The Bodyshop is extremely slow in handling claims! Although the car is great but because of such service, will never get another Mazda car!
They are great and super friendly. Always quick to get stuff down.
Amazing customer service, they go over everything in as much detail as needed. I live by a closer Hyundai dealership ship but i make the extra mileage and time trip to Ralph Thayer because of their upfront honesty and commitment to excellence.
Very good customer service. Friendly staff. Prompt with service.
Always easy in and out. The service staff is friendly and effecient.
Did a great job, kept me informed and took time to explain what was done.
Im always hesitant when visiting a dealership for the first time. But right away I felt a little more at ease. Good selection, no hassle, great customer service, and fast - drove out the same day and got a fair trade in. They even filled up my gas tank while I was processing paperwork. I have recommended this place to others.
Just bought a Madza2 from Ralph Thayer today and had a very pleasant experience. Our sales associate was very nice and very conscious to building a payment plan to work with our budget. I felt very comfortable and was able to drive away the same day. Very nice building and good inventory. If I purchase another Mazda in the future, it will be the first place I look.
Best customer service from any dealership.
I wish I could give separate star reviews. I bought a certified used mazda6 here for a great price and the sales staff was fantastic. The sales manager was courteous and friendly and my sales associate was great. I was eager to come back to service my car but was disappointed. I first brought it in to fix a headlight that went out a month and a half after I bought the car. It was OK but the service manager was pushy, condescending, and used scare tactics to up the price. He didnt listen to anything I said and treated me like a disobedient child. Thinking maybe I caught a bad day, I wasnt ready to give up yet, so I brought my car in for an oil change that was supposed to be half off. When I got to the counter the same service associate as the time before quoted me $56. I asked what was going on and he said there was a tire rotation that cost $26. What?? I was never asked about this and given that most places do this for free I was taken aback. He gave half off the oil change only and reminded me that they give a free exterior car wash. Again he was condescending and treated me like a disobedient child. When I got the car back after about a half hour the car wash was little more than a wipe down with a dirty rag. The car was still pretty dirty and I left feeling like Id been taken for a ride. I definitely will not be returning here to service my car!Overall Id come back here to buy a car, but not to service it!
I stopped in here for a recall on my 2004 Mazda 6 and they were fast, courteous, and even washed my car when they were done. Really good experience at this dealership service department.
I just purchased a Hyundai Sonata from Ralph Thayer and had a very pleasant experience. Mike McCool was my sales represntative and he was very professional, thorough and communicative throughout the entire car buying process. Brittany, the finance manager, was also very professional and helpful. I was in and out of this dealership within an hour. I highly recommend Ralph Thayer and will definitely consider making future purchases here.
After receiving several postcards about an airbag service campaign for my Jetta, I brought it in to the service department on 8am on February 27, 2014. Before answering any questions, they started walking around my car with clipboard, then checking the lights. Assuming this was a CYA procedure on their part, I didnt mind. Then they started oiling door hinges and a tech popped the hood- conveniently, I could not see what was going on under the hood from where I was sitting. I interrupted, and asked why they needed to look under the hood to inspect my airbags, and the filling fluid response had a note of little lady condescension. I responded that my fluid levels were fine and that I would prefer that they only worry about my airbags. Kevin very abruptly yelled for the service tech to close the hood. Then, after a bit of keyboard tapping he told me that there was not, and never had been, a service campaign for the airbags on my car. Then he launched into other services available for my car, if I was interested. I told the guy that the only thing I was interested in was that they had completely wasted my time. I walked out of there with the feeling that they had sent out the cards to try to bring people in to be sold on other stuff. Either that, or they are too incompetent to send the proper notices to the proper car owners. Neither possibility left me with a good impression, and I will not be back. Be wary.
Slaes person was overwhelmed. She was very nice just had too much going on. There were a few other guys standing around, eating, while there were at least 5 groups of people wanting to buy cars. After almost 3 hours we were given numbers, that werent what we asked for, so we left. It is kind of a shame because we are going to lease a Mazda but refuse to go back to Thayer. We will try our luck in Farmington Hills.
My sister and I (who are both women and also both young) walked into this place and were not greeted by the staff for a solid two awkward minutes, meanwhile 4 men were gathered at a desk. When asked what we were looking for, we replied a used VW. We were told they had zero inventory of used VW and then the salesman proceeded to ask if Id be interested in a new VW, to which I replied, no. Then he asked why I didnt want to disclose information to him, I replied that I just simply did not want a new car, and that I was looking for a new car. Bottom line is that he did not understand my needs as a consumer, and their inventory on used cars sucked. Go to the used VW dealership in Dearborn instead!
Good service and excellent advice from the service advisors.
Sales and service are both great. Bought my last 2 hyundai from them.
Terry & Dave in VW parts are the best
Absolute moron mechanics, $1,500 in repairs (intake gaskets) less than a month after purchasing the car due to the wrong coolant being put in before purchase. Sales staff was relatively unhelpful and left us waiting.
Great place, Friendly and knowledgeable!
