She takes as much time at the end (even after 6 hour of single small baifing) as she does at the beginning. When I want my hair braided, I come to her for last few years! I think Patience does great work. Just needs to establish an efficient scheduling system. I call and text for six weeks trying to schedule (sometimes a month in advance), but there is no response.So, we had to find new person to do our hair.

Most amazing braids Ive ever gotten and for a really good price. They stayed until almost midnight dedicated to finishing my hair even though they had been braiding all day and it still only took a few hours for a lot of very small and long braids. Other people have taken 8-12+ to do the work they did in one night and were nowhere nearly as good. They also have a huge selection of hair types and colors.Worth all the time and definitely worth the money. I am now a permanent customer only after my first time and I live in Boulder.These girls are amazing and very nice even when they are dead tired. True artists!Also played great action movies the whole time so I was never bored.

Patient is AMAZING! My daughter has more hair than anyone knows what to do with... seriously... She dove in and knew exactly what to do. She was great with my daughter who has a tender head and taught me how to take care of her braids. My daughter is so happy. When we came in for our first appointment it was because we went to another salon and when they saw my daughters hair they had no idea what to do with it (she has that much hair) and they turned us away(after sending pictures and talking to them about her hair before even making the appointment). I called Patient in a panic (my daughter was in tears and so hurt by what had happened).Patient stayed until 1am doing my daughters hair (it took 10 hours!!!)! She went WAY above and beyond anything I could ever ask anyone to do. We will be a life time customer!

Patience is always so friendly. She does my hair in 3 hours or less, the prices are never a suprise, and what she quotes me for is what I pay. Today was my third time visiting Genuine African Braiding. The first time was 2 weeks ago to get a consultation. The second visit was to have a few braids re-braided that was done by another braider. Today I went in to have my old braids removed and to get new braids. I couldn’t be happier with Patient’s quality of work.She is kind, caring, friendly, professional and a great conversationalist as well. She had episodes of CSI Miami running in the back-ground so I think that I got hooked on watching that as well.I have had my hair braided by others, but Patient’s work is the best by far. As I was sitting there a gentleman and his daughter drove from Longmont to have her hair braided.
