Good services, nice glass work price are good

Not good. Brought windows sashes in for measurements to order replacement glass due to fogging. Employee was confused about what they were to do when sashes were dropped off. Poor communication between order taker and staff. I got a phone call with pricing and when I asked about if the plastic weather strip was also going to be replaced they said we forgot about that and they werent really sure they could get the material. I gave them the name of the manufacturer of the material and they said. Why dont you order it. I really got the feeling they didnt want the job or know how to replace the glass in the five sashes. Ive used them before over the years without any problems for cutting glass. This project however was definitely not in their wheelhouse. Level of incompetence was scary, so Ive elected to go somewhere else

The nicest people!!! Answered inquiry email within 24 hours, placed my order, they had it ready for pick up the next day!! I had a piece of glass made for a new table and Lynne had it made as soon as they could to protect it from a very messy toddler. So caring!! Highly recommend!

Recently I needed a glass top for a table, call this place and their help and work was super good.They were very patient with me they make sure I give them the correct measurements sinces I wasnt very sure they give me an email and I send them photos and the glass was perfect. I am thoroughly impressed! I had a window break in my basement and brought it in and had it repaired in the same day! I was very concerned because we were leaving the next day on vacation, in the middle of winter. The staff at Lancaster Paint & Glass was polite, responsive, and made me feel like a valued customer. And all of this for an awesome price that was about 20% of getting a contractor to replace my window!

Great price is what originally had me choose this location, but the service that Lynn provided me is what made me come back.She was knowledgeable, asked me good questions and got me a realistic quote and called me to tell me my order was ready, a full 2 days before it was scheduled to be ready.The glass and mirrors are great quality. They use care to wrap up the products as well. I’ll always go back here for my needs!

I had two window panes replaced in double hung windows that fogged up. The people were friendly and the service was quick. Kudos to Lynn who gave me a recommendation to engage the manufacturers for replacements versus sending out for custom made. They did and at no cost! It was a good experience.

I just had Lancaster Paint and Glass out to replace a broken window on the front door of my house. From when they first came out for the estimate, until they came to replace my glass, they were nothing but pleasant. The glass came in sooner than expected and the technician that came was very professional and great to deal with (gave my puppy some head scratches when he ran up to him too). The finished product of the installed glass looked even better than the old window did before it broke. I would definitely work with them again in the future.

KC and the gang at Lancaster Paint and Glass have been awesome to work with. They have replaced 2 of our replacement windows at a fraction of what I had been quoted at other places. They also replaced our back screen door screening with paw proof screen. 3 years later, and it still looks brand new; despite 2 dogs jumping up at it daily.

So friendly and helpful, they cut plexiglass to size for me, while I was there, I learned that they could be helpful in many projects saving money repairing rather than replacing

My first experience with Lancaster Paint & Glass was fantastic. Its easy to understand how they have remained in business for 134 years. They do great work. I called them on May 14th about an older commercial steel and glass door that needed the two panes replaced. They sent a tech out that same day to take a look. They called me the same afternoon, and the quoted price was more than reasonable.. They called me 8 days later (May 22nd) and asked how early we would have someone on site so they could come out and do the repair. The tech arrived promptly and less than 3 hours later, our door glass is like new. Ive worked with several glass companies in the general area over the last 20 years, and less complicated jobs than this one would drag out for a month or longer, and they always acted like they were doing me a favor. I will be calling Lancaster Paint and Glass for all of my future glass needs.

I had an emergency glass break situation in my home and I looked in the Local Yellowbook and called Lancaster Paint and Glass. Their technician arrived within the hour and fixed the issue and cleaned everything up very nicely. I was very pleased with the quality of the work as well as the price.

We recently bought a historic home that we are renovating to be a high end Airbnb rental. The home was previoulsy “flipped” but we are continuing to update and make better prior to renting. I called to inquire about putting glass shower doors around an exsisting brand new built tile shower. When I called, the women that I spoke to stated that she did not usually take orders for showers and that I should email their customer service. She told me to provide the measurements and what fixtures it would need and so I did. I got a snarky, extremely rude email back rattling off a list of items that I didn’t include, instead of politely asking for them as I am not an expert and am a customer. I even mentioned in the email two different numbers to contact me at and included my contractor on the email and stated that he was being included for technical perspective/assistance. I called my contractor after the first email and provided his responses in a subsequent email where I, the customer, even apologize in the email for something I am not even sure what I am apologizing for but clearly the VP of the company felt this was appropriate customer service! I followed up with a call where he was too busy to speak to me and then received another email from him alluding to the fact that I should take my business elsewhere or get him a rendering of the design. All of this happens within about an hour and at no point does the VP just pick up the phone to walk me through what he needs and kindly ask for it, nor does he apologize for his extremely rude behavior. Extremely disappointed and taken back; I have never experienced anything like it and not in a good way. Will be uploading all emails to all reviews as they speak for themselves...

Not happy with this company at all :(Brought measurements in for a piece of glass needed for breakfront top.Was told to make a template. Trip #2 to shop, drop off template. Trip # 3 pick up glass, bring it home, doesnt fit and is then stuck in wall opening.I have to argue on the phone to get the employee, who admits he cut it wrong, to pick up because I cant get it out of the wall opening, it is firmly stuck. He arrives at my home, acts like this is my fault and scratches top of newly refinished breakfront by putting his metal invoice box on top of breakfront. He was very rude.He uses suction paddles to get glass out and now the walls are also scratched.Several days later, Lancaster paint & glass office manager calls me for pick up. I ask if someone can come out with the glass to make sure it fits. This piece of glass is over 30 lbs and I dont want to take the risk of it being wrong again. She is rude and tells me you were lucky we came out the first time.I pick up glass and bring it home. I go to put it on top of the breakfront and because of a very rough unfinished edge where I guess they re-cut it, the glass scratches the top of the break front even worse.I now have to sand and repaint walls and refinish breakfront top.I also paid extra for a sand blasted edge and this front edge looks no different than the other edges.
