I have a mountain bike that needed quite a bit of work done to it. All of the other shops in town could never fix the issues with my bike. I took it in to sunrise and Adam has been very helpful and friendly. It took one trip in to sunrise and they got my bike running better than when it was brand new!
I was referred to Sunrise Cyclery by a family member. It has a reputation and expertise that is unparalleled. I had been consistently disappointed with other bike shops inadequate knowledge and wanted something specific. I needed a bike that could be used for commuting and light off-road use. I needed a bike with minimal features that was rock-solid and reliable. I explained these things to Jeff and he recommended me 3 possible bikes. One of these I selected. This he said to me was the do-all bike he would select if he had to pick just one bike. He spent the better part of an hour adjusting and tailoring the bike to my height and build. Once we were finished I took it on a test ride and realized I had something special. I have put 100+ miles on the bike now and it has lived up to my expectations. I cannot recommend Sunrise enough to cyclists who want a serious bike and need recommendations from people who live and breathe bicycles.
All I have to say is that this is by far the best bike shop I have ever been to! I brought in my old steel frame 10 speed that needed some pretty major work (freewheel, brakes, chain, crank, ect.) I dropped it off on a Wednesday morning and it was already done by the evening. I couldnt believe it! The quality of work was exceptional I could tell everyone at the shop really enjoyed what they were doing and cared for the customers bikes. And to top it off, I feel the price of repair was very reasonable if not a little bit less than what I would have paid elsewhere. Oh, and my bike now rides like its new! Sunrise Cyclery has for sure gained a new loyal customer!
Always stop by the weekend if LOTOJA. Great little shop in an old house. This place has character!
These guys are so wonderful! I came in asking for some help picking out a bicycle and ended up with new friends and the bike of my dreams! The amount of time they were willing to spend helping me was really unbelievable. I cannot say enough good things about this shop! They really are a next level bike shop with exceptional pros who really enjoy what they do. We tried the bike out this weekend and climbed every hill that we used to push our last bike up. I could not have been happier my daughter calls it our new racing bike and she loved going fast on it. Thank you!
Hands down the best bike shop in the state of Utah. Jeff Keller is not your typical owner- he is responsive, helpful, and knows his stuff! I had them put on new tires and tubes for me, one of the tubes was defective and went flat on my ride - I took the bike in to get a new tube thinking I had hit something sharp. Little did I know it was a defective tube and same day the owners called me, let me know it was a defective tube, and didn’t charge me anything for the tube. Also, if you are looking for a great bike fitter- Jeff is your guy. I shaved massive amounts of time after getting fitted by Jeff and even took first place in my first race. Grateful for businesses like sunrise.
Honestly, really disappointed with my experience here. The staff seemed very unfriendly even after I had been giving them business for a while. Went to a different bike shop in town and enjoyed it much more (and they had better prices). I’ll be a regular customer there instead.
Sunrise is, without question, the best bike shop in Logan. They are a huge asset to the community, live and breathe bikes, and will take great care of you. Most importantly, they arent pretentious like so many other shops. You can walk in with a $10,000 bike or a rust heap you pulled out of the dumpster and they will treat you with kindness and respect. Trustworthy when it matters.
Well stocked and skilled bike shop that invests a TON into the local community. Very knowledgeable staff and mechanics. The owner is super friendly. The bike mechanic women that works at the shop did excellent work on my mountain bike and on my road bike.Quick side note. A few weeks ago my road bike was stolen here in Logan. I shared my frustration with the owner and he went above and beyond to help me get my bike back. Please give this local shop your business because they do great work for a great price and they care about this community.
Love these guys! Have had my bike in their shop a few times this pandemic summer and every visit, theyve been so professional and nice. My bike now works better than it ever has. I also appreciate how accommodating theyve been with my requests to avoid going into the store because of the pandemic. Thanks Jeff to you and your crew for doing such a great job!
