I have bought two Regal boats from Phil Dill. They are a fantastic dealership. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I bought my first boat from Nate Nichols who is now the Sales Manager and my second one from Travis Rodgers. I think it says a lot about a dealership when their staff sticks around for a long time. All of the team members that I worked with seem to have a serious passion for boating. Truly, I cannot say enough nice things about their team.Buying boats is a lot of fun but there are a lot of things to think about, especially if youve never owned one before. The Phil Dill team does a great job of walking you through the process. You really need to know and understand the total cost of ownership and the associated responsibilities - storage, maintenance, insurance, fuel, cleaning, towing...just to name a few. Its a whole lot of fun to own a boat but its also a big responsibility and a lot of work and you need someone who can help you understand what boating life is like. The Phil Dill aftermarket/service team is great too. I make it a point to take my boat in for service regularly and they are always always helpful, comprehensive, and quick. It can be hard to find a good boat mechanic; I always use their service department and have yet to have a problem. One of the reasons I bought my first boat from Phil Dill was because their service department was so highly regarded. That reputation has held true for as long as Ive owned a Regal.I highly recommend Phil Dill Boats!!

My wife and I purchased a 2014 Regal 2500 from Phil Dill Boats in early August 2021. We were just looking around when we found this boat on their website, but after emailing, texting and talking with Dakota, we knew this was the boat for us & were confident in the dealership and staff.Communication is the key in any sales transaction and the entire staff at Phil Dill Boats understands that and excels at it. From the first phone call with Dakota, we knew we were talking to the right folks. That experience continued through the entire process, from the follow up conversation and meeting with Baily, the water test with Briley, closing with Corey, as with well as with Tom in the make ready shop. Everyone at Phil Dill Boats is a great communicator and understands the value of building a relationship during the sales process. The ultimate test of any relationship is service during and after the sale - especially when purchasing a used boat. We live about 3 hours from Phil Dill boats and only saw pictures of the boat online. When we got there, the boat was great, but there were a few items that we identified that we would like to be addressed while we were on the lake test with Briley. Not only was the staff eager to address the issues when we got back, but Briley was proactive and had taken pictures of the issues and texted them back to the shop so that the make ready crew was waiting on us and could get started right away.We did have a couple small items that we all thought had been addressed before leaving the dealership that continued to be an issue, but the great communication and service continued after the sale as Tom, Dakota, and Baily worked with us to address these items.I would not hesitate to recommend Phil Dill Boats to anyone and should we ever need another boat, they will be my first call. Thanks!!!!

Fantastic experience! Extremely competent, and cohesive team who made us feel valued as a customer. Phil Dills team found the boat we wanted when no one else could. A big thank you to Cory Dill, Jake Norris, Josh and everyone else on the team for their tireless commitment, returning all of our calls, answering all of our questions and simply removing the stress out of the entire boat buying process.

Place was easy to get on and out of for boat deliveries. On the other hand Barry being disrespectful and wanting to argue and bully people not cool. If i treated people like that i would not have a job. People spend alot of money on boats i hope he does not have contact with customers. If i had to deal with him i would not buy a boat from this place and by talking to other employees Barry has a reputation of acting this way towards people. I hope it gets addressed by management.

Love the service! Got a rude phone call from the Finance manager because she was stressed and I let my salesman know about it. Nathan(GM) took the initiative to make sure I became a happy customer and I was VERY satisfied with everything that I had come out with. Along being a new boat owner! I dont care what stress youre under, if youre buying a 40k boat you dont talk to people the way Trisha did to me and my wife. I was extremely impressed with this boat buying experience!Ryland was more like a friend and less like a salesman. Shopping around I found Phil Dill to be a welcoming, no pressure place to buy a boat. With a very reasonable and refundable deposit, I was able to put the boat I wanted on hold, and test drive it at the lake with their boat captain Josh, who was also more like a friend than a guy on staff there. He took plenty of time with me making sure I knew the ins and outs of the boat, showed us around on the lake and cool spots to come back to in the future.Over the weeks time I spent shopping around, I truly came to learn what these guys at Phil Dill were all about. - Customer Service Excellence !!!My wife and I were honestly a bit shocked.... is this to good to be true ? The financing was nearly matching my own credit unions interest rates, but a longer term for a cheaper monthly payment. The deal Ryland worked out for me on the 2021 Regal 2000 became to good to pass up and the trailer he set up for us was all so perfect and cost effective that honestly, I couldn’t go anywhere else.I’m 100% satisfied with the price I paid for the boat and ALL of the staff involved with the process. I’m also very happy with Regal boats. This is my first Regal and my first brand new boat. - They seam to hold their value so well I went for the killer deal on a new one. The Volvo engine is powerful and smooth and best of all... The Regal power folding tower is a huge plus !I would definitely refer people to Phil Dill.

