Staff are very courteous and safety conscious. They provide dividers between tables and wipe down constantly, also only one person to use the toilet at a time.

Best, service in town 5 stars every time.

We went back to the Sportsman after my brothers funeral. The buffet was lovely and everyone was very helpful. I asked for something off menu to be added to the buffet and it was done without hesitation. Very accommodating. Thank you all at the Sportsman xXx

Hired for my Grandads wake after his funeral. Staff were wonderful. The bar is really cosy so was perfect.

Great staff, smiles and laughs and really helpful. Food home cooked and plenty of it...keep a good pint and Thursday Quiz night is great.

Quick visit to discuss hiring venue. Although we couldnt hire the venue on the date they were very helpful in suggesting alternative locations. Had to drop a star because all of the male toilet urinals were out of action on the day of the visit.

Best ham, egg and chips Ive had for ages.

We had a nice meal there at lunch time three different meals and everybody enjoyed there food.The prices were ok for what we had and they make proper chips and it has just been refurbished so its a nice place to have a pint or something to eat.

Long wait for lunch (1 hour 20 mins) lots of management excuses, not many people fell for. Long term staff working as hard and well as ever but with bland new menu.....