The owner and everyone working there were really nice. Gave me great advice not only on my bike but encouraging me to continue to work hard in college. Quick bike tips and tips on critical thinking too. Ill be back for more sweet gear and the advice
I had the most wonderful experience at Sunrise. I did a bike fitting with Jeff and I was treated so kindly and received awesome advice. I am a middle aged woman who is just getting in to road biking. Most bike shops would have told me that my gifted bike did not fit me and I should just invest in a new bike. Jeff was very honest and worked with me and the bike for two hours so the bike fit me perfectly. I immediately felt comfortable when I entered this shop. Sunrise is my new bike shop for life!
I think some people dont really realize the cost of ownership when it comes to owning a bike. I used to be one of those people. Its orders of magnitude cheaper than the costs associated with your car. But its probably going to cost you more than what you spend on your shoes. When it comes to saving money in the long run, maximizing performance and comfort, and uncompromising safety; Sunrise Cyclery is a premium shop. Every time I take my bike in I know its going to come out a lean mean machine just as good or better than I day I bought it.They have a great team and take quality control very seriously. When I take my bike in I feel confident that they scrutinize every millimeter and when I bring my bike back because I need something adjusted they help me out and they do it with a smile. In addition to just doing a good job, customer satisfaction appears to be very important for them. While performance and comfort are great benefits, what it really comes down to for me is that taking good care of you bike is a lot cheaper than fixing your face.If you ever actually ride your bike and especially if you ever depend on your bike as a mode of transportation I highly, highly recommend this shop. For maximum satisfaction, I would suggest taking sometime to shop around so you can first come to terms with the cost of owning a bike. Sure you can kick the can down the road, but in the end you always have to pay the piper. Sometimes it will be cheaper to buy a new one, unless you just love your bike, cost of love and all...
If you are going to buy a bike and plan on parking it in your garage for most of the next 10 years as a dust collector, then Sunrise is not your bike shop. However if you are intent on owning a bike that you will actually enjoy riding every day for the next 10 years, then Sunrise Cyclery is great place to get some expert advice before your purchase, a high-quality bike that is custom fit for your body and your intended use, and superb service after your purchase.
We have had a great experience with getting multiple bikes from Sunrise. Jeff has been extremely helpful getting us the correct bikes for our needs. He is eager to teach my kids how to care for and maintain their new bikes. Very friendly service and has gone above and beyond helping keep things tuned up and even repairing some derailleur problems that were obviously caused from a wreck, free of charge.Great local business and we intend to keep coming back for our biking needs!
Come here if you want to be taken advantage of because of your lack of bike experience. Go to Al’s if you want honest and quality service.***Update and my response to the business owner***- I think it’s extremely unprofessional and tacky to list out business transactions for anyone on this platform the way that you’ve done it. I am not Colt, nor do I have a brother named Colt and the experience I’m referring to has nothing to do with water bottles or pedals.
Overall, they were pretty nice and friendly and did a good job on my bike but I came out with a bill multiple times what I thought. I took it in to get a broken front derailleur replaced and a brake cable fixed. The tech called and said they found some other things that needed to be adjusted and I gave the ok thinking that the cost would be reasonable like every other bike shop Ive been to. I ended up having a RIDICULOUSLY huge bill. I do have a bike thats functioning like new but alternative parts could have been used which would have cost much less and some of the fixes/ adjustments really werent necessary. I paid more than I usually do than when I need something done on my car! I would suggest trying out another bike shop or being very explicit about costs (I was never given an estimate even though I asked.)Edit: After seeing that I was concerned about the price, someone at Sunrise contacted me and due to the misunderstanding in price was able to give me a discount. Also, there was cassette that was changed twice that was taken off, so with that in mind the cost of parts wasnt as much as it seemed. Unless you dont mind throwing down some serious money, make sure you get a solid quote on anything first!
Great bike shop. Very friendly. Professional and VERY knowledgeable. They fixed several problems on my bike that had been caused by other bike shops in the valley (brake, wheels & cassette). However, docking a star because they failed to call me about the parts and cost. It wasnt until I picked it up that I found out parts had to be replaced, and that they had already replaced them. It was a surprise (huge) expense. Will visit again though when needed... just will ask more questions, be more specific and request price quotes prior to working on the bike.
Great experience working with Jeff and the Sunrise team! Jeff was extremely helpful in getting the correct fit. He took the time to make adjustments and explain details specific to the bike. He was very attentive and respectful.
