Had the pleasure of working with Miguel recently to buy a Tacoma. I had a negative experience at a Toyota Dealership in Dallas and appreciated that he wasnt pushy and was focused on helping me find the specific truck I came to find, not trying to sell me on something else. We took our time, examined the truck, drove it, and was given all the time I needed to run numbers and make phone calls.Derrick the manager was also a good guy to work with. We went back and forth on the final numbers a few times, he always came back with something better. Hes got a no-BS marine attitude that I like. Their additional Covid fee they tack on was considerably less than other Dallas Toyota dealerships. Pricing was fair, not great, but still fair given the current market on new and used vehicles.So far the truck is great. They offered a free alignment after I noticed it was pulling slightly to the right on the highway. Will keep this review updated as things continue this year.

Parts dept. never called me to say my part had arrived. So they get one star.Service dept was able to install the part on a Saturday so they get five stars.Sales dept gets 3 stars, no cars on the show room floor and no one tried to sell me a car.

The best part of my recent visit was my Service Advisor, Christine Rodriquez. She was terrific partly by being so pleasant, knowledgeable and responsive. Christine kept me fully informed during the process of repairing my car as I requested. She even was will to accept and reply to my request for information by text on her day off. Lone Star Toyota sure has an outstanding employee in Christine, the type that will lead to growth in business by being so customer service focused.

Made an appointment online for 8am. Drove right into the service center and Patrick helped me out. Able to check toyota history on the computer to see whats due. Took about 1 hour for oil change and tire rotation. I do wish there was a list of finding checked when you leave.

Decided to inquire about a 2019 Ford Mustang Ecoboost. Texted the sales gentlemen about my interest in the vehicle and confirmed the vehicle was being sold for this price they put on the internet. Scheduled a time to look over this vehicle and possibly purchase it. Day of I get a text saying the vehicle is now more expensive and tried to blame market adjustment. Now I totally understand market adjustment. Just funny how its more expensive right before I come to see the vehicle. Now I asked them if they would honor the price of the vehicle they posted up. Now I already knew it wasnt gonna be exactly 22k they were asking. I get dealership fees, lot fees, covid fees, etc. Then says he doesnt control the prices of course, I understand that too. But I wouldnt spend a dime here, nor waste my time.

I had my care serviced today, and the service department was very helpful and courteous, especially JR. I was in and out in about 30 minutes for an oil change, and several customers came and went in that time. Very happen with my experience there. They have a waiting area with food and drink vending machines that are not overpriced. Will be going back for sure.

After about 3 days of trying to get out there I finally get a chance. I let them know each time I wasnt going to be able to make it and I called them when I was finally able to and let them know I was coming. I got about an hour and a half out (its a 3 and a half hour drive) and they call to tell me the vehicle has been sold. I appreciate the call, but disappointed I wasnt able to make a deal on the vehicle.

Be very careful here! They have some nice staff members in their admin department but the real issue is their market adjustment fee for pre owned vehicles is SIGNIFICANTLY higher than other dealers in the area. Whatever the sticker price is on the car you’re looking at…add another $4k for their market adjustment fee and another $2k for their lone star appearance package. So calculate the cost of the car you want, after taxes. Then add $6,000 to that price. I’ve called 4 other dealers in the area and so far, only lone star adds a market adjustment fee for pre owned vehicles. Maybe go check out the other places first.

I purchased a 2021 Toyota Camry in November of 2020. Around 3 months later I started having problems with the vehicle. I would try to pull out into an intersection and the vehicle would just remain at idle no mater how hard I depressed the accelerator. This would last 3 to 5 seconds before finally starting to go. Currently this is happening about twice per month. The last time I almost got into an accident because of it.I have taken the vehicle to two different Toyota dealerships, and none of them have been able to help me. I called Lone Star Toyota of Lewisville and they told me that they couldn’t help me because I didn’t purchase the vehicle at that location. I took the vehicle back to the Toyota dealership where I purchased it and they said they couldn’t help me because it had been previously serviced at Toyota of Lewisville. Now I don’t know what to do.I will NEVER purchase another vehicle from Lone Star Toyota of Lewisville again. Be warned. They will promise you the world but after you give them your hard earned money they will treat you like trash.

