I have had my Z06 in for routine maintenance and they are excellent with appointments and timeliness of services. Patrick gave me a tour of there new show and it is top notch! I will be bringing my car to them for all my maintenance and future upgrades!
Did an awesome job replacing the brakes, and changing the trans fluid on my Grand Sport. Loved the shop, very clean and saw some pretty sweet projects in the back. Dyno tune is next!
Patrick is one of the most knowledgeable vette guys in the industry. He’s modified, managed and worked on all of my Corvettes. This dude knows his stuff. He’s personally worked on my corvettes for over 10 years. Doesn’t matter if it’s a head job, bolt on mod or just a tune, he’s always spot on. You want your LS worked on or modified, he’s the one. I’ve jacked with the other guys like LG and won’t mention the others. He has made all of my LS’s sing.
I have taken my vehicle in for a misfire and they fix the problem, it was cylinder 1, with all new spark plugs which they were the wrong part number spark plugs which they were new to begin with and the correct part number (heat range manufacturer ). Still needs fine tuning which they have not yet resolved. Then they said to bring back when it is warmer and still took my vehicle three times and have not resolve my tune. I was charged approximately $800. I have left a message to get back with me but no response. The owner should be responsible for the performance and the company service. Where are the oil fingerprints on a Nice and to clean to be working shop (hint hint) but all hat no cattle. Maybe for an oil change is ok but check your oil after service. Hope this review helpful to all of us.😉😉
Patrick and the boys at Quality Motorsports did an amazing job with my suspension installation on my GTO. They even went above and beyond by arranging to have 4 wheel alignment done. Thanks again,Nick D
Patrick is as straight forward as they come. He met me on a Saturday when his business was closed to look at a tune that wasn’t even his. After just a short 90 minutes he had my 700whp zr1 running flawless. I asked him 100+ Vette questions to which he answered and never got irritated with me. Bottom line.. when searching for LS tuners don’t always pick the cheapest guy out there, do your research and pick the guy with the best following. I traveled 550 miles round trip for a 90 minute tuning update and it was worth every penny!!
It was awesome, I got what I came for!! Horsepower!!
Awesome work honest people great to do business with. A+ recommend them.
Patrick and his team at QMS went above and beyond for me at every interaction. They continously provided excellent customer service and cleaned up a bad tune I had received previously. Power delivery is now smooth and linear with no issues. Would highly recommend QMS for any LS powered vehicle.
I work at Magic Touch Paint and Body, we have developed a symbiotic relationship with the guys at QMS. Fair pricing, good communication, and great work!!
Very nice shop, great customer service and extremely knowledgeable! Highly recommended
If I can Give quality motor sports a less review I would Patrick had my camaro for a little more than a year trying to put in a transmission. How long does it take for that he came from one day to another pick up what was charged in full and made excuse after excuse for a whole year put 600 miles on it God knows how if car wasnt working peeled the hell of my tires at the track. When he couldHave dyno the car till this day my car cant even go fast when you hit 70 drive Shaft starts shaking oh almost forgot turned it in with transmission leak there charging me more to fix his mess. Yea its on his page red camaro on the far right web pictures.
Im on my 3rd CTS-V and Quality has worked on each of them. Very friendly and skilled team here
They do all our repairs! Very fast and trustworthy
I was interested in a cam upgrade, headers, cold air, ported throttle body and tune for my 2010 Corvette Grand Sport. I visited and spoke with several area shops and spoke with a number of owners out in the wild. I found Patrick (QMS) experienced, knowledgeable and easy to talk with. I didnt feel hurried nor was he pushy. He also didnt knock the other shops I was speaking with. And finally I was impressed with the many vehicles represented at the shop. Specifically there were a number of road course cars and I know how hard they get pushed. My build is a street car first with some drag races and 1/2 mile roll events thrown in and maybe a visit to the Texas Mile. I figured if they could handle the mods and maintenance of track racers I was good.Obviously I chose QMS for the cam/header package for my GS. I have had six months on it now and wanted to write a review. The work was done within the time frame promised after bringing it in at the scheduled appointment. The car was dyno tuned and tuned on the road. The car had no other mods and made 479rwhp (112 degree shop ambient) and more importantly a broad flat torque curve throughout. The car sounds and drives great, the only surge is when you lug the car in a higher RPM at 1400rpm...dont do that. With the dual mode exhaust I can close it up and on highway trips the car is dead quiet and comfortable. No issues whatsoever and I often commute to work in it. I have run a 11.47@121 1/4 mile and a 7.42 1/8th mile. I can tell you I have also dropped some higher HP cars due I believe largely because of the cam choice and QMS tune. This build was only Stage 1...more to come!
You will find a hard time finding anything bad about Quality since they are nice guys that a majority of the time try to take care of their customers. And if you want something fairly easy done, I would recommend them. However, I had them do a camshaft for my auto car that ended up being an absolute disaster. I was promised that the car would not surge or buck and I actually verified that fact at least 3x before letting them do the work. Long story short, the car bucked & surged very badly to the point where anyone that rode in the car would ask whats wrong with it. I gave Quality 3 attempts to re-tune and fix the car - they always verified the car was tuned well. They finally told me I might have to add a stall converter or change the shift patterns of the transmission which would cost me more money. I was a little frustrated by this since they told me the cam would be stock-like except a higher & slightly rougher idle & they assured me there would be no surging or bucking. After they failed 3 times to correct, I then paid $1400 as I took the car to 3 different tuners (Mike Wilson - Quantum Performance, D&G Dyno Tune & APS) to see what could be done to fix the problem - all said there was NO WAY to tune out the bucking/surging it was just a function of that cam profile - this was consistent w/QMs efforts as they could not correct in 3 attempts either. APS finally had to retune the transmission to fix the issue (another $400) AND my car would stumble when you hit the nitrous purge button so I had to pay another $400 for them to troubleshoot and totally rewire the QM original install. So in total, I was out $2k to correct Qualitys poor cam profile and miswired NOS kit - this is not opinion, but hard facts w/receipts. And my concerns were all validated that they DID EXIST because after the repairs there was no surging/bucking & the car no longer stumbled when u hit the purge button. Oh and before I spent a total of $1400 at APS to fix everything, I gave QM a final call and all they offered was for me to bring in the car & they would look at it again - which was pointless since they couldnt fix it in the previous 3 trips. Long story short, all they had to do was to offer to replace the poorly designed cam w/a different one or even the stock cam. They could have probably done this at $350 their cost (cam & 8 hours labor) and I would have been happy. But instead they acted like nothing was wrong with that cam profile (it was too aggressive for an auto car) and that my concerns were not valid. Very disappointing as up until that point, they were awesome to work with & even to the end were never rude. They simply dont know how to properly resolve a customer issue as they were in total denial that there might have been an error on their part or had a poorly designed cam profile for an automatic car. You would have thought they would have tried a little harder since I had already spent over $8k with them AND was about to start a new car project that could have gone to them if they would have treated me better. To this day I still dont understand why they didnt offer to get me another cam profile and accept responsibility for their work and products.
Best for performance, nice guys
