Visiting Florida from WV the βcheck engine oilβ light came on in my Ford F-150. I didnβt even know how to open the hood. I stopped in and, embarrassed, I explained my predicament to Tiffany Cosey. She was so kind and understanding. She found the oil I needed and asked Andy Jeanbaptiste to come out and help me. They both came out and showed me the procedure of checking and adding oil. They couldnβt have been nicer. Iβm so grateful for kind and thoughtful people like Tiffany and Andy.
Switch went out on my ride on the weekend, perfect timing. Visited this location because itβs near my job. Passed it for years and only went in three times. There are always males occupying the parking lot and the adjacent lots working on othersβ cars and sometimes offering to fix mine as well. This is year round and probably only lets up during rain storms and when the store closes. Today, it was like a party with so many people moving around the parking lot and Reggae music playing. This is cool, if it were Bahama Breeze. Iβm not knocking the hustle, but I bet this doesnβt happen in the Advanced Auto near Aventura, Galt Ocean Mile, Doral, you get my drift. Thereβs a sign that advises against auto repairs on the premises and which obviously gets ignored by some. Once inside, I was not immediately acknowledged by the three workers present until I spoke up. I was directed to the beautiful associate, Demetrius. He was well groomed, fresh breath, clean teeth, clear speech and he knew a thing or two about auto parts. He shared his experience with the particular part I was purchasing. I appreciated his confidence that the switch would most likely correct my concern and that it only usually happens after 100,000 miles or more, I was glad about that, but even happier with the price. God is good!!!
Went there to purchase new hub caps they had exactly what I wanted. Young man who helped me was very nice and respectful!
Clueless employees, slow service, attitude, no one is managing this place the line is out the door everyone is on their cell phone and the part specialist doesnt has never heard of a Volkswagon cc waited for 20 mins for nothing everyone behind me was angry it was just a very negative and inefficient way for a business to run

Upon entering I saw men standing around and realized they were waiting to get to the cashier. There wasnt a clear area for each cashier as the product displays and aisles were very close to the windows. Maybe its a good way to sell more product but its a bit chaotic to walk through.The lady that assisted me was extremely pleasant and helpful. She made my experience a very good one!

The manager and customer service agents in the store were awesome and very professional. The delivery driver for Advance Auto was a little agitated and misrepresented a customer who was taking photos of the structure. She was pulling up from visiting a previous business. She was very agitated bc I was trying to park. She got out and stood up then began putting on a polo business shirt with Advance Auto store on it and walked quickly into the auto store. She was biracial with long soft fluffy curly hair. She immediately report to the person (customer) inside that someone is taking photos of the license plate. She went behind counter of store briefly and then walked out to her company vehicle and went home 45 minutes before the shift ended. The customer was leaving very fast when he approach me I told the young man not to be alarmed its alright. At that time I went inside the store and I asked her why she reported it. She says, Im working and kept walking like I was irrelevant. Okay, last week I spent $100 and today I spent more. I think I deserve at the least an apology. Because she, in my opinion, intend to see harm done to me, or if there was a crime been committed, she was there to obstruct the event. I seriously would think twice when it comes to allowing somebody who reacts like this a chance to conduct business to business. Example is real. What about if someone is committed a crime, would she help them get away? It would seem likely by her exchange of information.

I donβt usually write reviews but this can not go unnoticed. I purchased a cv axial for the driver and passenger side at the store and received something completely different it took a mechanic several hours to remove the wrong axial out. I went to auto zone and they gave me the right one. Please have people who are more knowledgeable about vehicles

Nyta Oliver the nightshift manager is the best, her customer service skills were amazing, and made life alot easier. She takes her time with the customer doesnt make you wait on long drawn out holds. She called back when my parts were ready like she said she would. This is the only Advance auto parts store I will shop at considering shes on the shift.

If open, hostile racism is your thing, then this is the Advance location for you!Some of the employees here have been cool over time, but the truth is customer service overall at this store has never been any better than so so. The main problem with coming here is that some of the employees are very racist, proud of it, and openly nasty to you if you arent the complexion they approve of. If you are unlucky and get one of these employees you will be totally disrespected, get no help at all, none of your questions will be answered, but you will have no doubt that you are being hated simply for existing, The management must approve of it because it is so open and blatant. So they deserve to be called out on it.When you talk about this store with other employees of Advance, it is very well known among them that this is the rep of this store. So Advance knowingly pays some of these low-lifes to take their personal garbage out on certain customers. Its happened enough that Im over it and wont come here again, I can drive a little further down the road where no one cares what color you are.or arent, you know, like America is SUPPOSED to be . Its too much like playing cultural Russian roulette to come here. One time you have a cool experience, the next time you leave feeling like you got slimed for no reason and have to go to another Advance to get your help and parts anyway..Ill give them 2 stars because everyone is not bad here and they do speak different Caribbean languages which has to help some people, but honestly, why risk being the victim of some scumbag employees prejudices when theres another auto parts shop right down Oakland?

WOW! ! ! those guys are horrible ! ! !came to return the batteries that i pruches 2 days ago, ( came back with the receipt )they sold me batteries without the red plastic cap that usually come with it and now they tell me that i been using the batteries and they cant return them back.FOR REAL ? i just bought it and i showed you a receipt that its been purchase 2 days ago.The Cashier was rude and i ask to speak with the manager, he told me that he is the manager and there is no one else to speak with. he had a decision not to do the return and thats it.ill never go back there.they lost my business and much more.Shame on you.

I find it way easier to order online & then go get it. However today when I did my research on the parts that I needed & once again Advanced Auto came up with the best & cheapest parts for what I was looking for I went ahead & TRIED to order them. Thats when I found a lotta lot of Not In Stock for what seemed to be every store (8 of them) near me. Anyway I really needed the parts today so I ordered them anyway. I received my Order number & shortly after my email letting me know when it would be ready for pick up (30 minutes). It didnt give me much time since the location was almost the furthest from my home. It was 8:20 but I knew I could make it there before 9 when they closed by driving the back streets. I was right & I got there at 8:48 but they were already closed the doors were locked & the man inside waved me off.I have to say I was quite irritated because of the distance that I had to go to get these parts. Literally passing about 20 other automotive stores but because money is tight I went with the best price that I could find. I guess thats what I get trying to get the best & most for my dollar. A store closed 12 minutes before they were suppose to be closed causing me to have to return tomorrow. Not happy. Great value & parts tho.

Whats an auto parts store not much to say about it they had what I needed and it fix my car but it was a little expensive in the guy pushed for the get the better part instead of the mediocre part.
Worst service ever, 6 to 7 employees walking around in the store and not one offered help. The cashier looked at me from the register and saw how obviously confused I was but continued to laugh and talk with one customer who wasnt even checking out.