I purchased a 2010 Vensa from previous owners who furnished fantastic service after the sale. In one of the last times I was in I noticed many of the service reps were missing, they had eliminated the personnel who you paid and added this to the service managers duties. I guess I was there during the good times when they were a class dealership. It is sad new ownership has ruined the reputation of a once fine Toyota dealership. The vast number of one star rating cannot all be wrong thus I will look elsewhere for my automotive needs.

I was very pleased with the experience, even though it was only for an oil change. The service writer was friendly and efficient; the work was done on time and the price was very reasonable. Overall, I would say two thumbs up and will be back and recommend others to have their Toyotas serviced here, too.

My boyfriend and I went into Lone Star to look at a truck he was interested in. We were greeted at the door by, Michael. The customer service he rendered was amazing. We then decided to not look at other trucks at other dealers and purchase that one and that connected us to the finance Guru, Serena. We left the dealership with two vehicles instead of the one we came for. That just shows you how amazing this team is and we’re super grateful to have encountered such an awesome experience. At 1pm, was told a specific vehicle was still available. Drove an hour to dealership at 5pm to check it out… no one has a clue where it’s at. Apparently they let an employee check it out for the day to help move furniture for his family. A $40,000 truck, when they had an older beat up truck he could have used on the lot for around $19,000… they tell me I can’t see the truck tonight but to come back tomorrow. I had just drove two hours round trip. I said, let’s talk about price and find out the best price we can do out the door. Salesman said they couldn’t do that because on top of the list price of $40,000 they were going to have to add on a “market adjustment.” Lol NO THANKS! Don’t waste your time at Lone Star Toyota.

I went in to shop and see my options. Was my first stop, I made that clear. They tried to push a deal I was not comfortable with and when he realized I was going to shop around some more to way my options, his attitude completely changed and was rude and told me I wasted his time and had another customer waiting and took my papers that had my personal info on it and threw (I mean threw in a rude way) in the trash can. He told me I was unreasonable. Are you kidding me! I was unreasonable in wanting more for myself and not agreeing to a deal that is not good for me? I am the customer, that is my hard earned money that I am investing! I told him I was going to see my options and maybe theirs would of been the better deal and come back, but said he lost me as a customer PERIOD! My sister has a long history with your dealership and highly recommended you and I was extremely disappointed in the treatment I received.

Unfortunately this time around my experience at Lone Star Toyota Service was not as good as it has been in the past. I’m guessing this is due to the economic slowdown in the automobile industry as a whole. They are now charging customers 3% to pay for services when using a credit card. The waiting area formerly had free coffee and water for customers while they waited. The service department would wash and dry your vehicle after every service visit. They don’t spend the time to dry it any longer, leaving water spots everywhere. Most of these are not a big deal except for the 3% credit card fee. But, remember you’re paying a premium for servicing your vehicle at a dealership. To be fair I will say that my service advisor Brad was excellent and the work was done right the first time.

Don’t sign any contracts because APPARENTLY “in the state of Texas there’s no grace period or cooling off” which is ridiculous!!!! When I called to ask if you have a parts department and you would be able to give an estimate for my car that got backed into, you said yes go ahead and come. So I come and wait 15 minutes for someone to walk up to my car in the service department only to say no we can only paint, we can’t fix damage. Maybe you should tell your parts department that, so on the phone people wouldn’t be told waste their time to drive there for no reason.

I made a long trip over to look at a used 2021 Corolla for my daughter. It was listed on their website as $17,599. Seemed like a good deal and worth the trip. I made an offer on the car only to have the salesman come back to say that the car was $21,000. He said that the $17,599 advertised price didnt include the $1,250 refurbishing price. The car only had 4,800 miles on it! What refurbishing? He said at 21k they were only making $500. Fine, then why advertise $17,599?They told me that these added costs were in the fine print. I went back to look at the add but, I could find no such fine print.I thought that these sleazy tactics were a thing of the past in the used car market. I guess not at Toyota of Lewisville.

