Dirty all the time and frozen food always seems lightly thawed. Freezers were filthy and filled with Empty boxes and making a weird rumbling noise. Purple onions were infested with gnatsEvery time I’ve gone in this store it’s disgusting and tonight was probably the worst I’ve seen it

High end neighborhood. Low end store. Everything is always old in the fruit and produce section.I went here for 6 days in a row for the fried chicken that’s cold. When I get here today they had it. With condensation on the inside. When I looked at the thermometer 54. I would not trust anything in there open air refrigerators! Always way to hot in them.Never shop here again. Walked out.

Im giving this experience at this store 4 stars because of the assistant manager did her job well and treated me with respect as customer I wish I remembered her name but the BAKERY department employees i couldnt even talk to a person on the street let alone a customer for telling them my cake is the wrong colors but its OK Im running late I will take it. I have shopped at krogers fir so many years like 19 to 20 and different areas NEVER did I ever experienced that kind of attitude. I have ordered a birthday cake from them for years since my but I guess after this time to find new Bakery.

Wow, this is by far the nicest Kroger I have ever been in. The employees were all very friendly. I wish all of the employees at my Kroger had to spend a month here in order to learn how to treat customers. I will definitely come back to this Kroger even though its 12 mikes from my home.

We had a very hard time working with self checkout. The machine could not read when an item was in banging and kept calling for assistance. It was annoying but a very nice employee Ashton handled it with ease. He was very patient and was a really good sport about it. Very nice customer service. Thank you Ashton!

Love their fried chicken, found it, hadnt sold out.😊 Fun fact good to know, they have a toy department. Not aisle, but a couple of aisles, a variety and board games. Will be frequenting more often for grandkids.

Typical Kroger. Underpaid, bottom of the barrel talent. No management presence and everyone looks like they hate being there. I know I hate being there, so hard to blame them.I especially enjoy the stocker crew that works during the day / while the store is open. The looks of hate and contempt for shopping while they work, really fuel my desire to never go back in.Make sure to not buy anything frozen, by the time you get through the two open checkout lanes on a Saturday at 3pm, it will be fully cooked! And yourself old enough to have given up the need for food anyway.Just because this is Castle Hills, doesnt mean this store still isnt Kroger. The worst grocery chain.

Went to Krogers on Sunday. I was returning an item that was open when I bought it. A worker was getting ready to move a pallet and I walked past him. He got upset with me because I wouldnt wait for him to move the pallet. Im thinking to myself like wait, Im the customer youre suppose to watch out for me not the other way around. Its up to workers to keep customers safe, youre being paid to serve Im not.He got mad and started arguing with me in store, I wasnt saying to much.The store manager started calling the mans name to tell him to stop but the man kept going, he wasnt listening. The manager walked over to the man and talked to him. To me it seemed like they were talking about the produce department and not about what had just happened. Anyways I complained to corporate but no one ever contacted me to apologize. I sent my complaint to the district manager and still no apology and no assurance nothing like that will ever happen again, I got nothing but silence. I didnt deserve to be fussed at in the store like I was a child. I got an apology from a guy that wasnt even involved but thats it.I will never shop here again. Id rather drive further to shop somewhere Im comfortable. As a customer I want to feel safe when I shop and I dont feel safe here.

Only gave a star because I HAD TO. For years I have had cakes made at Kroger, every birthday, special occasions etc. I would highly recommend but not this Kroger. For four days, FOUR DAYS, my mom tried to place a cake order. Only for the cake to be picked up and be WRONG. They started with the associate telling her they couldn’t put pictures on the cake…WRONG! (I’ve done it). Now if the machine is broken or you don’t have the talent that’s different. She got the run around from 3 managers for FOUR days, promises of calls returned, (that never happened), even to the point of the final manager promising it to be done right and that he personally would make sure. The last time she went up there the associate drew some type of diagram of how it was suppose to look & included DO NOT PUT THIS PICTURE ON THE CAKE… guess what… they put the picture on the cake anyway. The length managers will go to to keep business is beyond me. (I wish she would have gone somewhere else after day 1). Day of the party they charged her $70 for a cake that was wrong and refused to refund. Then the rude manager, Michelle, (who had no idea from the beginning) tried to argue me down that the cake was done correctly before she HUNG UP on me. There were more details included in this but you get the point. Just go somewhere elseI never cussed or yelled.. did I talk stern ABSOLUTELY because I paid for a service that WAS WRONGGGGGG and there was no fixing it.

