We have a 1995 GMC G20 converted van where the side picture window was shattered. We contacted several companies recommended by our insurance company, but they all turned us down. Rude. I went to their website and requested a quote for 4 simple pieces of tempered glass. Two minutes later I get this response “We are located in Lexington, SC. Are you still wanting pricing? We do not ship glass!” I know where you are located. I am perfectly capable of going to pick up 4 simple pieces of glass. An hour later and still no quote has been received but they can quickly question my request. I’ll be taking my business somewhere I won’t be questioned about if I’m sure I want pricing after I already took the time to request it. Not one to leave reviews but I thought this was completely rude and not good business practice.

Called and made an appt for windshield replacement for my van. They were very polite on the phone and came to my home to replace the windshield. Ray arrived on time as scheduled. Very courteous and knowledgeable. Did a great job and highly recommend!!

I always have Absolute Glass repair my windshields. They are professional, timely and friendly...I would not use any other repair service for my car.

I called to have a windshield replaced and was asked if he could call me back. Its been 4 days and still no call. Good thing I had Ace Glass install it 3 days ago. Customer service is key.

Ray and his team did an excellent job installing our shower door. They were efficient, explained every step of the process and the price was very reasonable. He was also really great with our really loud dog.

My work schedule is always hectic. So they came to my job just 2help me out. I was in an accident and insurance cost wouldnt cover it so they worked with me. Great guy. Really helpful. Got me outta a tight fix. Thanks so much.( and theyre dog was friendly too!)

I was not aware they repaired Mirrors until I needed mine done I was arefered too by my friends that are doctors, there I Met Mr Matt and Brian they both were glad to help me, Matt gave me a price on Repairing my mirror, and was very pleased with the price, I explained I suffer from R A and was not able to get my mirror out of the back of my SUV, Matt was glad too help me and Brian had fix my mirror and even replaced the backing on it as a suprize, he TRUELY went out of the way to help me, I knew it would take up to 5 days to get it ready to take home Brian had it fixed within a day and a half good job Brian, I shall be back if I ever need any glass or mirror repaired, office is Located in Lexington SC and Id incourage anyone to please give them a chance to help you out in sure you will be glad you found themAllen DillerLexington SC

Stay away from these crooks. I called for estimate, they came out and measured. Told me $400 to install 28X14 window. I ask how much for just the glass. Was told $124. I said I will just buy the glass. They said they would have to now measure again to be sure and that would cost me another $100. When I challenged that, you have already measured, I was told it would be best if I went somewhere else. I couldnt believe what I was hearing. I figured the owner would want to know what was being said so I ask the persons name I was talking to. This person just kept repeating Have a good day Go somewhere else, Like a child. Who does that in business. My guess is they wanted a $100. for the service call. I live 1 mile from their office and the guy was at my house less than 15 minutes. So that would be $400 an hour. My Doctor doesnt make that. Stay away from these people

Stay away from these people. I called for a quote. They came out and measured. Didnt hear from them for a week. I called them. The quote was for $400 for a 28x14 piece of glass installed. I said how much for just the glass, answer $120. I said ok Ill just take glass. Was told they would have to come out and measure again. This it would cost me $100.00 plus the glass. I said you already measured. Was told they had to make sure. I ask why the first set of measurements werent good. Was told to go some where else. I ask the persons name. Would not give to me. Stay away from these people, if you dont you will be sorry.

Heard my partner Gary talking about Ray and Marianne and the great job they do at Absolute Glass, then I really needed them after my son hit a golf ball that shattered my cars rear windshield! It was so easy--Wally handled all of my insurance claim paperwork (all I had to do was briefly participate in a 3-way call with my insurance company to verify my policy). Brandon drove to my house and did the replacement right there in my garage. He was personable and knowledgeable and went the extra mile for my happiness...he even vacuumed my car and swept the broken glass out of my garage! And Brandon talked about how happy he was to be working with Absolute Glass, and how important it was to the company that they complete every job to the customers satisfaction. It was a great experience! I recommend Absolute Glass wholeheartedly!

I showed up about 10 minutes late and the man that was looking through the folders setting up the schedule had a little bit of attitude and said we will get to you when we can. I let my job site I was going to I was going to be late because with him saying that I wasn’t sure when they were going to get me in. I told him no problem it’s my fault for being late. The tech came out to the front desk and said are you Mr. Johnson? I said yes. He grabbed my paperwork and keys and walked back and got me car in right away. The tech finished my windshield about 50 minutes to an hour I was out of there quickly. So I only gave three stars because of the man when I first walked in had a bet of attitude the rest was about 4 stars.

There was plenty of parking space. Lobby was very attractive. Staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Got all my questions answered by technician about windshield chip and that the staff will help me file an insurance claim over phone, schedule replacement at my home or workplace, and that they use the highest quality replacement auto glass.

