We bought a 2020 Moomba Max from the Slalom Shop in the spring. Drew was our salesman and he was awesome to work with throughout the whole process. I never felt pressured. I felt like I was dealing with someone I’d known for years. I would highly recommend Slalom Shop for your purchase and make sure to ask for Drew.

We recently purchased a new Cobalt R3 Surf from The Slalom Shop and it was by far the easiest and smoothest purchase we have ever made. Their staff was by far the best we have ever dealt with and we will certainly be making more purchases with The Slalom Shop in the future. We had one small issue with the boat a few days after delivery however their service staff immediately took the boat out of the water, resolved the issue and got the boat back in the water so that we could continue enjoying our new Cobalt. If you are in the market for a new boat or marine gear The Slalom Shop is the best there is. Dont bother with other shops that will waste your time and cause you unneeded frustration!

We came in to Slalom just wanting to look, but by the end of our time with Chris we were ready to buy. Chris was absolutely awesome. We have never owned a boat and Chris really guided us to a boat with everything we needed and nothing more. He spent time to teach us the basics and not once through out the process did we ever feel rushed. We ended up buying a bunch of gear too and the guys running the shop were just the same. They educated us, gave us lots of choices and were very patient. Everyone we worked with at Slalom was amazing. We’ve now had our boat a few weeks and absolutely love it. We are hooked and I’m positive when we decide to upgrade we will do it with Slalom.

Purchased a new Supra from these guys and I cant say enough about Drew Wilson and the entire staff even to the service department to even the pro shop. They really make you feel like a part of the family and take care of their customers. I work in sales myself so its nice to see the great customer service they provide throughout the entire facility. Mickey in the pro shop is the guy to talk to as far as boards, life jackets and boating equipment he is very knowledgeable. The only downside is that their service and maintenance department is a little backed up but that is just due to the number of boats they have sold this year so i am not going to hold that against them. They make sure to do little things right and treat you with respect. Me being a younger guy no one would take me seriously until I met with Drew and he made sure i got the boat i wanted and was happy with. Again, cant say enough good things about Drew and the Slalom shop, i will continue to buy my boats from them.

I purchased a Cobalt R5 from this dealer, being told of the high quality of Cobalt. I swore I would never own another inboard / outboard, however was assured Volvo components were different .At five and a half years ( 6 months after warranty expiration ) my fuel pump goes out to the tune of a fourteen hundred dollar part.Not sold on Quality of this Cobalt line now.Also told a bunch of BS about delay in service .Tech actually doing work very nice though.Brock Lynn

In July of this year, I bought a Moomba Makai from Slalom Shop in Lewisville. I worked with Drew Wilson, who was super friendly, knowledgeable, and great to work with. Although Ive had a number of boats, this was my first v-drive wake boat, and I was unfamiliar with the boats various systems (e.g., surf, ballast, tabs). Drew walked me through the entire boat and its features, took my wife and me out on the lake, and ensured that I was comfortable with the boat and that it was dialed in before we headed back to the ramp. Since the sale, Ive had a number of questions and/or requests, and Drews been there every time. Hes not only a consummate professional who knows and does his job extremely well, hes genuinely a good guy. Ill definitely be doing business with Drew again. Thanks, Drew!

I was boat shopping for over a year. Spent a weekend to check out boat row in Lewisville and one of my stops was the Slalom Shop for 30 minutes or so to check out Moombas. Fast forward 8 months later to boat sow time and of all the places I visited, only Drew remembered me. And by remember I mean he greeted me with a handshake and by name. Thats incredible, really just incredible! Knowing your customers and potential customers that well made me realize the tremendous effort that Drew puts into his work. A number of reasons had me choose Moomba for my first boat for the family, but my decision was solidified and reinforced multiple times by the service I received from Drew, especially, but also the finance gentleman Russ and the surf/wake shop experts Mickey and Brian (who even helped my wife ease her fear of piloting the boat through much patience and sound advice!). Drew was great at keeping me informed of my build, sent pics, and updates on requests I had. Even accidentally texted him some inconsequential question on a Sunday thinking it was a Saturday (they are off Sunday and I try to respect peoples off days/family time) and he was quick to respond. I have no qualms recommending this shop, they are friendly, fair, transparent, and I genuinely enjoy every visit.

I stopped in at this store just the other day. Ive been looking at new and used boats online and wanted to see a few up close. Sales person Craig Maynard was there to assist me. He was very helpful and patient with all of my questions and concerns. He was happy to answer questions not only about the boats this store carries but also answered questions about boats not sold by this dealer. It is rare to find someone who is willing to go above and beyond to help a customer. This alone was enough for me to vote 5 stars. However, I can say more for their facilities. The showroom is impeccable and there are many models right there on display. Please stop in and see for yourself. You wont be disappointed.

