I needed a chair lift for my 95 year old mother who could not make stairs and therefore could not get out of the house. Service was excellent and they worked hard to come up with solutions to a spacing problem initially thought to be a barrier. Looked for the most inexpensive way to make it work. Luckily the chair fit fine and my mom loves it! She can get out and can once again sit in her backyard-which she loves!
I just got a chair lift for my dad. I called the chairlift store and they were courteous and professional. They came out quickly and did a great job on the installation. They even came out on Father’s Day on Sunday for an issue where my dad accidentally turned the key off, Disabling the chair. They came out same day and didn’t even charge him. I highly recommend them for any installations you have.
Hi. My husband and I care for a couple in their “Senior Years”. (80 & 90) We don’t live with them but we make sure they have everything they need at all times for a fruitful life. One thing very important to me was learning that he lost access to his “get-away” finished basement due to the inability to manage the stairs. She ended up throwing her laundry down the stairs to wash and throw them upstairs to put away, as she had difficulty handling the stairs and a basket at the same time. It became time for a stairlift. A good friend of mine recommended The Stairlift Store. I contacted them and we all agreed on a model and within 7 days it was installed. They both received detailed instructions with care and patience and a contact number if an issue ever arises. They now can return to their previous home lifestyle. They are extremely extremely happy and my husband and I are eternally grateful. Thank you Ed and Joey for giving a little extra life back to a couple we consider our unofficial “Adopted Parents”.
Ed and Joey are terrific. Their product is terrific. Their service is terrific. And they are a delight to do business with.We live in a colonial, with the bedroom upstairs, and the kitchen downstairs. My wifes situation made it impossible for her to walk up & down the stairs without being in agony. The only way we could stay in the home we love was to get a stairlift. I did my homework, and The Stairlift Store seemed like a perfect fit for us.My original contact was by email, then by telephone, then Ed came to our home, surveyed the situation, and made two recommendations. My wife chose the Handicare 1100. A few days later, Joey came and installed it. He was knowledgeable, neat, and patient in explaining how it worked. My wife is now happy as a bug in a rug. And if youre a man reading this, you know the old saying: Happy wife = happy life.I highly recommend Ed and Joey and The Stairlift Store.
I read five positive reviews of The Stairlift Store, and decided they might be a good vendor for my stairlift needs. I phoned them to discuss my needs, but every time I phoned them it went to voice mail. I left messages on three different days (9/21/20, 9/22, and 9/23) but never received a call back or even a voice mail. I will call Acorn directly and ask them for the name of a reliable dealer in my area.Re the reply from the owner below... might I then politely suggest that you change your voice mail message to not promise a call back, or to say that you are temporarily closed? Stay safe and be well...
My dad recently had a stroke this past August and is currently bond to a wheelchair. Unfortunately, we only have full bathrooms on the second level of our home so we knew there was no way of him possibly being able to get upstairs without some sort of lift. Tyrone came out all the way from Jackson to our home and was extremely helpful, professional and overall a kind guy. He was able to lower the installation price for us due to our current situation. We are so thankful and happy to have called Acorn Stairlift.
What can I say about this place. Freaking awesome people. We were looking for an affordable stairlift for our friends. My wife found the stairlift store on line. We messaged them about what we needed. They promptly responded. We explained the situation and they came through with flying colors. We scheduled installation. And Joey showed up on time and ready to go. He’s an installer. He was awesome. He installed the lift in a few hours. He took the time to make sure our friends were totally comfortable with using the lift. And I felt comfortable with the way he explained everything to them. First one on one. Then with both of them. Impressed the hell outta me. They have the phone number to the store and were told any questions or concerns to give them a call. The price was really reasonable. Don’t shop no further. This is the place to use for your stairlift needs. Joey wore a mask and was very careful. Our friends were comfortable with him being there. That speaks volumes to me and my wife. Again kudos to a job well done.
After shopping around we found The Stairlift Store prices to be much lower than everyone else! The team was really nice to work with, no high pressure sales. We love our stairlift, it made the stairs safe again! Thank you Joey and Ed!
My experience is different. I spent 20,000$ with Acorn for two chair lift of 15 steps each, with curve. Not only I discovered after one week they overcharged me but regarfless of the money spent they give only 12 months warranty. This is a scam. Stay away from Acorn
Wonderful people to deal with, quick and efficient installation, and during this pandemic was done very safely and respectfully to everyone in the home. Thank you!