I am really disappointed and very upset about the car service I received recently. They are very rude no business acumen, they don’t know how to talk to their customer. Very unprofessional did not do their job properly after servicing I had a hanging panel under my car which they removed it for oil change. upon calling them and trying to connect with the service department they hung up on me and never reached back.I will never expect a big company like Toyota to have such an awful service. Really spoils the image. I will highly recommend not to visit Toyota services at Lewisville and will do the same.

I had a very bad experience. First they did not respect the internet posted price as they claim they do. They increased $2000 (yes two thousand) the value of the car, claiming it is a package they do to all cars which consist on tinting the widows and 4 pieces of plastic to protect the doors and that’s it! I was treated very rude just because I was trying to negotiate the $2000 price increase, and at a point one seller even snatched a paper from my hand! They also made me wait for hours. The communication after I got the car was horrible, it was imposible to contact anybody from that place, nobody! I sent several emails with zero response, I called more than 20 times, I called all posible extensions and managers and sellers, all their voicemails were always full. I finally decided to go in person to deal with my situation and still I wasn’t able to talk to anybody and as of today nobody has contacted me yet!!! It was a very frustrating, horrible experience, I totally regret buying a car there. I’ll never do business with this dealership again, never!!!!

Had a great experience at this dealership! With work consuming my day, I search for vehicles late at night. I found a vehicle that I liked around midnight and sent an inquiry on in it. I thought I’d hear something in the morning, but I received a text right away. I spoke with a salesman named James until 12:30am and found a truck I wanted.I drove to the dealership later that day and met James at the door who had already pre-arranged all of the sales numbers for me so we could get right to the test drive and numbers. That’s when I met Bo Franklin, he was such a good, respectful, sales manager. We went on a test drive and he was filled with loads of information on the vehicle. When we returned, he had the vehicle detailed while we moved to financial discussion and they made good on everything that was said over the phone ahead of my arrival. The discussion was very amicable and went very smoothly. I inquired on a vehicle at midnight and 18 hours later I owned it. Can’t say enough about the professionalism, knowledge, and friendliness displayed by James, Bo and my finance guy Alessandro. I would definitely buy a vehicle from Lone Star Toyota Lewisville again!

I like the service very much. They do really professional work. My car has 30,000 miles inspection, and the problems with Gas pedal also brake pedal so lose … after 6hrs . It’s back like brand-new car. They also has shuttle bus to take me go bookstore. Another time, they gave us rental brand-new Red Camry (only drive 126 miles) to use when my car need to wait for the Parts coming in 2-3 days. I bought my car from Lone Star Lewisville Texas 2 years ago and ever happy more than any agency I went through. Thank you for your CustomerService and workers!

Service department is reckless and lazy. Told me my tire had been patched and my tires had been filled when they hadnt been because according to the advisor, they forgot. As in, they forgot to do any of the work I brought the vehicle in for. Makes you wonder what else they forget to do when they take your vehicle in for service. After noticing that they hadnt worked on the vehicle at all, after I was told it was READY (and they couldnt even be bothered to pull it up as is customary at dealership service departments, just pointed to it across the parking lot) I reminded them to do their jobs and then learned that the tire shouldnt be driven on as it was at risk of a blowout. Golly, sure am glad I knew that before you tried to send me on my way. Needless to say I will take my vehicle elsewhere where they remember to do the one job I bring the vehicle in for instead of risking my life relying on Lone Star Toyotas word in the future. Thank God I took the time to check if they remembered to do the work and I didnt die in a fiery crash on the way home. Youre playing with customers lives here. This is beyond UNACCEPTABLE. Toyota corporate is already involved so dont bother any of that We forwarded this to our customer experience manager, earn your business BS. Ill be back on a cold day in hell.