I’ve always walked out of Sunrise feeling taken care of. Not only will they help you find the perfect bike for you, if that’s what you’re after, but they will also be there to help you throughout the process of being a bike rider. The ENTIRE staff at sunrise makes me feel like they are there strictly for me. Awesome experiences all around. Thank you Sunrise.
Wonderful local bike shop. Always fun to visit. Great bike mechanics. Be sure to check out Z-OX when you go to Sunrise!
I bought a vintage Schwinn and needed to get it ready to ride. I went to the local competition in town, but they didnt seem like they cared much, and had a long waitlist. When I went into Sunrise, I was greeted nicely and I immediately felt like I made the right choice going with them. Jeff and his wife admired my bike and made me feel like a proud owner. They gave me two new tires and tubes, and even threw in a cleaning without me asking. Exceptional service. I would recommend everyone and their mother to come here for all their cycle needs.
Rude employees. Poor selection. Claustrophobic retail space. No parking.
Very happy with my new bike and the personalized service from sunrise. They were very helpful in selecting the right bike based on how often I ride and how I use it. I have done business with most of the bike shops in Logan and would not hesitate to recommend Sunrise.
I need to start by saying Im new to cycling. That being said I have been to every bike shop in town and sunrise is the busiest and the best. Jeff is great he has one of the best memories out of anyone Ive met. I went in once he fitted me for a bike and I needed to come back to try a size he didnt have. I came back almost a week later walked in the door and he knew my name and exactly what I was looking at.Jeff is great about putting himself in your shoes and making recommendations based on experience. His staff is competent and friendly and is a good reflection of the owner and shop. I have not had a bad experience there and suspect as long as Jeff is running the shop I wont. This is a fairly small shop but they will take care of you and if they dont have something youre looking for they will probably get it for you. I am happy with my bianchi and glad I didnt go with a giant or a trek.Prices are fair for the market, bikes are great, and the staff is great.I would recommend sunrise for any and all bike purchases.
Paul and Jeff are great. Very knowledgeable and willing to help. Fastest shop in the Cache Valley for service.
Excellent people and excellent service. Very friendly and always willing to help with anything bicycle related. Everyone at Sunrise is extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and willing to take the time to explain issues with your bike. They were even able to fix a recurring issue with one of my bikes during a tune-up that was missed by a different bike shop last year. I recently purchased a new bike from Sunrise and they worked with me to ensure that I had a good fit and that everything was in good working order. Highly recommend going to Sunrise for any cycling needs.
If you want to support a store where the people who work there are openly condescending toward you with their coworkers in front of you, then this is the store for you.I went in to see how much a tune up for my bike would cost. Instead they tried to take advantage of my lack of knowledge with bicycles and tried to get me to buy new tires and new brake pads and new sealant and tubes when all I wanted to know was how much a tune up would be and buy new tubes. The first time I went in I ended up buying brake pads and sealant but then I went back because I decided that I shouldn’t have settled for less than what I had asked for. I went inside and asked to return the brake pads. The man came over and looked confused and a little annoyed. I asked to exchange the brake pads for tubes like I had originally wanted. The Man kept telling me I needed the brake pads because my other ones are so dry. I said I think I will be fine. This man turned to his coworker and said. “Did you hear that Paul? She’ll be just fine.” Then they both laughed. I told them they were being rude and that I wanted the tubes. The man then got me the tubes and I went on my way. I am all for supporting local businesses. However not when they are condescending and pushy. I will not be returning to this store ever again and I do not recommend it to anyone else either.
I was in Logan for the Lotoja bike race. I had a set of wheels that needed cassette and hub changeover. While putting bike together from transport from NY, realized the derailleur hanger had broken. This happened Thursday before the Saturday race. The team at Sunrise had the part shipped overnight, and also machined a spacer needed for wheels to fit bike. All of this was done in an effort to allow me to have time to test ride wheels and get time on the bike before Saturday race. To say they were professional and helpful was an understatement. They were preparing to setup and quick fit a loaner bike in the event the parts did not arrive in time. Keep in mind, this was in the lead up to one of their busiest Friday/Saturdays of the year. Bike was perfect on race day. Also received a phone call the following Monday to see how race went. Wonderful group of people.
