This is a gold mine. Greatest dealership I’ve done business with. Everyone I talked to was helpful and kind. They don’t beat around the bush, they’re very upfront and honest. Tons of babes on the showroom floor. In service, they give fair pricing and very quality work. Even if you don’t drive a Kia I would recommend coming here for service.

Repeatedly pushed back on when they could complete my cars repairs and even blamed it on an employee going to a funeral. Telling me personal employee issues doesnt fix anything and is inappropriate. Didnt accomplish all of the repairs requested telling me they would do it next time.

I had an appointment for some repairs, and I was really pleased because they slid me in to accommodate my schedule. Saturday morning I dropped my vehicle off for my 10:30, the competence stopped there. I was treated like I was bothering them when I dropped my vehicle off, the gentlemen seemed clueless, I shrugged it off as being new. I was told they closed at 4:00, which was technically true, but they failed to mention the service department closed at 3:00. I went back at 3:30 to see what was going on after no communication throughout the day. I was told they got busy so they decided they were going to do it on Monday. I was never asked or notified of this decision. It would not have worked anyway because my family needed that vehicle on Monday. I was apologized to numerous times and was told the service manager was going to call me, and that never happened either.

Had oil change got home looked over bill said front tires in yellow rear in green. Called to see if tires rotated. 3rd oil change tires never rotated Thought it was part of the package found out have to ask. So drove back got tires rotated another. 16.00 out of my pocket. Guess they want you to wear tires down and expect you will buy new from them dont think so...

It took me two weeks to get up appointment because theyre getting so busy now. However, they got me in on time and out. They did a complete complimentary check of all my fluids as well as an oil change. It was very safe and comfortable in their waiting room. I highly recommend.

I took my vehicle in to have my window fixed on a Friday. It had dropped and the electric control wasnt working. I also asked to check the other three windows to ensure I would not need to return. I got a call that they needed to order a part and it should be done Tuesday. They quoted me just over $500 for the part, labor, an oil change, and a tail light fix. I showed up on Wednesday the next week because it wasnt done Tuesday. I had to wait even though I showed up at the end of the day and confirmed it would be done. When they brought me the invoice, the man who gave it to me seemed apprehensive. He said he didnt know what I was quoted. It was over $600. I was not happy, but needed my vehicle. The person who quoted me was out on vacation. After a couple days, my husband tried to roll down the passenger window and it didnt work. I called and explained I needed it fixed and was told to bring the vehicle in that day. When I showed up, they pointed out the invoice said further diagnosis was needed. What!? No one told me any of this and it wasnt fixed, but I spent a lot of money. They told me I would need to schedule an appointment in about 3 weeks and get another diagnosis. What did I pay for the first time? Why didnt they do a full diagnosis before doing any work? So, now I am expected to call in 3 weeks because they are short staffed and pay for more labor and parts. I am not happy with my experience at all. Descriptions that come to mind are no explanation, over priced, and unorganized.

I made an appointment to have a recall taken care of and a tune up. I brought it in the day of my appointment thinking I would be picking it up later that day. After three phone calls and at the very end of the following day I was finally able to pick my car up. I had to cancel two appointments because I had no car and no one in the service department could give me a straight answer. I was rudely told when I called for the THIRD time for an ETA that the person I was speaking to had just gotten the invoice and didn’t know anything about my previous calls. I then found out they never did a tune up, just corrected the timing. I paid $120 for someone to keep my car for two days, cause me to miss appointments and basically do nothing. I was going to trade in my 2016 Soul for a new Sorento but there is no way I am buying here. I doubt I will buy a Kia at all so I don’t have to deal with this lousy service department.

Very nice people. Waiting area is nice and kept clean. Service was performed timely. Car was clean. I was surprised to be charged $18 for a tire rotation when the wheels had to come off to do the multi point inspection that included a brake check.

Picked out a car from here. Was in the process of getting it inspected, which the salesman assured me was fine. He called to say someone else was interested and I told him I’d be by to buy it later that day. He told me that was fine. I was contacted him twice more throughout the day. I showed up to get the car and he informed me they sold it and couldn’t hold it for me, despite what he had told me on the phone. I paid for an inspection for what is now someone else’s car. I would not recommend trying to buy a car from here

Wasted money on an inspection just to have the car sold out from under me. Overheard the other sales persons laughing and smirking saying that people usually don’t come back like I did.

The sales department is five stars. The service depart is .01 stars. Terrible service from them. We love our Kia Soul we just dont like how often we get the run around from the service department. Seven weeks to replace the blower? Really? Then one year later when it happens again, it took them 45 minutes to get at the blower and clean it out. Right. Engine had to be replaced so they had it for two weeks (faster than replacing the blower) and get in it and the check engine light is on. Did anyone test this???? Yeah, when they took seven weeks to replace our blower, the had to remove the refrigerant to get to it. They didnt recharge it and then tried to charge us $300 to add the refrigerant!

Id give them 0 stars if I could. They took my car in to fix the daylight sensors before 12:30PM and said theyd have it done by 3PM. We havent heard anything from them since 3:30PM. They dont have a reliable customer service person to answer the phones. Rude etiquette to not let the customer know why their vehicle isnt ready when theyre supposed to have it. Ill never buy from Kia again.-Displeased customer

Staff was very nice. I had my 10k mile service, oil change, tire rotation and new windshield wipers installed for $86! And they had me out in 90 minutes. The service waiting area was also spotlessly clean. Very good experience.

