Mills is the top of the line, when it comes to quality and experience. There are always plenty of people to help you when you need it, and when you start a project, the jeweler you work with (Brian for me) sees it through to the end. You get beautiful pictures for bridal sets that function as appraisal-worthy proofs of quality, and a keepsake of your time with them. I will go back for my jewelers needs in the future-we have two wedding sets in our house from them and they are top of the line!

This ring has its own story. My husband (then boyfriend) had purchased 3 colors of gold wire and twisted them together, himself. Mills Jewelers in Lockport, helped him stabilize it with outer white gold bands for our engagement and wedding. On our honeymoon, we chose a stone to complete it.However, in the following 3 years, our 2 precious daughters were born, and my hands swelled up a size. I wore the ring on a chain around my neck, during that time.Recently, we returned the ring to Mills and they were able to both size it up, and set the stone in rose gold for us. After waiting patiently for 3 years, I can finally wear the finished product of my wedding ring! Thank you Mills!

I wasnt born in Western New York so prior to this experience I have never been given the Mills experience. All of the locals I spoke to ranging from friends, family and even random people I have talked to throughout the years have raved about this place and honestly for good reason. Most importantly my girlfriend (now fiance) and her family have spoken about the fact that the staff is caring, compassionate, knowledgeable and exemplify the epitome of excellent customer service. I can personally attest to all of the above. From the moment I walked through the door until I walked out the door with an engagement ring, the process was seamless. I told each and every team member that this was the most wholesome, genuinely rewarding, and honestly amazing experience of my life. There have been great people, and great experiences in my life and yet this has stood out without comparison. I worked closely with Brian from the beginning and can tell you that if you are looking for a jeweler that truly cares and wants to build the perfect ring for the love of your life look no further. Mills is a cut above the rest and a completely different jewellery store which is a point I want to emphasize. Prior to walking into Mills I looked into a different jewellery store and all they wanted to do was sell a product which is ultimately why I decided to walk out of that original store. That particular store didnt care about me and most importantly my engagement to my future fiance which ended things between myself and that business before anything ever began. This was minutes into walking into this other establishment. Brian in our first meeting told me that they dont want to sell me a ring, they want me to find the perfect ring and deliver a memory that will last for the rest of my life. When I see it I will know it, and we will build the ring together. He made it extremely clear that this was true, he didnt want to sell me a product even though thats essentially the point of the business. That being said as a business when all you want to do is sell products it shows, whereas when you want to sell a memory/experience thats a completely different story. This wasnt a performative attempt at customer service, this was true and wonderful customer service of the highest level. Each and every time I was scheduled (or just popped in unannounced) he was warm, welcoming and most importantly he just listened, observed and delivered exactly what I needed. I wasnt trying to build a typical ring, I wanted something very unique and from the beginning I knew that Brian was the man for the job. I I have nothing but warm words to say about the entire staff as well. No matter who I interacted with, each and every staff member delivered the highest level of customer service imaginable. George was kind, and wanted me to walk out the door happy with a ring that I could be truly proud of. He made sure that not only Mills was proud of their product but more importantly I was, and that was clear as day. Debbie was knowledgable, charismatic and worked with me to make sure the process went as smooth as it could possibly go. After the ring was completed Debbie and I spoke about wedding bands and she made some fantastic recommendations and it showed she was always trying to think ahead which I was very clear I wanted to think of the future even though I just built the engagement ring. Heather was welcoming and always did her best to make sure I immediately was helped whether it was herself or another staff member. I wasnt able to walk into the building without being greeted or helped which is an incredibly undervalued aspect of what a business needs to do in order to succeed/satisfy their customers. Cyndi was invested in the process from the very moment I walked in the door, to the time I walked out with the ring on my way to prepare for my proposal. This was my first time going into Mills Jewelers this morning and was looking for something specific. I was VERY impressed that they had disposable masks available and hand sanitizer! Once I walked in the second set of doors, I was even more impressed because even though they were busy, I was still greeted by every employee there! I could feel there smiles under there masks ! Im sure some of them are not required to wear them per CDC new guidelines for fully vaccinated people but they did anyways . A tall gentleman took his time with me in showing all I wanted to look at with the utmost patience and didnt feel rushed . So very impressed with everyone that worked there this morning. I left happy and found what I was looking for.. They showed attention to all the customers in the store . I will definitely be returning. Thank you Mills Jewelers!!