Jeff is one of the most caring and beautiful people Ive had the pleasure of giving and old bike to and having it turn into something magical again. Truly a wizard of his craft. Thanks jeff
I went into Sunrise with a chain issue on my mountain bike. I walked out 2 days later with my chain in the same condition and a $96 charge for a tune up that I didnt ask for. I received condescending answers to my questions and could hardly get my questions out without being interrupted. They told me that Id need a shock pump, but when I didnt want to purchase one from them and instead said I wanted to look online for a better deal, they got mad and threatened that they wouldnt be able to help me in the future if I wouldnt listen to them. That shouldnt be an issue since I dont plan on going back. I took my bike into Als a couple days later and they were very helpful, werent condescending, and didnt charge me anything to look at my chain!
I am fairly new into doing my own stuff with mountain biking and they have been great with helping me figure things out. I was making a stupid mistake that I never wouldve realized if it wasnt for Jeff. He helped me out and walked me through the steps and made sure I understood what was going on. Couldnt of asked for anything better.
This is exactly what a bike shop should be. If you’re a racer, this is the spot. Road or mountain or ‘cross or gravel? This is the spot. Commuter? Yep. Weekend warrior who used to be fit but is now rocking a dad bod extraordinaire? They’ve got you covered. Great atmosphere, expert advice, great products, no BS.Aside from the usual services, the owner Jeff is also an expert bike fitter. I recently had him take a look at my position on the bike, and after spending the whole morning measuring and aligning from the cleats up, I am a more comfortable and more powerful rider. He literally made my 15 year old road bike come to life again, and I can’t wait to order my new ride from Sunrise.
Fully intended to go in and buy a helmet. But the owner was very unpleasant and made me feel very uncomfortable. All I did was asked him how much it was and he said “you better not come here to get sized then go buy it online.” Like I said. Fully intended on buying there...Rather spend my money anywhere else.
I would consider myself less than novice at biking. Our family decided to take our biking one step further than just riding around the block. Our bikes were in definite need of repair. Needing to walk into a bike shop we felt intimidated and vulnerable. We were expecting an experience nothing short of talking to a car salesman and worrying about being taken advantage of due to our lack of knowledge and experience. We want to write this review because our experience was the complete opposite. Jeff and his staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They took the time to explain things and helped educate us. Jeff showed us the different levels of wear on our bikes so we understood what actually needed to be replaced and what parts still had many miles of use left on them. We appreciated the guidance and assistance of Jeff and his staff. They are in it for the love of biking. They welcomed us with wide open arms into the biking community. We still have lots to learn, this time we wont need to worry about feeling intimidated. We know we are always welcome to stop by for whatever questions we may have.
I really enjoy visiting Sunrise Cyclery. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. I always come away with a better understanding of how to take care of my bike. They do good work and their prices are reasonable.
This shop provides some of the greatest customer service I have ever experienced. Im new to cycling so I had a plethora of questions which Jeff was able to answer and he made some excellent recommendations to improve my riding experience. I look forward to doing more business with Sunrise in the future.
Excellent people to work with. Jeff is great at custom fitting bikes. If you have any physical issues, he can help set your bike up to help you be more comfortable and have more fun. Also, I had some problems with a Specialized bike I bought (somewhere else). I was not getting good service from Specialized. Jeff went out of his way to work with specialized to get the part I needed and was able to fix up my bike. Great service.
I love Sunrise. We purchased two cycles from them and had the best customer service experience. Weve been back for tune-ups, gear purchases, and tweaks to our fittings. Each experience is top notch. Jeff is incredibly knowledgeable and has changed the way I ride. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Oh, and Bernard is the best.
Great shop. Very knowledgeable people who genuinely care about biking and want to help others. I came in with some simple questions about my chain. Rather than just selling me a new chain and fixing it themselves, they took the time to answer my questions and show me how to make sure my bike will stay in good shape. Come here if you want to learn more about your bike.