This company is one of the most friendly, wonderful and helpful companies around. My husband and I certainly felt the openness, honesty, excellent customer care and service from Phil Dill Boats. Chris Rodgers and Cory Dill were phenomenal to work with and we would HIGHLY recommend ANYONE to purchase a boat from here. I am so thankful we found them as we had been on a hunt for a boat for weeks, and the limited options were scarce with the influx of sales the boat industry has been receiving. We will return again in the future when we are ready for an upgrade! Thank you for the wonderful experience of purchasing our fist boat. We are very much pleased!

I came across this beautiful used Sea Hunt on their website and called in for more info. We worked with Jake Norris and from beginning to end he was awesome. Upon final handshake he made sure the boat was cleaned.. twice! He helped us out with fixing a few little things on the gel coat and glass, and the transducer for the Lowrance unit. Phil Dil also replaced all the trailer lights and added new fenders. The boat was looked over and engine was serviced. Tricia in finance made the paperwork super easy and quick, probably took under 30min. Highly recommend to take a look at their pre-owned inventory, a lot to choose from.Update: looking at the 1 star reviews, theres a lot of false information. Id recommend calling or coming in, not trying to do things over email. They are a great group of people that are very personable.

We drove 3.5 hours to see a boat we expected the pictures to be a bit different and not show the details of the interior very well just like the other situations we were in... BUT the pictures were in fact real and very accurate to the actual boat! It was our 1st relief!Then... we met Gary! Sales team was literally a no pressure at all! Even though it was everything we wished for they told us the process to hold the boat and we (my husband and i) walked away to discuss what we wanted to do and Gary went to his office....that is amazing no hovering at allThen we decided yes we want it and met Gary in his office! From there it was even more amazing!!! I mean how much more amazing can it get you get to see the boat that you saw online and there are no deviations from picture to person and then our salesman is not pressuring us it’s all our decisions well.....We came in with an approval from a lender already and Trisha asked if they could attempt to get a better deal through their financingWe said go for it!!!!And just Guess What’s next!!!!Trisha got us a 4.2% cheaper Interest Rate!!!!!!We were paired with the perfect duo at Phil Dill Boats and we are so happy we drove there to see what they had! It’s an at home dealership with personable people who love on our kids like they are their own!Such an amazing experience and believe me anyone We know who is interested in a boat We will be sending them to Phil Dill Boats!!

Great experience. Chris and Toby are the best- and communicated very well. We have very limited time to do things such as purchase boats due to my schedule and just the logistics of it. They were very accommodating and worked with us- had to drop off the trade one week for eval, Chris wound up meeting me in Fort Worth at my job to exchange signatures and a check in order to get it done by end of April. They ran into a couple of minor issues with the boat that they were able to resolve on the day of delivery and demo - they put everyone on it to make sure it got addressed and we could take it home with us that day instead of waiting until the next week.

Pleased with Cory and his professional service both before and after the sale. I havent had the best experience with service but sales will get things done right if you have any issues.I expect luxury brand service like Id get if I were servicing a BMW or Lexus, and I think most buyers who spend $70k or more would expect that level of service without involving my sales person. I also think you all are passing up on significant revenue with boat sales with your current business model. For example my boat didnt come with docking lights, tower speakers, or the bow cushions, and I would have purchased these additional items from you if that had been part of the sales process.

