Second visit since the pandemic started and outdoor eating is still a vibe. Came here with my daughter and I had the Spicer sandwich and my daughter had the Montana - both were delicious in totally different ways. My sandwich was savory with some sweet. Her was savory and all melted cheese and peppers. We each had one half of each others sandwiches. It wasnt crowded for a Friday evening, restaurant was super clean (including the unisex bathroom), and well definitely be back!
Cosy little coffee house! Has a real chill vibe. I love the porch swing.
Great little coffee shop located in a historic house that has been furnished with dining tables and chairs inside and on the large covered porch. Good selection of hot and cold coffees as well as an assortment of other beverages. Assortment of homemade desserts are available as well as a made-to-order breakfast and lunch menu with hot and cold sandwiches. Coffee and food quality is excellent. Great place to grab a coffee to go or relax and enjoy the quiet ambiance. Well worth stopping in.
My friend and I visited Boulder Creek Coffee today and the dining experience was absolutely fantastic! The food was great, fresh and hot. Exceptional customer services! The thing that I personally treasured the most, was that even with mask wearing, I could easily see the smiles on the servers faces. The entire staff made us feel very welcome!Id undoubtedly recommend this place to anyone. I left the place very content and pray that God will continue to bless the owner of BCC, his family and the entire staff, in Jesuss name. Fritz-Gerald Délice, Ph.D.
First time and loved it. Staff is great, Jenny made our coffee and gave us some explanation as well regarding coffee questions we had. Very amicable and personable. Loved the location and the look. This is what I envision when I think of a coffee house. Only thing missing is a full barista to draw on the coffee.
Really cozy here with a small selection of breakfast items that are served all day. The service was a little slow but everyone was nice and the avocado toast was good. They only gave one egg for 2 pieces of toast so I had to cut the egg to share it over the toast. The cappuccino had a nice flavor but wasn’t overly hot.The ambience is super. What looks like a restored home they keep the traditional feel and some original house features like the fireplace.I asked if the eggs and bacon were locally sourced and I was told they were unsure. If you are reading this remember that for local business to stand out using local products and local meat is a huge selling point. If I am in town again I will come back.
Never going to Starbucks again, now that Ive found BCC. Way cooler dining room, and better coffee too.
This place is absolutely amazing their customer service and ambiance is great. I recently started coming here a month ago with my sister it’s literally a nice comfy house with nice employees, beautiful outdoor seating and a HAMMOCK and it’s big enough for two people so me and my sister lay on it after eating a delicious meal. In other words..... YOU NEED TO COME HERE
We enjoy the coffee always. I usually get the chicken salad with the Nutella cappuccino. It’s cozy and a nice atmosphere.
This Coffee Shop is awesome. It is a wonderful atmosphere, plenty of table seating, many people gather and just enjoy relational Small Time business meetings, Bible studies, Etc. You may even Reserve meeting rooms online. Small menu, but perfect amount. My favorite place to sit and think, read, work, people watch, enjoy company over a wonderful cup of coffee or tea. It is a must-try. My new Found Love 💕
This is probably the best coffee shop Ive been too. They have a fun atmosphere, great coffee/tea and food! The staff are very personable! The location is in a great spot around other shops too.
Always great coffee and yummy snacks!I think they could benefit from one more employee each shift as trash cans are constantly full and service line backs up frequently. But the employees that are there do the best they can!
Great selection of drinks and sandwiches, lovely and comfortable environment and nice people here. The sandwich and chai latte were delicious and the sandwich which I saved half for the next day was great leftover.
Nice little place to meet a client or just relax. Good atmosphere, efficient if not overly friendly service. Sorely needed in Lawrenceville.
Cute little coffee shop in downtown Lawrenceville, breakfast options, sandwiches (served all day), and pastries. $18 for one coffee, one cheese danish (for now) and two blueberry muffins (for later). Not sure if they bake all their own goods, but will def be back to try the breakfast burrito and giant brownie.
I have been to this coffee shop 3xs. Overall, I find it average. I waited about 30 min to get a latte. I wasn’t asked if I wanted it “for here or to go.” If I sit in, I like my latte in a mug not a to go cup. The bathroom (1 toilet in the establishment), was very dirty to say the least. It’s a nice coffee shop, but they can definitely do with keeping areas clean and not making customers wait 30 min for coffee.
First time here even though Im at Lawrenceville square all the time. I love this place! Service was amazing! My avocado toast was so good that I almost wanted to order second one! Coffee - white mocha, in my opinion better than Starbucks as it was not too sweet. Oh and the historic house - beautiful, inside and outside ! My new favorite coffee spot!
