Cant say much bad about this location. I was sent here by another store that said the had a part, they didnt. The earliest they would be able to get would have been 2 days but because my time and gas was wasted I declined and went to OReilly, but that resulted in them selling me the wrong part. Apparently ther are 3 different versions for my vehicle. Instead of them asking more questions. OReilly will just sell you what ever and assure you it is the correct item.

Please, correct your store hours. I came to the store last night at 10 pm to get some coolant for my car. I ordered at this specific Auto Zone since everywhere online, it said you were open until 11:59 pm. Lo and behold, I get there at around 10:30 pm and the doors are locked. I wouldn’t have ordered at this Auto Zone if I know you were going to be closed. There’s an Auto Zone 1 minutes away, across the street from my house. The only difference is that they said they closed at 8 pm. Also, not entirely sure if you open at 6 am.

Overall poor experience. 50% of the time they dont have the parts their website says they do, 100% of the time you call you get put on hold for 30+ minutes, so calling ahead to confirm is not an option. If given an option, I reccomend going anywhere else.Only reason for 2 instead of 1 star is because they did have the part I needed in stock half the times Ive looked here.

This is my first review of anything online. I called to get the measurements of a part i need, got told to wait while he grabbed his tape measure...20 minutes goes by. I hung up and called again. Asked if they measured it and got told, “hold on boss”, and immediately thrown back on hold. 15 minutes goes by and I eventually hang up again and call again. Just to be told they dont do measurements and to screw off. Wasted my time

The Web ordering experience is merely fair (go to local store to place order), but in-store experience was good. Had to special order some parts, which all arrived as promised. Staff was friendly & helpful, although wait time can seem long if busy. (To be fair, this is the same as for any auto parts store.) Prices were competitive.

Helpful staff but they didnt give me the right information. I went 2 times for oil and a filter. Got the right oil but I asked if I needed an extra quart and they said no. Went through my handbook and it said I needed 5.5 quarts so I had to go back to find an extra quart of oil but they didnt have it. I ended up buying the same brand of oil in 5 quarts. The employee handed me something similar but with a different design. He said it was still the same oil just different design. As Im at the process of my oil change of adding oil, the one with the different design was darker than the one I gotten on my first trip. I think they handed me used oil because the oil in the different design container was dark and the cap was already open. I would refund it but they probably wouldnt believe me that it was already open and used. Make sure you check the oil you purchase.

Purchased 16 Wheel Covers asked for assistance, I was told that there was no one to assist in placing the new wheels covers on the rims, then not even five minutes later an Auto Zone Associate assists a man, with a battery and the Associate who told me that there was no one to assist, he came outdoors to assist another female customer.🤷

As I waited patiently in line, the woman in front of me apologized for taking too long and the older black employee that was assisting her reassured her that she was his customer at the moment, so as not to worry about me...thats fine but when it came to my turn, this employee felt it ok to stop and fist bump some previous customer and discuss how he was now cleaned up and not dirty like last time he was shopping there. In my opionin this employee is prejudiced. This is my 3rd bad experience there. Never going back.

2 out of 3 visible employees were not wearing masks and had plenty of time to discuss taking lunches but not help the customer in front of us. We had to speak up just for the gentleman pictured to be asked if he needed service. Truly sad that yall can waste peoples time and put them at risk at the same time during a pandemic. Truly sad. April 25, 2021 at 1630hrsWhen arrived we were yelled at by first male employee for getting in wrong line. This employee was very rude and unprofessional. There was long line. This first employee, who had no name badge or employee ID then yelled to second male employee Alonzo that he was going outside to install a battery for a customer. The 2 male employees then proceeded to have a yelling match over whether to install battery or tend to the long line. According to argument there was a female employee on break. The yelling went back and forth in front of a long line of customers. Very unprofessional conduct that lasted several minutes. The first rude employee then just walked outside as Alonzo continued to scream at him. At that point the female came out to help. The line was ridiculously long, the wait unacceptable, the conduct unprofessional and overall a very unpleasant experience. Any customer who observed this experience would be very unlikely to return to Autozone, especially this disorganized, unprofessional location.