Best shop in town. I maitain a couple vintage bikes for my wife and I to commute on and theyre always good to pick up odd parts and things I need. So if you maintain your own bikes this youll find a friend here!
Sunrise-level personal service and repair cannot be found anywhere else in Cache Valley. If you bring your bike here for repair, the same person who worked on it last time will likely fix it again. Not some college student. They know bikes!Ive purchased 4 bikes from Sunrise and been very happy with the experience. They ask your budget, needs, etc and try to find the bike that will fit for you.
You cannot work with a more personable individual than Jeff Keller. His enthusiasm for bicycles and all things creative is infectious. It’s a great place to purchase your first bicycle or a bicycle for the serious rider.
I HIGHLY recommend Sunrise Cyclery! I just bought my first road bike from Jeff and his crew. I had no idea how much cycling experience is in this one place. Jeff and his crew all have past racing experiences and knowledge. I walked in here on a recommendation and I am so glad I did. I have never ridden a road bike before, but I told them what my intended goal was, and gave Jeff my budget and he fit me with the perfect bike. The fitting a lone is easily worth $100. I have never really fit right on a bike, but when Jeff fit me for my bike, I could sit on it for hours and not get fatigued.I had a problem where I was going to have to cancel my bike because I neeeded money for something else, but Jeff was great and he was willing to work out a way for me to be able to pay it off and he would hold onto the bike for me. I was finally able to pay off my bike and ride it home this past weekend.
Jeff is rude, pushy, and loud. We thought my sister had bought the wrong rear bike rack for her bike, but Jeff assured her it would fit and basically told her to just figure it out. He refused to help her, and when asked for more guidance on how to install it, he became enraged and started screaming. He basically threw her bike down the steps of his store. We will never be going back to this establishment. Its a wonder he has ANY customers.
My son and I were in Logan for LoToJa and needed service to our bikes. Jeff and Paul made all the necessary adjustments. Jeff also emailed me the day after the race to see how the bikes performed. I highly recommend Sunrise Cyclery as they are incredibly good at what they do and very friendly, too!!
Love this place. Ive moved out of Logan many times in the past few years. Every time I go in they remember me. They are always super fast fixing things in a few hours. And tune ups only in a few days. Best part is they always sell you exactly what you need. They dont over or under sell. They find out what you need and get it for you. Highly recommend.
I took my new biked and they were extremely helpful and nice. Taught me how to change my tires and helped me put on my bike rack. I will definitely be coming back and taking all the classes they offer!
Very helpful and informative place. While cycling across America i stopped by and wrapped some bike tubes around the sunrise tube ball. I love the bike selection, artwork and atmosphere at the shop. Thanks for helping me tune up my bike and I cant wait to meet again.
I previously was not satisfied with a service at Sunrise Cyclery however they properly acknowledged the issue and reached out in a professional manner. It’s apparent that their goal is to completely satisfy their customers.
There are several things I love about this store!! They have been around long enough they have things others do not but also have all the latest and greatest. They are enjoying being in the bicycle business and it shows!! They are determined to make sure you have fun cycling regardless of your level of experience or budget. Whether you are just getting started or a seasoned rider this is one place in Logan you should really try on for size. I believe you will be pleasantly surprised how mudch fun a visit to your local bike shop can be!!
I love this place! My husband and I both bought bikes here and the employees helped us find the perfect ones without wasting our time. I love how personal and relaxed it feels when you go in there. As I think of new accessories that I want I love to go in the store and try things out and ask questions. The staff has been amazing working with us and I am excited to continue my purchases through them :)
This is an awesome little bike shop. The owner was great and answered all of the many questions I had for him. He helped me pick out the best bike to fit my needs and I was able to take home a nice mountain bike for a sweet deal.
I went to Sunrise Cyclery to look for a bike I could ride to work that fit within my budget. I had a great experience selecting a bike. I shared what I was looking for in a bike, what I was using it for, and what my budget was and Jeff helped me find a perfect fit! Everyone there was eager to answer my questions and respond to my concerns. I have been riding my bike consistently now for over a month and I couldnt be happier! Thanks Sunrise!
