We came to Maaco by default after a car accident. The driver was unable to pay to have the car repaired immediately but was assured that he could come in to arrange credit payment once he was old enough to set up a payment plan (4 weeks). Unfortunately we were never told that holding the car at the lot was a mere $40 per day. This dramatically increased the cost of the repair. This is an inexcusable way to do business. I would never recommend Maaco to anyone.

Fast and excellent service. From day one I had communication from Erik at Maaco and he helped me get everything set up and communicated with my insurance company. Both my insurance and Maaco worked together making the process very simple for me. I got my car back ahead of schedule, cleaned and detailed looking better than it did before the accident.

UPDATE, registered complaint with Maaco corporate office 5 or 6 times to date, have been told at least 4 times someone from their corporate office would contact me. No one has contacted me to resolve the damage to my car or to finish the work I contracted maaco to perform.HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! They have over 70 reviews with a 4.1 star rating and I have no idea how that is possible. Erik the owner is horrible at communication and does not seem to care what things look like when they leave his shop. I really regret using this business and should have gone with my original thought and simply had the car wrapped in vinyl. I choose the second best option for paint services, paid extra to have trim, weatherstripping, lights, bumpers, etc removed prior to painting, paid extra to have rock chips repaired, paid extra for two tone paint. This was all at Eriks recommendations except the two tone colors. I Had car painted, was promised in 3 days, then 7, and ended up being 19 days total. After a week Erik called to let me know the car was ready to be picked up. Upon inspection of the car I realized things have gone terribly wrong, tons of debris in paint, rock chips not sanded, several pinholes in paint(actually called fisheyes in the industry), most trim had paint on it, interior door panel had paint, some areas that should have been painted were partially masked, many areas that should of been masked were only partially masked, many new scratches on drivers side of vehicle, paint on brand new tires, clear coat has a horrible orange peel texture, some places paint is as course as 40 grit sand paper, drivers side doors had something rest against them when clear coat was wet and left a weird texture, another panel appeared dull and smeared like it was wiped with acetone or lacquer thinner, etc., etc. Needless to say I wasnt expecting a show quality job but this was absolutely horrible. Erik agreed to repair his faulty work and I wrote up a small list of the unbearable flaws. Erik communicated everything on the list was done and at almost 3 weeks I expected to pickup a decently painted car. However not much was actually done. Some areas have paint patch jobs that actually look like they brushed on colored white-out correction fluid. Erik stated everything is covered under warranty however also stated he was done with the car and wont do any more work on it. I then asked how much would it be to fix the front bumper and rear hatch that he damaged? $2,000 to fix the major flaws his shop created! I then contacted law enforcement and was advised to take my vehicle I would have to pay the shop, even though the work was not completed. The lack of industry standard work, incompletion of contracted work, or damage to my vehicle would have to be addressed civilly most likely through small claims court. I then addressed deducting from payment reasonable car rental allowance 12 days at $35 per day =$420. Erik would only discount his price $295.00. It is now 3 days later and some of the paint is still tacky and not curing, some areas the paint is already flaking off the car. Ive called a few local body shops and have been told they sadly have seen several maaco problem paint jobs and some of the vehicles so damaged that the repair jobs actually costing double what it would have been for them to do the job correctly to start with. Will be getting several estimates today, really not sure where to go from here. My vehicle is most likely a total loss from the damage caused by this maaco facilty.

I was blown away by Maaco. They went above and beyond. I had them paint my 1999 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra and blew my expectations away. They did so many extra things that I hadn’t planned on them doing. The staff was just amazing as well. I will definitely go here again, and again, and again. I couldn’t be happier with their service.

Just had an amazing experience at Macco in Logan Utah! I stopped by without an appointment. My new F150 had a blemish on the paint on the passenger door. Erik quickly identified the problem, took an employee off another job, and had it looking brand new in less than 10 minutes! He wouldn’t even accept a payment for the excellent service! I was impressed and appreciative. It made my day. I’ll definitely be going back in the future and recommend Macco to my friends.

