I love Kings they always have great options for dinner for me and make it easy to get something quickly that isnt fast food. I have choices of ready to eat meals- quick and easy dinners- or ingredients to prep my own choice for the day.
Expensive but the food they sell is always fresh and delicious. Hot soups, cold fresh produce and much more here. Very clean and pleasant staff especially my fellow lady aquarius who helped us check out last week! A wide variety of products from special cheeses to fresh produce, vegan options, and more.. it is expensive but worth it if thats what you are looking for
Great experience. My favorite store!!
Clean grocery store with some special items but the prices are outrageous for the similar things youd find at a ShopRite.
Good selection of fresh produce from the farmlands, decent prices and a large variety of cheeses. Situated in a very central location, allot of parking.
Best old fashioned hot cross buns. My dowfall
Great place to shopUnusual items on the same upper level.of excellent and good service as bothWhole Foods andWegmans
No longer sells wine or liquor
Great place albeit a little on expensive side. Usually go to shoprite down the road for items but for quick stops Kings is best. Like their potato salad and sushis as well.
Manager at the Livingston one came to yelled at me saying that I cant walk away with from my cart. And they are constantly watching you on their cameras. Once you do something they will gladly yell it over the announcement speaker.
Hopped into Kings to pick up a few items for my Uncle. Although I am not a regular Kings shopper, (there are none close by to where I live...) I found this store Easy to maneuver, and the employees were Helpful & Professional! Produce guy pointed out the loose Red Bliss Potatoes, and another guy gave me the Isle numbers of two Items that were added to my list...Both were correct, so I appreciated his help! Nice, clean, well stocked store. Plus, my friendly cashier bagged my groceries & was very nice as well! 🙋👍😊
Generally my experience in this store is positive. Friendly management, friendly workers, clean store, fresh food. However, I continually have problems with the Sushi station. I always ask for them to make me special rolls. They generally are not responsible and refuse despite management telling me they need to do what is asked. They close up at 5:00pm which is when most are coming in to purchase dinner. That makes no sense to me.
Always feel safe. Always helpful people
RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE! A half a canteloupe in slicles, was $7- . Almost any shelve staple here is double the price of any other grocery store. Vacumn packed chicken, was 27.- for three breasts. Picked it up elsewhere for $9.-. Sale items are okay. For a quick few items it will do but every time I shop for a couple of days meals I spent over $250.-. It would be half the price elsewhere. Store is clean and the staff is pleasant.
Fresh produce....quick trip and not crowded #covid-19.
Kings has been the whole foods of Livingston decades before theres Whole Foods. And while other supermarkets have closed, Kings got bigger. Love its central, easy to walk to location and quality items. A bit pricier, but still cheaper than whole paycheck. Going to Shop Rite is stressful. Going to Kings, a pleasure.
Best supermarket during pandemic. A pleasure to shop there!
Clean store. Typical only 2 cash registers open. Prices higher than shop rite. Good selection means and fish better than shop rite. Get what you paid for. Strawberries last longer.
Dont find any thing special compared to other better prices and quality establishments.
No lines. Always organized and well stocked.
Great sized store, easy to shop, lots of health food options, could use more soy/tofu products for vegan/vegetarian/religious people but overall this is my favorite grocery store in the area.Staff is nice, store is always super clean, produce is fresh, could stand to add some more organics but they always have a nice variety.Sushi and pizza, as well as hot and cold salad bar.
This is the best supermarket around. The workers are so helpful and nice. Prices are reasonable. The selection is broad.
Lovely store. I just stopped in for two items...only two check out lanes. One had two people with carts overflowing, other had about a dozen people with about 6-8 items. Someone came said he was opening aisle 3,at least three of us thought so because we all moved there...but no :(. Too much time to get two items.
Upscale supermarket, its smaller size and selection also make it less crowded than busier stores so it can be good for a quick purchase without waiting. Nice deli counter, fresh produce and hot-and-cold salad bar, and tables for eat-in customers. Staff is very helpful.
Great store with nice employees. Produce is always fresher however on the pricier end. Deli and ready to go food is top notch. Fairly pricey products though.
A bit pricey, but their prepared food section is the best. They also just put in a super convenient wine shop. Ask for Norm, he always has a great wine choice to go with dinner.
Always well stocked & the employees are helpful.
Would like to have plastic free option for salads and other stuff and be able to buy food in my own jars.