Jeff is a great guy who legitimately cares enough to learn my name. This company has been around for many years. They are the best local bike shop. They have a cool spot too.
I cannot recommend these guys enough. Jeff, Paul and Alexandria were willing to take the 3 (!!!!) bikes my kids are taken apart and piece them back together and gave us a great deal on the tune ups. They took the time to really get to my tweens levels and discuss slowing down when dealing with mechanical devices. My husband and I were at our wits end with them. Jeff gave us advice on how to approach the bike scene with them and we are setting up some lessons for them to go back and learn one on one with Alexandria on bike care and repair. These guys are the real deal. They are about their customers. They care about their community and they care about people. DO NOT TAKE YOUR BIKES OR YOUR BUSINESS ANYWHERE ELSE.
All summer I had serious bike issues that caused a lot of pain, literally, in the rear. I had constant deep bruising on my sit bones. After switching shorts multiple times and trying other things, a good friend recommended Jeff Keller, and we scheduled a bike fit.Jeff not only spent plenty of time measuring and getting things just right for me, he also gave me tips on my pedal stroke and form. Jeff promised I would have more power as a result of the fit, and I most definitely did! I got PR’s on every ride after that for the rest of the season, under conditions where I shouldn’t have gotten PR’s, like extra wind.I came in for one small adjustment after that. After giving my rear time to heal, I hardly ever think about it anymore. I love my fit, and my seat. I feel like a barrier has been removed from my progress as a cyclist, I wish I would have gone in sooner. The bike fit was money very well spent. I highly recommend a bike fit by Jeff at Sunrise Cyclery to anyone!
There is a reason why Sunrise has been in business since 1981. This is a great place! Jeff was awesome to work with and took the time to explain how the new bike will work. He went over the gears and ratios with my son. I wish there was a bicycle shop like this in Utah County but I dont mind making the trip back to my home town! Thanks Sunrise for the great experience!
I have shopped at Sunrise Cyclery off and on for years. They located in a lovely part of town in an old quaint home. I love the environment there. The staff are always friendly and helpful. They have great products that they stand by. They are a great asset to our community.
I have never had anything but a positive, lovely experience here. They are knowledgeable and truly care about the community. I recommend Sunrise Cyclery to everyone I know, even those who dont own bicycles...yet!
Sunrise Is the go-to place for all things bikes in Cache Valley, hands down! Jeff and his staff have a kind of ridiculous amount of bike knowledge that they will happily share with you the second they start talking with you! Bring any bike problem to them and they will spend the time to make sure it is resolved! Come join the sunrise family and start bringing your bikes here! I came to Jeff twice about buying a bike for my wife, and both times, he has chosen a bike that she absolutely loves and cherishes! Lots of love for Sunrise, also Mila and Bernard, the shop dog and cat, are both an amazing, home-y addition to the atmosphere at the shop!
Paul at the service department is incredible! I bought a couple of rough used childrens bikes that I needed to fix up, because Im on a tight budget. After taking them apart and painting them, I had some trouble reassembling. Paul help me get them fixed up and put together and working like a dream. My boys had the best birthday ever!
They have been my bike shop since ... forever. I buy bikes there. They take care of them, because I just dont want to do the work anymore. The quality of the work that you get at every cycle shop depends on the mechanic you get. Always check the bike with a ride around the block and up Temple Hill. The guys that have worked on my bike for a few years have been excellent.I am fairly committed to a longterm relationship with my auto mechanic and my bike mechanic.
I was born and raised in Logan and this place has been around as long as I can remember. The staff is very helpful even when they are busy. Prices are fair and competitive. This shop hosts races through out the year. Great part of Logan!
This review is from the perspective of a former employee, I loved working at sunrise but with an upcoming internship I resigned. Jeff Keller has been one of my favorite employers He is a demanding man to work for but always fair and honest. Nothing but excellence is acceptable as an employee here. If you want a job where you can clock in clock out and pick up a pay check this is not for you. If you want a chance to be an involved member of a team that feels more like family this is the place. You will have new opportunities as often as you want them as long as your quality of work is outstanding. I started here with over 6 years experience as a bicycle technician, I learned more in 2 years with Jeff than I did in 6 years prior.
