Horizon Comics is one of the most interesting places in the Antelope Valley. When you walk in the doors you are transported to a wonderful world of comics as well as pop and geek culture. The owners are so nice, helpful, and knowledge about what they have in their shop. This huge shop is full of art, comics, figures, toys and so much more. This shop will have something for everyone. If you live in the AV or from out of town Horizon Comics is a must stop visit.

We have only like two comic shops in town and while I dont feel put off by most comic shops myself . Some may find them less than inviting due to like the normally cramped lay out of most comic shops. Thats not an issue you would have here, the layout of the store is fairly intuitive and easy to figure out where to find what you are looking for. And if you do have trouble the staff are always right there and come off very helpful and nice.

This store has TERRIBLE hours. They are a receiving location for WISH shipments BUT they are NEVER open and they do not call you to tell you your items are available. I showed up 3 different times and the store was closed, I traveled for 3 days after attempting to pick up my items.. which NO ONE bothered to tell me my items had arrived and they had returned them.. but I LOST 30% of the refund bc I didn’t pick them up.. and that’s absolutely NOT fair since they aren’t ever open.. I was actually excited to go into the store and purchase somethings when we picked up the anime hoodies but I will NEVER be shopping there now that I’ve had this customer service experience

Its always a pleasure to come here. Ive shopped here off and on for the past few years and its always a pleasure. The employees are very kind and welcoming. If youre new to comic books; dont be afraid to ask them for recommendations because they are more than willing to help you out. Also, it seems like theyre constantly growing with a wider selection of comics and just more space in their store as a whole. I can definitely see a post-covid future where people are able to buy their comics and chill here for bit.

OMG!! This place is freaking amazing. My son asked if we could stop and check out the new place as its been awhile and heck he had done some chores so why not? I think I loved the place just as much as he did, The owner Richard and his wife Raquel made us feel welcome. I found comics i remember reading as a kid. I think we spent about 2 hours in total just talking about comics and how hard some are to find. Richard and Raquel have defiantly given this place a breath of fresh life. We will be regular customers now and Looks like Ill be dipping back into the collectors world. Thanks for the Hospitality guys!

Terrible experience. My brother ordered and paid for Juggernaut #1 Dx 1st edition from them. He lives in Sweden and asked me to pick it up for him. I called to verify it was ready for pick up and the associate confirmed. She called me back a few minutes later and notified me that “there was an error on their end and no longer had 1st prints”. She offered the 1st variant or the 2nd print. Waste of time and money. I recommend sticking to Bases Cards and Comics.

Wow, what a hidden Gem in Lancaster, being an avid DC comics collector I always get alerts about nearby comic book stores. I never would of imagined I would find one of the coolest comic book stores in Lancaster of all places. Google said it was bye appointment only and they were open, quick phone call and 15 mins later I was knee deep in some of the best books and collectibles I have seen in 20 years. The owner and his wife are awesome, I left there with a couple new pieces for my collection. If your ever in lancaster and your looking for one of the best comic book stores in the antelope Valley stop bye Horizon and have a look for your self.

I love this comic shop! Horizons is great, the owner Roger is amazing, hes super knowledgeable and also really personable. Its hard not to get stuck there for longer than you expected caught up in great conversation. Theyve expanded over the years and I love to see this little shop grow.

The customer service is superb, and I dont need any other reason to go back to a store except to feel like the owners are really incredibly friendly and make you feel like youre welcome. I really want to support that kind of business. It makes a huge difference when Im choosing a place to shop. Ive recommended this place to my friends and I have ordered comics for my daughter. They have a nice array of memorabilia and action figures too if youre in to collecting those or youre looking for a gift for a fan.

This was my first time there. I was looking for Star Wars comics for my son and had no clue where to start. The guys there were a great help. I even walked away with some Batman comics for myself. Really cool place.

I would give Horizon Comics more stars if I could. Yeah, its a small shop, but Roger makes the most of his space and if he doesnt have it in stock, hes happy to order it for you. By the second time you come in, he knows your name. Soon after that, hell recognize your voice on the phone. And as a woman, he makes everyone feel welcome and comfortable. This is a great shop that Im happy to visit about once a month and the customers are a great, friendly bunch too.

I love this place. The clerk makes sure to know you by name and does his best to know your preferences so he can tell you about cool stuff coming up. Often enough hell throw discounts your way and is just a cool guy.The new layout is nice and open and easy to browse, and there are a lot of cool collectibles. Defiantly the place to go for comics in the AV.

Hands down the best comic shop for anybody who is looking for weekly comics, trade paperbacks or something a little different. Roger and Teresa are kind and super helpful while being knowledgeable about the products youre looking for.
