I ask everyone to please stay away from this place they charged me 491$ to inspect my camper my normal rv place charges 150 for the same thing of course the is gonna come back and say Im a.lier and make excuses like he does to every one else people use demontrond rv in conroe they wont rip you off

We bought our first RV/Camper here and it couldnt have gone much better. Jimmy and his wife were very nice to work with, they took a lot of time to explain what all it entails and they were very patient with our questions. When we went to pick it up, we were given a full explanation of all the features and got to ask as many questions as needed. Very low-to-no pressure sales and genuinely nice folks.

Always have everything I need and everything I love to decorate with.

They have great brands of sports gear and the right advice on what to do with it. Did you know that the bare to use for catfish is chicken breasts, cubed and soaked in fruit punch koolaid. Who knew, well they did, and it didnt cost me any thing. Will let you know how it works because the bait is in the fridge ready to go. Got work to do before I can try it out. Wish me luck!

Bought my 2021 excel f4 viper from Acres Outdoors and from the moment we got there they were rude except for Chad. But it was the right boat I wanted so I went ahead and purchased it from them. Last weekend my propeller fell off in the lake. Due to them not putting the correct parts on the propeller when I called them about it Mr. Jimmy Akers said that it was my fault that I must have hit something to make the prop come off. And if that was true all the splines and threads would be mangled but they are perfectly fine. Just posting this so everybody will know not to go back to acres outdoors in Livingston tx!

THREE people who have witnessed us not “rip the propeller off” which actually fell off from y’all’s mistake. Four of us walked up wearing our face coverings for covid and the owner refused to let us in to shop! We had come to look at the RVs for our friends to buy. He said it was his policy to decide for customers not to protect themselves. He also mentioned the fear of getting robbed from people wearing masks! I have to wear a mask in a bank! We argued about Wal-Mart and other outdoor chains that sell guns require masks for shoppers and when I warned him about getting Covid, he said F#/-you and cussed us out. Which is apparently his M.O. when dealing with folks who want to wear masks in his store. We werent the only ones if you read more reviews. Now I know why there was no one in the place. Never going back, even when covid is under control.

Acres Outdoors repaired our travel trailer that was damaged by a storm and they did an awesome job. They worked with our insurance company to make sure all of the work could be accomplished in a timely manner. There was a lot of damage but its as good as new now. The store is very nice with necessities for travel trailers and camping also so many really cute items. Thank you Acres Outdoors for turning a stressful situation into a stress free one.

My 68 year old father came into your store this morning to purchase parts for their RV. He was wearing a mask even though he hates it because he is high risk for COVID. He was told masks were not allowed in the store and so he responded he would have to shop elsewhere. The salesperson/owner proceeded to cuss him up one side and down the other. Called him a dirty bi!@% among other things. All of this in front of an 11 year old little girl. My parents have purchased things here in the past but will not be returning. BTW, my father is just as much a Trump supporter as you so I hope you werent assuming he wore the mask in support of Biden.

The people were very friendly and informed about their products. Their store carries a lot of camping items and is well taken care of. Overall our experience was very good.

We recently bought a pop-up camper from Acres Outdoors. Tish was our salesperson, and she was great! She was very patient with us and answered all of our questions over the phone/email. When we visited the lot to look at the camper, she went through everything with us very thoroughly and with no pressure. When we went back a week later to pick it up, Acres had gone through and detailed everything on the camper to get it ready for us. Once again, we did a thorough walk-through and Tish made sure all of my questions were answered before I drove away with it. In summary, Acres Outdoors was a great place to purchase a camper/RV!

Terrible customer service i called to inform them our hot water heater had quit working a month after buying the camper and was basically told it wasn’t their problem then I called to tell them our heater was not working and they told me once again not their issue and was very rude i will not recommend anybody to purchase from here! Let me add when we bought the camper they were amazing but when we got home we parked the camper only to realize they left our heater on in the camper when we left and our propane. If somebody would help I would change my review but until then I will not!

I got in a little bind when I came to Lake Livingston for a Thanksgiving family reunion. Had a few parts on my camper that broke that I didnt find before making the trip. Acres RV and Outdoors had all I needed and more. Really nice people working there too! Yall stop on by and see them!!

We just bought our new camper here. Ours was totaled in hurricane Harvey. We drove almost 2 hours to look at Acres RV. We were greeted by Trish who asked what we were looking for. She was amazung! She showed us what they had on the lot in the price range we were looking for. She never pressured us to look at anything above what we were asking for. She made the whole buying process smooth and painless. We highly recommend this place. Even if you have to make a long drive. It is well worth! We will continue the drive and our business here.

I traveled 400 miles to find the right trailer at the right price. Excellent inventory, excellent customer service, very Military friendly! When I would call in to ask questions, they always knew who I was and my particular circumstances and were prepared to help, regardless of who happened to answer the phone.

I had to special order my RV due to its popularity (side air conditioner). My heart sank when they told me that Viking no longer made the model I wanted with a side air conditioner, but they were able to convince Viking to produce a few more! When the RV came in, the upholstery on the seat cushions and window cornices was not to my liking, so Tish and the staff went out of their way to change the upholstery fabric to my liking. They also changed the dining table for me! I truly appreciate everything they did to make sure I was happy. I certainly didnt make it easy for them. They were very kind, helpful and gracious. Im glad I listened to my friend and bought my RV from Acres!

