ordering anything from them.

I received an invitation to post a review... guess it didnt make the cut because its not here so Ill post it again.... I purchased a broiler element for a Frigidaire stove. Installed exactly. Turned it on and it started to heat. I was super excited. Let the smoke burn off, turned broiler off. The following morning my moms caregiver came in to make breakfast, turned on the broiler and POOF followed by a SNAP..... and the poor little thing has never heated again ☹☹☹☹☹
