This is literally one of my favorite stores. I tell everyone I know to save your money and buy their tools here!The staff is always helpful and professional. I have found too many gems to mention here. Its great that they have such a huge selection of tools and other stuff that a guy needs!Customer for LIFE!!!

Love this store because everything I need is here. Even the stuff I need in the future. The prices are amazingly fair and reasonable. Well maintain and clean. No other can compete. My cashier Emily, was really knowledgeable and Informative. Pleased with the service and all the advice on getting the warranties, as well as getting the membership. This whole time I’ve been shopping here no one told me about the membership outside of the basic one I already had. Now I have the one that gives me 200plus coupons.

Clean store thats well signed. Easy to find what I was looking for. Parking for a tractor trailer. I ran in and grabbed 3 items, waited in a short line, paid, and was out the door. Id shop here again.Hill field road exit. Go west. T/R at the light then T/R at the next light (Krispy Kreme right there) and T/L into the parking lot or the dock area behind the buildings. You could also go past that light and turn into the lot near the Italian Ice place up front.

Harbor freight is wonderful place to find reasonable prices. We can always find the things we need for a good price. I do wish that they offered paint and spray paint. I love the coupon for free items that come in the mail. Staff is always friendly and store is clean. Very organized. Never had a problem with return because they email the receipt and I can always pull it up. Rachel is a friendly and awesome employee. She is always helpful and knowledgeable.

Decent tools at really good prices. The hand tools are generally great for frequent use but anything electric or pneumatic Id recommend going elsewhere if its going to see more than occasional usage. All in all, though, great store, especially if on a tight budget!

Harbor freight is changing and Im seeing some higher quality tools for sale. I do miss the economy items but glad to see some better stuff replacing those items.

Great place for tools, theyre as good as your high quality name brand tools.

They didnt have the product they had advertised. So they knocked 10% off another item. They tried really hard to find me the right item but none in stock. Good customer service.

If you do simple home repairs and dont use tools very often this is the perfect store. The tools are inexpensive and get the job done. They are not professional top grade brand name tools. But very few people need those types of tools. So Harbor Freight is a great place to shop if you dont need name brand tools.

When I walked in, the cashier yelled that I am supposed to have a mask on, I ignored her and went down the isle to get what I was there for when a second employee yells a little louder than necessary that I need to put a mask on. BTW I did have a mask on, my nose was exposed. When I got to the front to stand in line I noticed the young boy ahead of me had his mask on properly, but absolutely no footwear. DO YOU PEOPLE NOT UNDERSTAND CLEANLINESS IS KEY!!!

As a man... this is one of the only places I go to, essentially, window shop and maybe purchase some random thing I didnt know I wanted until I saw it.

Great place for home tools and certain tools, mainly hand tools for maintenance technicians.

Its a place to get some cheap tools if youre in a bind. But if youre a professional you might want to consider getting tools somewhere else they may not last for very long if youre just a homeowner looking for you know just to tool just for a one-time use then this place is for you.

Amazing deals here! We were buying power tools for the first time and it was a good experience. So much nicer to shop here than at Home Depot for tools and such. The staff seem limited, but they were very nice and super helpful.

This is my go to for great tools at cheap prices but for the price sometimes you come out with a diamond in the rough and the workers there are very good at inventory control and finding what you need. Only downfall is wish they had by online pick up options as they currently do not

Lots of selection at good prices. I appreciate the Craftsman tools with the same warranty as Sears used to have. If it breaks or is otherwise unusable, bring it in for the same tool exchange. No receipt or time limits.

Robert at this store rocked today! Had a horrific situation/experience w/the HF in West Valley. Called this store, Robert found what I needed, pulled it to the front of the store, rung me up, then loaded it in the car. What service!!!! West Valley should learn from this store and Robert !

I know people have mixed opinions about harbor freight tools, you just have to be careful what you buy there. I usually buy hand tools and sockets, and if I ever have an issue with them I take them back and they just exchange them with no questions asked. I do a lot of mechanical stuff and the sockets and screwdrivers and basic hand tools have never let me down! I just put the ones that break into a box and I go back with six or eight items every couple years and just get new ones. Thats what I did today. The store wasnt very crowded, and the employees were super nice! They sent me to look for my own replacement items, and check out was fast and easy.

Love Harbor Freight! From the great selection and quality, to the prices, sales that always seem to be going on, to the extra coupons, and benefits from rewards membership!! Always a good find at Harbor Freight! Its my place to shop for tools! This time of year you can always find a great stocking stuffer or two, what an added bonus!

I love harbor freight. The tools are items are not high end, but Im not a professional who uses them every day so they are perfect for me. The service itself is a little lack luster. I went on Sunday and I could tell that the dude in his pink hoody was not happy to be there. Seemed very annoyed with everything. The poor lady who needed help behind me in line got a short answer that left a few eyebrows raised. Ill still be back for the good deals and the items that I need.

