This place is embarrassingly operated.they need to be re-staffed and re-trained. ALL THE WAY UP TO MANAGEMENT. Especially the manager working Sunday morning.After calling with an item number and the person on the phone acting befuddled at an item number, he says they have the floor model of a gazebo and will sell it. cool, the convo comes to a natural conclusion. then as Im hanging up he starts talking again. we were already on our way so we just went.only to show up (to an empty store) to a clearly put out manager who seemed really worried about covering phones. which is interesting cuz I was on hold nearly 10 minutes.I tell him I just called about buying the gazebo and in a huff with a smirk says youre not getting it today!He tells us the floor model has not been disassembled and he needs to wait for another manager before he can do that. That he wont be ready until tomorrow but we needed to pay for it up front.Absolutely not. You already seem in over your head and you want me to pay in advance for something youre about to have to disassemble? what if it gets damaged? you refund us? that doesnt help us. He seemed so put out by the ordeal. but the gazebo isnt even one they can get in stock anymore so they needed to take it down anyway. why would we need to pay in advance for that? take it down and we come back and make sure its all together and in good shape, THEN we pay. we werent even asking for a discount. just wanted to trust what we spent so much money on.this manager should consider retirement. he even got snitty with the cashier.we called a different location. they had what we needed and didnt act like it was a problem. 🤷🏻‍♀️I hope, for the staffs sake, some changes are made.

It was a good stop for some quick items for home essentials and decor. They have a very good price on pillows and window essentials. The rewards program is good for coupons. They also had some good sells. Its been about 2-3:years since Ive been. Will return soon.

Highly disappointed. Expected better service.Ask a male worker for help on getting a twin mattress. He said OK, I waited 20 minutes, no help. Another worker saw me by the mattresses, by passed me and went to a Caucasian woman. Saw the same male worker who asked for help, of course helping someone else of lighter skin color.

This location on main Street in Lewisville is big; clean but was pretty bare. I found what I was looking for and the staff are very nice.

No King size pillowcases. Kind of mixed up store. Majority of prices are pre-printed, not necessarily bargains. Big LOTS of stuff from China. Limited selections in all categories.

The store has been reorganized and very nicely arranged. I can usually find the essential items needed when other stores run out. Registers have been restructured for Covid safety.

It has been awhile since Ive been there so alot has changed. The store looks like its brand new. The way its laid out is perfect. No crowded isles, nice & open. Plus as far as the staff goes there are not enough words 2 say how wonderful they are. It was an absolute pleasure 2 shop there & cant wait 2 go back.

Whenever I cant find what Im looking for Im disappointed. Usually when I go to Big Lots Im not looking for anything in particular so if I leave the store empty handed its no big deal. This time, however, I needed a shelving unit for my canning jars, books, etc. The layout of the store had changed which did not appeal to me. All the furniture was in the middle and the other items were in rows all around the furniture and the only two shelving units they had were not the color I needed. There was a lot of empty floor and shelf space. So much so I almost asked a clerk if they were going out of business. Maybe I will try online options, but chances are I wont go there again anytime soon

I always find what I need here at great prices! I would give this a five star revie, but I always have to dig for my items. If this store was more organized it would be better. And its not the cleanest, but everything is packaged well. I like this place but I only come for certain items then go. I did find lovely chairs there for my patio though!

Employees are always nice. Newly remodeled stores look great. Prices are decent depending on the items youre looking for.

Went there to pick up some calendars for Christmas gifts. I always feel like I have to check the quality of whatever I buy there. You have to know what things cost elsewhere to make sure its a good deal. I did find Duncan Hines Perfect Size for 1 cake mixes for $1. I have purchased them at other stores for $2.50.

This store has a superior furniture selection to other locations definitely worth a stop.

Great prices!! I also was able to find a lot of unique things for Christmas presents I would recommend shopping here first before you do any of your shopping at any of the Targets or Walmarts. Youll find that you will end up spending much less. Employees are helpful. Cashier: Valerie is a Major asset to this store. David is a very hard-working manager. I would steal both of his employees if possible.

Folks they have remodeled and remerchandised this store. They going right after HomeGoods and Target. I have not been a fan todays....but am I impressed. They deserve our business. Go check them out.

I love this store except quite a few of the items cost more than even going to Walmart. Which I dont understand that. But I do like that you have some different items than other places.

Best Big Lots Ive ever been to in my life. Its huge and has amazing patio furniture and a separate store basically just for household furniture. The managers are always super kind, as well.

Stopped in to help set up spare bedroom. Got gueen size sheets, comfort set and bedside lamp for under $100. And still had money to get lunch on the way home. ☺

Roy in furniture is a dedicated employee. He goes above and beyond in his knowledge and expertise. His constant smile and friendly attitude draws a customer in.

If youre shopping for furniture at this location, ask for the furniture manager Ray! He does a great job with taking care of his guests and doesnt pressure you into anything youre not happy with! I highly recommend seeing him and thank him for his amazing customer service!

Store is great for quick household items..Need more registers open during peak times, the line was getting long and some had to wait until another cashier called them over.

This establishment is large with many things to look at! There are some deals here but only if you know your brands and what they normally cost. Overall a great place to spend your money.

I like shopping here when my local Big Lots is out of a given item that I specifically want or Ive bought the last one on the shelves. This store has a different layout and lots more furniture than the Carrollton store.

Love this store, it is always clean and the workers are super nice. they are always well stocked and organized!

I enjoy looking around and finding bargains. But I detest when the workers start rushing you out 10-15mins before closing. They cant wait to get out of there so they pressure you to rush. So many times the cashier will scowl the entire time Im standing there and never say a word, not even THANK YOU, which is a HUGE let down for me. No one has EVER offered to help carry items to the car. I have NEVER received any points on my BIG LOTS CARD. And they have issued 3 cards to me. Dont understand why there continues to be problems.

I do like the fact they change the stock around buy it can get frustrating when you buy it on a regular basis and they again no longer carry it. You can find some bargains there but most of the time the toys and seasonal items are as high if not higher than other retailers.
