DO NOT BUY A REFURBISHED MACHINE!! I bought a predatorer generator and thank God I tested it before the 5 days to return it ended. Turns out it was LEAKING GAS!! Remind you they say that they have the factory check it on open box items but it wasnt happening for me. This would have caused a big fire if I continued to actually start the machine. I got my money back fully which was nice. But dont buy used machine from here it may or may not work for you

This place was really clean and organized, I only give it 3 stars due to the guy that was there behind the register and a false availability of a tool I was looking for. My self and other customers had asked that guy for help and he just responded it should be in that aisle n I cant go show because I cant leave the register. Note the store was not busy maybe 5 customers in the store. On the other hand the lady that was there went beyond to help find something she even looked in the back room and in different aisles n still manage to help the other customers with what they were looking for.

They issued receipt under my name and someone elses credit card number. It looks like as if I did fraudulent activity by using someone elses credit card to purchase items. If person who actually purchased these items came through they could ask for their money back at the bank and they would come after me. This is very serious situation I really do not need this stress.

Staff is always helpful and they seem to always have most items in stock. Store its self is great they have lots of good tools and great prices. Tools might not be what you want if you are in a trade and use them every day but are great for home owners who need replacement tools or specialty tools they might not normally get due to price.

I wish I could remember the names of the two gentleman that helped me out, because they deserve to be called out for their customer service and expertise. I recently purchased a used car that needs a little bit of loving on the bodywork (thanks for all the salt, IDOT). I will be doing the repairs myself, so I need to purchase a few things, mostly a welder, paint gun and air compressor. One of the staff helped me with EVERYTHING I would need to know about the paint gun and what compressor would be required for it. He actually listened to my needs and my desire to stay within a budget. His solution is going to run me under $200, which is more than reasonable for me, and the options he suggested are going to exceed my performance needs.I was still wandering around the store and found myself at the welding section. I know how to weld and am quite competent at it, but I dont know the first thing about purchasing a machine, other than buying a big-name brand such as Miller, which again, isnt an option for me. So he asked me what my needs would be: clean welds, a variety of materials such as steel and aluminum, etc. Im pretty sure that I want a TIG machine for it, so I think thats the way I want to lean. Theres a relatively inexpensive machine there, which is great for my budget, but he was not convinced (I think he was under the impression that I planned on doing like, production levels of work, rather than using it a few hours on the weekends). He suggested a more expensive model, which I agreed with except for the budget constraints. He told me that if I bought the inexpensive unit, I should get the two year service plan, not because he thought the machine would fail, but because if I decide that it just simply will not meet my needs, I can return it and just pay the difference on the more expensive model.10 out of 10, would absolutely recommend this location!

Good value for tools. Theyre not top of the line but, for the price, if it breaks after a couple of uses you can buy another for what ends up being less than the price of a top of the line item. Harbor Freights great place to get tools. Prices are good enough that you can buy things you only use occasionally and have them on hand. The price of things like the vibrating tool and angle grinder make them to cheap not to join their mailing list and get the catalog monthly. Plus get on the email list specials in your inbox. If you buy on sale and use the coupons youll get great deals. Plus some of the free items that give away with a purchase or nice. I particularly like the flashlight.

This store was nicely stocked and had everything I was looking for. The employee directed me to the exact location od something I needed and even took me to the location of other items I was looking for. The prices are reasonable and its a great place to find what you need for different jobs. Its much smaller than your typical big box store so they dont carry everything, but for in and out shopping for tools and hardware this is the place to go.

Are you a professional tradesman? If so, this place might not be what your looking for. Are you some dude that owns a house and need a certain tool to use a few times in its life, but never really get abused like a pro would do? This place fits the bill. Nothing here is snap-on, or even Craftsman. What it is is cheap as dirt and servicible for a few uses every now and then. Would I buy my socket set here...no. would I buy a brake bleeder to use three times in its life? Yes. And it would be half the price of a good quality tool.

Its sufficient for your tool needs. They do have some decent prices and they are getting away from being a throw away tool store. But be reminded that not everything they have its less expensive or has better warranties than the other big box stores.

Its hit or miss at the harbor. No matter what you are buying you should really do your research on absolutely every single item and look at the reviews on absolutely every single item because most of it is just flat-out junk if youre using it one or two times or you dont plan on having it long-term this stuff is okay if you expect to use your tool long-term this is not the company to be buying it from its generally all garbage but its cheap if you want a quality item you know you need to go buy Craftsman snap on Mac Tools Blue Point Etc their return policy is horrible I have bought an air compressor that was broken right out of the box brought it back for an exchange and the store manager gave me a hard time then he wanted to charge me a 25% restocking fee I was not having any of that nor was I going to put up with that nonsense just do your research and look at the reviews before you buy anything from here

When buying a tool for the first time Ill go to harbor freight. Its cheap so if it breaks that means I used it enough that I should buy a high quality replacement from some other location. Again just know that all the tools are cheap for a reason.

Bought some stuff. Including another 48 AAA flashlight batteries. Since I have all the ratcheting screwdrivers, free 6 screwdriver sets, tarps, flashlights you wear on your head, 9 LED pocket flashlights, Magnetic Bars, Magnetic work lights ... but I can always use more batteries! So I took 24 more AAAs for free. Need to change up and offer box wrenches or something else.

The staff is absolutely great...Im not too sure on companies ordering/stockingI went in for a cheap buffer for my truck. The selection was adequate, but riddle me this...Why carry two buffers that have 7 foam disks and the only selection that is stocked is 3 6 8...And didnt carry the hook and loop replacement to make it a 6.... Rant over I love this place in a pinch just wish they think a little bit... Cause Im not a good thunker and I stared at that self for about 30mins before I figured that nothing would work!!

Great assortment of things you need and things you did not know you needed. Keep the ad or sale catalog pricing with you, because they have to scan that item to give you the very nice sale price. Even their regular prices are very friendly, however.Plan to brouse a bit...you never know what you might see.

What is there to say about Harbor Freight. Merchandise is ok quality, prices are reasonable plus sales and 20% off coupons. I got a iPhone charger cable a little over $7 today plus a free flash light.
