Went in for my first time in the evening, so Im not expecting fresh cookies. They changed my mind about sugar cookies: they perfectly crisped the edge and combined it well with the soft inside and light, super-sweet frosting. It tasted unique to any sugar cookie I have had, and I will definitely come back for more.The large chocolate chip was very bulbous in the center, and after chewing on some (probably) brown sugar, it was clear these were undercooked, so I was sad to find such an extreme difference from the great sugar cookie experience. Overall, not disappointed, and I would like to return to try their unique flavors.

Like this is for the sweet tooth that is serious. So many fun flavors, but toooo sweet for me personally. I did really enjoy the Carmel and oatmeal brownie bar over a couple of days, but the cupcakes were too much for me. If you LOVE sugar, this is the place for you.

Two girls working 11/1 closing, one girl is sweeping and working, the other sitting down on her phone flipping off her phone as if she was taking pictures on her phone, one with blonde hair was doing great she was working the dark hair girl just sitting on her phone in front of the window where all customers can see, wanted to go in but after seeing that I changed my mind, I get being on your phone when you’re about to close but at least hide it and stand and not act inappropriate where all your customers can see.

This is an awesome location, close to lots of other shops. The cupcakes were delicious with lots of yummy flavors. My favorite was the apple pie!!!

Very lacking. There isnt anything flavor-wise that you cant get at literally any other bakery, in my opinion. I was just hoping for a bit more imagination, given that they really hype their Cupcake Wars win, but there wasnt anything that made them stand out from other shops. Everything is cute to look at, but much too sweet to eat. The taste of powdered sugar really overpowers. I wish the prices were worth it, but nothing they offer is overly tempting.

Wow! The cookies here are really good. We try three or four different types and love them all. The hardest part is not buying one of every kind and eating them all. The person that helped us was very friendly and the store is very inviting. I would highly recommend their treats for parties, get togethers, or anytime you need a sweet pick me up.

Every location Ive been to (Layton, Foothill, St George) seems to be run well. Clean, friendly and everything tastes good. It is very sweet so some people dont like it but my family loves it. Tried to take a pic with all the cupcakes but they were eaten too fast.

I’m not much of a cake person. I don’t usually gravitate towards cake or cupcakes when it comes to dessert. But these cupcakes are the best I’ve ever had!!! This is what cake should taste like! Love love love this spot! They also have an amazing vegan brownie!

Edit: although the presentation was not as expected, after tasting the cake it leaves us less frustrated with the experience.The flavor of the cake is absolutely fantastic.The fairy cake is very dense but moist and the buttercream frosting is just sweet enough and full of flavor.Still wish that the process of creating the cake was more personalized and cooperative, but overall we are willing to try Sweet Tooth Fairy again - knowing what our options are and what exactly needs to be discussed.The flavor definitely bumps our rating up a couple of stars.First impression: Disappointed. My husband decided he wanted to splurge a bit and get me a professional cake for my birthday this year.He looked up some bakeries near by and found Sweet Tooth Fairy, he saw they had some good reviews and also noticed their participation in cupcake wars - a show he knows I like to watch.He went in to order something special - my being a lover of dark colors and astrology, he asked for a dark frosted cake with a starry night feel - he was told no to any dark colors because it “makes too much of a mess” so he asked what they could offer and they suggested a lavender/light violet color, he agreed and continued with personalizing the cake, which didn’t take long considering they didn’t give him many options.He paid and left a tip hoping it would give some influence to do a good job.When picking up the cake he was immediately disappointed -He went in wanting a dark colored cake, decorated with at least some piped borders and the usual cursive “happy birthday” on top - and came out with a very plain Jane creation, I am aware minimalism is a style right now, but that is not what he had asked for so he was left shocked.He decided to then go to a local store to buy some decorations so it atleast would have *some* personal touch that he was wanting.It’s hard to even review the presented cake because there’s not much to review.The frosting is not colored at all like he was told it would be and the font is not centered nor very elegant.He is dissatisfied and I am frustrated on his behalf because I know how busy of a person he is and how much effort it must have taken him to find the time out of his day to do something special for me without me noticing.We have not tasted the cake yet, but I am crossing my fingers the flavor lives up to the price.Unfortunately, this experience made us feel like we should have shopped a big box store instead, we could have gotten the cake design we wanted for half of the price.

