Pros:Fantastic place to do business. We worked with William Hill. I was not sure how to fill our need during these trying times so I called and flatly asked. I would give 10 stars if I could. My family broke down on their way to Pigeon Forge. They do not speak perfect English. Tammy and everyone in the service department did everything to help get a rental car while the vehicle was being repaired. There were no rentals available for 100 miles. They helped me locate a hotel and took them to the hotel for me until I can go pick them up. They went above and beyond any service I have ever experienced with a dealership. Forever thankful.

I took my car here a couple weeks ago for overheating but when i cut the heat on it went back to regular and i had been driving like this for weeks and they told me there was a hole in the coolant reservoir. I paid over 300 dollars to get this fixed and 109 for diagnosing it. Also overcharged me for oil change 80 dollars worth which we showed them and they told me they did on accident. I drove it back home the same day and it was still doing the same thing. I called them and they said that I could come back and they would look at it. They tried charging me a diagnostic fee again but i did not end up paying it.Before leaving they told my boyfriend that i can not get the 30 dollars from over charging me on my oil change. and tried charging me another 300 to fix my car for something else which the problem with my car is a thermostat and they still did not diagnose my car right.

I drove two hours to test drive a Jeep they had in stock. I made them a fair offer on the Jeep and was told that the managet was not taking any money off of the Jeep. Fours hours wasted. A week later I was emailed, just a way of staying in contact. I replied that if the price dropped, please let me know. She agreed. I emailed today about the Jeep and was told that they would accept my deal. Then they sold it out from under me. Very disappointed in this whole experience. Wouldnt recommend them.

Firmin Ford is the absolute best dealer I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I live about 30 mins away but I will definitely take the drive to have all my service done there. I called looking for a GT350 as 2020 will be the last year. They had one on order and where most dealers wanted over sticker we worked out the best deal out of anywhere and I got the car BELOW MSRP. Dustin Hatfeild is my salesman and kept me up to date on the cars entire process. He texted me every other day letting me know where it was and when it would arrive. I received my GT350 yesterday and ABSOLUTELY love it. There where some dealer items that had to be put on like the front splitter and the extra part on the rear wing. Dustin ask if I wanted them on so Dustin, Mr. Firmin (owner) and the service manager put those on personally. When my wife or son need a car this is definitely the place we will go. I will recommend anyone to go there. Every one there is very friendly and it has a great home town feel.

