No one in the area would let us use the restroom for the kids (they ied 4 places before Ace!). I know it seems little, but it’s a big deal for a Mom. The people at Ace allowed us to use their staff one. Very nice and helpful staff, organized store….we will for sure be back! Thank you!

Ace hardware is truly the first stop for local buying! But there is nothing wrong to try the bigger box stores if you cant find it at Ace!

This ace has been a lockport staple forever. I know years ago Ive had issues with them keeping their items stocked. This is not the case anymore. I go ace 3-4 times a week and am never disappointed.

Made my patio set purchase online, store only had display model left, spoke with store that was my only option since they had none left, store even delivered it same day set it up in my backyard.. saved me alot of time.. definitely my to go placeThank youJim Kroupa

Edited, 8/29/20: Ive upgraded this from a 1-star review. I appreciate that the person who replied to my review yesterday did, in fact, research and follow through with us this morning. We now have our product. So why not a higher rating?1) I dont think this would have happened if I hadnt posted the 1-star review yesterday.2) When we called to inquire about our product yesterday, it was apparently bagged and labeled in their order pickup area - but the person we spoke to on the phone did not bother to check this before telling us there was nothing they could do to help, which would have spared us the hassle and confusion. (Also, this employee told us they couldnt refund an online order in the store, but the person who called us today (Jim, I believe) offered us a refund, if we wanted. So Im still unclear as to what the actual policy is there.)In any case, were very glad they followed through and made things right. Thanks!---I have to mention Ive mostly had pleasant experiences at this store, aside from one rude employee in the past; however, this most recent experience really tainted my good impression.We placed an order online for pickup at our local store nearly 6 weeks ago. We were told one part of our order, a specialized glue, was backordered and wed be called when it came in. Cut forward to this week. We received a call that our product was in stock, and my husband told the employee we couldnt pick up until later in the week. He was going to pick up the order today and asked me to note down the order number so he could take it with, just in case he needed it. But when I looked at our order history I saw the order was listed as having been picked up yesterday. I suggested he call before going to the store, as with COVID-19 being a concern, we try not to go anywhere we dont absolutely have to, and the employee he spoke to told him that apparently theyd given away the glue we ordered to someone else and there was nothing they could do about it at the store level. They gave him some number and said they might be able to help you.When he got off the phone with them, I called the number and it ended up being a helpdesk number for the store itself (in case theyre having technical difficulties, etc), not a customer service number. In the end, I was forced to send an email to the websites customer service to see if they might be able to help, and Im now waiting for a response.Im displeased because with most other stores (Target, Walmart), if you order from their website, you can return to the store, no issues. In this case, since THEY had given away a product we paid for, after we told them wed be in to collect it AND waited over a month for it, I would have hoped theyd bend over backward to try to help us resolve the issue, but nope. Disappointed with the entire situation.

Not up to typical Ace standards. Ive found they carry much less than Im used to, always seem to be out of whatever they do carry, and have poor hours.

Excellent experience every time. Helpful, thoughtful staff are there to assist every time I visit.

Not the best Ace for keeping stuff in stock but still pretty good.

I was out looking for refills on my 2 propane tanks. I went to Ace and they can fill up your empty tank with 20 pounds of propane for $20. Everywhere else that does exchanges give you only 15 pounds but charge you $15 (Murphys) to $22 at Shell for 15 pounds. Go into Ace, pay for your refill, then drive to the back of the store where there is a fenced in storage area where they refill the tank. Great service that was very friendly and a great deal.

Liz and Molly at the service desk provided excellent service today problem solving a lighting issue with our turkey decoration that wouldn’t light. After testing the fuses and finding they worked, they checked each bulb and replaced the dead ones. Thanks for saving it!

Being a life long resident of Lockport, Kin-Ko Ace is my number 1 place to go when I need something for my house/garden!They train their employees so they can answer questions, give you direction and help you get what you need.Love they that they do repairs too! Saved me money over the years.Theyve changed the store around, its MUCH easier to find things & have more stock. Go ACE!

Above and beyond customer service! This evening about 7:40, Jim the store manager called me 30 minutes or so after assisting me with finding the shower replacement cartridge I needed. He made sure I understood what I was doing and wanted to make sure I was able to change it out and my family had water tonight. He even gave me his cell number in case I had a problem! Havent had service like this in forever! Thank you Jim...I was able to change it wth your excellent teaching skills and knowledge! God bless!

Not only nice hes never gotten irritated by my double questions or asking him to repeat something for me!! You can almost always count on Ace being more expensive than just about anywhere else. But sometimes you find a deal. You can also count on Ace being more helpful than the others, better than the big box hardware stores and leaps above stores like Walmart.

I go here more times finding what I dont need than what I need. It takes them a few weeks to restock something after it sells out. I hope one day they learn to use a computer to manage inventory because they are terrible at keeping their shelves full.

Go there to try to save myself a trip and every time I wind up having to take the trip because the store has nothing that you needed ever. And there prices are outa control .they send you little rewards cards in the mail and you try to use them and they wont let you because for some reason it doesnt apply to whatever youre buying

Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Prices may be a bit higher than at bigger stores but no one at bigger stores knows near as much about thier product as this staff.
