I had a pleasant experience with Arthur, I really appreciate his patience and his time given that I was the last customer in there and not makin it easy on him. I take a star off only because one of the managers who tried to pressure me into paying the documentation fee by saying he was already loosing money on the deal and if I didnt pay there was no deal. Thankfully I had done my research and knew this was a lie. Finally Arthur was able to deduct the fee from the vehicle price and left a happy customer.

Was promptly taken care of by a girl named Kris. By far the nicest person there. She made my appointment on the phone and even met me at my car. Kris took my coupon, reviewed it, AND got my name right (printed on coupon)! Kris was professional, informative, and made me feel comfortable to be there. I was working on my laptop, and Kris even helped me by taking my payment to the cashier and bringing me back my receipt and details of my car. Kris made me feel better about finishing my work on my laptop there, even though my car was complete and ready to go. No one else really said hi to me or acknowledge my sitting there the entire time. If I could give this dealership a 0 stars, I totally would!!! When you come up with a deal and then they dont follow through-not only is it disappointing (just because you could get more from a person desperate for a new car), but that 2 thousand extra dollars cost you all my future business. When I bought my rogue in 2018, I was so happy with your service that I came back 3 years later to buy another one. I didnt NEED a new car, I WANTED a new car. And all you did was waste my Saturday afternoon and make me rethink, not just buying another vehicle from your dealership, but EVER buying another NISSAN period. I wont be back and neither will my husband (who really wanted to upgrade his truck next year) and I will make sure that Ill never recommend this dealership again. You must have all the business you need!!

Hello Everyone!I came here to trade in my Xterra for a truck with a hitch. Galvins was my sales person, but Everyone was nice and friendly. They offered drinks and snacks while I waited. My truck wasnt ready🤔by the time I had to leave to work🤯, so they gave me a loaner😁 and cautioned😯 me about the traffic on my way out! I highly recommend this dealership!👍RachelP

For a airbag recall fix, they came to my house and fixed in my driveway at my convenience including on a Saturday. AWESOME SAUCEM!!!Not like the Other Nissan Dealer down the road who dont do recall repairs on a Saturday. Excuse me, but its defective though no fault of mine, I work M-F and Im not losing pay because you dont do defective part recall repairs on a Saturday, so they lost a future customer, but Clear Lake Nissan you gained a future customer.Happy 😊 Camper!!! First time car buyer, and if I could I would definitely come back to Clear Lake Nissan and buy my first car here again. Gerald, who was the employee who assisted me throughout the whole thing, was very polite and helpful into getting me the car I wanted, the color I wanted, and for the price I wanted. He even has called me up and checked up on me to see how I was liking the car so far! I’ve recommended a friend whose looking to purchase a car(also a Nissan Kicks) to Gerald, that’s how great he was. And the best part? I was in and out of the dealership in no more than like, 1hour. Maybe an 1 hour and 30 minutes tops. So please, shout out to Gerald Imes for helping me through my first car buying experience.

I got approved thru BOA at good rate. Shopped to see if Dealer could beat it, they only wanted to compare. Secondly, show terms that mostly interest me that Im explaining too you, topresent to manager. Thirdly, know your product how it functions. Know how to get to the pricing that gets monthly payment inline on what Im asking for, options available. Very important if theirs other add-ons that come with purchasing make me aware, that pricingcould increase not hit blind sided, from finance manager(FM). Last but not least FM fast pace thru protection plans no explanations, that this adds increase this you dont want, horrible!!! I may cancel the contract before (60) days

Well they say first impressions are everything. As a very proud 4-time BMW owner, this Nissan dealer reminded me that when it comes to good customer service, Im better off sticking with my normal BMW friends at Advantage BMW midtown. The awesome team at Group 1 Auto (Advantage BMW) never give me a hard-time when needing to return something, i.e. car accessories.Bought a cargo net as a gift for my elderly mom whos groceries would sometimes fall out of the back of her 2017 Rogue. However, upon installation, it was determined that the net would not provide the hopeful purpose. I returned to the dealership parts counter to return the cargo net, however, the gentlemen that was helping me did not know the answer when asked if my money would be returned to the original form of tender. He seemed a little confused about my question. I will presume he is still in training? No worries.Further, he advised that I would be charged a 15% restocking fee. I challenged by stating that a customer should not bear the cost that a multi-million dollar corporation is passing on to them on the basis that the dealer opts to not stock OEM items for the cars for which they sell.Further, the gentlemen seemed distracted by another customer who arrived after I did, and during our discussing in reference to the above.Terrible customer focus. 1 star for this guy. 1 star for this dealership.I guess I am spoiled to companies who pride themselves in a delivering personal attention and great customer service to clients.Brands like Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Ave - Galleria, Graces Upper Kirby have all taught me what good customer service looks like. And Nissan Clear Lake has a lot of learning to do.

