First time in this location and it was great until i got to the register. The cashier lynda was SO RUDE. She was pushy unfriendly and THROWING my items, including fresh fruits bread and eggs, into the cart (and i noticed her doing the same with all the people behind me). She wasnt nice at all she pushed the receipt into my face and rudely said here you go which made me say well sorry im apparently not moving fast enough for this as im fumbling to try and race to get my wallet into my bag and move myself out of her way. If, and this is a huge if, i ever go back to this one and she again is a the only cashier on i will turn right around. That experience was not worth the price difference of Aldi and another grocery store

This is a great store to go to, because the stuff is a little cheaper then other stores and the workers are nice and very helpful. I would recommend going to this store, because it can save you some money. They have a great selection of stuff to get there. So if you haven’t been to that store, I would definitely recommend trying it out, because you will spend less money here then at other stores, because it is a lot cheaper.

I went there today for the 1st time in years. I was recently diagnosed with Celiac. I cant eat anything with Gluten. I was so happy when I saw how much they offered for gluten free items. I will be back. Also cashier was super fast and no long line. Highly recommend!

We go here for cheaper groceries on some things. most of their own brands are ok but some just aint up to par with other brands. customer service here IS quiet lacking.. most lines get 8 to 10 customer long before they open another lane.. they park the floor lifts in the middle of the aisle making it impossible to do anything but go to another aisle to get to the other end of the aisle you were just on. questions are usually met with a deer in the headlight look, most of the workers are unfriendly to a vice. you can tell these aldi workers dont enjoy their jobs, smiles are non-existent here, the only thing you get here is a rushed atmosphere... as in even before your checked out, the cashier wants your credit card in the box to speed things up.. we always liked waiting till everything is checked out then insert the credit card..

Most of the ALDI stores I have been to have friendly staff, the ones we encountered today were severely lacking. For one I needed change when I first arrived at the store(I always do) the lady was opening a line and told me to wait just a minute when I came up to her, after just telling me that I could come to her line... then we got in, the store was ok, not the cleanest but its ALDI so whatever, everything was accessible and easy to find. Then we go to check out, the same lady I encountered is the one who checks us out, we had our kids in the shopping cart and were planning to move them over, we know how Aldis works and that they have to have a cart with them for the next customer. She says where she thinks we cant hear her people act like theyve never been to a d*mn Aldi before. Severely lacking in manners in this store. Will not be back to this location.

I love this one in Lenoir N.C so much better than Wilkesboro Lenoir has much more meat selection to choose from.

I drive thirty minutes to shop here. This is, without a doubt, my favorite place to shop. Being a student, I appreciate competitive prices on groceries. Aldi has some of the best prices in the area, and their produce is fresher, healthier, and longer-lasting than other stores. I would definitely recommend this store to my friends and family.

I live in Boone, 30 min away from this Aldi, and I still make the drive to shop here. Everything is so fairly priced that even with the extra gas it takes to go here and back home, I still save money. Top notch produce, friendly staff, clean store!

The checker gave me the bizness. I was standing at the register with my few selections on the conveyor belt. And went over to the wall shelf to lean. I cant stand properly, Im in the care of a physician. This checker comes forward to guide the next customer to the correct checkout never looking at me. Then the acting really began. The reason why I ask where shes from is because southerners are respectful of old people. northerners dont have respect for southerners. You are both quick to speak badly about us and treat us badly. You were rude.

The Deli has some good sales on many items, and they make very nice Birthday cakes and other pastries. Its not just a Grocery store

Depending on what you buy .. its good or bad.. had bone in the meats . But the brats were great .sliced cheese is the same the 24 warped singles are nasty . But the dulexe is great ... so take a chance they offer double money back .

Aldis is a great grocery store in general. I like the morals they practice of paying fairer wages, cheaper prices, no plastic bags, and even the quater to release a cart is a genius idea that I dont know why every store that usues buggies hasnt started. I dont actually come here often but I should use it more often. Highly recommend.

Clean well organized store. During this pandemic, some shelves were completely bare. Only a few packages of fresh chicken, but a pretty good selection of beef and pork. Well stocked with fruits and vegetables.