My fiancé and I went into Sweet Tooth Fairy for our tasting to decide what we wanted for our wedding. The girl at the desk brought out our tray, set it down and said that the baker would be out shortly. We had 5 people in total, they sat us at a table for 2. They did not offer to pull up any chairs or extra seats. They also did not give us any napkins or enough utensils. The cupcakes themselves were delicious, no complaints there. The baker proceeded to walk past us back and forth 4 times saying I promise Ill be out soon. By the time we had tasted all of the cakes and frosting we still hadnt talked to the baker. Instead they sent out an intern to talk to us. She asked us if we had decided what we wanted, however we didnt know pricing, or designs or any other info. Since she was just an intern she did not have any answers to our questions and had to keep running back and forth to ask the baker who was still in the kitchen. As she was doing that we realized that we had not been offered any of the cupcakes that were in the display case, just the basic flavors. We asked the intern if we could sample those and she told us that it would be an extra cost. She also said there was nothing in the case that we hadnt already tasted, however everything in the case was different then what we had sampled. She also told us that those flavors in the case are seasonal. Our wedding is in October, so we asked what flavors they would have then, she couldnt answer that. We asked if the baker was going to come out and speak to us, but with no such luck. She was doing inventory according to the intern. I might add that each time she had to go back to the kitchen she was back there for about 10 minutes. We also did not get any discounts for ordering catering, the price was per cupcake ($3.00). We really felt like they should take these appointments more seriously. We were treated like 2nd class citizens, but we were giving them $200 for their food.In short, the people were rude, the service sucked and no information was given. They have lost our catering business and our business in general for the future. Bad customer service is unacceptable in our eyes.

We purchased two desserts around 7:00PM on a weeknight. It may just have been on off day for them but both desserts tasted quite dry. Everything else was great, the place looked very clean and the staff were friendly and quick.Update: Added a star because the owner personally contacted me. She seems genuinely interested in making sure her customers are receiving a quality product.

This was my first time here. Not sure if I just didn’t hit it when they’re more fresh, but almost everything I ordered was dry.

I love this place, I hardly ever get to go but when I do the customer service is amazing. They always have a smile on their faces and make you feel welcome and never try to upsale you on anything. My absolute favorite is their strawberry cupcake. My God its like it was made by God himself. The only thing I can say negative is the strawberries never look or taste fresh, you can tell they are frozen not fresh. Other then that I would highly recommend trying it. If I wasnt trying so hard to loose weight Id eat more. Be warned... their icing is very rich and as a bigger guy, I had a hard time finishing 1 cupcake.

The cupcakes are not only cute/beautifully decorated, but they always tasted so good. They are soft and flavorful and the frosting is THE BEST! I went on a whim it was my birthday and I cant have gluten. The lady was so nice, they did have gluten free treats. My cupcake was yummy. Gluten free treats that taste good are hard to find this one was delicious..

Very bland. I wanted to give them two stars because their items are packaged well and the box they come in is very cute. The items are definitely made with care. However, I tried the boston cream and red velvet cupcakes as well as three of their cake bites and they were kind of gross. The cupcakes were very dry and were super loaded down with icing, more than anyone would need and the whole thing was lacking flavor. The cake bites were awful. They had the worst consistency. Typically, cake bites are cake molded and dipped in chocolate. The seem to mix theirs with icing and it makes this wet, almost regurgitated texture. It was inedible. I hate leaving negative reviews but I spent a lot of money on a box of mixed items and they were incredibly disappointing. Better than Crumbl Cookies though.

THE BROWNIES ARE HEAVENLY!! Wonderful employee recommended we microwave them for ten seconds and it made them even better, place is always clean, the employees are always kind and helpful, and make sure you’re sweet tooth is satisfied before you leave

I had passed this cute bake shop quite a few times but we had never went in until recently. Well I have a feeling we will become regular customers! My kids said they were the BEST CUPCAKES EVER and have already asked if they can go for their birthdays! It was as cute on the inside as the cupcakes were delicious. You cant go wrong!#LFTHX

A lot of people will probably like these cupcakes. I know most children who crave sweets will. Just take them early in the day so they will be wound down by bed time. Both my Wife and I thought that they were way too sweet. We are still looking for a local bakery where pastries are more Japanese or European style, not over-sweetened.

I absolutely love this Sweet Tooth Fairy location! The staff is always so nice and accomidating. I drive through Utah every few months, and always custom order a couple of deluxe cookies. They are always happy to make them for me, and I usually end up buying more while I am there. The bakery items are always good, you dont have to wonder if its going to be good that day. Best cookies ever! Please dont ever get rid of your jumbo cookies :)

Super sweet, super delish. Fat kid heaven. They have gluten free options, havent tried them though. I love their bogo deal two hours before close, such a deal! We stop several times a month and I think we mag need an intervention before the year is out!

I love getting treats for my mom from here since she isnt from utah but was very disappointed in the cake that I bought for my daughters first birthday. It was very poorly made and with very little care. The taste was great but it was disappointing on how it looked. I expected so much more for the price I paid for it. I wouldnt buy a cake from here again. :( my mom could have made a better looking cake then the one we got. The reason why we didnt use my mom was because she was coming from out of town for only a few days. Very sad on the quality.