Had a USED car advertised for 25900 or so, got there and they added $3500 addendum & was told I should have read the fine print which stated dealer price can change at any time. I was called repeatedly for days by their ad department to come check out the car, I drove over an hour to hear this nonsense. If you add $3500 to every car state that upfront, stop being a wuss about your price. Of course I left on principle, false advertisement cannot be rewarded, this is for wasting my time, I charge by the hour too.

Staff and technicians were really professional and informative at this location. I went in for transmission service and they were able to answer all my questions. They also preformed a curtesy check on my vehicle and sent videos to my phone allowing me to choose which services I wanted done based off the recommendations.

From the service rep to the guy that did the service. The service rep did not say everything that was wrong with my car when I picked it up. Nor did I get an text saying my car was ready or any kind of updates.The tech did not rotate my tires and someone is lining about my breaks. Tech says they a warn. But I had them replace at this dealer in March 2021 no way I can wear them down in 6 months.They have service my car since 2011 and this was the worst service I have ever had with them.

So it is 9am Saturday October 9th, I visited this location for an oil change and when I pulled up Kristie greeted me with a smile on her face. I told her I was here to get an oil change and she told me they usually only do appointments on Saturdays but since I was the first person here which was at 7am that they could squeeze me in. I had spotted a sign near the pull up drive way that they do state inspections here so I asked her if I could get that done as well she stated that would be no problem. So she took the keys and my insurance card and got started. I waited two hours and while I was waiting they kept me updated through text messages showing me video footage of my inspection. Once the video came through, then the estimate for the additional things that needed to be done was sent and came out to $1,329.41 before taxes. I declined all of these additional services because I was pressed for time. Then, other people who showed up after me “most likely with appointments” were starting to get called to the front to pick up their vehicle. So I continued to be patient and wait my turn. I went up to the service desk and asked what was the status of my car; Kristie stated that it was ready and it wouldn’t be much longer for the paperwork. Finally, she came inside to the cashier desk and told me that my oil change had been done and to sign here, here, and here. That’s when she left I paid the cashier and I decided that this was a huge mistake. After waiting for two hours for an oil change and state inspection only the oil change had been done. My key was off my key ring and placed in the cup holder and my insurance card was on the dash board. It’s as if after the additional services were not chosen to be done they had no interest in me or my car. Do your self a favor and go somewhere else for an oil change.

This was my first time at this dealership and I had a fantastic experience. The shuttle to get some food and do a little shopping while I waited for my car maintenance to be completed was a nice touch. Will definitely return for all my Nissan Altima maintenance needs. Also, I would like to add I didnt feel like I was being taken advantage of, the customer service rep and the maintenance tech only told me about things that were necessary to be fixed on my car. I love that.

Service is always great; staff professional. My only complaint with Nissan is the borderline harassment, after the service visit, asking for survey responses over and over and over. Between the personal asks, the texts and emails, they ask at least 8 times, AFTER I’ve already replied to the survey request, in writing!I’m this close to using a local auto shop vs the dealer. Otherwise, this review would be five stars plus.

My sister and I went in to purchase a car about 1 month ago. Since she doesn’t have extensive credit history, we were happy when Brad was able to get her financing under her name only. We returned to the dealership 2-3 days later to cancel the warranty, as it was $2500 more than what Brad had discussed ($1000). Now, 1 month later, my sister gets notification that the bank did not approve her loan… really. A month later. I called Brad, the finance guy and told him that that was BS. How can they allow my sister to take the car without approval. He mentioned he could not discuss anything with me, as I was not on the contract. I told him that I felt all this was due to us cancelling the warranty ($2500) and only keeping the other part that was discussed ($1000). He later called my sister and told her that she needed to go in and sign paperwork with a higher interest rate and that I was not allowed to go into the dealership. Great customer service (sarcasm). Although, Aaron was great to work with, I do not recommend this dealership.

I brought my Titan in for an oil change. I was told it would take an hour and a half for oil change and free multipoint inspection. While I waited I received a couple text messages with links for additional service they found while doing the inspection with option to accept or decline. The prices for the service was in the link also. I even received a video with technician explaining the inspection areas and how each area looked. Impressive. Vehicle was done in an hour with a complimentary wash. I recommend their service any day.