The girls in there were absolutely wonderful with helping us and talking to the kids. Definitely the best grocery shopping experience Iv ever had. They even went to the back and found a pool for me that I wanted to get for my kids. The manager was awesome and so was all the other staff!

Always enjoy shopping at Aldis. Great produce and workers are always pleasant. Young man outside with carts was a blessing with his comments. I am so glad that some young people today know their Lord.

Last two visits, lines were forming. I asked them to open another register and they were Johnny on the spot. They have hand sanitizer and cart wipes and employees wear the face masks. Their Raisin Breads a buy! Generally their prices are very competitive and the quality is right up there - along with a great refund program if you ever get something that failed to meet your expectations.

Great store with great pricing. Love the new renovation with the new updates and wider isles. Prepackaged goods are always good and fresh. The produce usually tends to be pretty good and fairly priced. The meats are, on occasion, a little on the questionable side. I have picked up some moldy green-looking Hot Dogs before and a few different times Ive seen some green-looking steaks and roasts. Dont know if the products were rotated properly or if its a problem with the cooler. I seldom even look at the fresh beef, pork or chicken. I do buy their frozen chicken and fish products. None of them have ever scared me, yet. All-in-all, ALDI is a good store. On a scale from 1 -10 (1 being worst and 10 being best) I would give the Lenoir, NC store an 8 out of 10. In other words, 4 out of 5 Stars.

Aldis is a great place to shop. In most cases, their brands are as good as the other grocery stores. Most importantly, their prices cant be matched. Their gluten free bagels are soooooo good.

We love shopping at Aldi. It is a necessity if you are on a tight grocery budget and you are trying to get the most out of your dollars spent. The produce prices are a fraction of what you would spend at the grocery store. If you have never shopped there make sure you take a quarter to get your shopping cart and bring your own bags.

Great prices on some things. Some things are cheaper else where. The staff is diligent and very pleasant. Every thing stays stocked. The lines go quickly. Take your own bags and a quarter. Also, I buy organic baby food here and its much cheaper with a great selection.

Okay the Aldi in Lenior needs to step it up. The Morganton Aldi there is someone cleaning the buggies and you dont have to put the quarter in anymore to prevent the spread of Covid.... the Lenior on... there was no one there. People are still putting quarters in and your getting a new buggy at check out its just safe right now. Ill just go out of my way and stick to the Morganton one!!

Cheapest place to get groceries

This Aldi is always well stocked and has almost everything you need (except the rare white cheddar popcorn, it is only around sometimes). Parking lot isnt too crowded and aisles are nice and spacious.

Best place to get groceries in Lenoir if name brands never enter the equation for you as a shopper. I walk out of there for between half to 2/3rds the expense I would pay at a regular grocery chain. Lots of organic foods too that are NOT NEARLY as expensive as their competitors.

I go here at the Lenoir store all the time. Ever since you remodeled, it is harder for everyone to find what they want.Put a map up at the entry to the store showing where everything is.Quality of product is good. Nothing has made me sick yet.Staff are usually very nice.You are doing a good job.

Great buys. Recently remodeled with wider aisles and more coolers. Cleaner and roomier. Good selection of imported items like cheese. My only complaint is that the cashiers rarely smile or act friendly.

Can buy 2 to 3 times more items here than at large retail supermarkets. The brands carried by this store are just as good, if not better than larger stores. Employees are respectful and are willing to help find items one is having trouble finding.

Lets just say some rude people work there (not the cashiers) the morganton aldis is so friendly. Much more (non -food) merchandise to choose from also, they dont wait forever to reduce the items. Great prices but some people need to work on their manners.

A much needed grocery venue for this area. I have stopped here several times passing through. The store is fairly clean, organized, and the check out lines have not been as long as some other locations. I ignore the meat section, so any issues with that (as reported by other reviewers) would not be considered in my rating.

More for your money 💰

I like Aldi just fine....selection of foods and other items better than at my last visit. Prices are good. I am not a fan of the cart usage policy ... for lack of better term. I do not intend to pay to use a shopping cart to get my quarter returned when I leave. If I need to purchase more than I can carry, I will shop elsewhere.