Wasted a trip to NOT test drive a vehicle. Baiting potential clients is never a good tactic! Ensure that your test car has been prepped... we requested to get behind the wheel but after getting a babysitter, waking up early on the weekend, and driving 40miles, we were told sorry all you can do is sit in the car. To add to the frustration, the salesman wouldnt quote an out the door price... it seemed like with the lower inventory, they expected us to just buy it now or move out of the way. #Did you wanna see us in a Kia?

Beware of making appointments for service at this dealership. I had to make an appointment 3 1/2 weeks ahead. I was told their system had been hacked and they were weeks behind. I drove 45 minutes from my home and I got there for my appointment on time. John, the service writer asked me why I was there, told him I had a 10am appointment. He didnt look it up, just asked why I was there. Told him my car had been stalling randomly and running rough. He asked if the engine light was on. I said no. He asked if I was dropping it off for the day. I said, no, I drove almost an hour to get here. He told me that due to covid they didnt have enough technicians to work on vehicles that day. I asked if that meant Id be waiting all day basically for them to check out my car. Most likely, was the the response I got. I told him I couldnt sit here all day for my car to be checked out. He shrugged, said he was sorry but that was the situation. I asked why no one called to make me aware of the situation so that I didnt drive all the way that I did? He didnt have an answer for that. Just, sorry. He said that he didnt want to lose my business, but if I couldnt leave it for the day that Id just be sitting there waiting for quite some time. I told him that due to such poor customer service, Id be seeking another dealership. Neither he or the service manager seemed to care. What a waste of my time. The 3 weeks of waiting to get in AND the inability to have my newer car checked out for a problem. Not even an offer to run a simple diagnostic. I wont be back.* This review is not a reflection on the salesman, Devan Reed. He was a pleasant and professional sales person to work with.

I called, confirmed I was coming in to buy a vehicle cash, got there, was rerouted to a different (third) person who left me waiting then informed me there was an issue with that vehicle and it was being serviced. I was asked if they could call me first thing the next morning and have me come back in? I never heard back from them. Not much else to say other than for whatever reason they didnt seem to want my business. Now I have no desire to spend my money there if they were to ever call me back. Which, four days later, they still have not.

While the vehicles are great and the front desk lady, Jody is incredibly friendly, service department absolutely kills this rating. After weeks of repeated phone calls and left messages, I get no return phone calls and when confronted about it, they claim they didn’t get any messages and refused to take responsibility for it. Last time they “looked” at my vehicle, they took almost 2 hours and decided we need tires... we agreed and have been waiting 3 weeks now for a return phone call to set up an appointment and get a quote. Another time, I needed a part replaced and they told me 3 days the part would be in and they’d call... after another 3 weeks, I called and they claimed they didn’t know why no one had called and jumped to get me in right away... The communication is just terrible and Kieth has the most condescending attitude when you express frustration.

Update 4/11/21I went to Firestone for a brake job and I found out that my cars frame and subframe are rusted and beginning to fail. Kia of Lansing service department has had my car up on a hoist, they should have told me about that. This type of damage didnt develop overnight, it takes years.Their service department is very helpful and very understanding about budget. They allow you to bring in outside parts which is greatly appreciated.

During a pandemic when masks are required seems like people here dont like wear one... Even when worn they are at best chin straps. Ive been to couple other places for repair generally they offer to put a seat cover on for sanitary purposes, but here thats a no go. I would think this somewhat professional business would take more precautions, but its the complete opposite.

We did end up purchasing a car, however, because the price was right, so thats why I give them 3 stars. If you know exactly what you want and dont need much help, theyre fine, but if you need a little help and have a couple options in mind, I wouldnt bother, especially if you have a special needs individual in your family.

I feel like one star is feeling generous after the customer service that was given by the Internet manager and the woman named Brandy,both being unprofessional and being apart of a business that should get sued for false advertising about their tellurides. They will tell you they have them in stock and at least 5 people are looking to get them from around the country and 5 people are looking at the vehicle right now... due to a pandemic happening I believe this isn’t true and Is trying to bring people in their store making them believe they are getting what they want but, the reality is to trick them into getting one of their vehicles that the customer didn’t want in the first place.the fact we are willing to pay upfront fully and they can’t accept it just because we are”out of state” and need to “be in store to purchase a vehicle”. We have talked to many other dealerships and this business practice should not at all be a policy. A real sale person would take this offer in a heartbeat.

Three trips = one oil change!Trip 1) My 2022 Sportage had its first oil change last month. Went great, very satisified.Trip 2) A week or so later, my driveway has oil spots everywhere I parked. The mechanic either forgot to change the washer or cracked the new one causing thsatisfied.Trip 3) Service Required message keeps going off. Obviously the mechanic didnt reset it on the last trip.I live approximately 15 miles from Kia of Lansing. 30 miles per trip × 3 trips is about 1/4 tank of gas.I should not have to make three trips for an oil change. Its just not acceptable.Now, how do I get the oil stains off my driveway?