So I am a last minute bride…I waited until my mid 40s to get married and waited until 2 weeks before the wedding to think about wedding bands! Enter in my cousin George. I was too embarrassed to reach out but my mom insisted - “He gets it,” she coaxed - “contact him!” So I sheepishly sent him a message and he responded within MINUTES! He immediately reassured me that there was still time, he would walk me through the process, and sent me 2 helpful links. He offered to have a zoom meeting with me 24 hrs later. As I browsed the sites I realized I know nothing about any of this “Tungsten sounds cool and different,” I mused…a tire tread pattern? Yellow? Comfort fit? I was lost. Together with Austin we found a couple options he liked. George honed in on the features we liked the most, drilled down to the most important info (which metals crack, which lose luster, how to confirm ring size, etc) but didn’t overwhelm with too much. He made a few gentle suggestions and found a combination of elements that I really loved. When he checked the inventory he realized this would have to be ordered. I briefly panicked, knowing we had less than 2 weeks left. He immediately reassured me, laid out the timing, lined up his goldsmith colleague to provide the satin finish, and plans to overnight it to me - after all of this it is due to arrive a WHOLE WEEK BEFORE the wedding (which by my standards seems early!)! All quite miraculous I would say - in addition to talking me down from my angst, being reassuring, and beyond helpful - I learned a lot too! George has a tremendous depth of expertise in addition to his store’s exceptional customer service. Why can’t all businesses be such a joy to work with like this? I am supremely proud to be George’s cousin and to support local business in Lockport/the Buffalo area! I am now breathing a sigh of relief that I have a handpicked band coming soon and it’s all the more special since George played such a pivotal role in it!

I had an awful experience at the jeweler where I purchased my vintage diamond ring. They sized it and the shank was extremely thin. I had the ring less than 2 months and the shank broke. I took my ring to Mills for repair. Not only did they do an amazing job repairing the shank, but they also replaced the half prongs holding my diamond. We were welcomed into the back of the store to watch Mills on-site goldsmith place the center stone. What a treat to watch a master craftsman at work. My gorgeous emerald cut diamond is absolutely dazzling in its unique platinum Art Deco setting.If you want personal service and unsurpassed quality, do yourself and the one you love a favor and go to Mills!

Staff were very friendly and helpful.Shop is very clean and everyone is masked.Also, shop is accessible for handicap with plenty of parking.A very delightful shopping experience for someone who knows very little about ordering flowers!This was my review for Goulds Flowers... I went to Mill’s after seeing a ring I’ve been wanting for about a year. They shipped it from California to Lockport just for me to see it. Debbie was such a big help and reassured me that this ring was for me. Would recommend for your jewelry needs and wants. 10/10

I had the best experience today at Mills Jewelers today. I wanted to add to my wedding ring to enhance it. Cindy helped design a beautiful addition to my ring. She spent a lot of time helping me decide what was best for me and the style of my ring. I am so excited to see it finished.Meanwhile a man came into the store selling roses, George bought me and another customer( socially distanced of course) roses. It was so sweet and meant a lot. In this difficult time of Covid it was so nice to refocus and spoil myself !Thank you MILLS !!!!

Very courteous staff! Was very attentive to my my needs and what I was looking for but not overly pushy trying to just make a sale! I came back a week later and ordered the piece I was looking at and it came in just a few days later! It was wrapped and I was out the door in moments! They even untangled a cherished necklace of mine at no charge! Very satisfied with my experience at Mills Jewelers!I’ll definitely be back!
