I had a wonderful shopping experience at Fur Kids Thrift Store. The place was very clean, with great lighting. The store has a lot of nice items, including kids and adults clothing, nice furniture and a whole array of CDs, DVDs, and old records. I found a very nice gold heart pin for my wife, at a very fair price. I interacted with two ladies and they were very pleasant, courteous and showed appreciation for my patronage. I truly had a magnificent time and would definitely recommend others to visit it; you will not be disappointed.
The staff here are absolutely amazing! I came in looking for Halloween items, they were so accommodating that they went in the back to pull them out!!! I definitely will recommend this place to anyone! They have a very clean and creative setup. A very pleasant and uplifting thrift store. I will be back to visit every month! Thanks again!
Such a great thrift store. Phenomenal cause, its for the cats and dogs. Money from the thrift stores goes to their animal shelters!!! So even if you arent buying from here please donate here. I drive an hour out of my way to donate here. Tax deductible. And money is going to the furry friends
Excellent customer service with good prices. Nicer stuff than the Goodwill that is next door. In conclusion, My purchases fund the no kill shelters for cats and dogs
I absolutely adore this store. I havent been back yet, but the owners/workers were very friendly and kind, and I got to pet the adorable cat for a while!Definitely worth the time and money, and I love the cause too (they donate a lot of their earnings towards animals!)An absolutely gem of a store here in Lawrenceville!
I stop here every other month to drop off donations. Then I shop! They are well organized...last time I was there, gave my charity items to the volunteer at the back door. They had my donated items priced and on the floor before I went in the front door to shop!
Lots of good things from pet items to clothing, books etc..Stop by I gaurentee youll find something you like.Great friendly staffIts a fun and cool setting ☺️
One of my most Pleasant shopping experience. The employees were most kind
I absolutely love this place! I live about 45 minutes away from this thrift store, but since I love it so much, I am willing to take that drive! I love how affordable things are, the selection and quality of items, and the atmosphere. Also, I really like how items are dated. According to their dates, there are discounts! I always find something here everytime I go. I highly recommend this thrift store!! :) (I love the cat there too !)
Its a good place to go. They have some fun stuff, i found a really cool t-shirt there! And theres this fat orange cat there that can talk! ;)
Its okay. Lots of old stuff. And hard to find ifs and ends. Clothes are a bit on the more expensive side.
Great place, good prices.
A local gem in Lawrenceville, one of the best thrift/antique stores that are more curated than others. Was able to pickup this beautiful suede blazer and my time here was made well with the adorable cats that roam around. All the employees here are pretty chill too and will hype you up whenever you try on a fire piece. Do come here and give them your money in these tough times!
Its hard for meto shop here with big cat walking around. Makes me sneeze, the shoes and clothes here are good quality
Love the ladies that work here! Have lots of great stuff to chose from.👍👍👍👍👍👍
Amazing store. Quite organized. The prices are very good for the quality of the goods they have. I feel good when shopping here knowing it is contributing to a great cause to save for babies. There are actually real cats inside. Just be careful when opening the doors so no kitties could escape.
Love this store!! They even have 2 cats walking around in there to pet!:) nice used bargains not junky and very clean. Friendly staff as well

Everybody is very friendly and helpful. I have found some really nice things there. The best part is that the money goes to help the furry babies!
Furkids thrift store has great selection and sells great, unique and clean quality products, clothing, small kitchen appliances, pet products, etc..; Proceeds support a great cause.
I 💙💙 coming in here & seeing those BIG HUSKY cats.. Plus its for a great cause! I have cats of my own 😘 🐱.
Great variety. Nice purpose. Being right next to Rays donuts doesnt hurt. And petting the kitties is a huge plus!
Clean well stocked
They have the fattest cat I’ve ever seen in my life named Mama. She’s wonderful. Makes the whole trip worth it. 10/10
High price on dog bowl with stand.
Compassionate, proceeds go to benefit no kill shelters
I did a lot of thinking before writing this review. I have been a fan and supporter of Furkids for many years. Before the Lawrenceville thrift store location opened, I would drive almost an hour to the Holcomb Bridge Road location. That was always a pleasant experience. I was excited when I realized a store was open in Lawrenceville, which is much closer to me.I liked knowing that items my family and I donated could raise money to help the cats and dogs. We would try to put aside the best things to donate to Furkids-collectibles and other items we thought would sell, not junk.Over the past year and a half or so I have come to feel like my donations were seen as more of an inconvenience than a donation. Consistently, the women who have greeted me at the donation door have acted like it’s an inconvenience that they have to come open the door. Only once in recent memory did I feel welcomed. A young man answered the door. He was friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be there and to accept my donation.A few examples: Once I was told they do not accept Christmas items, except close to the holiday. Okay, I get that. They don’t have a lot of storage space. No problem. Another time I was told they don’t take books. I was surprised as I’d donated books before, but I thought no problem. I can take the books elsewhere. On a visit after that one I was told they don’t take framed art. I’d brought in a few nice framed, cat themed prints. When I said that I didn’t realize that, but I did know they didn’t take books the lady told me, “Oh no, we do take books, but not framed art.” It started to seem to me that what they will or won’t take varies, depending on who you happen to get answering the donation door.On my most recent visit I pushed the door bell and waited. No one came, so I though perhaps I hadn’t pushed the bell firmly enough to get it to ring. I continued to wait and then pushed again. The lady who answered the door gruffly told me, “We don’t open the door for people who ring the bell more than once.” She may have been trying to joke, but the look on her face and her demeanor told me that she was annoyed. She told me she was busy with customers up front as she threw the pet beds I’d brought across the room and then waited for me to carry in all the boxes I’d brought. She had no idea what was inside them, but when she saw a set of dishes she sighed and said, “We’re going to have to put a moratorium on dishes. We already have too many.” She seemed to try to lighten the mood when she apparently saw the look on my face, but the damage had already been done. I felt like telling her my husband and I had spent over an hour using a special product on the dishes to remove all the gray marks before we donated them, but I didn’t.I’ve asked myself why I would keep taking my donations to a group of people that don’t seem to appreciate them and that act as it’s an inconvenience to them. I have always been polite and friendly and observant of the fact that there are cats in the building and the back door cannot stand open. I love cats. I have three of my own. Hoping that it was helping the animals is why I’ve kept going back, even when I’ve faced rude staff and have felt disrespected. I think I am done though. I know we all have rough days, but it doesn’t cost anything to show a bit of kindness and gratitude. My experience has been that you will not receive that from most of the staff at the Lawrenceville store location. That’s a shame.
Love shopping here and supporting such a great cause!
They have the fattest cat to pet while you shop 😻
Lady running the store at the time of my visit was screaming at this hispanic family to not let their children chase and hurt the cats (the kids absolutely were NOT doing anything wrong. calmly walking and even getting down onto their knees before petting the cats) and then she forced the family to leave the store.when I took my items to the counter to purchase, the lady tried to get me to side with her and say she was right in what she did.I told her I was going to leave the items on the counter, not going to donate my money like I had planned either, and leave and never return, and i’m writing a review on her because she’s clearly racist and very hateful. and that I would tell all my family and friends about what I had just witnessed. horrible experience. you couldn’t pay me to return.(i’ve also had absolutely terrible experiences at the furkids shelters, so this all came as no surprise)
Great selection, clean, friendly cats :3
