I recently moved to a new house and I purchased all my furniture, bedroom and decorative pieces from Safavieh Livingston.The manager, Darioush Saadati, helped me a lot during my ordering process. They delivered them with a little delay and defected dining glass table, but they replaced it a few days. At the end Im happy for every piece that I ordered. The showroom is an adult candy land, so many gems. Walk with your pocketbook and measurements. While the prices are not for the faint of heart there are many affordable pieces that would turn your decor up a notch.The staff was friendly, attentive and made us feel right at home.

He works at the NY and Livingston store and makes the entire experience for me as an interior designer purchasing from the store, a much more manageable and enjoyable one!The delivery team is good and if I ever have an issue with any of the furniture delivered, it is resolved rather promptly.

I love Safavieh. They have a ton of vendors all in one location. It is easy to pull together a super custom look with the variety of vendor options and fabric options. You can do everything in the store from beginning to end. Also, there are options in all price ranges so you dont have to spend more then you wanted to. Panfilo is an excellent salesperson. He works hard and helps when needed without being overbearing. He never pressures you into a sale and is great when you are ready to place an order. If there is anything that goes wrong, he does everything to make it right. I highly recommend Safavieh to anyone who is looking to furnish their home.

Excellent experience @ Safavieh!!! After months of searching the big box stores for a dining room table we found the custom quality and service we were missing. We sat with Margo and diagrammed our space and discussed our style. Margo custom designed a table for us to perfectly match the space. We are thrilled with the result and have received numerous compliments on the table. We have referred our friends and family to Margo and Safavieh and expanded our custom Safavieh experience to our sitting room. So excited to receive the rug, coffee table and buffet Margo custom designed for us!

I absolutely recommend Safavieh Home Furnishings in Livingston, NJ. However, it really is all about the salesperson/decorator that you work with. Without Suzanne’s help, dedication and talent, I could not have furnished my home. Suzanne’s confidence is so empowering! She did a floor plan for me and helped with fabrics, colors and style. We could not be happier with our choices.

Jeffrey Brooks, our designer/sales rep, helped us to find all the perfect pieces we were looking for-beyond our expectations ‼️We are grateful to have had him coordinate and suggest unique pieces that we never would have chosen (took us surprisingly out of our boxes). Our experience with Safavieh was fairly bad. We ordered 2 pieces of childrens furniture April 1st with the help of our salesman Dwayne. After that, everything was horrible. The furniture was due mid-June, but somehow didnt arrive until mid-July due to transit issues. Delivery was scheduled multiple times, as their system would apparently forget deliveries. If they dont call you the night before, call them, as it means you arent scheduled/something got lost. Then the actual furniture that was delivered had drawers that didnt work and a large scratch. While the delivery people promised to ensure a customer service follow-up to have a tech visit, no such thing happened. After calling myself, the tech is coming 3 weeks later. By this point, my wife and I are tired of dealing with Safavieh.

Very high end furniture.My wife and I bought a $2900 console table from Safavieh in Livingston, NJ. We were told we were getting a brand new piece and waited 6 weeks for delivery. The piece delivered was a marked up floor sample. We were originally given $250 back from the store.After posting a harsh review, the regional manager raised the adjusted cash back to 20% off the price consistent with usual floor sample pricing and waived the white glove delivery fee as I would have picked up a floor sample with my own truck had I been made aware of what I was getting.I give them the benefit of the doubt that this was a one off moment but would be careful to inspect all deliveries thoroughly and contact the delivery service if you have questions about the condition of your item.Ultimately they did the right thing after I escalated the matter.The regional manager Sam was very quick to rectify the situation once it was brought to his attention. I wish the store had handled this appropriately to begin with.

I have never done this before but am posting this review of a very bad experience last Saturday that is still upsetting me. They had an advertised floor price for a sofa, wrote me an invoice about two weeks prior, I even called the salesperson a few days before I came in on Saturday to confirm the price of the sofa and for what color choices, Then Saturday as she was about to process the order, Im told the price is wrong as we both stare at the ticket on the sofa on their floor model and because its fair trade they cant honor the price in that color choice. Whoops...so sorry.The one you want would now be $1,000 more because that special is gone and we forgot to update the floor ticket.I requested to speak to the store manager. The store manager cant come out to talk with you but I can show you the email we got from the sofa dealer that notified us of the price change awhile ago, but we just didnt change it on the floor, I hate when this happens. You have to understand our position since we would have to eat the entire cost difference and my manager spoke to our regional manager and we just cant do that.i fully expected them to just honor THEIR advertised and repeatedly reconfirmed price. Instead, my family chose another color combo in the advertised special price and got a whooping free delivery and a free cleaning kit. They wouldnt even give a free warranty, just a leather cleaning kit. I even asked if theres anything thats not fair trade thar you can give me a discount on to make up for what feels like a bait and switch of some sort, I even pointed to a chair that was already marked down once..nothing.I pray the delivery goes smoothly.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Deborah Candice at the Livingston Safavieh store. Deborah spent a lot of time with me and my husband to understand how my family lived and how we intended to use the rooms she was decorating. She visited our home on several occasions to better understand our taste and design preferences. Then she went to work and offered us many design options and layouts. My husband and I were thrilled with her suggestions and she was always open and eager to tweek designs at our suggestion. We couldnt be happier with the unique and warm rooms she created and cannot wait to spend time with our family and friends in these new spaces.