Like Whole Foods but with a local store feel. Big but not so big that you feel overwhelmed when you are in the store. Great quality and everything here is clean and maintained well. Staff is also friendly. The meat dept is not very extensive but surprised to find wagyu/Kobe beef patties. Took off one star for this since it wouldve been great to have found a good working butcher. If they did have one, he must have been hiding cause I couldnt find anyone when I was there. Wouldve like to find some prime grade meats here. Besides the comfortable shopping atmosphere, the made to order pizza is a great excuse for us to drop by here. It keeps us coming back to this place and enables us to find other nice surprises when we come. Like $1.99 noosa yogurt when it is on sale. They also have a great deli, which I find is a must for any store in this area.
This place is only for the rich. The prices are outrageous. The checkout lines suck and take for ever. The folks that go here don’t know how to park. Shoprite is 5 minutes away. I’m surprised this place is still in business. I’ve stopped shopping here because it is hard on the wallet. It is more expensive than whole foods! The selection isn’t all that great.
Great place to shop. Clean, beautiful produce, nice people, sometimes lines are longer than I would prefer but not bad.
Its always the same ol thing. They dont offer much at their hot food bar. There is a pizza station for those of us with the awareness not to consume dairy there really isnt much to choose from
This store will be closing very soon
I shop here in a pinch or when I need a specialty item not found elsewhere. It seems very quiet, with not many shoppers. Prices seem high and the produce is not always so fresh.
The chicken cutlets are perfect; cooked properly, and a nice chicken breast that is not pulverized. Everything else is excellent as well.
The deli workers need to learn how to acknowledge their customers. Also, the only 1% milk half gallons they had expires in three days.
The workers are so helpful and nice. Prices are reasonable. The selection is broad.
Very nice store. A bit smaller than the others but good selection of high quality products.
Easy to shop and employees are willing to help
Most of the employees are very helpful, particularly the woman who runs the bakery. This is a refreshing alternative to the big stores with ill- mannered employees.
My first time in that store great selection fresh food prices are as expected I guess similar to Wegmans if theres one of those in your area.
Rude customer service rep. Fruit was really good. Ling check out line.
Nice stuff but overpriced as an everyday grocery store. Prepared foods are definitely step up from ShopRite.
Some decent options here. Available bread quality leaves a lot to be desired though. Weird when Id rather go to shoprite for bread.
Your website is horrible! After I spent over an hour placing my order, it took me to a different geographic area! Instacart owns you!
Nice and quiet place. Pricetags are slightly higher than places like Target.
Great produce and fantastic qualitypricey on basics
I stopped at Kings on my way home from the mall. I wanted 1 thing -- savoy cabbage. they didnt have it. I settled for regular cabbage ..wasnt happy.. and paid top dollar. ..99$ a lb. 1 regular sized CABBAGE cost $4.20.
Crispy and edible
Naa in bakery is great help out in anyway she can wish was there now. ever since she left bakery seem to never have thing stocked.
Small store but good varieties of Stonewall kitchen products..
Would shop here if it were not so very expensive
The staff is very helpful, the soup they serve is good although they run out very quickly, not long of a wait on a line at all
Great, but somewhat smaller high end groc ery store.
HeyGreat
Some items pricey god quality local products. Fish selection not as good as ShortHills
Nice supermarket, you can get Calandra bread here.
Clean great customer service
Manageable sized supermarket. They do a good job, but are frequently slow at restocking the shelves.
Very nice cakes for all occasions, a bit expensive than ShopRite; fresh veggies
Expensive prices on products easily found at ShopRite not far in distance.
I find shopping At King market a good experienceNgng
Somewhere between a ShopRite and aTrader joe
Overpriced. its a supermarket, shouldnt be so much
The bathroom is very clean
Nice local business, part of a small chain
Clean and bright, the updated Kings is a delight to shop in.
Good but pricey
Great place for gourmet foods
Love working at kings
Horrible experience. The employees dont care and the price of everything is double.
Nice market
Great produce and international variety
Nice place to purchase food!
Very few organic vegetables and limited variety. Prices are high.
Small town food market, very fresh, might be pricey but it’s worth it. Very clean store
Good food items
Great food with great prices
Very fresh produce and meats
Great place for shopping...
Workers at the cold cut counter are lazy.
Renovation is about to begin. Looking forward to the changes!
It was great
A little pricey
Expensive and not great!
Very good stuff
Great food shopping
Way too expensive for a market . Makes whole foods looks like a bargain.
Always good.
Pricier than ShopRite with about the same selection
Fun place to shop
Some good prices
Love all the foods
Too how long of a wait at the deli counter only one person working at a time
Great market!
Great shopping.
The best!!
Good quality
I like this place