Needed a part for rv toilet that busted during the freeze. The staff knew what part I needed and they had it in stock. Looking around the store looked like they carry a good variety of parts. I own an rv so I know it wont be long till Im back here.

Awful customer service!!! This is the closest warranty work RV place and when I called to ask about warranty work the guy was extremely RUDE! He told me that I had to go back to dealership, which is not true because I called Starcraft again and they said this place is an authorized place to do warranty work. When I told the guy that was not true, he got very short with me and told me it would be 6 months before he could do anything. I would not recommend this place to anyone!!! I called Starcraft back and they apologized to me and said this place was a warranty dealership. They are trying to find another option for me.UPDATE after response from store:It is evident that every person who rates your awful, you have some smart remark back to them. I stand by what I say and after dealing with you and your remarks back, I completely agree with every person who rated you low. Would not surprise me that you have people you know rating you as high as they do. After speaking to the guy on the phone, there is no way you all are as nice as everyone states you are.

I was looking for more high end RVs and I knew more about RVs than the Salesman, although I guess we all have to start learning somewhere. I must admit I like the way that Acres Outdoors are heading, they really are marketing everything for Outdoors a very brave move in Livingston, Ill support you whenever I am able.

My husband purchased a water pump from RV Acres and at the time was not told this product could never be returned. At the time of purchase he had no intention of returning the item. When he got home and I saw the price of the unit I immediately felt it was high as we had purchased a pump in the past from another dealer and I did not recall them being that high. I compared the prices on Amazon and found more than twenty for less than $100.00. We were charged $149.99 plus tax at RV Acres. I decided to return the item 3 days later after the weekend. The item was never removed from the box and still originally packaged. I was approached by a man from the back and he immediately without an introduction began to tell me I could not return the item. I asked why not as I just purchased it and it was not even opened and I had the receipt in my hand. He rudely told me because it was electrical and if I read my receipt it said that. I was appalled at his frankness and wondered how many people actually read their receipts after the fact. I also wondered what it would matter as you dont receive the receipt until after the point of sale at which point you can no longer return the unopened, unused, overpriced item. I once again responded as Are you really telling me I cant be helped? He asked why I wanted to return the item and I said because it was overpriced and on amazon for fifty dollars less. He shrugged his shoulders as if oh well. I picked up my item and left appalled and angry. I will not return to this store. This was the third purchase I had made and every time I was previously in, I felt as if they had no desire to help me as the man behind the counter sat on his stool and basically acted as if it was a bother to assist me in finding a part.I never write reviews but felt others should be aware of the customer service we received.

If youre looking for a toy hauler 5th wheel dont waste your time at this place because even though they advertise them on their website they dont carry them. I stopped at this place and told the lady working what I was looking for and instead of telling us they dont have any or sell them, she had us wait a good 10 minutes or so for another lady just to say they dont carry them.Update: My husband and I were at this place today and everything I stated in my prior post is true!...Seems to be true also that the owner replying to these Google reviews cant handle a negative review like many have stated throughout there reviews! Also, the owner has harrassed my husband via Facebook messenger since we have posted our negative experience at Acres Outdoors!!!This so called owner of acres outdoors is pathetic the purpose of this review is to let others know how our bad experience was with this business and instead of taking constructive criticism, he continues to be disrespectful and lash out the to many bad reviews on his store whether its by me or if you look many others have gave bad reviews due to there negative experience also and yet again he bashes them also!....looks like the BBB needs to be notified of the harrassment!

This was my worst experience with any business ever of any kind.To be honest and up front here, I totally lost my cool with this place and its owner. I let the guy get under my skin which I am really sorry for.However, I endured several days of this guys condescending attitude toward me as a customer, very costly service, and leaving with more problems than I came in with. All of us Escapees people are the same was a comment I received after I lost it with this guy. Livingston TX is home to Escapees and this place is in the RV business so Escapees people should be his people.I feel their service is not worth the $$$$ they charge. That is my opinion and it comes from having service work performed all over the country.Bottom line: I would not recommend anyone having service done here.

Went in on Tuesday to buy some vent screens to keep mud daubers out. Had to park my RV on the side of the road because of the tiny parking lot. Inside there was a fairly good selection of RV products to pick from but when I borrowed a tape measure to see which screen I needed a clerk came over and took it away . Then the clerk that let me have the tape measure came over and yanked the screens out of my hand and with a mean tone said Ill hold these at the desk . So from here on out I will drive the extra distance to the other RV parts store in Polk Co. rather then put up with such rudeness. But maybe I just caught them on a bad day. The owner did call after this was first posted and asked me to give them a second chance .

I needed a crucial accessory for my RV and the store was closed. I used the messaging option on the Google page and received a message back from the store owners. They met me a few hours later at the store with the item I needed. I’m going back to the store during regular hours! You don’t find customer service like this just anywhere.

This place is a very professional looking store with professional looking people. But dont let that fool you. The store is very efficient with fair prices. However, the service department does not stand behind their work or what they break while simply changing a part. You pay for the service call then the second call to install a shroud under warranty and wham your brand new Dometic AC throws an error code and its just a coincident that the AC ran before but not immediately afterwards? But now he will be happy to come out and check it out for a measly $100.00. No, hmmm, what could have happened just a talking down to acting as if I didnt know squat about anything.Yep, Jimmy you got your frigging money but here and every forum I post on gets told this story in a factual manner. I should have listened when I was warned but other Escapees.