Seems good at first - like others say. We dealt with Trude Casper.Nice, as nice as one can be with children running around. Advised a Canadel dining set.We went for it. Paid significantly more for a butcher top (thicker top finish). After long time table arrives. Agreed, no one follows up. You have to do it yourself. Table arrives incomplete. One would expect some quality. Then we find out that the extra payment for the butcher block was only for the edges of the table top so from the outside it looks like a butcher block but its not consistently executed throughout the whole top. The top which is by the way a bunch of glued board, if you look from the bottom even uneven. I have pictures to show the quality if anyone is interested. Horrible customer service. Youre being laughed at.

My wife and I came to the store based on recommendation from our friend.Met with Margo who was extremely helpful and professional.She understood right away what we were looking for and just steered us in the right direction.The whole experience was just outstanding.

I went into Safavieh on a recommendation from my daughter who lives in the area. What a gorgeous showroom. Love it! I was directed by receptionist to the rug department and met Ashkan who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He helped me to narrow down my choices at what could have been an overwhelming experience ( so many gorgeous rugs! ). He even suggested that I bring the rug I selected home to try it out. I highly recommend this store! You wont be disappointed!

We came to Safavieh today looking for a new sopha and other furnishings for our living room. We meet one of the designers, Deborah, who immediately listened to our needs and style preferences. After less than an hour, Deborah was at our home, measuring our room and suggesting fabrics to go with our current decor. Not only did she help us find the exact style for our needs and taste, she worked quickly and found us the pieces that will work perfectly with our home. Thanks Deborah and Safavieh. We cant wait until April to get all our new furnishings.

We made our first furniture order from Safavieh in Livingston in November 2017. it was supposed to be delivered to our new home mid-january. We never received any communication or updates and I had to call them to get the status. They made calls and told me that now its back ordered and wont be delivered to us until the end of February or March. I needed the furniture and expected delivery at the same time as much of my other furniture and they didnt deliver. The worst part was their follow up customer service by not providing any updates or communications regarding the significant delay in the order. Rating them poor on customer service and reliability.

We have visited the Livingston Safavieh store and worked with Deborah Candiecy. It has been a very pleasant experience from every point of view. The store has very interesting furniture and is always displaying new things. Deborah knows her inventory and is very familiar with all of the manufacturers. She listens to the customer and helps them find just what they want.

I was recommended to Safavieh by a former client of mine for updating my own personal house. I met Margo there by chance and shes been extremely helpful and has a great sense of style and color. She also came to my home and worked with me on designs and her imput was terrific.I would recommend her anytime.

Wow, Incredible, Awesome is the only way that I can describe my experience with Margo! She is a absolutely, The Best. I have worked with Interior Designers in the past and none of them partnered with me like Margo. Margo listened to me she visited my home and took the time to understand MY style and vision not hers. She Margolized my home with furniture, accessories and pillows from the store and within hours the house was transformed, I love it!! I smile everytime I walk in the door because it really looks Great. I cant wait to do more business with her in the future.

The most extensive selection of high end furniture Ive ever experienced.

A warning to other Interior Designers about purchasing from Safavieh- DONT. I ordered a piece for a client which required a delivery by Christmas. The store I worked with in Livingston, NJ (salesman Larry and office manager Christle) claimed to have the order in in early October, before the holiday deadline from Lee. The estimated delivery time came and went and it took at least 5 attempts to get anyone to even return a call or email. I was told the week of Christmas that the chair would not even leave North Carolina until January. My client was incensed, as was I. There was zero attempt to rectify this or even apologize. And now it is the 2nd week of January and I cannot even get a response about whether the chair has shipped yet. I will never use Safavieh again, which is a shame because seemed like a good resource.

I walked into Safavieh in Livingston looking to buy a new sofa for my family room about a year ago. I was extremely fortunate to meet designer Margo Raby on that day. Margo was amazing from the moment I walked into the store. She listened to all my concerns, got an understanding for my style and quickly understood that I was looking for a specific type of couch. Within a short period of time I had found the perfect couch and Margo helped me select gorgeous fabrics for the couch and pillows. Since Margo has such an incredible sense for decorating I trusted her to make over the first floor of my home. The window treatments that Safavieh made for my family room, living room and dining room are absolutely stunning. Again, Margo picked out the most gorgeous and perfect fabrics that I fell in love with as soon as I saw them. She also helped me to choose paint colors, new rugs, tables and accessories. When I walk into my home now it feels complete and it’s gorgeous! I would highly recommend visiting Safavieh and working with Margo Raby.

Great furniture store, and an upstairs area where they have reduce price items at very attractive prices. Safavieh has their own lines, as well as carrying the products of many well known makers.

I wasnt the right person for this store I guess. I loved a piece but its still there and I will never bother them again shades of 1959

I bought a jewelry armoire from them and the first 2 are damaged due to poor packaging. This is a beautiful armoire but either poorly made or poorly packaged. Im not thrilled with them at all.

Love every piece I have from Safavieh!

I have to admit, my house is all Safavieh furnitures. I have gone through a lot of furniture stores, and Safavieh seems to match my style and personality the most. We went through one of their interior decorator - Margo who I thought was the best fit for my style and liking of style. She gets me...she sees my vision and puts it in to reality. Very happy so far of all my furnitures.A few things though...they will mention it will take a X amount of time to have your furnitures delivered, but expect it to be delivered a lot laterrrrrr than expected....I first went to the store in Paramus before going to Livingston, and their sales people and one of their interior decorator was very aggressive. The interior decorator thought so highly of herself and arrogant. i wouldnt want to work with someone like that. picking your interior decorator has to be a careful process because you will be dealing with them, and trust them picking out your expensive furnitures.