At least for everything Ive tried. I am only giving 4 stars just because of the price of the gluten-free cake I ordered. Im very used to having to pay a little more for bakery itemsor other gluten-free items. I know the ingredients are more expensive, and its harder to make gluten-free items. Which by the way, the gluten-free cake is AMAZING!! Very moist, and it holds together!! Delicious! Ill be back! 😊

Gluten Free Review: I have Celiac disease so I am always trying new bakeries for delicious gluten free baked treats. This place had a tray of options. I tried two of the cookies and the cake bites. INEDIBLE! Save your money and go to an exclusively gluten free bakery. Gluten free should not be an afterthought and can (and is done) so much better.

Our boss brought in a box of cupcakes from here and they were amazing. The peanut butter chocolate one was SO GOOD! Really strong peanut butter flavor in the frosting and the cupcake part had a wonderful chocolate flavor. Definitely recommend!

There was a problem with my order. The owner contacted me to make it right and handled it very well. That interaction turned my experience around and appreciate that level of service!

My wife went in to asking about pricing for our daughters birthday. The Assistant to the manager told my wife she didn’t have time to help go over the pricing. The staff was not helpful and we have since decided to go to another bakery with our order. We will not be returning.

Absolutely terrible! Overpriced for dry treats! Walmart has better cupcakes! Been there 3 times hoping they would be good. We paid $16 for dry cupcakes and extremely dry cookies. Had to be at least 2 days old. Honestly any grocery store has better desserts for way less money!

The cupcakes are super cute to look at but they do not taste good at all. We tried 6 varieties as a group and shared and all agreed they were icky. I wish the taste was as good as the presentation. Three dollars for one yucky cupcake. Save your $ for a better bakery.

These folks have a remarkable amount of turnover. And, no AC. Add to that an employee cautioned my daughter to not bother applying for a job.

I dont understand their success at all. Coconut cupcake tastes like bland vanilla. Betty Crocker chocolate cake mix creates better chocolate taste. They compensate for poor cake flavor by loading on the super sugary frosting. Not worth the money.

I used to be a regular at the sweet tooth fairy, stopping by 2 or more times a week for a delicious treat.. However I stopped going into the sweet tooth fairy about the time when they went on cupcake wars, when they made the rise to fame in the cupcake world the overall quality of their product went down hill. Instead of light fluffy cupcake; they became dense, chewy and dry... Their frosting became overly sweet to the point of making you sick to your stomach. The product quality went down and the price went WAY up, it was obvious they were focusing on how much money they could make instead of how well they could make a cupcake and satisfy a customer. Its a shame to see what a little bit of a spot light can do to a company that was focused on the food and customer satisfaction. If you think their cupcakes arent all that great, then just wait until you get to experience their customer service, the employees are rude, and they rush you to help the next customer, they arent friendly and act is if they have something better to do than help you pick your desserts. I once would have given them 5 stars, now they are barley deserving of 1.

Sweet Tooth Fairy Is not so sweet.I called asking for 6 German Chocolate cupcakes for my Husband for his bday, and still wanting more than just the 6 I wanted to hand pick some others from the front when o got there. I was planning on picking up on Friday. They called me back to ask for a specific time which im ok w that, and than she wanted my debit #, which usually im cool w but im stuck sick in bed and asked if we could just handle that tomorrow when I pick up. I got a yea, w a click and dial tone.... where im from thats not good customer service I literally chose you guys out of so many bakeries to include a bakery in Park City. Utah. Yup im willing to travel for good customer service and a great bake. So I called her back and said, girl you just hung up on me.... as she stuttered trying to find the reason why she decided to abruptly disconnect our call. Especially when she called me.... nope it wasnt a mistake, she said she thought we were done.... yes. Were sure done. I just went across the street to give them my order.... or did you forget that target bakery. Kneaders bakery... is literally your neighbor.Learn to be nice to ppl. And maybe ppl will chose you.❤CK

My cupcake tasted old and it had a very dry texture. It was towards the end of the day, but I dont believe thats a good reason for a bakery that specializes in cupcakes to sell an old one at the same price as fresh.

Passing thru the area yesterday. Thought we would try this place out. 1st thing you notice when you walk in, are the accolades on the wall of how great their stuff is. Place is a bit pricey in my opinion. But purchased a cupcake, lemon bars, brownies. While they looked terrific. 1st bite of each item told a different story. Dry and stale. Which made it obvious that the stuff was not freshly baked that day. Had I known. I would have went to Walmart and bought some stale bake goods. And saved my self money. Definitely dont recommend this place. Terrible!