5 stars to the actual windshield replacement.First, the technician who came to my home to repair our vehicles windshields was great. He was on time, worked quickly, and had both windshields repaired in about 3 hours.While working on my vehicle, he encountered some difficulties with the windshield wipers when he replaced them. He stated to me these newer cars just need to be recalibrated, removed them, started and restarted the car, and replaced them. He then started working on my husbands vehicle. And nothing else was said. I thought everything was good to go. About an hour or so later, once he said it would be OK to drive the vehicle, I noticed the wiper blades not operating correctly. The driver side would only go up about 3/4 of the way and at the bottom would crash and quiver with the passenger side blade. They would not consecutively go up and down. I even took a video of what happened to show my husband. Later that night, during a rain storm, I was stranded at my work because the driver side blade wouldnt move at all. The passenger side tried moving, but because the driver side was on top, nothing would move.I called the next morning and spoke with Wally. He said he would send the technician back to my house to look at the problem. The same technician from the day before returned to my home and, after checking the blades, said that the motor must be burned up because he couldnt fix it doing what he was able to do.So I took my car to the car dealership to have it looked at. After about an hour, the service representative told me that the drivers side wasnt responding at all. Therefore, my car would have to stay at the dealership over night for them to run a diagnostic test on the computer system to figure out what the problem was. The next morning, I received a call from the dealership, saying the motor was not responding at all and would need to be replaced. I immediately called Absolute Glass to tell them what was going on. The woman who answered the phone knew what was going on before I explained the situation, meaning my name was already flagged as having some problem with the repair. I gave her the story and she wrote it down and said she would let the owner know the updates.2 stars that ended with 3.5 stars in customer service.They offered to pay for half of the repairs upfront and we declined. To make a long story short, after some serious negotiations it was agreed that Absolute Glass would pay the entire repair bill. The glass replacement was very good but the hassle of the wiper motor repair was stressful.

I had a chip in my windshield and I got a call that day, got on schedule ASAP, received a confirmation call and a courtesy call letting me know they were on the way. Best of all, it was done quickly! Owners Ray and Maryanne are awesome people too!

Its convenient that the store was located right down the road from where I work, however they were the only company to answer their phone that day, and Mary the service writer/saleslady was as nice as she could be. The work was clean and the Technician was professional and very friendly. I would recommend that anyone in Lexington use them for all of their glass needs. Thanks again Absolute glass, you have another loyal customer!

I get all my glass work done at Absolute Glass Inc in Lexington, SC. They always do an awesome job whether it be replacing my windshield or cutting custom glass for my bakers rack. Mary and Ray are great people and I refer all my friends and family to them, never heard any complaints!

I called this morning to check on a piece of glass that I needed cut and Brian is going above and beyond to cut my glass as I need to replace this piece before going out of town this weekend ! Great customer service and people that care about the customer !

I would not recommend Absolute Glass to anyone as their work ethics and business ethics are not up to my standards. I had them replace glass in my 2017 Subaru and they broke trim clips removing the glass. If I had not been out there the technician would have not mentioned it. When I pointed it out to him he was angry and called his manager and complained about me watch him work then put the manager on the phone with me. I explained that he broke a clip and the manager blew it off, so I asked him if they were going to replace it since they broke it and he said that they would. I never heard from them again. I understand things break when working on them and stuff happens; however, it is how you handle these situations that matter. Handle them with integrity and taking ownership is the correct way, but that is not what they did. They ignored me and moved on to the next job. Not happy!

Ray and Maryanne run an awesome business. My windshield had a small crack in it from my hours of travel. Ray met me at Paneras Bread company and replaced my windshield for me within an hour. Mary Anne took care of my claim with Allstate insurance and I had to do nothing. I would recommend these guys to all my family, friends and clients. I plan to have them quote glass work for my home in the near future.

This place is absolute bull crap!!!! I called and made an appointment (which I was referred by my Honda dealer). On the day of the appointment I called back to get an ETA at which point I was told there was no record of me ever calling, they did NOT have my appointment nor quote and did NOT do anything to rectify the problem. As I had plans to go out of state for the weekend. I dont usually write reviews but they deserve to be put on blast for this nonsense!! Extremely upset!

Amazing service! I feel that I must explain the 3 week disaster we dealt with to truly convey how AMAZING Ray and Absolute Glass were. We initially sent our car to Safelite (since that’s who our insurance company refers their customers to). Safelite kept our car for 3 weeks! They ordered 4 pieces of glass, only to call us each time and say the glass couldn’t quite fit our car. After 3 weeks they gave us an insanely expensive quote to order a different piece of glass (we were paying out of pocket). Exasperated, we almost agreed just to be done with the mess. But we called Ray at Absolute Glass for a 2nd opinion and I am SO GLAD we did. He showed up at our house at 8 a.m. on the dot and replaced our glass in barely over 30 minutes. Now here’s the kicker. Absolute glass bought their glass from Safelite!!!! So Ray was able to fix our window in 30 minutes with the very same glass that Safelite incompetently couldn’t install for 3 weeks. I will only use Absolute Glass for future windows. Ray really turned this drawn out disaster around for us. Thank you!!