Even though I walked out of service with a 2,500 dollar bill, I am grateful because they caught a failing seal that if not corrected would have seized up my engine! I have a Prius, but it has 145,000 miles on it and it is 8 years old. This is the first major repair we have had on this vehicle and I fully expect to drive it for at least another 5 years!

What a terrible experience. Would not recommend going to this dealership, it’s deception from the moment you contact them. Miguel was providing incorrect information from the beginning. Told us the car we wanted would arrive in 5 days and all we needed was to put a $500 deposit down so we drove to the dealership to waist two hours of our time. We were told that we couldn’t put $500 down and once we disclosed that we were using our own financing, Miguel said we could no longer purchase. I informed him that this was not what he said over the phone and he got really rude and made a comment “This isn’t a restaurant”insinuating that if we didn’t sign the contract at that moment & used their financing, our deposit was worthless. Very rude. We got the manager involved and explained we wanted to use our own financing and pay the deposit to reserve the car, is all we wanted to do at this moment,he said we could. Finally we are getting somewhere. I hand over my card to pay the deposit to then be told that The car wasn’t even coming in 5 days but mid June.I will never step foot in this place again. Pushy sales, misinformation, rude, & a waste of two hours. I would recommend going to a different location!

I find 2013 toyota camry in them lot for $13.111 and I call 9am for appointments and I drive 20 mile and wait for 45 minutes there . Finley the say sold after that the say we have another on and after waiting for another 30 minutes and thay say sold . The try sale me a new car and I say no . The car I was interested to buy still in market for sale in them lot . Just the need you stop by and sale you any car the want . The customer sale lady she is nice . The rest the dealer 0 star . I dont recommend this dealer to any one the west your time for nothing .

I wish I could give them a zero. I purchased a car from this dealership that I was overcharged for and sold extremely expensive services and warranties that raised my financing 12k that unfortunately ended up being totaled . I have called them for two weeks straight needing my NADa for my gap insurance and they refuse to send it to me. I have had two employees claim they will send to me and each time they lied. I am going to probably take a 2 hour lunch to drive to obtain it due to the dealership being 45 minutes away. I would not recommend getting a car from them. Not only are they scammers but have the worst service.

Make sure you dont buy your tires here, in a month I had a blowout and the warranty said I ran it on flat so nothing we can do, so I guess if I get a blowout in a middle of the highway Im supposed to stop Immediately!! For them to cover it and the dealer didnt want to do nothing even after I spent over 2k in maintenance. Deserves Zero Stars.

Lets try to be honest with your customers. This review is for the service department at Lone Star Toyota of Lewisville. The number #1 thing customers look up to when taking their cars to a service department is honesty. #2 is quality work. Be careful with giving your business to Susana from the service department. Susana just assured my wife that we needed to replace our very dirty and old cabin air filter and engine air filter. This happened today (5/12/2021). The problem is that I personally changed them with brand new ones less than 10 days ago. Susana is obviously trying to take advantage of my wife to make an extra sale. Honesty goes a long way to keep your customers satisfied and wanting to come back to your service shop. Lets do better, Lone Star.

False advertisement. Like some shady dope dealers.. they advertised a used truck online that I was interested in. So we called tge dealership, spoke with a sales rep and let her know we were on the way and it.was about a 2 hour trip. She said she was pretty firm on the Internet advertising price, but would be looking forward to seeing us. Upon arrival, she was gone but was greeted by another Sales rep. I test drove the vehicle and was pleased. The internet asking price.was $33,000. So I offered $35,000 and had cash money in hand. Cash... it dont mean anything anymore.. I was told that 45,000 was the best that they could do. Wait, what!? So the internet price.is.wjat they paid for the truck. Ok so I understand that they need to make money, I get that. But $12,000!? Thats a hell of a markup, and not able to budge off of it.... but then, why in the hell can the truck be advertised at $33,000, when the best they can sell it for is $45,000??? Can I claim that I was.simply discriminated against? Is it because I am white? A straight, middle aged, white, American man?? Or is it just some bizarre tactic in order to swindle me? Whats up with the false advertising? This place is a joke, good luck lonestar Toyota of lewisville, Ill see ya down the road. Thanks for wasting my day. My girl and I both took the day off work and drove all the way here from Stephenville, because we were misinformed, lied to, and you will do it again Im sure.