WHAT KIND OF OPERATION IS THIS!? - Bamboozled @ AutoZone Middlebelt in Livonia?1. Only Most Expensive Wiper Blades Available, (making me question the credibility of the worker in question and the operation as a whole).2. Did Not Tell About Rebate If You Buy Wiper Set.3. More Training on Customer Service Needed4. Was Not Knowledgable on How to Change a Windshield Wiper!!!BUYING THE PARTS: I went in and told them I didnt know much about cars but I thought the part number might be printed on the back of the part. The truth is I do know a bit about cars but it was my Moms car and not mine. This was apparently enough for them to try to take me to the cleaners over wiper blades.I had no intention of purchasing the best quality wiper blades on a 17 year old car, however, I was told by the sales rep, that these were the only wipers available in the store. I also want to note that after I arrived home, I later checked online on the AutoZone website and they had a variety of blades, different quality and different prices.My mom also sent me to Auto Zone because she was told they install the blades for you. She met me up there with my step dad as they happened to be shopping across the street. My mom walked in the store, paid for the merchandise and then walked out of the store with the blades, when she remembered they installed them.She went back into the store and asked the sales rep that sold me the blades, if he could install them. He said they were too busy, short staffed, and why dont I try another Livonia MI location which was further from my house than this one was. The weird thing was, when she did go back in, he was standing at the cash register and he was NOT waiting on any customers.I was attempting to install the blades myself when I noticed the sales rep approaching the car. He must have changed his mind. He ended up installing the blades, but appeared to be struggling and he left one of the old wipers on the hood of the car which I discovered when we arrived home.It turned out that the right side wiper blade was in A 1 condition and didnt even need to be replaced, though he said it might not have to be, the other guy before him said it is smart to buy both together. IDK - all together unprofessional, and I bought other things too. Service was slow, but I was nice and patient anyway, I just dont get it.This did not seem like a professional operation.~Sean of Detroit~

It’s so nice to get great customer service! I needed a simple blinker tail light bulb for my Ford Fusion. As soon as I walked in the gentleman (CSR #68) asked me if I needed help. I told him what I needed, he went and looked it up on the computer right away came back out onto the floor to find it for me. When I said that was all I needed he took me up to the register and cash me out. The whole process took less than 10 minutes and it’s a great feeling knowing I now have the correct bulb bulb when I get home.He just had a great attitude and you could tell he enjoyed helping people. I posted this hoping someone from Auto Zone might see this and give him some well deserved recognition.

I went into an empty store today at 10:50am. The employee behind the counter wasEngaged in a conversation with another man ( non customer who was exiting the store) I waited to be acknowledged. The employee ignored me. Finally the employee instructed me to go to the middle of the floor where the “line begins here” sign was. I said “sir, there is no one else in the store, you want meTo walk away so you can callMe back to this same position with zero customers in line”? He said “yes you’ll have to walk over there”. I replied “no, I have to take my money elsewhere”. This was the rudest most unprofessional businessI’ve ever been to. Never again.

I was in here to pick up some rotors and brake pads for a vehicle of mine. I cannot complain about the service or how fast it took them to get me in-and-out. The place was set up for social distancing. In addition, all the employees were practicing social distances and wearing their masks. I would definitely recommend you to go here.

I work on all of my cars so I visit many auto parts stores. My experience at this specific autozone has consistently been terrible. The manager, Jeff was unnecessarily rude to not only me but to other customers and I see it happening everytime I go. This is the first bad review i’ve ever written on Google. The behavior of the manager there was absolutely appalling. All other employees were helpful and respectful.

Oil on the shelves arent up there according to identifying tags. Was seeking conventional oil. Appreciate the assistance from the associate who gave me the you a girl service for coming from behind the counter to verify what Id already stated. Im thankful they had everything I needed except the bolts for the straps to the fuel tank, service was pretty quick as they all seem to work together fairly well. Prices decent and they answer the phone and assist.

Awesome customer service. Open 24hrs and night shift is just as attentive as day shift. Quintin was a great help and was really upbeat. I was shocked, Im not usually met with such awesome customer service anywhere when its the late shift. Sales reps were knowledgeable... I will definitely be back and recommend to family and friends. Store was also very clean and organized.

