We come to Lancaster at least once a month from NJ and never fail to stop in this wonderful and inviting store. The staff is excellent, the owner is super nice, and they (unlike a lot of other stores) still have a COMIC BOOK vibe to go along with the pop culture stuff youd expect. This is one of the very best comic shops on the East Coast!

Amazing store, there is mainly a large marvel legends collection and usually up to date with the waves, there are also many model kits that can be found here too. There is a decent amount of star wars both vintage collection and black series. Please stock clone troopers and gi joe classified, I love clones

One of the best stores I have seen in the entire U.S.! Been away for a bunch of months, and still had to wait to get back here to find some things I have been searching for. Fantastic place!

I’m not sure if I caught the clerk on a bad day but he was rude when I asked him a question about his stock, which was otherwise diverse. Great way to talk to a first time and last time visitor.

The comic store is one of the best places for all things Nerd!! They have a huge selection of comics including independent titles and publishers. They have games, cards and more. They also will pick the titles you are looking for when you become a member and that gives you 10% off too. Make this shop a place for your needs.

A great shop filled with tons of back issues at great prices and a friendly staff. Lots of toys and supplies. I wish I didnt live over an hour away.

Boxes on shelves of comics, action figures, models, paints, toys, and more. Can seem a tad cluttered but that kinda goes with the territory of a comic/hobby store, especially one packed into a smaller shop, so I dont mind it. Guy behind the counter is friendly, helpful, and knows his stuff; hes not just a register jockey.

We dont even live near Lancaster but its our favorite shop! The guys there are so helpful and thoughtful and all around wonderful. Such a great atmosphere for a shop and very welcoming to anyone, regardless of comic knowledge. Highly recommend.

We go here when my parents bring my niece and one or both of my nephews into town. It makes a nice getaway, and my Dad usually gets me a comic or two. Definitely my favorite outing, cause if the kids pick a comic Im also into we can nerd out at dinner.

I may be biased as this is my local comic shop, but the more comic shops I visit, the more I appreciate The Comic Store. Great selection of comics, tons of games and a plethora of toys & collectibles throughout. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Best of all, being a subscriber, my bin often has a recommended hidden gem Ive never heard of that is spot on! Wether you live here or you are visiting Lancaster, I highly recommend checking it out.

Great place love going there

I love this place. I try to stop by at least once or twice a week. The staff is super nice and helpful. They even took the time to help me search for a series I was looking for and when they didnt have it in store they took the time to order some issue from there supplier and had them shipped to the store for me. I wouldhighly recommendd this place to anyone who is interested.

This place rocks! They have a Huge selection of comics and merchandise. They also have very unique limited edition items and figures. I was very impressed at the many choices they had. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

The man that runs the store was very friendly. I was able to find a couple of vintage Star Wars comics which is what I usually look for. He did not have an issue I was looking for from Wonder Woman, but he spent a lot of time looking through his boxes and was very helpful to all of the customers. He appears to have a healthy band of regulars. Its a stand-alone brick and mortar store and very much worth the visit. Right across from the train station.

Pretty Good store, was in town today and decided to give this place a try. I got a comic so I couldnt complain. Some prices are a little on the higher side and asking for more expensive comics seemed like a hassle. I didn’t see many key issues on display. Magic the gathering shops are hard to find around this area I noticed so this place was fair. I’d probably go back if I come this way again.

I use to go to this comic book store with my dad when I was young. Now, I get to go with my son. Very fond of this place.

Youre experience at this shop will probably vary based on who is working. I have been here about 5 times now, one guy is very nice and very talkative, the other guy is kinda grumpy and has what seems to be a Rosetta stone Spanish lesson running though the PA system. Although he seems grumpy, when you check out he is actually a really nice guy and quite helpful.The comic selection is really great here. A ton of back issues and basically every new comic you are looking for. They have a massive amount of collectibles, board games, card games, statues and graphic novels.I have always had great customer service here. I just picked up a variant of a comic that came out Wednesday, they held it for me until Thursday evening. I thought this was very nice since they clearly sold any of them that they had on the shelf and probably could have sold this one before I got there, but they really helped me out. I would recommend this store to any nerds, geeks or other human beings that just like fantasy.The prices arent the best but they dont really gouge you either. My girlfriend and I check this store at least once a month because they do a great job of rotating their inventory and getting new products in.