When you see a line of 4 customers in your only checkout out line, all whom are choosing NOT to go to self-checkout, please open up more registers and/or staff your location. I did not see any “hiring now” signs so you should be well staffed.

I am very shocked and disgusted from what i witnessed yesterday morning at this Kroger. i witnessed a male employee(mid 60s probably) verbally ABUSE a female employee half his age. his whole demeanor was very misogynistic. very disappointed that kroger is okay with having such hateful employees.

Treated extremely poorly by Palair the pharmacist. She refused to give me a two day supply of a prescription I ran out of that I’ve been on for 5 years. I needed two pills to get me through the weekend since my doctors office was closed to do the refill. I have filled at this pharmacy for years and done this dozens of times w zero issues. Again she refused and said it wasn’t allowed which clearly isn’t the case since every other pharmacist at her pharmacy has done this. I got a hold of my doctor at his after hours phone line and he thought it was extremely weird she wouldn’t give a two day supply until my appointment. He called in the prescription right away for me. Palair has also told the store manager she contacted my doctor that day and he had denied the prescription. My doctor said that was untrue and he hadn’t spoken to anyone from the pharmacy that day. Again the way I was treated and talked down to was unacceptable

I usually dont post many things unless Im not satisfied and for the 2nd time in a month, I had someone who walked in front of me at the food department and didnt ask if I need anything and walk off. What really piss me off this time is that a lady walked in 5he hot food section, turned off lights on the food walked off, came back and looked at me and continue to do whatever she was doing then walk away and out the section. I dont know whats bad but that was bad customer service.

I really wish this Kroger location would work harder to bring the shopping carts back in the building. I shop here at least twice a week & the cart corrals in the parking lot are always overflowing & there’s barely any carts inside the building. The store is clean & customer service is good, though.

The quality of service has dipped here in the past year. I get people are burned out by the pandemic, but I notice refusal to enforce masking all over the store.At least six people tonight alone with no masks on at all; two of them older, middle-aged men high-fiving about it! Phil, who I presumed was a manager, walked right past them without a mention or anything.We aren’t through this yet, so slacking is just going to hurt everyone. Until the vaccines are widely shipped and some normalcy returns, I don’t think I’ll be shopping at Kroger’s.

Used to prefer this Kroger, but their own employees dont even keep masks on.Shout out to cashier Joshua in checkout lane 6 the other night who couldnt seem to keep his mask over his nose.No one else who worked at the store seemed to care, despite looking right at him.The amount of times people get assaulted for asking someone to mask up is not worth a customers risk.If a business wont keep its own employees safe, they wont keep their customers safe either..

Its a nice Kroger with a great beer section but the pick up service is awful. They obviously dont look that hard and just say its out but if you walk in theyve clearly got plenty of that item.

Chris in the meat and seafood department is absolutely amazing 👏 ...omg this awesome guy went out of his way and provided beyond superior service and he is just a pleasure to encounter, called the store for specific seafood and he knew exactly what I wanted upon arrival! Do not bother with pickup service. We ordered groceries 3 days ago. The order has been delayed 2xs. Then today they told us to wait till 12pm to pick up. We came and have been sitting in line for over 2 hours. Cant pull forward. Cant back up. We are locked in and stuck between multiple cars. Ive called the number posted on their signs to inform them that I am here and ready to pick up my order. A lady answers and argues with me that its not her department and ahe will transfer us...and yet we are here still waiting. No one is picking up the phone. This is a waste of time. Im so angry right now.

Great selection and love the deli, bakery and seafood counters. They have an excellent selection of wine and many housewares. My only complaint is if I come in to shop in the evening especially on the weekends many of the items Im looking for are empty on the shelf and the other day they were sold out of tilapia at the seafood counter. They need a better replenishment program for busy days.

I cant say enough about this Kroger. I stopped going to Target to come here because the variety and stocked items are just amazing! Need select a size paper towels in pandemic? No problem, toddler isnt quite 24 months but bigger than 18 months and needs feet sleepers? no problem oh and here is a discount too, toddler only wants cubed cheese? No problem it exists! Haha I have gone to so many different Krogers and they are usually picked over but nope this one is hands down my favorite!