For just an old truck Ive been very happy with the paint job

Went in for an issue with tapping a curb with a wheel. Bent some subframe, so I had them fix it.No service lights before going in, or airbag, etc.The job went ok for the subframe, BUT for the one mile they drove it, they returned it to me with airbag lights, ABS lights, VSA light, cruise control not working, horn not working, and radio controls not working. Claimed it was wear and tear. Wear and tear doesn’t disable your HORN!They said that it was my clockspring, gave me a quote and denied having caused the issue.So, go here if you want your cheap fix, but ALWAYS expect to pay for something else to get fixed after your visit.If you want a better overall visit, go visit Master Mechanic in Providence, which I should have done in the first place but thought they couldn’t mess this up...Whelp, I was wrong.

Ive known the owner for years and can easily speak to his integrity, hard work and attention to detail. When I went to pick up the truck he noticed 2 TINY spots I wouldnt have been concerned with and took the extra time to fix them. While it was there he went above and beyond by having the windshield replaced (it was 3 years past due) as well as dents removed. Im not leaving this review because I know him...I leaving it because I got WAY more out of the service than I expected. My only regret is not getting it done sooner. Someone hit my car and I am in the process of working on the claim with insurance. The insurance company told me that I needed to submit an estimate or two for them to continue processing my claim. I came to Maaco in Logan to get an estimate. The employee would not give me one, despite me asking several times. He kept pressuring me to just leave the car and have them fix it right then. I felt that the employee was arrogant, did not listen to me, and was extremely condescending. I will not return to this business.

My teenager ran the car into the basketball post in the driveway. Not a huge deal but the metal was exposed and started to rust. I got another quote that made me think it wouldnt be worth fixing. Then I talked to Eric at Maaco. They were less than half the amount. They worked fast, gave me a ride and did exactly what they said they would. Took my car in for some body work. Im leery of car chains, but the reviews were decent and I had a 20 percent off coupon. It turns out that Maaco, or at least this Maaco, is fantastic. The people were friendly, and the cost was 300 dollars less than their original estimate even without my coupon because they were able to find a cheaper part. They seem trustworthy, and while I hope I never need that kind of work again, theyll be the ones I go to should that happen, coupon or no coupon. Plus, they shined my car up almost as good as new.

Had them do dent repair work and paint job on my suv. The first paint job turned out great, but you could still see some of the original dent. Eric was great and said he Would make sure they get it looking better. He took it back in and did a great job on the second time. Plus they never charged me more than the original price quoted. Easy to work with and out of everyone else in the valley, they were almost 2x less expensive.

I had them do a shell for my 07 Tundra that I picked up from a local classified add and they did a great job. They had it done in a day and the price was pretty reasonable. The owner was very friendly and courteous and so was the bearded dude with the tattoos that greeted me when I picked it up. The office area and bathroom is also immaculate and is more in line with what you would expect at an upper class ski resort, not an auto shop.

Paint looks ok, just not $3000 worth.

I got in a car accident about 8 months ago. We took my car to Macco to have it fixed. Everyone there was very nice. I was happy with it the first few weeks. Since then we have had a numerous amount of problems. We have taken it back a few times and they will say they fixed the problem and then something else is broken. They did not fix a lot of the problems from the wreck and the car should have been totaled. My car is worth about $5,000 and we have spent way more than that in damages from the wreck. I don’t feel like the company was honest. They said they could fix it for under what the car was worth, but in reality they didn’t fix all of the problems. I’ve been very frustrated with the whole situation. I will never take a vehicle there again. I would not recommend to anyone.

Our car was hit and Eric took great care of us. They were fast and you cant even tell where the new paint starts or stops. We were thrilled with the work they did! And they did it for much less than any other quotes that we got. We had an excellent experience and would go there again.

Maaco was the cheapest, but some places wont even give you a quote on painting unless you buy it from them.. Warranty reasons..? Maaco price matched the sale, had it in one day. I brought them the car, and they had it all done in 24 hours. Great service! Ask for Erick.

Worst experience ever. I had them do a rhino lining several years ago. I knew better than to go there because I’ve heard about the quality. They don’t do prep work, if you take a car in to be painted with a dead bird on the hood, they paint over the bird. I thought it would be hard to screw up a rhino lining, you scuff the surface and spray it on!! I only needed it functional but it wasn’t even that. I am happy to pay for work that is better quality than I can do, but I could peel the liner out almost as easy as the drop in liners. They redid it 3 times and it still wouldn’t hold. Lucky for me, the motor on the truck went out so I unloaded it. I wouldn’t use Maaco to paint my enemy’s wheelbarrow.

