Best place in Davis County Utah, in my opinion, for coffee, Im a loyal customer!

Grounds has been one of my favorite coffee spots for years! They’re always so nice and personable as well as having the best drinks! I was there a few weeks ago with some friends and Dexter helped us out. DEXTER IS THE BEST. he is so sweet. He was incredibly patient with us being indecisive, and gave us really great drink recommendations. Thank you so much. Even though my friends and I already love this place it was nice to see someone who went above and beyond the experience that is already always incredible.

Lovely quaint shack of a coffee spot. Only wish it was in a cooler location. Im sure its a profitable location by being on 89 but theres nothing else around other than the highway and the gas station. Quality coffee too.

I moved to Layton about a year ago. I finally gave this place a try last year and I am happy I did. Super friendly and outgoing staff. They are fast, coffee is great, and they always give my dog a treat. I love Grounds for Coffee.

This is a nice little coffee shop. It is right off the highway and is defiantly the best coffee around this area. It is hard to find a good shop up here but Grounds For Coffee was great. A lot of options and pretty fast considering how busy it normally is. They even have a drive through, which is nice. If you are in the area and looking for a tasty cup, this is the place. Defiantly worth the stop.

Finally dropped into the little place Ive been curious but passing by for years. Looks like I may have a new haunt! Excellent beverage, friendly, efficient service, and a comfortable afternoon rest for this commuter!

My son and I stopped off at Grounds for Coffee, he had a medium Timor coffee and a breakfast sandwich. He said he enjoyed them both. I had a medium Hazelnut Cafe’ Latte and a Cranberry Walnut muffin. The latte was delicious and the muffin was tasty. The service was fast and friendly! And, it is conveniently located off of route 89 in Layton. Will most definitely return!

We ordered 2 large hot mochas with whip cream and they were so delicious! We are always looking for a good local coffee shop when we are traveling as we love supporting small business!

This coffee shop is hands down the best place you can go!!! They have several caffeine free drinks that are incredibly delicious. I have visited this location several times with my coworkers and even though our orders are large and complex, everyone receives what they ordered without any problems. All of the employees that I have met are courteous and will treat you like youre the most important customer theyve ever had. I love this place!!! I will continue to visit them for years to come.

Excellent coffee, fantastic baristas. The best cup of coffee Ive had anywhere. Every time I come to Ogden to visit family, I make it a point to stop by Grounds.

Always love me some Grounds for Coffee. Great atmosphere. Awesome drinks and always welcoming.I use this place a lot for networking. Nice place to set down and get to know someone.The decor is also fun to look at and get pictures of.

Beans are very reasonably priced, and tasty! Staff is friendly, and the shop itself cozy.

Baristas here are always awesome. The chai chiller is the bomb!

I’ve actually never had issues until the last two times I went, the first time I drove up to the side drive thru waiting for someone to come take my order it took 8 minutes of me waiting and all 4 cars in the window drive thru got taken care of before I had my order even taken. Then decided to give them another chance and I ordered a iced white chocolate mocha and I understand their called grounds for coffee but dang I didn’t know they give you grounds In your coffee, the first sip I took my mouth was full of coffee grounds and I had to gag it down since I was driving in my car. When I don’t have issues I enjoy the coffee.

We love this little shop. The staff is always so sweet and the drinks are great. Lavender London Fog is one of my favs!

Best place ever to get coffee

Great coffee... inordinate amount of waiting. Three or four people working... yet nobody wanders out to the line of cars to the point that drivers abandoned their cars to walk up to the window. Im guessing nobody has any organization skills. Its regularly slow.... and while I appreciate the defensive response.... Im telling you what I see. I have no reason to pretend. They need some direction

Construction is a beast on hwy 89 but the coffee and service are great once you get there.

I love this place so much, I wish it was closer to where I live. I stop here anytime I am heading to Ogden, the people are so nice and the service is very quick! Also every hot drink I get it so good but also the perfect temperature to drink right away, I love that!!

I always loved there italian ice chillers with all the different flavors you can choose from. They are usually busy, but serve you as fast as you can. Everyone is always friendly. I definitely recommend this place.

Greatest coffee place!!! Specialty coffees are less sugary tasting, making the drinks perfect. Lots of flavors, choices, selection of foods, and the employees are sweet, fast, and efficient! Love, love, this place!!!

I usually really enjoy this place but I went to a new location I’ve never been before and the lady working the drive through messed up my order. I called and came back to get my correct drinks and the lady tried to recharge me for the correct drinks and was extremely rude about that situation even though I specified what I wanted in the beginning and made sure she had wrote it down correctly. The manager was understanding of the situation and got the situation under control overall disappointed in the customer service I received today.

Im rating it as a three because its the average between one (being the only place you can eat is outside and you cant even go in to use their bathroom). Plus it was very dusty and dirty outside, not their fault, but road construction all over is making it loud and pretty much uncomfortable to sit and talk outside. The five that I would give them is for the quality of their drink. I ordered some kind of a mocha drink, I cant remember what it was, but it was fantastic! So the one for poor location, environment, and lack of utilities, and a five for excellent drink for an average of three. If you just want to get your drink to go youll be in luck.