Today Kevin, one of the stores managers assisted my Dad and I on an emergent visit to acquire a starter for a Nissan Sentra. Although my Dad and I put Kevin through his paces,he maintained a super pleasant demeanor and was engaging and cheerful despite the fact that we were looking for a part by the wrong year. Manger - Alaia (Male) Was Highly Rude, Judgmental, Remarks & Prejudice Aura. There are specific safety zones, & was asked to step into an unauthorized section of the store away from another White Customer, as if the specified Safety Zones Were Not Set Far Enough, Or I was Not Good Enough To Even Be THAT CLOSE to Another White Customer, Being Black . . The Manager of this Location Is Highly UnAware Of Alot Of Rule Book Conducts Etc. I believe he should be highly supervised or let go from his position. A. CALL to the store was made earlier within the Day, I Was On Hold 30 Min before I called back and was on hold another 7-10min, Cant be That Busy, Its Snowing & when I arrived in the store, There 1 only 1 other customer- (White Male) Once I Pronounced MySelf To be Higher Up In Autozone Supervision, Manger - (Alaia) (Arabic/Indian Ethnic Male ) tried to gain some leadership & asked another employee if he did Drawer Count I Cut Him Off Short & Notified Him That He Can Not & Will Not Ask Another Employee About Drawer Count, When u did not ask him to assist another customer while waiting In Line, (Considering There Was Only I & 1other Customer Within the Store, Manger (Alaia) Then Mentally Stepped Down from his position & Expressed to me that he was sorry & meant no Offense, Naturally That was taken as on offence considering I never Mentioned Anything About Being Offended, NOR Race, He ( Manager Alaia) Then Stepped to the back & acted as if he was looking for something, I have nothing Good what so ever to say upon this locations experience.

This is worst place ice ever been to. We did an order online to get in and out. The problem 90% of the employees are to incompetent to know how to find labeled inventory. We are still waiting and have been here for 45 minutes with out our items. Only one guy is actually helping and pulling items. Every other autozone employee is going in circles doing nothing. Dont waste your time if you value it.

This locations service quality changes from day to night. During the day they have plenty of Staff members available to help and get you in and out fast. At night I waited over 20 minutes for them to locate 1 axle nut, though apologized for the wait it doesnt take away seeing other employees doing absolutely nothing while theres a line of people, and talking and joking around with the ones that are actually trying to help customers. My advice to anyone is do not go to this location in the late afternoon or night unless you absolutely need to.

Autozone in Livonia did an amazing job rectifying an issue I had with a defective alternator. The district manager, store manager and the associate at the store went above and beyond to fix my issue. The team work they showed to fix this issue was very professional and showed they were on the same page of fixing the costumers issue. I will most definitely come back here for any auto parts.

I was trying to get assistance over the phone about a part and he left me on hold for more than 20 minutes. I decided to hang up and got the parts at Advanced Auto Parts. There was an issue while ordering (second time this happened to me within a year) four of the ignition coils online with the discount because of quantity. The guy on the phone said that he had five in stock and will double check. That is when he placed me on hold. I had found the same part at Advanced Auto Part with an even better discount and shipped a lot sooner. I no longer will recommend AutoZone!

Ive had good experiences at this location in the past, thats why the poor, and frankly insulting level of custome service that I received tonight shocked and surprised me. I brought my phone with the autozone website open to the part number I needed to Jessie at the register to get an alternator for a project car (Im installing a GM Delco alternator in a classic MGB) he insisted that he couldnt sell me an alternator without the year, make, and model, rather than just look at the screen that I tried to share with him (which had the appropriate store part number) Once I got him to understand what I was doing, he quoted me over $140.00 for the part I had come all the way there for (I had to pass two Auto Zone locations, as that store was the only one with the part that I needed) while it was very clearly priced at $81.99 by the Auto Zone website. Then, Jessie got his manager Chuck involved, who further insulted me by trying to haggle in offering the alternator for still above the advertised price. I really dont ever want to shop at the Middlebelt Rd, Livonia Autozone ever again.

I had a tough experience at this location. I visited to purchase brakes for my truck and upon waiting for 10 minutes in line I finally reached the counter. I was helped by a lady who probably shouldnt be selling auto parts period. She didnt know how to work the computer system. She managed to get all the parts rang up but then then didnt know where to find them. Once she located the parts she assumed that there was 2 rotors per box (there is only 1 per box as they are quite large and heavy) and only pulled 2. I had to explain to her that she was missing 2 rotors and she complained about having to get the other 2. Finally at the point to check out and pay and she rang up my brakes without the warranty. Then the floor manager has to step in and void my transaction and re run it with the warranty. Finally was able to leave and go home and after tearing off my rear calipers found out she grabbed the wrong pads. Had to make a trip back up to the store to get the proper pads. Not a good experience.

I went to a different AutoZone telling them I think I need a new battery and they told me I didnt but didnt even look under the hood, but when I went to this one he checked under the hood and showed me the machine said my battery was bad and showed me different options I had to choose from based off my budget needs