Just because I am buying car for the 1st time, and I have no idea about cars or how it works, I feel like I was taken advantage of as much as possible. First, sales person gives me a damaged car with almost 2000 miles, claiming it to be new car. Ok fine its my fault for singing contract, should have been more careful. Than he tells me everything is fine he got me, it will be fixed. Doesnt give me a date or appointment time, just keeps telling me I got you. I had to come back and see him like 4 times, before I got a date, and talk to his manager. So, I come on my appointment date, they look at my car and say it will take for about 4 to 5 hours. Alright I said I will wait. Waited for almost 7 hours, get my car back with nothing fixed. Very pleasant experience. Thanks for great service. The only professional person I met so far was my financer.

I bought a highlander recently at this location, they charged me 2000$ more by stating dealer add on’s but all they did was 2 window tint, handle guard tint, door side protection tint, on the msrp price I have already paid for dealer add on’s 593$. They literally charged me 2000$ by naming it “add ons”. Disappointed.

This dealership is corrupt! We had our vehicle serviced there for years. Last weekend my husband Took his 4Runner in for an oil change and rotation. New mechanic recommended a transmission flush a brake line flush a fuel injector and something else. That all sounded all-too-familiar so he checked the records and they supposedly change the transmission fluid and brake line fluid at 55,000 miles and again at 60,000 miles at 60,000 miles they did the fuel injector. Now at 65,000 miles they are recommending all of those services again. We either paid twice for services that were not needed or they’re not performing the services they are charging us for. Service manager will not return our call, General Manager is “not in” and “ Bill White” a salesman who answered the phone was rude a d condescending. DO NOT use this dealership unless you have money to throw away!!!’

Prime Example of Why Folks Cant Stand Dealing with Service Centers at DealershipsI had to bring my 4Runner in for the airbag recall. My spouse did not want to take it, because she feels the service departments try to little lady her and say a lot of repairs need done.I call ahead and request the vehicle not be inspected. They agree. Once there, again the sky is falling and a 15 min repair is at 1.5 hours and only the inspection that was not supposed to be done was complied with.I call the shop manager. He stays they will stop inspecting and finish the airbag. They dont. Instead I get texts, that we did not agree to along with a massive list of issues with the vehicle.On leaving the TPMS low tire light came on and my wife had to return, and the Tech tells her there is probably a nail in the tire without looking.Take a look at the attached pics.

TIRE BALANCING AND ALIGNMENT ARE NOT AND NEVER WILL BE COVERED by any plan, warranty or package these guys offer you. If they tell you that, it is a SCAM.Multipoint inspection (whatever it is) and rotation can be done SUPER CHEAP somewhere else.

If I could give no stars, I would give no stars. I went to purchase a 2020 GMC Sierra online and agreed to the internet price of $48,511. I sent them my funding letter from the bank and made plans to pick it up and then they texted me back to say the vehicle would be $57,533.81, a $9k increase and said the price didnt include their mark up, after two sales people told me the internet price is what I would pay. This is false advertisement. They tried to tell me that it was because of the vehicle market. No wonder why people are buying from Vroom and Carvana. They dont get the run around. No more dealerships for me, especially this one.

Super disappointed with our experience. From the moment we walked in they were pushy and attempting to oversell us. They didn’t even offer a bottle of water before they started demanding information. Would not recommend at all. Their website doesn’t have accurate information and they tried to pass responsibility off for that on a third party. They weren’t willing to honor any of the offers listed on their own website. Absolutely ridiculous. Do not use them.

