If you want to be financially ruined by a vehicle while a shark hides behind a warranty, definitely buy here! I have now paid more out of pocket to fix my car than I paid to own it. Any repairs done under that warranty should be instantly inspected by a reputable mechanic because ppr does fake band aid repairs to save money. Buyer dont beware. Buyer go anywhere else.

Drove 40 min to check this place out and and older guy came out and said cars sold and that was it didn’t offer to help us look around or even introduce himself, not even going to go into the painted over rust. Worst experience ever at a dealer 10 out of 10 would NEVER recommend. I would give this place zero stars if I could.

I purchased a 2008 Dodge Dakota from Alan at Nickel City about 2 months ago. It is the best used vehicle Ive had. After a month of having the truck, the brake lines went. I had contacted Alan and he told me where to have it towed, assured it was covered under warranty. He willingly took my trade in also. I would definitely do business there again and reccomend this dealer.

Evil people. My son missed payments because of Covid-19 stay at home order. So he has gone 7 weeks without pay. But they didn’t want to hear it. Instead of working with them. They instantly sent it to collections. And ruined my sons credit. Stay away from here where the only thing they care about is the all mighty dollar. Way to show human decency during hard times.

Purchasing a car can be a very daunting task but after I had several bad experiences at other car dealers, my trust was renewed when I met Alan at Nickel City Auto. He took his time with my husband and me. He listened to what we wanted and needed and went out of his way to help us with things that he absolutely did not have to. He also worked with us to accommodate our schedules (work, kids) and gives you his cell phone # to get a hold of him with questions we might have at any time. The few angry reviews I read before we went in was definitely not the person we worked with. Oh and there was a review for a Nickel City Auto in another state which confused me. I found out no affiliation to this Nickel City.

So at first I thought hey this sales guy is really nice. Then I asked for the car fax ... he read a few things off, wouldnt show me. Should of been my first red flag. So I made a list of the issues I had with the vehicle. Thought it was the brakes grinding, so they fixed that. Not the issue. Took it home. A month later I started having issues with transmission. They fixed it under warranty had to put in a transfer case. Then a couple weeks later. Same issue. That was supposedly the transmission lines. So that was fixed after having a heck of a time getting a hold of someone at Nickel City. Then after that still an issue. I was hung up on and none of my calls were returned. I tried to talk to Zimmies who does the work for them and they said before they could do anything I needed to get a hold of someone there. Never got an answer now my vehicle is of course out of the warranty and I have to put in a whole new transmission. I have continued to try and call someone. I have been told by both owners at Nickel City that is not their problem. For two months I have made payments on a vehicle I cannot drive. These guys are horrible business men.

I bought a 4x4 from Alan a month ago. I had a situation and needed a new vehicle right away, and had a few credit issues. He came right out and helped me get the truck I wanted, at a decent price, and got me finiancing to improve my credit as well as the truck. I did have issues with it, (its a used vehicle, not brand new), I went and spoke to him about it, and he had it all taken care of, even if it wasnt covered by the warranty.I have no problem with him, or the repair shop. They work with you, when you work with them.I will be going back to him.

My daughter purchased a car from this dealer. The car ended up being a piece of crap. They do not give you a real car fax and do not fix problems after purchasing even within the warranty period. Buyer beware. They are a COMPLETE rip off and hide everything enough to get car out the door. They prey on people who know nothing about cars. If your smart, drive right by and go to a reputable dealer.

Allan is an up front guy. He does not do sales gimmics or hidden prices. He will work with you on price or find lenders that the big dealerships cant or wont work with. Small lot means small selection but that does not mean lack of quality. Offerings in all price ranges and vehicle types. A personal responsibility to garner trust with customers, Allen will not sell vehicles that are sub-par or below his standard. All vehicles, regardless of milage, come with a 90 day/3500 mile third party warranty included in the price. That is well above and better than the NYS law. I would do business with Allen in a heartbeat. In short: great dealership, great prices, no gimmics, up front pricing, owner takes time for the individual customer.

I walked in and paid 8000 for a Dodge truck and 6 months later found out that it was basically held together with bondo..... doors, wheel wells, tailgate and gas tank. I knew they done some work because it was obvious but if I dont get rid of it now it will be worthless..... Alan also argued with over a $40 part that needed to be replaced after only 600 miles (check engine light)

Alan is the true definition of what people describe as a used car Salesman. He buys junk and sells it to you, bought a 04 Santa Fe with 110k in April of 18, paid $6600 with an extended warranty, two days later had to replace the catalytic converter to the tune of $1600, none of it covered due to preexisting condition, when i picked it up it ran worse then when i brought it in to Zimmies Tire in Lockport, NY. Just a little on my background. I taught automotive electronics and on- board computer systems for 15 years at the Sun Electronics Corp, and. Two community colleges in the 80s. I took it down the road to a shop where i can borrow their service equipment. Took me longer to hook the scanner up, then to see what the problem was, a bad coil pack that was causing a misfire on 2 cylinders, also what caused the converter to plug up in the first place. Drove it for 5 more days and it failed to crank over or start. At 69 years old, i went back to pulling my dust covered meters and tools out to diagnose this problem. Have found two relays that were not getting power to them and a blown fuse in a slot that the repair manuals say the slot is not used?? It is now mid November and i have spent more time then i can count checking ever wire in the entire car for a short that i have no idea where it runs from or too. Do your due diligence and be careful purchasing a vehicle from this guy. He is probably the smoothest used car salesman out there. My thoughts are to avoid Nickel City Auto Sales like the plague..

Just got a vehicle from this man like 2 weeks ago and the check engine light is ALREADY on and I ALREADY have to take it to the shop. This dude is starting to make me an angry customer. I should NOT have to take time out my day to take this vehicle to the car shop already. And what if I get left without a car for a day or two while its getting fixed? I have a full-time job to get to and from! So upsetting .

My girlfriend bought a garbage 2002 Nissan Sentra from this dump. The car has had nothing but problems since day one. She was promised a cat converter and zimmies whom does all there work lied to her and put a cheap part on to make it seem like they repaired it, only to come to find out it was never repaired and now she is out of warranty and they wont do anything for her. if you have a brain, DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE. The owner himself hung up on me. Piece of trash establishment. i would seriously buy my car off of a drug dealer before i would go here. SCREW YOU ALL. go to a real dealer like fuccillo

This dealership is a joke. I went here to look at a car for my girlfriend. We asked to take a vehicle for a test-drive. Upon waiting for the car to warm up, the salesman comes back in and says he would rather us not take the car for a test drive because there is a burning smell coming from inside the car. He recommend that we come back on wednesday to allow for ample time for him to fix the problem. He then asked if she would like to leave her information for him to run the numbers. I could not believe he would even ask to run the numbers on a car we couldnt even test-drive. I then asked, what is the kelly blue book value of the car? To which he stated, the kelly blue book value doesnt really matter. So needless to say, we left looking up the kbb value, which turned out to be half of what this scheming dealership was asking for said vehicle. This place is quite a disappointing sham. My recommendation is to go to a legit dealer. #westherr