Please save yourself some time and not go to this dealership. It’s more like your doing a favor to buy a car from them. Absolute waste of time and I feel like your judged by the budget you give them for the car you want. They do not answer to your questions instead you’ll just find yourself listening to something that’s not even related to the question you’ve asked. They had a summer sale event happening and not once did they even mention about it. Absolutely got me so irritated being there. It’s funny how they expect you to buy a car from there without having the actual car and judging me as to why I’m not getting the car now or doing a credit check.The finance manager was helpful and straightforward though. My wife and I drove 80 miles only for them to try and sell us a completely different vehicle on the down low. We asked to see the vehicle several times and was told it was in the back being cleaned, it wasn’t until I NOTICED the numbers on the paper they wanted me to sign didn’t match up to the vehicle we were there to buy. On top of that there is a non-negotiable $2,987 charge on all used vehicles for frivolous things such as window tint, nitrogen inflated tires, gps tracking devices and a maintenance plan.The payment was was outrageous.We went to Robbins Nissan and got a newer truck with less miles for a lesser price and the payments were almost half of that of clear lake.

It was a cluster from the beginning. Couldnt find my car, then they couldnt find the key. Took three weeks to return my car to me over a starter!!! A starter!! I had to rent a car for two weeks one week from Clear Lake Nissan because I still had to get to work. No reprieve from the bill...nearly $1300 for a starter!!! Oh and to top it off, your agent, Kris, stated they normally only service new cars... seriously? I have a 2006 Nissan Sentra still ON THE ROAD...and youre telling me the new cars arent built as well??? Absolute worst experience I have ever had trying to buy a vehicle! After we couldn’t agree on a price I left, they called back a few hrs later and and we were able to agreed on a out the door price. As soon as I get there they claim they have to add $300 for tax, frustrating but oh well I’ll still take it. I start doing the paperwork and they add another $1500 into the price so now we are at $1800 above the price we agreed on as the out the door price over the phone. What a complete waste of time of time! Shop somewhere else so you don’t waste yours!

It is no longer the same it is unfortunate that I will no longer be a customer to this location after Im being told two different things. We had a deal worked out Saturday, I had a buyers order in my hands for a Nissan Kicks. We agreed on the price, I got the down payment together and I am back at the dealership Monday. We submit a loan application, we were going to buy it same day. My wife works at a bank, so because of that the manager, Chad decided that I have to pay $2,000 and change more. Absolutely despicable... He sat at the table and told me Your wife works at XYZ bank, there is no way you are not going refinance it as soon as you get out the door. They pulled a credit report this morning, my wife was included as a party, it CLEARLY listed that she worked at the bank and he ran the credit report anyway. His justification for the higher price was because she worked at the bank. He could have called and said what he was going to do BEFORE pulling our credit, that way we could tell him no. Then, he had the audacity to deny it when I figured out he had already pulled the credit report on the phone.He said he was going to get it pulled, but if you already lied this much I believe it when I see it.I have been telling my mother driving a 2008 Prius with mechanical issues that she would be getting a new car this whole weekend, and last minute they brought the car up to a price I could not afford after we had a deal. Thumbs down, highly do not recommend.Ignore the fake reviews!

I Went there to get a car the car salesman cheated me into a vehicle. and it backfired long story short I ended up having to return my vehicle that I had already paid for and completed the paperwork for. big inconvenience and I definitely feel slighted because no one wanted to address the issue before it got that far or even after Ive already had the car for weeks it took me to call them and Corporate. and then not only that they took it upon themselves to write a review on my behalf when those werent my words when yall already knew initially the sale was incomplete before I drove off the lot. they werent honest with me during the process but used me for their benefit to complete a sale and get a good review and now im out of a car big inconvenience and I wouldnt trust them to put me in anything else.

They took my deposit and trying to keep it. They are claiming they want compensation for services that were never rendered. They were upset with me because I found a better deal elsewhere now the top manager is trying to keep my money, I would not recommend my worse enemy to this place. All they want is a sale. They do not care about the customer. Ryan was the only helpful person during my 4 trips there.

This is for the service department. They were excellent. Aaron, my service advisor and Trey the master tech really took an interest in my problem and resolved it.I had previously taken my truck into another Nissan dealership. They could not fix it because the error was past. They then told me it was not a common problem and was probably a one off.The error came up again. I took it to Clear Lake Nissan because we were in the area. Even though the error cleared when the engine was turned off, Clear Lake said the could fix it.The did! In fact they found some other issues that I was not aware of.I highly recommend them for maintenance on your Nissan vehicle.

Well, Clear Lake Nissan has all the records on my Frontier, so that is one way for me to keep track of its needs. Also, I believe (hope) that this dealership has always been honest with me!!! Went into this dealership to test drive to compare SUVs. I was not sure as if to what SUV that I would like to purchase. I wanted to test drive a Nissan SUV so I could compare to Honda and Hyundai and I was told that since I wasnt buying on that day I couldnt test drive anything. So with that being said, I didnt purchase anything. I was then told to go on their website and do a virtual test drive. What kind of stuff is that? How can I compare if I cant test drive? Well needless to say, I went to Honda up the freeway and purchased a 2021 Pilot.