Now that I’m looking for a boat of my own, one of the first websites I started searching on was theirs, despite the fact that I now live 4 hours away. I bought my boat here from Alex and had a great experience. I also had one service competed with Harry that was great too. Up to that point everything was great and would only consider bringing my boat to this business. The problems started this summer when I called and requested a call back (fuel pump replaced). I guess Harry wasnt there, so nobody called me back. I called three times over two days and left two messages with the service manager. The most recent time I went there, I was told to go directly to the company that would do my canvas repair and never got a call back on an accessory that I needed to purchase from their parts department. They also told me they were too busy to do a state inspection for my trailer and it would be at least 3 weeks out. The guy told me to go to U-haul. I will no longer consider this company for boat servicing.

Gary and Tricia helped us through the entire process from start to finish, on top of the fact that we were able to take off atleast 2k off of the boat, and they had also helped us arrange paperwork because we were missing the titles for the trailer and the motor that our previous dealer did not send. As icing on the cake, our family is going to be out of town and they agreed to hold our boat at the dealer for the whole month we are going to be gone free of charge! Update on RepairsPhil Dill contacted me and set a time to come to my house and pick up the boat. The service manager himself came by first thing in the morning, towed my boat off to a canvas shop that custom made a new top. The top is beautiful. Then the boat was taken to the service shop at Phil Dill and all repairs were taken care of even a few that were never part of the bill of work. All repairs were completed and an outstanding job was done. I could not be happier with the work done. Im obviously changing my review to 5 starsI brought my 2000 Cobalt boat to Phil Dill on Feb 2018 to have a bent outdrive shaft repaired and Trim Gauge repaired. The original estimate, under $4000. The insurance agent was notified since the vibration was linked to striking something in the lake and then the price for repair suddenly escalated to $9419.73! I got the boat back, Trim gauge still didnt work even though I spent $326.00 for a sending unit, which I told them it was probably a gauge. Brett, The Service Manager, stated that they would fix the trim gauge and take it for a drive to test it at no cost. The no cost test drive was inferred as to compensate me for changing the trim sender that obviously didn’t need changing. I got the boat back the second time, Apr 2018, I’m not sure if a gauge was replaced or not but there was some work done behind the dash. I know this because when I took it back out on the lake and sped up a little water started spewing in from under the dash all over my legs. The speedometer tube was left off. When I pulled it out of the water and removed the drain plug, gallons of water drained out of the boat. I then took the boat to the Slalom Shop. The water pump was leaking. The Slalom Shop made this statement about the trim gauge on my receipt, “It appears the trim sender has been changed out at some point, but was not completely sealed back with silicone and was not sitting in align as should be”. I told them I was going to take it back and get what I had paid for accomplished.I took my boat back in to fix the trim gauge and I had them summarize the boat. I was called a couple of weeks later, they didnt install the top right, it filled up with rain and was all torn up. They paid for patches to be put all over the top. There is now, in fact, multiple small tears in it too. They blamed the rain. When I picked up the boat, the trim gauge was still bad, along with the gas gauge, bilge blower, Nav. lights, and my retractable stern light was trying to extend but it was left unattached from the base and it just coiled up in the engine compartment and cracked the line. I took it back. Next time I got it back everything was working except the trim gauge. I opened the engine comp since I heard something back there and there was a screw gun on top of the engine, my gas gauge doesnt read right eitherI would not risk taking my boat back there again. I went and talked to the Service Rep, took the screw gun back and voiced my issues. I just really don’t know why they can’t fix a boat, and inspect the work when complete for, tools, quality, operation and damage etc. A boat should not be returned with more damage than it went in for. My last coversation went like this.I was told that the rain is the reason my top got damaged, not the fact that they put the cover back on wrong. Now my cover is patched and still has tears in it. It looks horrid. The stern light was just cracked, not the fact that it was left unmated to the guide and reeled up in the engine compartment.I mentioned that the trim gauge was installed wrong by them and was told “it’s a simple one wire system” which I stated its been here 4 times and it’s still broken, no response on that.I was told that the Bimini top pole was removed since it was poking into my upholstery but they never damaged the windscreen cover, It a very fresh gouge in the windscreen cover.

