StarWest help me upgrade to another laptop. They installed Windows 11, moved all my settings and files. They were quick and efficient. StarWest made sure I understood all the changes this upgrade made and that I could rely on them to help with any future issues. I found their pricing more than reasonable.

These guys were awesome! Brought in the laptop thinking that it would be several hundred dollars and several weeks for repair. They had it done in less than 2 days at half the price I was expecting. Definitely coming back here next time.

This place is absolutely amazing!! I am literally writing this from their parking lot I am so happy.The fans on my graphics card went out last week and at first I went to PC laptops who told me that there was no hope and only offered me to buy a totally new card for over $800. No thank you. Wanting a second opinion I called these guys up and they were instantly 10x more helpful on the phone and gave me an idea of what I would be looking at for timeframes and prices.I stopped by in the morning on my day off and they took my information and computer and said they would take a look at the fans, see where they could get a replacement, and call me back. Sure enough within about 2 hours I got a call back with a couple options! By some stroke of luck they had my same card in the back refurbished and they were selling it for cheaper than it would be to fix my current card! Once I called them back they had the new card installed within the hour and I had everything done all in one day!Thank you to the guys at StarWest Computers!! You guys seriously saved my butt and I will always send people to you in the future!!

They got me in immediately, had my computer up and running the next day. Cost me $200, but hey, theres no such thing as a free lunch! It runs much faster now.

Efficient, friendly, quick, and very reasonably priced - everything you could hope for in a computer repair shop. We were having a hard time getting our motherboard to communicate with a new SSD drive (even though, spec-wise, it was suppose to communicate fine). They were able to fix it, install the new SSD, and even cloned our old drive over to the new one for us. Will definitely use them for computer trouble in the future.

Replaced hard drive in about 1/2 day and it works good.

Quick service when I got my screen fixed. Gave me multiple options instead of giving me the most expensive option and they updated the windows on my laptop without being asked and without charge. Definitely going to be doing business with them again.

I went to Starwest after seeing all these amazing reviews to fix my massive, and expensive desktop. They were honest(I may have caused more issues by trying to fix it on my own with thermal paste) and worked hard to save my beast. They did everything they could and found the issues, and solved them. I could not be more thankful for their help in saving my motherboard and finding the issue with my liquid coolant system.If youre worried about your PC and the hands it will be in, you dont need to worry with this shop. My PC is very important to me, and they saved it.

My dad recommended this place, when he had to take his desktop to get repaired. I decided to give them a go when my CPU was overheating. I dropped off my PC, and within a few hours I got a call that they figured out it was the liquid cooler not working properly. They were able to get it replaced, and everything is working great again! I purchased parts for a computer through my normal online supplier, not Amazon, put the PC together with minimal issues, and then it kept freezing when loading Windows. After doing everything I could to fix the problem without success I took the PC to them. They were able to diagnose the problem. Since I didnt purchase the parts from them and they were under warranty they suggested I just leave it there and when I get the replacement part they would just put it together and make sure everything worked. They did the computer works great and for me the best part is they did it all much cheaper than I expected. Thanks yall you did a great job. Now if MSI can do as good as you I would be really happy.

They are amazing. I was extremely heading in as I just moved into the area and did not want to get screwed but these are the nicest group of people I have ever meet! I took my laptop in and they repaired it for way less than anyone else would and when I told them I was looking at upgrading they had a no hassle way of walking me through some computers and what would work for me. A friend told me that this was the place to get a new laptop. So I called them from Logan and discussed some options. The prices were competitive and I decided to purchase a laptop from the. They even offered to drive to Brigham City to meet me because they had a technician on an on-site. I love the laptop and more importantly the service.

My computer stalled and would not load. Brought it into Starwest and discussed the issues with Sean. Within hours he had diagnosed the issues and offered a solution. He added a new solid state hard drive, restored all apps and files and added word and excel. He had my wife and I come in the next day and reviewed all files and answered all questions. Took the computer home and hooked up. Printer would not print. Called Sean and he took control of my PC remotely and downloaded and reinstalled my printer. Everything works perfectly. We were worried that hundreds of photos and thousands of songs would be lost. Sean saved everything including our sanity. Starwest provides superior service. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars. Starwest is the only computer shop I will ever patronize again. They have helped me repeatedly and every time they have been highly professional and efficient in their work. They know what theyre doing and you will not find a better computer repair shop anywhere. First of all Josh is like having an IT nerd super hero as your best friend. He is super savvy about all things computers. He has fixed many problems my PCs have had for my business without breaking a sweat. What is nice is he never trys to sell me more than we need. He understands the need and matches the solution to that need. On top of all that he is perfectly honest! On my main desktop I thought I had fried the system and took it to him in a total panic. He quickly figured out it was just a faulty connection cable to my monitor. He charged me nothing for his time. I will never go anywhere else.

A little over a year ago I bought a Lenovo laptop for school. It has been awesome! I was going to be home for a couple days so I took it to have it updated. They were fast and have been great to work with.

I went in late on a Friday (4pm) with what turned out to be a corrupted Windows 10 install. I had a business trip to leave for on Sunday and these guys were able to get my computer back to functioning and working flawlessly without losing my files, all before they closed. I was impressed at how quickly they were able to get this taken care of and was very grateful to them for being so good at their job. I even went back the next week and got an SSD put in and now my computer runs better than new.

I brought in my computer with a hard drive failure. I was devastated thinking I had lost all the photos I had stored on this hard drive with no other back up.After several weeks I was told that they were able to retrieve my photos. I was so delighted.I’m writing this review, not because I had a positive outcome, but because I had a positive experience. The first thing they tried did not work and so they were proactive in trying several different options. My only complaint would be they didn’t stay in touch with me at first on how long it would take. After I made a call and express my concerns, They kept me updated on the status of my hard drive. I understand only one in three situations like mine have success. I’m very grateful I was one of them.

Great computer repair business. They figured out what was wrong with the cooling system and fixed it for a different place. While most places try to sell you upgrades they didnt and actually convinced me not to upgrade. It looks like they build systems also.

I brought in my laptop because it was running slow. I thought that it had a virus or it was time for a new laptop. They were able to put in a faster hard drive and my laptop runs faster than the day I bought it. They replaced the hard drive the same day that I brought it in!

Star West Computes are so good to work with. They answer any questions and are quick to fix any problems. We bought a laptop from them a year ago. We had a little problem. It’s free diagnosis if you buy the computer from them. They had it fixed within one day and we had it back. I would refer them way over to going to Best Buy or a box store where you don’t get the help you need after you buy the computer.
