I visit this store frequently in search of Pokemon cards. I find cards here fairly frequently, but its rarely what I am looking for due to the shortage and demand where I live. I would still recommend checking on release days and whenever you get the time. Through my visits here, I have had the joy of interacting with amazing staff that have been very kind and helpful. There is one gentleman in particular that seems to be the manager who I see quit often. He is very kind and helpful every single visit. If I mention a product, he will always check availability online for preorder or purchase without me asking first. I find myself returning frequently because they treat me so well!

I have shopped here since this location opened. Its a nice local shop. However, if Scott is working then you are surely to feel unwelcome. He has no concept of dealing with customers or how to talk with people in general. I know this is a tough time to work in retail or any sort of customer service as I work in the field as well. That said, I will no longer be shopping here, ten years of being treated poorly this person has finally sunk in. I hope you read this Scott, not that it will sink in after all these years, but thanks for making it a horrible experience to go into the local Gamestop.

Alan and Scott were very helpful with trying to trade in a phone today, I brought in a phone. Their computer was having issues finding it at first but they got it working, both nice gentlemen. Always a pleasure going in there.

I would have given this place five stars because the lady at the front had amazing customer service :) however the manager has two dogs that just walk around. Maybe it was my fault I came in with my two month old baby and one of the dogs jumped up on me and the other barked at us. I love dogs but something worse could have happened.

Havent had good interactions here, was sold a faulty system once that the employees knew was likely to have a problem, and had a friend try to trade in a working system he had bough recently from them, only to be told (quite inconsiderately) it was defective and they wouldnt accept it because it wouldnt play one certain test disc. The store is nice, buying games and simple things would probably be fine, but I would take high-dollar purchases elsewhere or look at warranties and other means of protecting yourself.

Love this GameStop. The staff, Ryan in particular, are friendly and extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and clearly have a passion fornthis industry....all except for the Gen Manager, who always makes me feel like I am annoying him when I walk in there, but in all fairness I think that is just how he comes off. Besides that, this is a great shop that provides a great experience almost every time.

Arguably one of the worst experiences ever. I had bought 2 PS4 controllers here during a sale and then I decided to return them without even opening them at all because I bought a steam machine instead. The employees had then stated that this was the only time they would honor a return with a receipt because the item was on sale. It wasnt even like a major discounted priced at all. $45 for a controller anything but a sale, its not even a fire sale price. I had traded many items at this location before as well, bringing them good business yet this is how they wanted to treat people. If all their items were as-is, no refunds I bet you this place would lose all its customers.

Helpful visit today, answered all my questions. Just wish the used game inventory was a bit better but for a small town its expected I suppose.

I actually really like this this game stop, its always clean and I usually get fairly decent help from the employees but I give this GameStop a one star review because of the manager Scott. I have never ever had a pleasant encounter with him.

For Gamestop, this one is well managed.Staff often have a working knowledge of games or pop sci that maybe considered dated by some.Modern consoles everyone i have encountered is spot on, they know the systems, even n the ones they dont play.

His is a long story but worth the read. This is the absolute WORST GameStop and game store in general that I have ever been to. Every single time my husband or I go in to trade in a game or a system there is ALWAYS an issue. The first time was to trade my DS in because I had ordered a new one. They took out the memory card and of course the system wouldn’t connect to their internet. I went home, popped the memory card back in and had no problems connecting to internet. Popped it out, wouldn’t connect. That’s a knowledge issue right there. Went in a few weeks later to trade in our Xbox one s. Here is where the really crazy issues started. Apart from it being a 15 minute wait just to get some help, instead of using a game that was already loaded on the Xbox or a game that was 1-2 MB worth of download, the rude Emily proceeded to try to download a game that was going to take 30+ minutes to download. When asked why, the response was “this is just the best game to use” .... how? Then when asked, if there is an update for the system, will you still take it in? We were told “yes, we can go through the system without having to update it” we said cool because their internet was so slow and the update would have taken over an hour. Low and behold Emily tries to update the system and of course it says it will be over 2 hours to update. My husband used to manage a video game trade store back in Arkansas and knows what he is talking about. He tried to offer simple advice and Emily was without knowledge of how to actually process this trade. We had to show her information from the Microsoft website to get our point across, and she proceeded to argue and say that was wrong, called her manager who agreed that the Microsoft website was wrong and continued with the download. My husband said, you know can we just stop this? Is there a way for you to safely stop the update? Instead of answering his question she FORCE SHUT DOWN THE XBOX DURING AN UPDATE!!!! There were three other people in the store who watched this and we were all shocked, with jaws dropped. We called corporate who was very kind and considerate and were told the DM would be calling us to reconcile. It’s been a month and we still have not received a call. If this wasn’t the only video game store in Laramie, we would be taking our business elsewhere. Be warned, they do NOT have product knowledge and do NOT have customer service.

The staff are always nice enough but that doesnt stop it from being a gamestop where you get pennies for trade ins. I bought a new game and didnt like it so returned it like 3 days later and got offered $3 for what I paid $60.

I am not a huge fan of GameStop in general, but the employees here are really cool people and are very helpful.

They charge as much as a new game for used unless you buy a pricey subscription . Their selection of Nintendo an PC games and peripherals is lacking.

I love all the other employees but the store manager here is always really awful to me and my boyfriend.