If youre a local or new to the area and you are looking for assorted nuts about bikes and their maintenance, these are your guys. Theyre extremely well versed in the culture and enjoyment of bicycling. If youre looking for quality accessories at an affordable tag, youll find them here as well. If youre looking to customize your ride or even restore a weathered bike, they will know exactly how to get it done right. You will be greeted with a smile, left with a handshake, and meet some of the nicest (and quirkiest) people Ive ever been blessed to meet. It is evident that the business owners truly care to upkeep their shop and its values.P.s. stop in to meet Mila and Bernard ❤
I went in for a bike fit hoping to clean up my positioning and it turned out I needed some cleat attention. By the end of the session we had neutralized my calves positioning and found a more efficient stroke that I can feel not just in my form but in the duration and intensity of my efforts as well . Thanks.
My spouse bought a bike here a few weeks ago. Great business, great workers. Lucky to have it in Logan!
My previous bike shop in Wisconsin told me the first thing to do when I moved to Utah was find a great bike shop in Logan - and I did! Jeff, Paul and Alexandra - and the rest of the gang - have been awesome with advice and helping me accessorize my commuter bike for all of my new elevation challenges. Jeff even let me borrow one of his new models for a test drive. From fixing a blow out and getting my bike all tuned up for the season, Sunrise Cyclery knows how to provide great customer service.
Sunrise Cyclery has a passion for bicycling which Ive never seen beforr! The staff is friendly and beyond helpful! The fact that theyre local is only a plus! I couldnt recommend them more!
I took in my bike that I use to ride around campus and the guys there were very helpful and knowledgeable especially paul! I had a busted chain and a broken derailleur and they were able to fix it in a timely manner. This is the best my bike has ever ran. Would highly recommend!
This is by far the best local bike shop in Logan and I have been to all of them. The staff there is super friendly and knowledgeable. They have experience in cycling and have lots of good advice. This is THE bike shop to go to.
Im new to cycling. Jeff helped me find the right bike and then spent a great deal of time fitting me. He was cordial, knowledgeable and extremely helpful! I recommended his shop to others looking for great products and great service.
The service at Sunrise Is always efficient and caring. Their expertise and knowledge can’t be beat. Thank you for serving us over the years, we couldn’t be happier with our bikes!
Took bike in for tune-up and came out with a bill for a new bike, ouch! Make sure you get a firm quote first. Secondly, had some other mechanics laugh at the work they did which should be pretty basic I guess. In all fairness, the parts have worked great since.
They are experienced and know whats going on, so if you have money to throw at your bike theyd be a great option. They have a tendency to be adamant that you fix ANYTHING that isnt perfect on your bike, sometimes they just fix things without asking you and then you have a higher bill. They also charged me a rush fee for having it ready in one day without telling me there was a rush fee. That being said, they did have my bike repaired the same day I brought it in.Id like to rate them 3.5 stars because the work was good, but I dont want to put 4 stars because I get the impression they want to scrape every bit of change out of you that they can.
We were on vacation in Bear Lake and had to drive out to get my rear wheel removed as the through axle had broke. They were able to quickly take care of things and even diagnosed what the problem was that another bike shop had breezed by before (bent rear axle). If I lived close to Jeff and the crew here Id bring all my cycling business to them. Thanks guys youre awesome!
Sunrise is a fantastic bike shop with friendly knowledgable staff, good prices, and a fun atmosphere. I visited Sunrise to buy a new mountain bike and they were able to hook me up with a great bike for my ability level and within my budget. My experience at Sunrise was excellent and I would recommend the shop to anyone who is interested in biking. Both experienced and beginner bikers will find what they need here.
I had an old 90s road bike with the seat post fused at the previous owners height. I went to Aggie blue bike and put a monkey wrench to it, and couldnt get it out myself. I went to sunrise and they got the post out, after much sweat, twisting, and even some smoke. They also hooked me up with a cheap used post and saddle . Great experience
Jeff was the absolute nicest. The shop was busy but he spent time with me making sure my rental was all ready, the tires were good, and then he loaded it and tied it in my car. I am definitely coming back!!