I am a regular at this store. The staff may not be In your face with greetings and sales pitches but they have a great selection of everything in comics and comic related merchandise. Very nice comic book store. I took some friends from Ireland there and they very much enjoyed it, so did I. They have a great variety of everything in the comic book field. An added bonus is they have treats from around the world that is hard to find in the us.

If youre looking for a home comic shop look no more. The staff is always more than willing to help with whatever question you have. I would recommend this store to everyone.

Its always fun to browse their products. They always gave a large variety. I dont think Ive ever walked out without buying at least one thing.

The gentleman who was at the front was nice and answered my questions. Helped me to find comics I was interested in. It was a bit cramped and could be a little awkward and hard to walk around at times. Its worth a stop to look at all the neat things though.

The guys that work there are nice. I have a box through them to get my comics. If you are looking for a great place to get your comics then this is the place. If they dont have it and it is available they will get it for you. If you are a comic book person I would recommend getting a box through them so that your pull list is there waiting for you every week. I have been to a few comic book stores in the area (2 are out of business now) and this is the best comic book store in the area. Go check it out. You will not be disappointed.

I love this store. I take my son every year in the month of December just before Christmas and we are blown away every time. My 4 year old son recently had an interest in the Dice Master game. Now I am using the comic book store as an incentive for his good behavior to collect all the cards and dice. We will be visiting this store more often now.

Was not good experience. Was there to sell collection and was offered very low price. Clerk bought a few after telling me he thinks signature on one wasnt real. He then found same signature. The comic in question was certified and certificate was inside front plastic. Imo he was trying to low-ball me and smile while trying to act helpful.

Fun classic comic store setting. A great mix of back issues as well as the newest issues. Definitely check them out on free comic book day!

Always a fun trip here. From gently used, rare items to Warhammer paints, theyve got it all plus a great sense of humor and knowledgeable staff.

Good selection of back issues, prices can be on the higher side, but they do have many of the current issues you may be looking for.

5 stars for the way they treated my son, he is starting his interests in what books he may want to read, they took time with him and helped him understand all his choices, I’ve been in places where you are treated inferior for not being someone who knows everything, they didn’t make us feel that way, because so, they may have made a new book reader for life that has a place to be loyal to.

I cant speak to the comics they sell, although, from my limited experience, they seem to have a large selection. I shop here mainly for TTRPG accessories--dice, minis, and the like. Despite the focus being comic books, they have a fair amount of things to choose from on the game end of things and the guys working are always friendly and helpful.

The folks there really know there stuff and made even a semi-serious comic book nerd like myself feel welcomed. super-cool shop and my kids and I love getting our comics here!

Been to comic shops from sea to shining sea and this one is in my top 3. Lots of back issues, trades, graphic novels, new stuff and collectibles. Stuff for gamers and card fans as well. But the most important part is it feels like the kind of shop I grew up with in the 80s. Tight fit, long boxes everywhere, kinda dimly lit...not one of those high gloss joints from the 90s. Feels like home.

Whenever Im in Lancaster I stop in to say hi to the friendly folks at The Comic Store. I always walk out with something new. I love their super hero t-shirt section and they have a million action figures.Best comic and trade selection in Lancaster !!!!

Always incredibly friendly staff, I went for the every other Wednesday Magic the Gathering event and have been consistently for years. The gentleman running the event is amazing and always friendly willing to help new players, returning players, and just genuinely seems to enjoy the game and wants it to grow.

Went to the store for the first time today and they have tons of comics and many other things in the store. I entered the store and got a weird look and no hello/greeting of any kind. While I was there I felt awkward, maybe because of how quite it was in the store and nobody was talking. When I asked for something behind the counter the guy was nice then and at check-out. Ill definitely be back though.

I am a novice to comics but this store is very nice. The guy working the store was very friendly, sociable. There is also a lot of collectables here as well. Gundam. DC, Marvel and other figurines. They also had board games, Magic.

This is the only comic book store I will go too. They know me by name and keep a mail box for me of all the comics I buy since I live out of the area. They have a great back stock as well, which for me is a big plus. They have a lot of Card/Gaming supplys but it is a true comic book store.

I was there for Free Comic book Day, both gentleman where very nice and I liked the fact that you played .50¢ per comic after your free one from the ones for free comic day and the money went to the Library system

I go here all the time and love it so much! They even carry Miyazaki stuff sometimes and have tons of Sailor Moon stuff! As a fan of comics they have new and old and everything in between. It would be a shame to miss out!

They have lots of titles old and new at reasonable prices. Something for everyone.
