When it was time to refinish the hardwood floors in my home, I had a hard time finding anyone who would do the work. Marty Bergsjo was prompt, courteous and had a good price. When it was time to do the job his team showed up at the appointed time and got to work. The end result exceeded my expectation. My floor looks better than it did when it was new.
Bergsjo Construction did an excellent job helping us install flooring in our basement and master closet. They were quick and really came to our aid when we needed the job done quickly! The flooring looks great and we couldn’t be happier with the end result! Thank you!

Marty and Andy refinished our wood floors and they look fabulous. I was surprised how clean it was, very little dust at all. They were professional, personable and I would highly recommend Bergsjo Construction.

Our choice of Bergsjo as a prospective finish carpenter was based on an existing great reputation and recommendation by a friend, and it is largely that reputation which tempers this review. Our actual experience was problematic in that the contractors employee committed and arrived to do a baseboard project - an appointment for which we patiently awaited. Minutes after his arrival, the carpenter abruptly and bruskly said he would not be able to do the work, claiming they only had allotted themselves four hours to do the job, not having sized up the work up beforehand.Though no transaction occurred, we were dealt some unearned rudeness, which we concede may be the manner of the employee and not fully representative of the company. In practical terms, we had discontinued our search for a carpenter and their dismissal of the job on thin grounds put the project back against a deadline and no remaining time to garner other contractor options. We all recognize every vendors right to reject any job, as fundamentally as the buyers choice of vendor. But how its handled matters. The vendor likely has terrific craftsmanship above and beyond the issue of business manners, but we werent given the chance to find out.It turned out to be relatively straightforward work in terms of finish carpentry and the job was completed by the homeowner.