Great experience. They had me ride my bike after they were done with the repairs and then happily made tweaks until everything was as I like it. Definitely will do business with them again.
He fixed our bike on the spot. Very professional. Knew exactly what he was doing. Terrific service. Great place to shop and for repairs. Highly recommended!
I just wanted to use my coupon and was basically verbally assaulted by the owner regarding his personal problems with Amazon. I get it, bit dont appreciate the effort to be guilted into buying from him. He then went on about how I should live life. Im 40 yrs old buddy, get over yourself. Ill never go there again. Want to buy local? Go to Joyride.
I rode in a bike event and was in Sunrise the night before. Even in the rush, they were very thorough. Although the shop closed at 6 PM, when someone called at 6:30 PM, they told them to come on out because people were still at the shop. They also loaned me a bike that is now my dream bike-- such a smooth, fun ride. They know bikes, and their customer service exceeds all my expectations.
When I had the pleasure of visiting Sunrise Cyclery (and make no mistake, Ill be back!) what I loved most was the staff members fantastic attitudes and overt dedication to the support of our local community here in Logan. In our conversation, I also was impressed to learn several ways in which this quaint little shop promotes and sponsors the reuse of tires/intertubes in order to be an environmentally responsible business and share those values locally. When I had a bit of an unusual request, the owner himself came out to offer his personal assistance for nothing but the promise that I would continue to spread good works in my own way for the community and for the environment. Thank you Sunrise and you will always have my business!
Don’t t buy a bike of any kind from anyone else. I have a road bike, fat tire bike and now my second mountain bike from Jeff Keller at Sunrise Cyclery. They’re the best when it comes to outfitting you with the best bike or repairing you current bike.
I was travelling though and he helped me out in Avery good way!
Purchased an Avail. They took the time to fit the bike to me and satisfy what I wanted. It was lots of fun and informational. The staff took great care of me and I look forward to using them in the future!
Took my daughter in to pick out a bike. She had worked hard to earn a bike. We walked in, they took a good look at my kid. Walked her over and showed her a bike. She took it for a test run, and loved the bike. Then when she paid for her bike, they walked her through everything she needed to know. They are by far the best bike shop. I will be going back.
Best bike shop in town! The owner and his staff really know their stuff, they take their time to really help each customer with whatever they need and they really make biking feel more like a way of life than a hobby or exercise choice. Seriously, The. Best. Place. In. Town.
Great customer service. Brought my bike in with a few questions and left the store with solid answers. Jeff, the owner, was great help in sorting out my bikes problem. I will be back next time I have questions.
Fantastic service. They were very nice and willing to help me with my bike. Great place to go when you next your bike fixed!! :)
I decided to ride my bike up to USU campus today for the first time this year. The padding in my helmet was falling apart so I removed it before heading out. The exposed velcro started to bother my forehead pretty quickly into my ride so I stopped by Sunrise Cyclery to buy some padding. I was greeted as soon as I entered the store and although they didnt have the exact padding that my helmet required, they made it work with a mixture of what they did have on hand. I thanked them as I pulled out my wallet and was immediately told that I didnt need to worry about paying. Great customer service, very friendly, and a wonderful environment. I would recommend Sunrise Cyclery.
Came into Logan, Utah while on tour and my bikes shifting was a hot mess. Found this shop and was glad that I did. Got everything fixed, quickly, and beautifully. Worth a stop in just to see the huge rubberband ball of bike tubes out front. Unexpectedly sweet shop.
My buddy rented a bike for the day $50. This thing was so bad that I would be embarrassed to charge anything for. There was literally a wine cork stuck in the frunt fork. We both have rented bikes here in the past and got a great deal ($3000 bike, $40 for the day). This was an absolute joke!I also dropped my sons bike off to be worked on. I was quoted around $100 for all that needed to be done. The total bill was $180! Im totally cool with an extra $10 $20 but extra $80! I own a local service business and if we ever need to charge more we call the customer. Where was my call?
I went on a very busy Saturday, but still there was plenty of associates asking to help me. I received great recommendations for my problem and was so impressed I will definitely be back!