Here is my absolute challenge to ANYONE looking to buy a new or used Ford...go ahead and look in the Atlanta market, look in the Charlotte market, check Columbia, Greenville, and Spartanburg...THEN come to Laurens, SC and PURCHASE your vehicle from Firmin Ford! You will NOT find a better deal, and you should HOPE to deal with Will for your purchase. Hes exceptionally knowledgeable and well versed about their products and processes. We made a verbal commitment about the truck over a month ago when it was still in transit, and William kept his word in EVERY SINGLE ASPECT of that commitment. It means something, to me, in 2020 that when you shake a persons hand and they keep their word. Thats how it should be. There was NO pressure from him, or anyone for that matter to purchase a vehicle. Sometimes it may seem too good to be true, and you may be waiting for the gotcha in the finance office, but not at Firmin Ford. Those advertised prices you see on the internet in other markets are gimmicks and games to get you in the door, but NOT at Firmin Ford. They are real people making real deals that work for YOU. Its your time, effort, choice, and money, and you can do with them as you see fit, but IF you go to Firmin Ford and find something different than what I described, I would be stunned! I took my 16 ford explorer in due to a harsh shift. I have a warranty on the vehicle, so the work is being done under warranty.They were quick to diagnose the problem to be a bad valve body. But after several days I called back to get an update and was told that the part that came in was not correct(missing codes to program and missing a solenoid?). After a few more days I called back and was told after installing the correct part that the problem was not fixed in fact it had gotten worse( reverse and drive were now backwards?). After a few more days I contacted them again and they said that they had to get confirmation from the warranty company to go ahead and just replace the transmission. After the go ahead was given they went ahead and replaced the transmission and after a complete month I was able to pick my vehicle back up. All was good for a couple weeks until this past Friday I drove the vehicle and noticed that it shifted very hard into drive and reverse from park or neutral but shifted smoothly while driving. This is my wifes car and I hadnt drove it since picking it up a few weeks earlier so it probably had been doing it since pickup. The next day I got under the vehicle to see if I could see possible what was going on and found two separate transmission mounts loose one of which the bolts were completely out of. After seeing this I looked over the entire car checking to see what else was left loose and not but back properly. I found the support bearing on the passage side CV axle was missing the bolt that held it in place and the flange nuts on the exhaust were stripped out and barely connected. I fixed the issues myself. Didnt even waste my time taking it back in because it probably would have taken another month to correct these problems and I wouldnt trust them to touch it again anyways. I would think that a dealership mechanic that specializes is ford products would do a much better job, and actually completing jobs checking to make sure everything was tightened back up correctly. Very disappointed in the quality of work from firmin ford and would not recommend them to anyone.
Firmin Ford is exceptional, not once, not twice, but even after 3 purchases, exceptional. I drive about an hour to go to Firmin Ford but the level of service and the genuine care from the people across the entire dealership is worth every mile. I highly recommend the product (Ive had an Escape, C-Max, and Fusion) but you can find Fords anywhere; what you cant find everywhere is the very special people that work there, they truly care about getting me the best deal, the best service, and they really want to help me get the car I want. We took our focus in to have it serviced for throwing a code. We provided as much information about what happened when the issue happened. My wife was driving and the the engine went into limp mode and the car would not go over 30mph. She found a safe place to pull in and called me to come assist. When I got there the car had been off for some time and I started to see what it was doing and if we trusted driving or if we needed to schedule a tow. The car started and ran as if there was nothing wrong but the check engine light was on.We took our focus to Firmim and the headache began. It was Saturday and no one there that could assist which we were good with leaving the car. We called Monday morning to see when they would be able to run diagnostic to see what the issue was and a estimate... we was told they would give us a call on Tuesday which came and went. I called on Thursday and they had still not looked at the car and the service person Ap&@# was not pleasant and proceeded to tell me she was very busy and did not have enough help that she was behind. I told her we would come get the car and she then said she would get someone to look at it and call me back.We received call back to say it would be 1800 if the did all the work that the transmission needed shift forks and the clutch and seals would have to be replaced. I had previously told them the transmission was not slipping but she told me it had to be and that was an issue with Ford it was a bad product and I would have to address that with Ford. WOW, slam the company you work for... the transmission had given little issue and warranty work was completed at firman less than 30k miles prior to this issue. She got very defensive when I asked if it could have been a issue from the work they performed since the first clutches lasted nearly 100k miles and were barely within limits for the recall/ford extended warranty. She argued that they did not perform the warranty work but I had my paperwork and she finally dug far enough and said well that was three years ago. She would not listen to any questions just that she gave me the quote and I could let them know what I wanted to do.After getting no where we picked up (service was rude and she wanted to make her point. I had just came to get the car and was going to say nothing but she wanted to say that she was right) our car and took it to Ballantine Ford. Ballantine service was top notch. They listened to us and said they would have to run their own diagnostic because they have received bad diagnostic from other dealers which we had no issue with. Turned out to be a bad TCM valve under recall which throws a code to the 2nd shift fork. Since we have taken our ARI fleet vehicles to Ballantine and out tundra to their sister service center. Great service to be had just not at firman and ask questions if you decide to go to firman you may not get the correct diagnostic and donβt question Ap&@# she can be extremely nasty.
I was working with Brian Wyatt and even though I was unable to purchase a vehicle from them the costumers service was excellent. He was not over bearing or pushy and truly seemed to understand my situation and want to help. Their lady they had over financing the day I went in was also extremely kind and did the best she could to help me. I also had all me kids with me at the time I was there. They interacted with my kids which are all young and can be wild, set up cartoons for them and made sure they were happy. Brain even checked on me after to see if I was able to find a vehicle. Let me tell you my Firmin Ford story. My old truck left me stranded one night, fuel pump. I knew it was the fuel pump, had truck forever and know symptoms of failures. Have had prob several years back. Had truck towed to Firmin. Told them I needed fuel pump. Two weeks go by with diagnostics they said. Most likely truth was they had not touched. They finally said not fuel pump but a switch. They replaced. I picked it up and barely made it out of parking lot. Apparently concept of test drive was lost on them. Two more weeks passed. Girls in front started to get rude with ME when I called about my truck. Kept receiving excuse they were trying to diagnose problem. Finally got a call, turned out it needed fuel pump. Imagine that. A month to have a fuel pump replaced on a 1995 F 150.