I visited this location earlier in the week. I’m in the market for a Moomba Mojo, or moomba makai. I walked in and was told they would send a salesperson to me. I walk straight to the boat I’m interested in and the salesman meets me over there. I ask a few questions which he answers, I ask to run numbers and see what I can get for my trade. I explained that I lived in Arkansas and the boat was at home ( I’m here for work but I could have had my wife meet me at the dealership with it) he told me he couldn’t work numbers because he had a demo in and hour and couldn’t find my boat but that he would get back to me by the end of the day. I thought this was weird considering I’m a well qualified buyer in the dealership looking to buy and having done my research. I let it slide and waited for a call or text to work numbers ... I told him I was headed home Friday and it’s 5 hours away. Well here we are ... not a response, and it’s Friday and time to go home. I was in Dallas all week and was serious about getting a boat. I guess I’ll continue my search for someone that actually wants to sell me the boat I’m looking for.

Purchased new cobalt 250 here in 2003. Great buying experience. Began having starting issues beginning last summer. David in service department and technician Matt have been awesome. Boat repaired and running great. Best boat dealership. Would not buy or repair anywhere else.

Absolutely outstanding. Drew went above and beyond. He provided us with excellent sales service before, during and after our boat puchase. He is professional and very knowledgeable. He provided us with a lot of information to assist us as we were moving into a different category of ski/wake boat. Not to mention his patience while we checked out all the different boats in their inventory (great inventory on hand). It was amazing how he coordinated the shipping from TX to CO and provided several training videos on how the boat features work so we could get up and running. These are just a few examples of his great service. We are very glad that we purchased our boat from Drew at the Slalom Shop.

We were first time boat owners so service was very important to us and we could not have been happier. Went in twice to see about two different boats. Called in advance and spoke with sales manager both times. Each time was rather abruptly shown the door by the sales person. Purchased a new Cobalt from another dealer. Location is convenient but not the friendliest of places, bless their hearts.

Everyone there was great! They stayed open late when we first went in so we could look around and they answered all our questions without ever rushing us out. Drew is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. This is the first boat we ever bought and everone at Slalom made the experience extremely pleasurable! We recommend EVERYONE we see to go there! Seemless! Excellent experience. I searched 2 years for this boat and these guys were beyond fair and just awesome. I had my boat shipped 1500 miles to Georgia and it all went so well. From negotiating a fair price with Craig, to financing by Russ it was a wonderful experience. I love my boat and its in perfect condition. I mean the finance managers name is Russ Manley, for second I thought maybe I am being scammed what a great name. I had great credit and Russ beat my credit union by 2 percent for a 20 year term. Craig went above and beyond answering all my questions. The shipping company recommended was awesome too and I still got a MUCH better deal than my local dealer. Thanks guys! I actually have not bought a boat from these guys but their accessories shop is top notch! Great customer service from guys who know and love the water and everything about the toys to use on them! From Wakeboards to Inflatables, these guys know their stuff and have one of the best selections in the area! Catch them at the boat show for some great deals too! My next boat will probably be from these guys just because of the customer service Ive received from the Toys dept.!

I do not trust the service department. Get a second opinion before you let them do any work. Get evidence of any issues they claim are problematic.

I was working with a private seller, locally and received a referral to Slalom Shop. I was truly impressed with the attention and the customer service experience from David Bourgeois and his team. They inspected the boat I was to purchase and went way out of their way to accommodate me. Not only did they quickly respond to my every request, they spent time with me to adjust my trailer once I did purchase the boat - that was never part of their responsibility, but they wanted to make sure I was well taken care of. One last thing to note - post inspection, when I made my way back and put the boat in the water, I noticed that they missed a minor detail in the inspection - the prop on the boat had a few nicks in it which caused a minor vibration - when I called David and mentioned it to him he told me to send the prop to them and he would take care of it. Once again, going out of their way and having a penchant for excellent service. I would absolutely recommend them for service! Thanks!

I bought my first used boat from Slalom Shop in 2012. When buying the boat the sales team promised they had a guaranteed 30 point or so inspection on pre-owned boats. During the summer of 2012 and 2013 the engine did run a little warm, but never any real issues. In the summer of 2014 I went to trade my boat in for a smaller boat and Slalom Shop told me that they could not work with me, because I needed a new engine and I needed to look else where. When I asked for the inspection report when they bought the boat from the previous owner I was told they throw the reports away after the first year. Be cautious and do your homework and ask for the inspection report BEFORE purchasing a used boat when buying from Slalom Shop. First time buyer loss, their gain.

Great service and great perseverance! ! I had very unusual overheat problem with my 2006 Chaparral 236SSi at PK. I bought the boat here from the shop just before Slalom Shop took over. Tech checked and replaced one exhaust manifold and a switch dockside. Reasonable bill. Did not fix the overheat problem. Tech replaced damaged impeller dockside. Reasonable bill. Did not fix it. They used their trailer and took it to Lewisville. Did some more work and returned it. Overheat again (Gremlins!). Took it back. Replaced other exhaust manifold and impeller pump housing and did other work. That worked. It took awhile but they did not give up on it even though it is not a boat they sell anymore and they were swamped. Other than short waits for parts, they kept at it constantly. Did not let it sit. They never charged me for trailer use or transport and did not charge for additional parts and work done at Lewisville to fix overheat. These folks are standup guys and awesome. HIGHLY recommend them for service. Thank you Slalom Shop!
