Second time using Kern and just as happy as the first. They were able to squeeze this counter top in as ONE PIECE!! The crew worked late into the night to meet their promise. Will be returning to them for all my work!

I had an excellent experience with Kern Marble and Granite, from start to finish. They made a bathroom vanity top with splash guards in a neutral stone I love! Quick turn around on the job and excellent installation. They even cleaned up and made sure it looked acceptable to me. Tina was great to work with too. Would gladly work with them again!

I had the pleasure of using Kerns Granite to update a kitchen and Bathroom. The craftsmanship used by this company was on another level! Jesse came to install the counter top my wife picked out and was blown away by the color and quality of the stone!

I used Kern Marble and Granite to install my master bath quartz. I was impressed that they cut the tub out of one piece of stone. I overlooked the fact that all of the corners on shower curb, and 2 vanities were all different. Some were rounded and some more pointed. The vanity corners were so rounded that there was only 1/4 overhang. Despite all of this I used them again for a rental property and at the same time my personal kitchen.I specifically showed them the corner that I liked in my bathroom and told them I wanted all of the corners on the island to not be rounded, and they MUST all be the same.When they installed the island my face fell. There were 2 rounded corners and 2 large curved edges where the barstools go. That is not what I wanted. They told me to find a piece of granite to match my quartz and they would do the island over because they could not get another slab of my quartz. I spent hundreds of $ in gas and much time driving to Hilliard to look for a piece of granite. I continued to look because I couldnt find anything. I wanted the quartz I had ordered. They insisted they could not get it. I now believe they were just trying to get me to keep the incorrectly made quartz.The long sink counter had no overhang in the corner and the rest of it went from 0 to 1&3/4. They finally told me they found 2 pieces of the quartz. They were going to remake the counters but when they installed them there were 4 different sized overhangs on the island and they used the same sink counter and recut it. The original counter had flaws that I never mentioned because I knew it was going to be replaced. Those same flaws were still there in the same places but now there is a hole in the front of the overhang also. There was still no overhang in the corner. When I called this to their attention they said they had another piece of quartz but it was cut wrong so they used the same one.I finally got online and entered my stone manufacturer and color. It came right up. I called the distributor, in Chicago, which said they had MANY slabs of that stone and that my fabricator probably didnt want to order it. Thats when I told Kern I would not work with them anymore. I cannot work with a company that lies to me for their own welfare. I also cannot have their son in my house again as he is an angry person when things do not go his way.This whole process took 5 months, from 12/31/18, when I paid the deposit, until 5/28/19 when I told Kern I would not work with them anymore since they lied abut not being able to get my quartz. This issue is still not resolved.

The people were very friendly and helpful. I only needed a small piece, but I was treated as if I had a big order. Fine local service and a good selection of granite.
