This is a hidden gem! The prices vary widely because there are a variety of sellers under one roof, but if you spend even a little time looking around you can find some real prizes. The staff/owners are really nice. I had so much fun poking around all the booths and came away with some real finds. Cant wait to go back with my mom!

I had such a fun time shopping at The Mercantile today! The staff is so friendly and we had a nice chat about artwork; photography and paintings.The store is a relaxing place to walk around and shop for interesting and unusual items. There is a lot of glassware and dishes up front, and the inventory all around the store is always changing. I have found nice pieces of jewelry for myself that I would never have found in a department store. And I have a quaint, country china hutch in my dining room that I found there one day and just *had to have*! LOL

Ive gone in a couple of times and I wouldnt really say its an Antique store. Its more vintage overpriced poor quality stuff. Today I was the only one in the store? Its mostly a bunch of old glass and dinner ware. Nothing of any real value or even interesting. I asked if they would buy actual antiques or something of real value. The response was, This is the Antelope Valley, no one is going to buy that here. Pretty much sums it up. Its like a Goodwill or Salvation Army store. Look at their pictures, their prized pictures are home made items? Do you know what an Antique is?