Great customer service! Very nice staff! Went to get a tailgate cap put on my truck that had fell off. They put in on no problem, and had it ready within 30 minutes. Will definitely be giving them business again.

My front bumper was hanging off my car and the shield underneath was ripped and hanging so I called in to a few different places and Erik had me bring my car in and he gave me a few different options and had the car finished the same day. My car is in great shape now and they did it for cheaper than any other place in town would have! I would recommend everyone in the valley going to Maaco. 5 stars.

I have always heard that Maaco was only good for a quick easy paint job. They blew me away with their work. I hade them pull dents, fix a bunch of rust spots and paint the whole truck. They did a fantastic job on all of it. No complaints. Will definitely go back if I need to.

I got a Mazda 3 painted because my paint was looking faded. I changed the color of my car completely and it ended up looking great! Any potential problems were fixed free of charge and MAACO was sure to make sure the job was done right. I would definitely go there again.

A deer hit me a few weeks ago, so I had to pay for body work out of pocket. I went to a few different body shops and all the prices for out of pocket work was ridiculously priced. So I went to Maaco and was super surprised by the level of work they did for me. They worked with me on parts and let me bring my own in. They knew I had a budget and helped me out with the cost as well. The mechanics really knew what they were doing and took care of me. I would definitely take my car back here for future work. Paint peeling after 8 months. Got in a wreck so I bought a bumper at a pull apart. Maaco did a good job of smoothing it out and putting a fresh coat of paint on it. Their paint matched my cars paint very well, but here we are 8 months later and their paint job is already peeling off and flaking. The bumper was originally green, which you can see underneath, they painted it the grey/green to match my car. I knew they were cheap, but I expected it to last much longer than 8 months**EDIT Maaco asked me to reach out to them directly via email, which I did twice. Still have not heard anything from them. They want to look like they’re willing to help, but when it comes down to it they won’t do anything.

I had a WONDERFUL experience at Maaco. I know next to nothing about cars and had to have a front bumper attached after my bungee cord solution didnt pass safety inspection. I was rear ended last month and had to get estimates on the bumper repair. This was not only the initially cheapest estimate but they did a legitimate check and found out that the bumper as a whole and a supporting bracket were still intact but just needed to be popped back into place. With some simple common sense we managed to cut the final price down to less than half of another estimate which wanted to write us off with unnecessary parts. The service was timely and they even cleaned the interior.As much as it sucks to get rear-ended Maaco really did make it a better experience.

We had a fantastic experience with the crew at Maaco, especially with Erik. Our Camry’s bumper was torn off when we were rear-ended, and he gave an excellent estimate and answered all our questions. When we took the car in, he stayed in contact and gave us updates. Ultimately, the total price of the repair was just in line with the estimate. If we have any body repair problems in the future, we’ll definitely go to the Logan Maaco.

For the price this cant be beat! The owner was exceptional! I had a very difficult color of grey to match and it was spot on. I had heard mixed reviews on Maaco but from this experience will say that it was fantastic. There were a few little small details that were brought up and the owner jumped right on it to make sure everything was to my expectation. I would recommend trying this location on, I cant say for every Maaco but here I felt like the work was professionally done and would have been the same if I had paid double at other body shops.

I dont understand the negative reviews. Maaco doesnt claim to be a top notch, lifetime warranty type of perfect paint place. When you have an old beater worth a few grand with bad paint or body damage, you take it to Erik at Maaco and get it looking twice as good as it did before for $400-$700. If you want it perfect, then go spend 3-5 grand at a professional body shop. If you want good work done fast for an unbeatable price, go to maaco.

I had my 2000 Subaru Legacy GT painted about two months ago and it still looks great! The Maaco team did some body work to the front of the car, installed a new bumper, hood, and hood latch. They did a great job with everything that I asked them to do for me. I got a great deal on an entire body paint job and would definitely use them again.