This coffee shop is the best place in downtown Lawrenceville to have a very good coffee, sandwiches and breakfast meals all day. It is located in a historic house at the edge of town, everything is within walking distance in downtown. There is a plenty of parking and they have plenty of room to just come and chill and meet up with friends or business associates. There is also a room to reserve for larger groups.
I love this place and I desperately wish they were on doordash. I tried going to the drive through but there was no menu, which was a bit frustrating. I love the inside and thats always part of the whole experience for me but Im pregnant and obviously trying to stay away from people as much as I can due to covid and upcoming flu season. That being said, my lunch and my cold brew were on point as always! P.s.. I also wish they could bottle the cold brew to sell because store bought just doesnt compare!
Happy to see a new coffee shop that opens up before 9 AM on the weekends. A definite plus for us early risers. And in a nice location within walking distance of the square. They did a nice job revitalizing an older home. The coffee and pastries were both delicious. Not anything over-the-top, just traditional coffee and espresso styles.Definitely worth checking out if you like your morning coffee. Cant wait until the weather gets warmer to be able to sit out on the nice wrap-around porch.
Delicious coffee and food! Really cool spot in a gorgeous old house!
Nice relaxed atmosphere. Excellent coffee and sandwich selection. Would recommend this place for a nice break from the hustle and bustle of life.
I really like this place! The coffee is excellent. Tried a mocha today and I would get it again. Inside it is a nice pleasant place to hang out and get some work done. People are friendly and as sociable as you want to be with them. Oh, and the muffins are pretty good too.
The Donna sandwich was awesome. The oolong tea was a perfect pairing.
Great coffee and sandwiches. Really cute coffee shop with plenty of space to meet up. Friendly service.
I like there Danish just like in europe and Coffee is great of course
First time here, the coffee was good and I liked the place style that’s why I give it 3 starts, because the food I did not like it. We ordered a simple ham and cheese sandwich it says that comes with a touch of rosemary, omg I felt like I was eating a bag of rosemary herbs, taste really strong. The cashier did not aware us about that, knowing that this was our first time there. The service was not good either, They served our muffin and yogurt and we had to stand up and go there to ask if that was ours. The parfay was ok, nothing special, but muffin was really good. I will go back and try it again and if like it I’ll change my review.
A good place to get gluten free snacks. Great atmosphere. Great place to work, study, or talk. Big porch as well as many little rooms.
Coffee is meh. Usually come with partner and well get the french press just for that additional cup of caffeine however we dont really enjoy it. Been coming for months now tried all version of the french but disliked them all for various reason but the main being its too light. I prefer a dark roast the kind youu get in a latte. The signature notes are too strong. Acting as the base rather than as an enhancer. The star of the show for this place are the bake goods. My go to is a heated coffee cake.
Boulder Creek Coffee in downtown Lawrenceville hits you like some kind of landmark. This house turned coffee shop is a unique experience coupled with amazing coffee and baked products. Ive rarely found places like this that also have a drive-thru. I gave 4 stars only because Ive almost always struggled to find indoor seating when I visited, and in the Georgia heat that can be disappointing. But overall what an amazing experience.
Great coffee, dessert and ambiance. We love coming here and just hang out for a while while enjoying our coffee. Great staff. You can’t go wrong. Hope to see you there.
Sandwich was very tasty I would like to come back again
Pumpkin chai latte is 5 stars
My wife and I stopped by for the first time for an hour or so this evening. The drinks were excellent - just incredible. The food we tried was great too. And theres no way I could say how friendly, courteous and personable the staff was. All around great place to visit. Well definitely be going back.
This was my first time there. I enjoyed myself. My coffee was very good. My blueberry muffin was awesome. I will go back again.
Cozy and comfortable atmosphere!! Inside and outside seating available. Limited menu items, prices are higher than expected. Highly recommend!
I loved this place at their former location (near the Stripers’ stadium). I’m not sure what happened since they moved, but the quality of the food, coffee, and customer service have all suffered. I decided to try them again this morning, and my drink was SO BAD. It was undrinkable, which is such a waste and so disappointing.
Nice place and great staff.
This place has got some incredible coffee! I was bummed that I couldnt try their famous syphon coffee, however in my three visits, I did try their: pour over locally roasted coffee, their Shaker, and their cold brew. All of which were delicious. They have a good selection of flavors like Nutella and Raspberry and everything in between. My favorite was their pourover black. The flavor, temperature, and strength were perfect. My barista took pride and patience in making my cup just right. In addition, the staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The ambience is great. As it is a old converted house with a cool story behind it. If you are in downtown Lawrenceville, GA you should stop by and get a cup of coffee or tea. You wont regret it.
Tried the Cold brewit was delicious. Atmosphere is great.