The service advisor Aaron Hobbs went above and beyond to help me out during my crisis. We are from Oklahoma and are in Galveston on vacation. I lost my key fob at the beach. When I called the service dept, Aaron was extremely helpful and gave me directions on what we would have to do to get a new one. I had to tow my car to the dealership and it arrived late on Wednesday afternoon. He called me as soon as he received my car and since he wasnt able to get it completed that day, he arranged it for the first thing Thursday morning! He also had it washed as well. He was very friendly and provided excellent customer service! He deserve a nomination for employee of the month!!!

I can safely recommend Clear Lake Nissan based on my experience with them. When I pulled up in the Service Department, an associate approached my vehicle to find out what my need was. He informed me of the expected wait time and proceeded to check on my vehicles history to verify what service is due. In my presence he checked the fluids, the battery and air filters, and explained my options in layman terms. There was no pressure.Before taking my vehicle to the workshop, photographs were taken of every angle of the vehicle. The mechanic in the workshop sent me a short video of what he was doing to my vehicle. An exterior courtesy wash is also a norm at Clear Lake Nissan. I recommend them 100 percent for their courtesy and sincerity.

I wanted to buy a new Nissan and asked them to confirm the price before filling out the financing application and they did it via text by Camilo and via phone call by Natasha. After filling out the application, the manager Gavin raised the price for me by around 3000 dollars for the mandatory or forced purchase of Protection and Security Package. With tricks and false prices they make me fill out the applications and then they want to force me to buy protection for 3000 dollars.

Would not buy or ever recommend buying from this dealer. I guess their game is to advertised vehicles at incorrect prices to get people in the door. Once you sit down with your quote the price is $6k more than the ADVERTISED rate. I found a truck on cars.com for $34k a week ago. I wasn’t sure about buying a car so I moved on, I checked on the same vehicle today and it was $32k. I was happy with that, called to see if they still had the truck at that rate, they did, so we went in. We waited an hour for my car to appraised, then some sheister comes in and sits down with a paper with the same truck prices at almost $38k. I said no, I was here for the truck advertised at $32k, he says he doesn’t know why it’s that rate and he can’t give me that price. That was your advertised price online, and on Cars.com. I said this and he basically said too bad. I asked for my keys and we left. This is terrible business practice. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB for false and misleading advertising. Don’t go here.EDIT: The message you see from the “Loyalty Manager” is bogus. I did call and leave a voicemail with my name and phone number and shockingly didn’t get a call back. I should also mention that I posted my experience on my local Moms of Galveston county Facebook page and got over 70 comments saying they had the exact same experience! 70!!!!

I bought a 2018 f150 platinum 4x4 with 28k miles from clear lake nissan without knowing the radio takes 20 minutes to do anything from changing stations, using Bluetooth, messaging seats ect then find out driver ac seat is messed up barley works. Called dealer back the next day about the issues Ive discovered since I was rushed into buying the truck due to two other people there wanting the same truck and was told its my problem. The radio issue only is over $1000 to have fixed not including the driver seat. Ive bought plenty of used vehicles from other dealers that have always worked with me either fixing the issue or meeting me halfway and this dealer was quick to say its your problem. I honestly feel if you are paying top dollar for a vehicle then you shouldnt have any issues at all!!!MAKE SURE YOU CHECK EVERY LITTLE THING ON ANY VEHICLE YOU BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE PAYING TOP DOLLAR FOR IT!!!!!

Coming home from Lafayette, I hit a block on wood in the middle of the road in Lake Charles. I dented my rim and my husband had to put on the donut. After going to countless tire shops and being turned away because the damage was beyond repair, I called Clear lake Nissan. From the phone call Aaron Hobbs was able to get me in the next day. My rim was in stock. Placing the new rim, two new tires and tire alignment was done the next day. I’m so thankful to Aaron Hobbs for all his help during such a stressful time and for the service crew that got the work done quickly but made sure it was done right. He was super professional and exhibited awesome customer service by going above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and always informed. While the work was being done he arranged and shuttle to take me home and take me back to the dealership! 10/10 stars

I found a car online and took the trip to go test drive. After expressing interest in the car, we were quoted a price $4000 above their advertised price (not including ttl) and were given some bad explanation of why the price had gone up so drastically. Additionally, the odometer of the car differed almost 10000 miles from their listing. This type of behavior is what gives other car salesmen a bad name. If they are lying about the price and the odometer, what else could they be lying about? I will be staying far away from this dealership, and I would suggest others do as well. Complete waste of my time.Edit- I got back on the dealer website to check the specifics of the vehicle, and they are now advertising the car as from a non-smoker when the car REAKED of smoke. So good luck to anyone trying to find anything honest with this dealer.