We mentioned it to our sales person, he said no problem...when you bring it back after the season for your 10 hr service (which he said was included with our purchase) theyd fix both of those items and anything else we found warranty wise throughout the season. Ok awesome. Now, fast forward to 01/2016. We take the boat into Phill Dill for our 10hr service as well as those two warranty items fixed. We also have two new scratches we need repaired which we had done ourselves during the season. We leave the boat there so they can come up with a quote on the work they are going to have to do on those two scratches. We finally get a call they are done with the 10hr service and they have our quote ready. We go to look over the quote and they have included the 10hr service that they had already completed mind you and said we had to pay for it because it was in fact not included with our purchase. I obviously get the GM involved who called our salesman and we came to the agreement that we would not be charged for the 10hr service. As we go over the rest of the quote we think their prices are outrageous but we tell them to go ahead with it because at this point we just want it done and over with. Now its the end of Feb early March. My husband gets a call that the boat is all ready to go. Woo hoo! Not so much. We pull up and they take us out back to go over the boat so we can check all of the work. The hole in the seat, not even touched. The warranty paint work where the window closes, not even touched. Where they had their fiberglass guy fix the scratch on the side of the boat, well, the boat is no longer just black as when we brought it in to them....it now clearly has white showing through the black paint throughout the entire area they repaired. Not fixed properly at all and very evident by just looking at it. We also have black paint over spray ALL OVER white back seats now! The boat is filthy and not detailed at all. How in the world are you going to call your customer and tell them their boat is done in this condition, did no one even look at the boat?Almost a month later they say they are done again. Now there are machine buff marks under the boat and it looks like they have bleach spots all over the back seat where they tried to clean all of their black paint off. Absolutely unacceptable. They buffed out the marks for us on site and are recovering the seat cushion so in the end it will all be completed but I have zero trust in the work they did. Not once but twice did they try and get shotty work past us, tried to give us our boat back in worse condition than when we left it all the while charging us out the wazoo to do it. Disgraceful.

Bought a used boat here from Tom and the process was nothing less of phenomenal. I went in once to look at the boat on land and negotiate the price (not much of a negotiation given the fair price) and get financing arranged. The second time we went in was for a test drive, finalization of the financing, and taking delivery of the boat. I have been through many new/used car buying experiences and was NOT looking forward to this process with a dealer. However, I was pleasantly surprised after working with Tom, the woman in charge of financing (I cant believe Ive forgotten her name!), and the make-ready/maintenance team. After a few times out on the lake, we noticed a miss with the engine between one to two thousand RPM. Contacted Tom and he got us in the very next week. Since the boat came with a warranty and it was a new (even though used) purchase, they got us in and figured out the previous owner had put the wrong brand of spark plugs in...problem fixed! But, did they stop there...NO! I was elated to pick the boat up and realize the maintenance team had moved the boat up on the trailer (it tows so much better now), fixed the hoist strap that broken after we had taken it off the lot, fixed a broken rivet on for the bimini top, and rewired the anchor light (this is a 2007 pontoon, fyi). If that isnt above and beyond, my definition is definitely skewed.Ok, Ive read the other negative reviews and they are quite laughable. A review about a boat getting you SOAKED....um, youre on the lake and you might get wet. Also, were not intelligent enough, or take the time, to take the boat for a test drive? That may have been mentioned later in the post, but it didnt warrant reading after the first couple lines.Long story short, this place is the real deal. Everyone is completely respectful, so extend them the same favor. Dont expect them to be mind readers and keep open lines of communication. I believe you too will be pleasantly surprised.