I have always had a good experience at Harbor Freight. I usually go for the coupon deals. The employees make sure I remember the free item I can get with my coupon.

Broke down on a road trip. Called ahead to see if they had the items I needed. When I arrived at the store, they had the items I needed at the register..it was a hectic day and it was awesome someone took the extra step to make it a little easier. ..so Thank you Harbor Freight..someone did a great thing and I would normally thank them personally..but in the moment I didnt get the name of who helped me. I was very appreciative of the help...

Went to the Layton store to pick up a work bench. The store is well organized. The employee I talked to was very helpful. The product isnt the greatest but it will suffice for now.

Great place to shop for tools

Disappointed that they do not have a roller tool chest in stock. You need to pay for it and wait months for it. Keep the supply available. The explanation that is is due to Covid is getting old.

As always good prices. Long lines at checkout. Staff tries to be helpful if you can find them 20 years ago I bought an unbranded 4 lb hammer from them in Memphis. The handle finally broke . I took it to the Memphis store and explained when and where I bought it at their old location. They were actually proud to replace it! Quality of tools has improved enormously over the years . Its my first stop if I need a tool.

Absolutely one of my favorite places to shop. Most of my tools have come from here at a significant savings. The 90 day return for any issues has been great. I only needed to use it once and there were absolutely no questions asked.

I love Harbor Freight as much as the next person. This location has a wide selection of inventory. However, the staff at this location may be knowledge, but they are rude.

Cheap tools from China. Even the American flags they sell are from China. If you need a tool for maybe one or two times of use Harbor Freight may be the place to go, or a pawn shop. The people that work at our local store are great. No complaints at all. I just not very happy with China.

So disappointed in the lack of enforcement of mask policy. I don’t feel safe shopping here.Update 12/4- I gotta say that they are doing a better job with enforcing masks, which I appreciate. This store still sucks though so I’m leaving my star rating unchanged.

Im a craft person and I usually always find what I am looking for here some of the tools are a little bit on the cheaper side but in a bind theyre great theres other tools that are high quality for a cheaper price if you read reviews online itll give you an idea of whats good and whats not.

Its Harbor Freight! What more is there to say? Many of the tools are cheap and, basically, disposable, but you lknow that when you walk in the door.

The store was missing alot of items . Like there would be a place for tools, socket sets, plier sets, ect . But like not re-stocked or out of stock from Supplyers, is what the cashier mentioned ? Other than the unusual lack of inventory, the store is great as always, low prices . Friendly staff. Coved 19 precautions. Everyone in the building wearing masks . Being safe. All good.

Great store! Too much to see, too little time!

This Layton store location is well run.Inventory is always abundant and store is kept clean and tidy. Seems to have a larger selection than a lot of the Salt Lake City stores.

If they don’t have it you don’t need it. Buy the warranty. Chances are if you use the product it will have some kind of mechanical failure, but the replacement process is super simple.

Picked up two 20ton. Jacks and they did the job

Reasonable price for tools

Harbor Freight is what it is. Dont go there expecting to find high quality, long-lasting stuff. You definitely get what you pay for. But if you need something quick or for occasional usage its a good place to check out. That said, there are still some really good things there; you just have to be diligent and do your homework.

Love Harbor Freight, but this location seems to run out of sale items quickly, and the staff arent quite as friendly as other locations.

I just picked it up and havent had time to put it together yet. I can tell you better after it is assembled. It costs a pit more then I expected so I really hope it worth it.

Husbands favorite place to shop.

Walking in harbour phrase morning around 10:30 a.m. we were expecting to get the customer service that we received last night November 7th when we bought the compressor that we bought. While this morning that was a totally Different story. When we 1st walked in we had the compressor that we bought last night plus the receipt in hand we then put the compressor in our shopping cart so we can do look at the bigger compressors so we could exchange it and spent more money with this company. When we walk through the front door nobody greeted us like they had the night before nobody asked us if We need any help or assistance, when I proceeded to ask a cashier employee female blonde hair for help she would not look at me she just kept stocking the shelf that she was stalking and ignored me I then asked her again if they had a compressor that we had seen on line she said no were out did not even turn to look at me so I proceeded to go back to look at the other compressors to see if they had some around the store. They did not. I then went over to my friend and told him about my experience with her and he said ok well if she is going to act like that we will go to a different one. Then when we left we took the compressor out of the shopping cart we had placed it in and the receipt for that item. When we got back into our car a loss prevention man came out and was taking down my license plate number. My friend opened his door and said excuse me can i help you, the man ignored my friend completely. My friend then got out of my car and said excuse me can i help you the man then turned around and with the most nasty tone said nope. And i then got out of my car and asked him multiple times why are you taking down my license plate i havent done anything wrong. He just smirked at me and said ok turned his back to me and walked away into the store. So i called layton police to have them come out and make sure that i wasnt being wrongly accused by anyone. Because of the lack of respect and lack of communication of the harbor freight employees this morning.
