We had a very complicated move, moving 2 households north about an hour-an hour and a half away. The movers were friendly, efficient, and precise. The were very conscience of the frailty of some of the furniture as it includes family heirlooms from decades past. I truly appreciate that Gault was understanding and able to help us move quickly and effortlessly. They also came under budget.

My move from Denver to Pueblo was a two day event. From the time my 5 man crew showed up till the time they finished was an impressive show of professionalism. They took the time to wrap each and every item. They worked together as a unified machine. My crew chief was Chris. His coordination skills are unmatched. He gave equal time to both me and his team and kept things moving at a vigorous pace. Called because I got a few flyers in the mail. I spoke to Mike when I called to get details on Galt as well as an over-the-phone estimate. Several times during the course of our call Mike interrupted me to put me on hold. He also put his hand over the phone while I was talking and I could hear him talking to someone else. It was clear I was not his priority and that didn’t make me feel all warm and fuzzy about potential spending thousands of dollars with this company. Further, at the end of the call, Mike said he’d work up an estimate and call me back in a few minutes to go over it with me. That was 2 days ago and I never got a call back nor have I been sent the estimate. I won’t be doing business with this company ever nor will I recommend that anyone I know do business with this company. The moving business is WAY too competitive and I lost all confidence in Galt’s ability to do what they say they will do. There are literally hundreds of local companies eager to earn my business and Galt came up woefully short.

Our move last week with Galt went great. Our team Christian, Miguel, and Jimmy were so friendly and took great care of our items including an antique dresser. They hustled and were always willing to do whatever they could to make my life easier during the move.

We needed to have our stuff moved out of an apartment and put into our own moving truck. Galt was able to schedule moves on fairly short notice. The pricing was reasonable, the communication was excellent, and the movers were very professional and safe with our things. They were so efficient in packing our truck that it turned out we rented a truck that was far too large for the job. For anyone moving in metro Denver, Id highly recommend Galt.

Straight forward pricing with no surprise charges. The crew was hard-working and did a great job.

Our experience was unprofessional movers, damaged furniture, damaged walls, and poor customer service. Unfortunately we did not purchase the extra insurance because we thought their movers would pack and handle our furniture with care, but that was not the case. Several pieces were deeply scratched because they stacked them on one another with only thin shrink wrap rather than a padded moving blanket. At the end of the day we pointed out the damage to the furniture, the walls and trim to the head mover and he actually had the nerve to ask for a gratuity for him and his crew. Also some of the boxes that we unpacked a few weeks after the move we noticed were damaged as if dropped and items inside broken.Tried working out an agreement with the owner for the damaged pieces but because we hadnt purchased the extra coverage we received a small amount which absolutely was not enough to repair the damage. This review is coming many months after the move because of the manner in which the owner responded to the issues was rather combative and uncomfortable.

Pricing was more reasonable than I would have expected based on a prior cross-country move. We recently used Galt moving for our local move and we were very impressed from start to finish! Their customer service is fantastic, they really do go above and beyond. The woman I spoke with when I initially called to get a quote was so nice and friendly, and helped me with every thing I needed to schedule the move. The movers were on time and did a fantastic job moving all of our stuff. They were very professional and polite. The move took longer than expected, thus costing more than the initial, quote, but it was totally MY ERROR. I underestimated how much stuff we had to move in our basement and crawl space, so it was not their fault at at all. There was only one damaged item in the whole move and it was a mirror in a wood frame. I called to find out how to file a claim and I was expecting that they would say sorry, we dont cover mirrors. But I was so wrong, they were awesome! They had me drop off the frame at a custom glass shop and they paid to have a mirror custom cut and installed at no charge to me. It was ready in 2 days and looked perfect ! I was so impressed and couldnt believe they did that. I would highly recommend Galt Moving and give them 5 stars!!!

New to Colorado and having moved from the East Coast over a year ago, I was not looking forward to another major move, even though it was to be just around the corner. Galt moving did a fabulous job in easing my mind; from the prompt responsiveness, flexibility in changing dates, punctuality and the care taken in transporting my my belongings. I called Mike at the last minute to see if I could get a move that same Saturday. He said that they were booked, but he would be able to get me in on Sunday. Galt Moving has moved my family several times and many of my real estate clients as well. Each time it was an efficient and on-time move. Recently my daughter had to move suddenly and Mike at Galt figured out a way to get her moved out and her belongings moved into a storage facility. They are great partners and our go-to moving company for my clients.

The price was reasonable. I went to them because a friend said her family always uses them. I had to cancel one time the day before and it was no problem. When I did need movers several days later, they came when promised and did a fantastic job. Three men did everything we asked of them. They were very polite and fast.