Purchased a 2014 Regal 274 Fasdeck from Phill Dill Boats in August 2014. A very expensive boat. After doing our homework we were very excited to have bought an apparent high end boat, or so it would seemed. We chose it over the Cobalt as it looked a little nicer and it is made in Orlando so we figured it may be better choice for Florida. The Sales staff at Phill Dill were excellent but thats where it all ends. The boat from the first time we used it had engine trouble. Engine light came on, boat had to go back to the dealer. They said it was corrected. Take it out to the lake, again Engine Light comes on. Several more times this happened, and we lost the remaining summer of boating. Volvo got involved, diagnostics you name it said it was fine, again same issue. During this time we were constantly asking for a new motor what did we know? Finally they take the motor apart and finally notice scraping in the cylinders, and realize the engine is bad. Finally. Boating season is now gone, paying $450.00 per month for a never used boat slip. Now it the winter and we are planning on taking the boat to Florida, we get the a new engine and subsequently upgrade it ($6500.00). Since then the engine was fine. Then when in Florida it shows that it is out of gas even when we fill it up. Hard to go out into the ocean when you dont know how much gas you have? Call Phil Dill, ohhh there is a recall on the gas tank float that needs to be replaced. You think this would have been done before selling us the boat? We bring it back to Dallas, and it gets fixed. This but a real damper on our boating vacation in Florida. All this being said Toby did his best to please us and work within the confines of protocol. A new boat at this point would have been in order. If it was a car, that is what would likely happen straight away. The Boat ItselfWe have circular holes cracking around the gel coat of the entire hull of the boat, looks like the release points of the boat mold itself. This was apparent within the first two weeks of owning the boat. Mentioned it seems to be of no concern to Phil Dill. Where is the Lifetime Hull Warranty. We will be in contact with Regal to check into this hopefully they stand by their product and correct it.Final StrawHere is the final straw that has caused me to write this review about Phil Dill Boats. I recently had the boat in for winterizing and service, and asked it they could detail the boat. The recently came back and it looks frankly like a cleaning job that I could have done myself in about 1 hour. They charged me $650.00. They didnt even buff out any of the hairline scratches on the black hull, no attempt. This was the reason I didnt do it myself. But heres the worst part. The front cushions now how perforation holes through the upholstery that werent there. We take awesome care of the boat. It is evident that someone stood on the seats likely while cleaning the boat and stepped on some tools or something that perforated the seats. Spend $650.00 for a $100 wash and cause thousands of dollars of damage to you boat. Great work! The boat is being taken today to Florida as we will be moving their shortly. I dont have to time to deal with Phil Dill on this and the other issues as we dont have time to have them fix it.We are far from complainers as evidenced but not giving the review until now. We have owned five boats over the years I can tell you I have not had so many issues with a boat or a dealership and feel we have a duty to let the buying puplic know about our experience. Boats are not like cars, and will have some level of quality issues which is understandable. But enough is enough. Very disappointing.

This is my favorite boating place. You see... Im a masochist. I enjoy pain. The more pain... the better! This place has brought me so much pain!!!!! Delicious. Love the pain! Bring it!My first boat purchased there was a Four Winns. Special ordered. Brand new. When it came in, the bimini top didnt fit. They messed around with it. Tried to fix it and it was really bad. Even at the back, they couldnt figure out how to fix it. It gouged into the gelcoat. It rubbed raw spots into the upholstery. So they made a frame out of 2 PVC plumbing pipe to support it! Awesome!! Feel the pain!!Next, I needed service for the 10 hour service ( an oil change and spark plug change). I get a call... Your boat is ready for pickup! Only thing is.... it was OVER A MONTH LATER!!! Awesome! The acid reflux that stung and burned my throat was even more incredible!Eventually, some sucker, er, nice person, purchased that boat from me. I then purchased a new Yamaha jetboat from an out-of-state dealer, but against my better judgment, took it Phil Dill for an oil change after 10 hours. :bangsheadintobrickwall: and when I pick it up, the back of the boat is damaged at the jet thrusters and oily soot is all over the back of the boat. WHAT A MESS!Their service manager, You must of brought it in like that. The PAIN! The PAIN! The glorious PAIN!!! They deliver it in spades. So... if youre like me and enjoy pain and suffering, then....THIS IS YOUR BOAT STORE!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO DELIVER A PAINFUL EXPERIENCE!Oh, and be sure to ask for Mary Ann. Tell her you want the Marquis de la Sade model.