The young lady you had work on lane 8 around 8pm 9 ish was very unpleasant. I walked up to her sitting down on her phone which I don’t mind not busy, but for her to be annoyed that I walked up and said hello and she said nothing, then didn’t even hand me my receipt it was sort of thrown at me I still said thank you with her saying nothing again.. like wow did I really bother you that much! Usually I would say something but I’m tired of this location this is my 2nd time having a problem with someone the last time I was at this location. I was accuse of stealing pair of shoes while in the middle of the transaction! then I was over charged for them, I only found that out because I was so upset I tried to return everything that I PURCHASED. however the manager and customer service lady was so nice and made me re-think everything, so I didn’t end up returning them but I should have. Only reason I was shopping at that location was because I had just paid my rent and figure what the heck but then I went tonight to shop for someone else and still the customer service is just yuck!

Visited the store this evening (2/4/2021) because its less busy at night so we can avoid larger crowds. we were very upset to see that many customers and employees were not wearing masks. it was restock day so we kept passing by two workers, male and female, who were not wearing masks. the female had hers pulled down on her chin, while the male did not have one at all. we watched a manager approach them and did not mention wearing masks. it was a scary experience to have an essential business disregard customer safety. very disappointed with this location

As another reviewer said we walked in about 12:40 am on 12/18/2020 to get a few gift cards and had the most horrible customer service ever from a lady at the self Checkout registers i’ve never dealt with this type of customer service at any Kroger before and I normally go to the one in prosper or Little Elm and have excellent service we will never return!!!

The store is very well stocked and clean. But grocery store pick up is completely useless. With the pandemic we have tried to use pickup more. With out fail, every order is wrong in some way. Incorrect quantities of anitem, or the wrong items all together, but when you walk in the store, none of the out of stock items are actually out of stock. Cant tell if if the people filling the orders are just lazy, or if they dont care. Surely I am not the only one experiencing this, right?

I like Kroger, their prices are good and the store is clean. I gave 3 stars because I did a pick up grocery order and the peppers they gave me were wrinkled and had black marks on them.Update: I removed a star because today is Thursday and Im still waiting on Kroger to adjust my payment and put it through. My money has been pending in my account all week. They dont give you everything you order due to supply, so the amount it says you owe isnt right in the end. In my case its almost $100 they are trying up.

We have been going here for almost five years. The last year the produce has been terrible. Most of its in different states if decay and we end up picking up more frozen or boxed items because even the meat department is going down hill with greying meats or chicken that is no longer white but a strange yellow color and checking the expiration date they shouldnt be bad but you open it and its slimy and smells terrible

Overall good store. I go out of my way to go to this specific Kroger.My main complaint is the checkout experience. Like most grocery stores there are significantly more self checkout lanes than manned lanes. I have never seen more than two lanes open where an actual person checks you out. I find self checkout somewhat convenient when I stop for a few items but they are glitchy and there is never enough room if you fill up more than 4 grocery bags. I am good at a few things, but scanning fruits/vegetables and 70 other items and bagging them in about 4 square feet is not my forte.My other two small complaints for the rating are;1. Never enough of the smaller carts. I know by looking in the parking lot whether to grab one or not.2. The part time people who pick (shop) for online orders often congregate to chat in places that are not always convenient and they tend to come flying out from an aisle without any regard to their surroundings.

Love this Store. Always well stocked ( at least they used to be. ( March 2020) otherwise in any other day. This place was very busy but well stocked. always clean. good prices. friendly staff. great selection of foods and other accessories. being that its in the northern part of Dallas ( Plano) its a much bigger and newer store. its inventory includes some clothes. and home decore needs. which many other stores do not have. You walk in and your blown away by just how warm and comfortable it feels. Perhaps even luxurious. At least thats the impression I got the first time I walked. I had to stop and make sure I wasnt in a Tom Thumb. So anyway it had certainly become my favorite store to shop at. And I highly recommend it.

First they are not cleaning the shopping carts, they are not cleaning the self checkout stations, there employees are not wearing the face mask correctly, sorry but take an example, Target they actually are following the safety guidelines to protect the customers.

I went to to exchange some swimsuits that I purchased for my wife while I was grocery shopping. I was told they are not accepting returns due to Covid. I said that makes sense but I was unaware. They said there was a poster somewhere but I didn’t see it. Would’ve never bought multiple options had I not known there were no returns. On top of that everyone in customer service had a terrible attitude about it. I couldn’t even get an answer as to whether or not I will be able to return these in the future.