I took to Logan MAACO a tired-looking old car whose color had been bleached out after more than a decade under the sun. It had a couple of dents as well. Erik and his crew did an amazing job of bringing the old car back to life. It was gray to begin with, but my son in college had his heart set on yellow. The MAACO crew delivered a gorgeous bright-yellow car back to us. In the process they could not have been more friendly and professional. I would highly recommend their service to anyone. I have had maaco do several of my vehicles, with an overall not bad review. However this is the first truck Ive brought them. The vehicle took them 5 days to complete the one step up from basic. I didnt mind that. I was kind of being pressured into buying a more expensive paint which I was fixed on my decision. Anyways.. upon arrival to pick it up. I noticed a couple dents in the hood. That WAS NOT there before the job was done.. Erik I believe his name is.. told me that it was impossible and this color would show every little thing.. if that was the case they wouldve been there prior to the job starting. I felt a little undermined and questioned on my own vehicle due to him painting cars every day he knows what goes on 24-7.Very nice guy. But did not take my complaint and even try to address it. So in my opinion. I paid way to much to have more problems then before. Thank you

Awesome job on my 2010 speed 3 went from a red to a creamy white and looks amazing and was done very well. Also did my datsun pickup when I was a freshman in highschool 2014 and still looks great.

Not sure where to begin. I took my truck in to have all the dents repaired and painted. First time i was informed it would be done by end of week and when i went to look at it after hours they did not touch a single dent on the truck. I called them first thing Monday morning and they said they will put a rush on it and be ready first thing Tuesday and when the manager Erik talked to me he sounded irritated when i told him we were doing all the dents even though that was why I came to them in the first place and had two separate walks with Chandler around the truck of exactly what we were going to do. It felt like Erik was not happy that he had to do more work on the truck. Well that is why it is there no? I was then told it would be ready that Wednesday and then Thursday then the following Monday and even then it was not complete. It took 15 days to get the truck back and even then it still is not complete, but i have to live with what i get back. If you want perfection you need to go to a professional body shop and pay the $3k with lifetime warranties. My truck has alligator marks in several areas, scuffs and areas not painted fully and no point of bringing it up because you get what you pay for and promises upon promises of things getting fixed to no avail. I had some diamond plated metal covering the top of my tailgate. They could not get two of the screws that were stripped and instead of making a slit so a flat head screwdriver could take the trim off they pried the metal off bending both my metal trim and tailgate, which i now have to hammer carefully back into place as well as buying a new piece of diamond plated trim. They also used way to much buffing compound on my truck and have pretty much bleached my black trim around my windshield and bleached my door handle especially while it was baking in the hot sun all day. I have tried cleaning the handles the best i could and now look way out of place with it. I now have to buy new door handles just so they match now. I have detailed cars and trucks before. You buff and clean a single area at a time as you move about the vehicle. It almost looks like it was caked on and then buffed throwing the excess around the truck. Felt like no care was given to me or the truck. I paid over $1500 to have things done to it and when i went to pick it up there are things that did not get addressed and appears to be more of a rush job rather than taking pride in their work. It is a good thing they discounted me $53.30 for my troubles.... Now i can apply that discount for new door handles. No apologies just excuses and delays.The only person that seemed to care about what was going on with the truck was Chandler at the front counter. He did an awesome job in keeping me in the loop and tried his best to keep things going positive even though the actual work was out of his control.Next time I am needing a paint job done on a vehicle I am taking it to a professional auto body shop instead of Maaco.

The worst service I’ve ever received by far! Took a truck in to have a door repaired because Macco’s bonding job didn’t last even four months after I purchased the vehicle. They had promised me prior to going in that they had no problem fixing there mistake. Yet when I showed up they refused to fix it, and insisted that instead I buy a new door for $500. The manager agreed to paint and hang the new door for no charge if I would just agree to buy a replacement door. I reluctantly agreed. However, when I went to pick up my truck later the new door didn’t fit correctly and it had also never been painted. When I called the manager to complain he tried to take the offensive approach and blame the crappie job on me somehow. I ended up blowing up and yelling at him on the phone for not taking responsibility for his work, after I spent $500 that I never should have had to spend in the first place. Then I had to go to another body shop and pay them to rehang and paint the door the proper color.