A place where trading,sales and finance rippe you off. I was promised 13000. For my 2015 scion tc with 34000 miles on it but when the paperwork came they were showing me 12500 when I asked him why he said that Mike Tyson had hit the car. I purchased a2020 Toyota 86 with 18000 miles on it I was told it was a manual but after signing up without showing me the proper documents the rep Michael gives me the key when I got into the car I found out it was a automatic. And guess what having a 4.6 Apr. Putting down a $5000. I will be praying $48000 for a 2020 18000 miles Toyota 86. May God bless this place.

I have never in my many years of life have received such poor and antiquated service. from the moment we stepped foot into this location i felt like my skin color was an issue. i never write reviews, especially when race is involved. but this felt just so uncomfortable. I will be calling cooperate to discuss this. Also, one of the sales reps that approached yus appeared like they were under the influence. this is not a joke post. this really happened.

I’m always skeptical of walking into a new dealership because you never know if you’ll get the pushy type salesman or the friendly, helpful ones. This dealership exceeded our standards by far. We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door not only by the receptionist, but by other salesmen walking by. The interior appearance of the dealership was so well-put together and so sleek all around. We were 30min early for our appointment but we were still met by our salesman, Miguel Cardenas, in less than 5min. He was very friendly and so helpful throughout the whole process. He answered all of our questions, showed us extra options if we were interested (without being pushy), and took us through all of the steps in detail when we decided to purchase. The financial manager, Serena Gossett, was absolutely wonderful as well. She was also extremely helpful and willing to work with us with our payments and final finance price. All in all this is a fantastic Toyota dealership to go to when purchasing your next vehicle.

We really appreciated how Derek was reasonable and willing to listen to arguments during negotiation. We found him both patient and also eager to move things along with the process. Roy was helpful in explaining the specific details of the car. We think with experience, he will grow to become more confident and faster paced. Serena was a joy to spend time with at a time when things can be really stressful. Her people first priority eased many of the tensions associated with car purchasing. I recently bought a car here at Lone Star Toyota of Lewisville. My salesperson, Bo Franklin, was great. He was very professional but kept the car buying experience casual and relaxed. The rest of the staff has also been very helpful, going above and beyond to make my experience as smooth as possible. Whats great about Bo is that he is there even after you buy the car. If you ever have questions or concerns, he makes it very apparent that you can call him for help. He has your back. I cant say that about many car salesmen. Purchased a used camry for my daughter and took days to get a showing on the car because the car wasnt available due to an employee driving it. 1st sales lady lied to us on how they got the car, we refused to deal with her again and ended up with james. James took care of the process of the vehicle sale and everything went smooth. 2 weeks later we get a call the car never got a state inspection and they asked us to either bring to them or have done ourselves, whichever was more convenient and they would reimburse us. This was a month ago and we have not been paid back for something they should have done before the sale of the car. We then take the car into another toyota dealership closer to our home for service and find out the safety recalls were not taken care of on the care before the sale either. All around just ended up a terrible experience.

My last visit to get my oil change wasnt like it has been in the past. I usually get treated very kind. Soon as I drive up they have people waiting on you . My last visit to the service department, I waited about 15mins. for someone to wait on me. The lady who helped me was nice, but it seemed all the service department was gone. When I finally got help, the one other service department worker in there had an attitude. I nodded to him and he was cold never said nothing. Maybe I came on an off day or time. Ive been taking my car there eleven years, since I bought it, and theyve always been extremely nice and friendly. No one even bought my car to me after the oil change. Not the end of the world, just they lost some points with me. Next time I want to buy a car I may go elsewhere.

I would give zero stars if I could. Was communicating with Roy Roberts via email and asked him a straight forward if they had a certain vehicle on the lot with a specific lease deal and he said they had it. Informed him we were driving from 45 minutes away with two young children to see the vehicle and even called on our way to confirm it was there. When we got there he went on to tell us they didn’t have that deal and would need to put thousands of dollars down to get that same deal. Quite frustrated and disappointed with the dishonesty of this dealership. Will not be buying/leasing from Toyota in the future.