Great big Kroger! It has everything you need, even fine jewelry and clothes. The deli and bakery have a massive selection, we did have a run-in with a baker but it was resolved very quickly. I always prefer this one over the other location down 423. Cleanest Kroger Ive ever seen.

I normally wouldn’t rate a grocery store, but this Kroger is the best. It’s always clean and well organized and the people who work there are so friendly and helpful!

Dont shop in this store before 9am or after 6pm. They dont open the doors when they first open so you could be waiting a long time while employees file in one by one. After 6pm, they will have self-checkout only and long lines. If you are shopping for a whole family, the self-checkout is inadequate to hold more than 4 bags of groceries. Only one employee will eventually be able to help you. Other employees are rude or dismissive. If you do get into a cashier line, make sure the cashier isnt setting merchandise on the scale while she weighs your produce. The baggers arent trained properly and often dont group your items or they use too many plastic bags. Literally had each item placed in its own bag on one trip. The deli is decent at this location, at least they clean the equipment properly. Dont use the bakery for birthday cakes because they dont follow directions on your order and they do nothing creative if asked. They dont call you when you ask and wont be available when they say they will. And when you run into any of these issues while shopping, it is pointless to speak to a manager. There is a sorry you feel that way response and no accountability. No point in calling or emailing corporate to report all of these failures. The website says they will respond in 48 hours but they do not. I used to shop there for my groceries but will no longer subject myself to these problems. Now when I shop, I have no issues at all, just shop and get what I need. I only encounter courteous professionals.

I really enjoy shopping here. They have everything! Their deli is so good! Sushi and a cheese shop. They have homemade tortillas. A wide variety of beer and wine. Natural and organic food. The meat department is worth the trip alone. Fresh cut. Amazing meat! They have really cute shoes and clothing. I have bought shoes for myself and daughter here and they were well priced and did not fall apart.

I WILL OFFICIALLY STOP GOING TO THIS KROGER AFTER MY LAST EXPERIENCE AND WILL BE TELLING OTHERS TO DO THE SAME. Before today, there have been flies surrounding the produce section, cashiers having personal conversations while ringing up customers, prices ring up incorrectly and the people are rude when you try to have them fix it, and of course they have way too many self checkouts —probably to prevent people from having to deal with their banal staff. Today, the person running selfcheckout was nowhere to be found when customers needed help. Nobody was even attending to the self checkout near the pharmacy door. After all the wait I decided to leave because I couldn’t get help finding what I wanted. When I left the attendant who was supposed to be watching the customers was sitting by the door out of view of customers throwing some items around in a bin. I understand we are in an icy situation but this is constantly an issue where Kroger employees think there are more important things to do than help customers. I will stop doing business with the Kroger brand and drive a little bit further to Tom Thumb for groceries; even Walmart has given me better service than this place.

I like to call this Kroger, the Department Store Kroger because it has a jewelry store inside. They also sell clothes & shoes and even have a dressing room. They also have a large toy selection. Like a target or Walmart although not quite that big. They have great gourmet choices and their fresh fruit & vegetables are beautiful! Its really got to be seen & experienced to really get the whole scope of how cool it is!

While I did like the store, I HATED the checkout experience. I get it, every store is trying to push everyone off on to self check-out because they dont want to have any employees there to actually give you any customer service. The problem with that is when you buy lowest bidder software that is the worst in the industry. Kroger self-checkout software is worse than anywhere else Ive ever been. I only went to get a couple of items, one of them being a greeting card. I scan the card, put it in the bag, and the software froze insisting that the weight in the bag didnt change enough so I must not have put the item in the bag. Its a greeting card, it doesnt weigh much. I left it and the other items sitting there and walked out.This inadequate effort in software design is ridiculous. Get your acct together Kroger.

Very clean, well stocked, and prices are great. Their meat and seafood department has a great staff, and the meat and seafood choices are better than most other grocery stores in our area. This is one of the few grocery stores that offer whole catfish instead of pieces.

Love my Kroger Market Place in Little Elm but like this one a little bit more. It is larger, has greater inventory and I enjoyed using the scan as you cart feature. I am hoping my Little Elm store has it now as I did not notice it the last time I was there.