A great place to stop by if youre in need of some sweet, sweet caffeine. 👍👍
Quaint can sometimes be a code word for cramped. In this instance, when I say quaint I mean unexpected and more like a house than a coffee house...but well thought out and well executed nonetheless. There are various places to sit in and outside of the coffee house. Unique and comfortable. The drinks and light fare are the perfect compliment. The atmosphere is inviting...even during a pandemic...which says a lot. I could say something about the signage being scarce...making the spot easy to miss on a one way street...but bigger signs would take away from the cozy vibe. I order the Chaider when Im there.
A great little cafe to enjoy at all times!!
Relaxing and friendly atmosphere lovely wraparound balcony to sit on and contemplate
Such a charming place. Situated in an old house, you can sit on the wrap around porch outside while sipping a delicious cup of coffee. There is a yard with a hammock abd corn hole games. This makes for a great place to bring kids to play while you catch up with a friend. You can bring your dog on the porch too. Internet is spotty. Otherwise its awesome!
Standards are critical in any business but especially a coffee shop. Boulder lacks standards and its well highlighted in their inconsistent creation of their drinks. As one of the only coffee shops still curating drinks in Lawrenceville. I implore Boulder in 2021 to focus on standards and deliver what used to be great quality drinks!! This said, I like boulder but I want to love it. Boulder Creek, the ball is in your court.
Very good a place so nice and very good staff
Really cute place, the CS was great & the treats are delicious!
Small coffee shop in downtown Lawrenceville with good drink and pastry selection, but its always crowded, so if youre looking for a quiet place to hide away and get some work done this most likely isnt for you. If youre looking for a cool place to hang out and socialize this is your spot!
Staff was super nice! Even commented my hidden leaf tat😂😂 sad that the cap only comes in the small.. I know it’s meant to be a small bc it’s traditional, but I asked for a larger size.. “Can you charge me for a large latte and make me a large cappuccino? I don’t want a lot of milk, more foam.” She said “you got it” but still made me a latte.... with no foam at all....😫😫😫 it takes less milk to make, so it saves you money in the long run. If you can’t do it then say so.. don’t hand out the wrong product.. so one star down for the shorty. 4 stars up for the others being so nice. Ps. The gluten free scones.. I no like, but the coffee still taste good, just needs to be taught how to properly make. Good luck guys practice with soap and water to make perfect foam. Thanks for the nice visit and making me smile.
One of my favorite coffee shops. It is tricky to park there. Turn into the Lawrenceville parking deck on the left, immediately before Boulder Creek. I am a tea drinker and usually tea is an afterthought at coffee shops, understandably, but not here. The tea is amazing and a high quality. The old house they are in is unique and comfy on the inside. The staff is always super friendly!
Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Offered a sample of the cold brew, FYI let it breathe a bit cause flavor profile changes as it sets in the cup. I had the avacado toast, I was unpleasantly surprised. Their Avacado toast is basically wonder bread with some avacado smashed on top, add a slice of bacon and two undercooked eggs. I eat eggs over easy, these eggs were undercooked. My wife originally ordered overnight oats but we were informed they were out after we had paid and been seated for about 5 min, they did apologize and rectify this issue. She was offered the option of another menu item which she selected the avacado toast. She was less pleased with the toast than I. Cortado was not well prepared though the foam art was pretty good, we favor flavor over foam art.
Delicious food & beverages in a relaxed idyllic old world setting. Ive had the Mocha, overnight PB oats, & chicken quesadilla so far, all 10/10.
Our ice lattes were horrible. Mostly sugar and water with no coffee taste.
Coffee is so good! The atmosphere was so cozy and calm. A great place for a late night cup of decaf or a caffeine filled study day!
I’m writing this 5-star review from their 5-star hammock hanging from the trees of their 5-star front lawn. Love this place and would call myself a regular if I didn’t live out of town. The wrap-around front porch is stellar; the ghost of the man who built it warmly welcomes you when you walk up to it, and stories from the past century (it’s an historic house) float in the air as you sip hot cappucinos.
Fantastic service, amazing drinks, and fair prices! This is a hugely popular spot amongst the locals, where theyre often greeted by name and already have an order started. Top notch 👌🏼
Delicious coffee and friendly staff are the beginning of a great experience here. They have a wide variety of pastries and snacks and they have a great atmosphere.Vegetarians will do well! Wheelchair folks will need to enter in the back
Either not open the times posted or not at the location listed. I couldn’t find it and no one answered the phone.
Very charming building and location! Historic Lawrenceville is a lovely place to visit, and Boulder Creeks beautiful building built in 1893, is a great place to meet friends and family or relax alone. The coffee is wonderful, (I had the decaf.) and the wrap around porch is a delightful setting with a great view. The young lady who served us was friendly and quick.