Very very bad owner. . He is a crook wearing a suit smilling at you while he is robbing you for all the money he can get . He stole a $10,000.00 mustang from me after I got out the hospital from having a heart attack and could not communicate with them about storage bill and diagnosis of my car . Which started out as $328.00 and ended up when he was selling it at Laurens to take possession of my great used car which had only 38,000. Miles on it . And they wanted it cause I was not able to get out of hospital . I was in iccu for over 3 months . So Mr. Jim Firman the owner now took it over for telling me after I had all ready told them what was wrong with my car . Called and told them not to fix it for a $1000.00 for a fuel pump and a gas gauge . Which cost $138.00 at parts house .. its a shame this man is still allowed to sell new cars must less used cars . Just watch out for all of them up there . Cause most all was working there was going to see that Jim Firman got my car for nothing ..

Mr. Firmin also personally helped me work through some different financing possibilities. I unfortunately had some minor problems with my used car purchase about a month or so after my family bought the vehicle. I was out of state when this occurred, but check this out --- I called Mr. Firmin and personally discussed my predicament with him and worked towards a fair solution with him. Not only was he encouraging through the process, but he also helped out financially with the repairs even though I was out of state! I dont think you can get better customer service than that!Buying Process: Smooth. It was honestly the easiest and most efficient car deal Ive made. Ive worked with some other local dealers recently, and Firmin Ford is head and shoulders above their competition. No annoying waiting games or tricks. Ever spent an hour signing annoying paperwork for a large purchase at the end of the deal where the finance guy tries to up sell you at every twist and turn - NOT HERE. I was done in 10-15 minutes and shocked at how smooth the process was for me and my family.Quality of Repairs: I didnt have repairs done at Firmin Ford, but like I mentioned before, Mr. Firmin personally assisted me in getting the repair I needed out of state! Also, I would not hesitate to take my car to Firmin Ford for repairs or general maintenance for any of my vehicles.Facilities: Wow, remodeled building inside and out! The building looks sleek, sharp, and classy. The lot is small enough to walk, yet roomy enough that you can enjoy walking around cars without feeling cramped.Buying a car is such a big decision and emotions can play such a large part. The facts are these, if youre looking for a solid trade value on your current vehicle and want to purchase a car that is priced right, then Firmin Ford should be at the very top of your list. Not only will their buying process be efficient and enjoyable, but you can trust that Mr. Firmin himself will see to it personally that you will be dealt with professionally and courteously throughout the entire process and beyond. Worst experience ever. Bought a used truck from them and didnt even have it for 2 weeks before I had major fuel problems. Dropped one injector after another. Found out the previous owner had similar issues and got rid of it. What makes it worse is the parts are covered by a 2 year parts warranty from ford. Firmin is not willing to do the work in fear of ford not paying them for the work because the parts havent completely failed yet. The truck barely made it to them under its own power. Steer clear of this place. They only care about themselves, not the customer. Plenty of better options as far as dealerships are concerned. Dont waist your time.