This is one huge store! They carry all the normal sundry goods in addition to a nice cheese bar. They also carry clothing and I have found their prices quite reasonable and the styles chic.

Just wanted to share my experience with the new Kroger. I was impressed with them until today. I live by the old one but have chosen to shop there since they pretty much opened.We bought two packages of muffins from there that their own bakery baked. Never had any problems. Made it halfway through one this morning and found a SHARP piece of plastic that was baked halfway down inside. Took a video of it and called the store.Spoke with manager John. All he said was Well Im going over there right now. Thanks for letting me know. If you guys want to return them the next time youre in thats fine. NO APOLOGIES. No well Im glad you caught it in time and didnt choke or have anything else happen to you. It seemed like he was in a rush to get off the phone. Keep in mind this is 830 on a Wednesday morning. How busy can they be?

This is a place top notch products. The customer service is great and the prices are very affordable. Well organized!

Clean, decently wide aisles, has a larger variety of some products than the older Kroger on Main. Has a significantly smaller selection of store brands. Nice salad bar and selection of fresh heat-and-eat meals. I think the organization of the store isnt always logical so sometimes its hard to find things but there are usually lots of employees willing to help you.

Very impressed! This was my first time going to this Kroger and I am in love! It compares to a super target of sort but the staff was super friendly and when above and beyond to help me find what I needed. I was running late and this Kroger had me in and out in no time flat! Thanks!!

This is a Kroger that is much larger than the typical supermarket. As such, it has a larger selection of items including clothing, shoes, toys, and housewares. As a supermarket, the store is well-organized and the selection is amazing. In addition, Kroger has a brand, called Simple Truth, that offers organic versions of almost every kind of food available. This Kroger offers higher quality brands of most items, so there is a bit of a discovery process possible. You may find products you have never seen before. The regular prices are not the greatest, but they have good sales and promotions, including money off on multiple items from a group. All-in-all, this store provides a very pleasant shopping experience with a great selection.

We have gotten gas out front many times because of the prices being competitive. Tonight was the first time we went inside. Huge Kroger with lots of clothing as well as groceries. Well lit. Lots of wide aisles. Quick checkout. We will use this as a secondary Kroger since the Carrollton one is closer to where we live.

What is up with this Kroger gas station? Why do they allow people to loiter, trying to sell some glass cleaner? I just want to fill my car with gas, not listen to a sales pitch and have someone spray some stuff all over my car. This is really a turn off.

First time I visited this place, I was ecstatic to find that the store expanded. They sell everything, from natural and organic variety of foods, home supplies, and even clothing. On top of it all, everyone was so pleasant, helpful and cheerful, even at 7 in the morning. Its always amazing how a greeting can brighten ones day, and all the workers here have done that. They were also really quick to check you out at the register, and bag all your things.

I had a few things to pick up along with prescriptions. I first went to get my prescriptions and theyre all theyre ready and I was quickly checked out. I then proceeded to find a few things I needed for supper. I had one question about where something was the young lady at the service desk was very helpful and gave me good directions to what I was looking for. Checking out was easy. Overall I was in and out and this was during rush hour traffic coming home. Thank you Kroger

The staff and management here are unethical, unprofessional, nitzi, Tiffany and Carolyn were abusive and manipulative. My customer care experience from Dan, Jim and Phil were all sarcastic, inauthentic, and they try to justify unprofessionalism. These are managers that behave this way, imagine the staff. Not a good store experience will not be returning.

Service is excellent someone always ready to help. Store is really clean. Starbucks is awesome very friendly staff, go by there every morning they know what I order!Thank you to management for hiring such great people!

Ordered a customized chocolate birthday cake from there and it was the best ever! I got so many compliments about this cake. Karina wanted everything to be chocolate even the roses and the writing! Very fresh, moist and extremely good!

This store is pretty awesome! I can spend an afternoon just exploring all they have to offer... from clothing and fine jewelry to a top notch selection of fine wines and cheese. Looking forward to more Kroger stores like this one!

Great store, and the deli has a huge variety of deli meats to cater to your carnivorous tastes! The Starbucks inside makes your favourite drinks just as good if not better than your local standalone store. -1 star for the guy at the Asian/Sushi department for being rude, and not using his noggin!~

Very clean. Good selection. Lots of registers and self checkout. A lot better than the Kroger on Hebron IMO. Ill drive a little further to go to this one.