This place was OK. Small, quaint, busy and there was only one barista working on A Friday night. He made a good hot chocolate. One of the best. Found out later he doesnt work there anymore so I guess I wont be going back. Hard to find anyone that can make a good hot chocolate, let alone one that also added a little latte art just for the fun of it.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops. Whenever I have time traveling from SLC to Ogden I stop here for a mid trip coffee or mocha chiller. I like that my coffee isnt too sweet or weak. Its perfect! Getting off and back on the road is so easy too!! Stopping by is always a good idea for any season.

I love grounds for coffee, but this location needs a little work. The sugar and cream area was piled with dirty dishes, the cream was empty, the counter was dirty. Could also use a little more selection such as cinnamon, cocoa etc. But mostly just kept cleared and stocked.Plus side, the coffee was good (of course) and the staff was friendly and quick.

A hot day perfect for blended iced beverages! They even accommodated and made a doggie friendly one! (Blended ice and almond milk)

This is the best one out of all the places they have. I will go back but. I wish they had a stronger coffee without it being bitter. I like to have 6 espresso shots in it. Nothing brewed.

I discovered this particular little gem of a place one morning after a short hike at Adams Canyon. Wonderful coffee with specials that will neither bore nor disappoint, and service from a friendly and competent staff. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owners one afternoon on another visit. After 10 minutes of conversation I fully understood the reason for their success. These are people who understand quality. Theyre also wonderful company and excellent conversation with a solid knowledge of Utah business and outdoor life. This place gets my top endorsement for coffee in Utah.

A welcome oasis!

I was at Skinners fruit stand next door..Just love the stuff they have there, got 3 jars of salsa, a couple bags of chips, some corn and some cherries.. Last week we got a quart of raw honey thats to die for.. I love summer 😁👌

I get coffee here every morning during the work week, and drive out of my way on weekends to visit. The coffee is well brewed and specialty drinks are always delicious. The staff is so friendly and fast! And I love bringing my dogs to get treats! This is where I tell anyone visiting to go to get great service and beverages.

Im on vacation and have stopped by here every day for a Dirty Chai. The girls working are always super sweet. I love the vegan/gluten-free options (even though Im not vegan or intolerant) and the peanut butter bars. Its been a very cozy place to stop by.

The small building, the background noise of workers making drinks, conversations, music and the not too overpowering smell of coffee roasting....just like having coffee in the little coffee shops in Europe and Africa. ....sit down, enjoy good coffee and pastry, put aside their troubles and enjoy each other and the moment !So thank you ladies (and the token young gentlemen) for providing us with a place of refuge and for your patriotic service of bravely manning your drive-through station at 0600 !PS: Buy Local !!!! ..... It puts the money back in to the local community and not in Seattle ! (or Arkansas, China, etc..)

Normally Id give them 5 stars. But this last time I went in and got a medium coffee with a splash of coconut milk. It was over $3. So I ask about it and the kid behind the counter says they have to charge me $1 for the coconut milk...? Seriously? It was a splash.

One of the true “coffee shops” left in the area. Great customer service, chill vibe, and excellent coffee. Also, the location right off of US89 makes this place a terrific stop on the way to work. Highly recommend.

Amazing! Glad I went here for my coffee. We ordered a few cinnamon rolls with our mocha chillers absolutely delicious and one of them ended up being a blueberry cream cheese roll all of it was homemade and amazing! If I find myself looking for coffee in Davis county I know where to go!

Cheaper than chain restaurants, without all of the sugar dumped into the drinks. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

The atmosphere here is great. The customer service is amazing. we are always greeted here and have good conversations with the employees. My boyfriend and I will sit here for hours talking on the outside patio, watching cars pass. Plus in the summer it’s right by a little farmers stand. We love to get fresh veggies and our coffee right by each other. :)

Great coffee shop! Theyve got a drive through if youre in a hurry or 2 outside patio areas. You can also go inside and sit and enjoy the art or read a book that theyve got.

We experienced extremely poor customer service by the manager and the young girl that works there. This place could not make a descent drink if they tried, by the way they don’t try! Don’t bother asking for the Manager or expect him to fix anything. He is completely incompetent. If there was a TV show “Coffee Shop Rescue” this place should be on the show. They need customers more than we need them. Urine would taste better than any coffee, latte, or drink this place can produce.

By far my favorite local coffee shop! The staff and owner are always kind and genuine. The shop itself provides a community feel with books to read and games to play. I love the authentic vibe!

At this place youll be treated with smiley faces and people who know what theyre doing with coffee. Ive been there when its slow and busy and both you get your coffee quick and good. Its a good place to just stop and get a coffee or stop and get a coffee with a friend and play chess, or read a book or whatever you expect out of a coffee shop they got and more.

I love that they were fast and friendly did not mind us asking what the drinks were or what was better. The hot coco was great my girls loved it and as for my white chocolate caramel frappe it was perfect. Definitely going to make Future stops

Love this location little gem! Has been consistently good since I discovered it four years ago.

Love the mocha chiller, especially with pumpkin! Which I just learned they have year around :) I drive out of my way on the way home from work to get this yummy treat! Management is also great here, if I ever have a drink that I dont like they make it right.

Cute place, friendly staff. Have only heard good things! Unfortunately I wasn’t a fan of the coffee chiller. The menu description said “thick, espresso shake” so I thought it was going to be a frozen espresso, but it was basically watered down coffee. Extremely pale and flavorless 😔. But, I think I just need to order something else. I’ll still be back!