OH MY GOSH!!!!! THIS IS THE BESTEST COFFEE HOUSE EVER!!!!!!!! If you have never been here, you need to come!!! The staff is the most amazing staff, the coffee is the most amazing coffee, and the atmosphere is second to none!! I have them pick my drink every time, and it is always amazing!!! Please, please, please, please come and check out Boulder Creek Coffee!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Everything here is quality. Be prepared to wait during busy times or Saturday, but the staff are friendly. Find a cozy corner and read a good book. I love the London fog!
Friendly folks, cool atmosphere for having a conversation with someone. I dont drink coffee, but their teas are above average. Theres a bit of a wait sometimes but its simply because they make everything to order and take the time to do it right. It is a bit pricey, but they are right in the heart of downtown Lawrenceville and the facility is a big part of the experience.
Favorite coffee shop! Delicious coffee, good prices. Another restroom would be a good idea. Incredibly cozy atmosphere inside & on the porch. Pleasant staff.
Im more of a tea person and Im picky about my tea. I had thee most impressive lodon fog ever. I really liked the cozy Victorian look. Its the perfect place to study or relax after a long work day. What brand of tea do you use?
Serving Counter Culture coffee, good variety of baked goods as well as sandwiches, and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating make this a coffee shop worth visiting. They also have a drive thru window, something not every independent shop has.
Really great customer service and the food is great. The breakfast burrito was huge enough for two. They were out of rice and beans and substituted blueberries and strawberries on the side. 5 YUMS UP!
I used to really like this coffee shop, and they still make a good cup of coffee. Unfortunately, their service mode leaves a lot to be desired. If they’re not busy, you won’t notice, but if they get busy at all it’s going to take forever to get your coffee and/or food. There’s no rhyme nor reason to how they fulfill the orders, so they’re filled out of sequence, sometimes ridiculously so.All that said, they make really good coffee. The shop is unique and kept clean and inviting. I’ll still keep coming back, but if they’re busy I’ll probably leave.
This coffee shop is exactly what we needed in downtown Lawrenceville. I’ve been here a few times and the service is great, and the atmosphere is relaxing and enjoyable. It’s a nice place to hang out with friends or to go to for a lunch meeting during the week. It hasn’t been too crowded each time I’ve gone, and it’s pretty easy to find parking close by also.
This place is so cute!! And the staff is genuinely nice. Super cool house that looks over downtown Lawrenceville.
Coazy little house in downtown Lawrenceville serving decent coffee, and skilled beverages. Id highly recommend the Cortada with one of their signature desserts. Food here is okay, but mainly come for the atmosphere. Study, relax and coffee!
Love this place. Girls are the best. Talkative and they make great chais and teas (I am not a big coffee lover). Stable Wifi, rarely completely full so you almost always will find a place to sit. Great terrace with cute lights. Never been on the second floor, wonder whats there. I really like the style, it gives some sense of hominess.
The look of this place is amazing. This was a place I really wanted to put on my website. The atmosphere is really nice and makes you want to come here with a book and order tea and a muffin. But after being amazed about the look and atmosphere it went down hill after that quickly. When I got to the counter I wasnt sure who was suppose to help me because the barista was chatting to a customer which is fine. But the person at the register was just staring at me I wasnt greeted at all. When the other customer left he turned to the barista and just talked to her.I told him it was first time here and he said welcome. An introduction of this place would be nice to hear about. I saw the same awkward moment happen with 5 customers.I sat at the bar to see if this happens to every customer and it did. The staff talk more to each other than their customers.I ordered a breakfast burrito. Watching how my food was handled I was shocked. The guy did where gloves but he was touching everything that wasnt my food and then put my burrito together. He handed my food to me with zero enthusiasm as if he was interrupted doing something other than his job. When it came out it was a nice presentation, the burrito was on point and my sweet tea was really good. But the beans and rice that came with my food was not all the way cooked. It tasted like it came from a box. The salsa was from a jar. I really couldnteat all of it.I saw a customer order avocado, egg, bacon on toast but they were complaining saying it taste like store bought guacamole.I have read a lot of reviews and I see the same comments about some of the food and definitely the customer service. It looks like you are rating high because the look of this place, your beverages and pastries. Which is fine if you want to get by. But I bet this place could be a hit on all the improvements that should be made.
Boulder Creek coffee used to be my favorite coffee shop on the entire planet. While the new location is in an adorable historic home and the staff is nice, the coffee and espresso is simply not the same. I’ve visited BC at least 8 times in the new location hoping that the espresso would be back to the original taste, but I’ve been disappointed each time. The shakers are much lighter then they used to be, and they taste watered down. I’m more sure if they have a new espresso machine but the quality of taste has now disappointed me.
Very nice place. Great coffee. Food is ok.
